hear you feel this way. I am confused about a few things that you mentioned. The rehearsal dinner name cards are something you needed me to do for you at last minute as a favor. You handed me a handwritten map with your guest names; some names were nicknames so that in itself was not easy. My confusion is, you sent me a text that next morning. I quote " Thank you for all of your help yesterday when two people showed up unannounced. You’re the Best, Thank you". I printed those two guests’ names on the back of cards of other guests that were no longer coming. I am sorry my printing wasn't to your liking. The morning of the wedding you and I were corresponding because you asked me another favor to have my managing partner Lisa put the Champagne on ice for you. We had already discussed that I was going to be a little late, so I was sending Lisa in my place. This was at 7:15 in the AM of your wedding day. We communicated with several text messages that morning with extra tasks and letting me know where some of your decor was. So again, I am very sorry if you feel we didn't communicate enough that morning. When I arrived, I helped Lisa finish the 200 hurricanes with floating candles that we needed to get on the reception dinner tables. That is when I also had to find your decor scattered in two different locations. When It was time to place the 130 name cards on the tables, I Never received the table Map where you wanted the names. I had to ask Jimmy to send me his screen shots by text. I also had to make your seating chart. Those papers were very hard to find in the office as they were not clearly marked. I was able to get that done after I finally found the mirror behind the restaurant outside bar. With me falling behind, I asked the bartender to pour your champagne greet as the bar was located 2 feet from that table and the champagne was located behind the bar. I didn't realize until I came to get you all ready for guest arrival that the task hadn't been done. It did get poured and O&J drink signs did get poured with the help of your friends. Lisa also added those O&J drink signs to the water glasses at the reception because you had so many I didn't want them to go to waste. Your welcome signs were folded up behind the bar. I had no idea where they were. You rented two easels from me, so I expected a different type of sign. There was nothing to hang the sign with. There was no direction where you wanted the signs to be hung. I am happy your wedding party came up with the tree. It was a great idea. It looked very cute. The boys all came in on two separate boats directly to the ceremony. Once I finally got them off the pier after more photos and they had to tie up the boats I got them into place. One of your guests broke her champagne glass and spilled champagne all over the front row bench. I had to clean that up literally right before the ceremony as it was only me at the time to manage everything. I might have caught them didn’t have their boutonnieres on yet, but I didn't catch that. I am sorry about that. The timeline was given to the DJ and the other vendors prior to the wedding day. I was going back and forth from one venue to the other. I am sure that is why you think I was nowhere to be found. I had to clean all the dinner table decor (200 hurricanes and 200 vases, table numbers etc.) while the dancing took place. The catering team wanted to get the tables and chairs away. I worked as fast as I could. The DJ and I spoke about the dances and rest of the timeline a couple times as I went back and forth. He assured me he would have it all taken care of. I spoke with him a week ago. He said and I quote" I was one of the best planners he worked with all year". He also mentioned the dancing went off without a hitch. All of the MCing happens through him. I am not sure why you feel that didn't happen and that is my fault. I did manage that with him. You gave him a 5-star review. I was there guiding people to the buses. I had great conversations with some of your guests and the drivers of the buses. I didn't see any confusion at that time. After I cleaned up all the garbage and made sure everything was back where it should, I checked out with the groom’s father, before I left. I feel if you listened to my advice and hired a full assistant with all of the extra decor you did at the last minute, there would have been plenty of time to get everything finished in time. If the decor was in one location and not scattered over two locations that I had to search for, that would have saved time as well. If the name cards were in order like I requested the day before that would have saved 45 minutes alone. There was a lot of other decor and preparation that did go very well and went off just as you asked. Your money was well spent I assure you. I was happy to pay Lisa out of my own pocket. She was a great help. I am sorry you were not happy with me. I feel proud of how hard I (and Lisa) worked. You made a beautiful bride, and your second outfit was amazing. Jimmy is a very nice person. great. The decor you brought was done very well as DIY's go. You put in a ton of effort and it showed. It was a day I will never forget and turned out to be an awesome night despite the crazy weather. It was great to get to spend your wedding day with you and Garret. It was my pleasure to be your coordinator. Best wishes on an amazing marriage.
