Alisha and her team were nothing short of amazing. They are all incredibly professional and efficient and fun. Alisha was always very responsive to our emails and texts and she made our wedding go perfectly. She even can read your mind at times and is great and anticipating your needs and meeting them. I know that our wedding was a success because of her and her team. My entire wedding party and guests also adored Alisha and her team. She impressed everyone at the wedding and made our wedding perfect.
I recently had the pleasure of working with Alesha and the De La Planning team who truly made my wedding more amazing than I could have imagined! I started working with Alesha in January and decided to go with the partial planning option. Personally, this was a a great option for my fiancé and me because we definitely wanted some help selecting vendors and have some general wedding guidance but also wanted to be pretty involved in the planning. Even though we did not choose the full planning option, we always felt like we were Alesha’s #1 priority.
Alesha embodied everything I was looking for in a wedding planner and more. For starters, she is extremely professional. She responds to emails and texts quickly and always in a professional manner. When a vendor would take a while to get back with a quote, Alesha would keep me updated with the plan and always followed up. She clearly defined roles at the beginning of planning so that we knew exactly what we were responsible for and what she would handle. Alesha was always willing to find me other options if I had concerns about what was presented or suggested, and, like everything else she did, she brought those other options with a smile. Finally, she is so detail oriented that there is not one thing you will have to worry about. I like to over communicate things and any time I thought “oh I should tell Alesha this”, she already had it covered!
My number one priority when selecting vendors was to go with people who I would want to be around on my wedding day. I am so happy I stayed true to that priority because working with Alesha, who has such an infectious personality, made for an incredible wedding day and wedding process. She brings a positive attitude and does everything with a smile. When conflicts or problems came up, she always came to me with a solution already in mind, which is EXACTLY what you want throughout the wedding planning process and especially on the big day. We had an unfortunate situation where one of the makeup artists was not able to come on the morning of the wedding. Within a matter of minutes of hearing this news, Alesha called me with a plan in place and had another makeup artist there within an hour. She reassured me that she would take care of everything and made sure we could just relax and soak in our day. Lastly, every vendor we had raved about working with her!

Maegen was everything we could have asked for and more! From the moment we started working with her we felt calm and supported every step of the process. She was super responsive which was even more helpful since we were planning our wedding from afar. She listened to our vision, kept us on budget and executed the most perfect day for us! She also gave us a ton of insight based on her experience to help us make decisions on vendors, decor, florist design, etc. We would 10/10 recommend her!
Alesha & her team is amazing! We had our wedding in October 2022 but booked her in 2020. We were uncertain about pandemic regulations at that time but we knew we were in good hands with Alesha! I’m a type A bride so definitely had a lot of ideas and wanted to implement a lot in my vision. Alesha literally pulled off everything that we wanted! We wanted so many little details that were either new to her or the venue and she was able to be our liaison with our vendors and make it happen! She was extremely organized, which we loved, and was so good at communicating! Not to mention how kind and genuine she is. We are so lucky and thankful that we got to work with her! We literally couldn’t have done this wedding without her and her team. She made the whole process so enjoyable and stress free. Hire De La Planning!!! It will be the best wedding decision!
Alesha and her team are responsive, organized, reliable and worth every penny. Her major strengths that stood out to us: trustworthiness, follow-through, setting expectations, vendor relationships, communication (easy to get in touch with/easy to use portal), design personalization, budget minded prioritization advice, day-of problem solving. I myself am a type-A overplanner, and I can say that this team thinks of literally everything. We would recommend her enthusiastically to our most treasured family and friends. I worked with Maegen as a partial coordinator. She was the best and I am so happy that I had the chance to work with her. She was always quick to answer any questions I had and offer any guidance. As it got closer to our wedding she handled everything seamlessly. There were times I had to look into things and she would offer without even being asked. I truly felt so at ease the days leading up to the wedding knowing she and the de la planning team had everything under control. Kyla was my personal bridal assistant and she was great as well. She had a great attitude and was with me the whole night for anything I needed. I would highly recommend de la planning and I cannot speak highly enough of them!
Maegen Hayes was our lead coordinator and she was amazing! So fun and easy to work with, and she took so much stress away from the planning process. The day of the wedding, everything ran so smoothly and I didn't have to worry about any of the details because I knew Maegen and her team had it under control. I would definitely recommend De la Planning, and Maegen, to anyone looking for a coordinator!
Look no further than De La Planning! I started following Alesha on social media about 6 months before I got engaged. I was drawn to the photos of the weddings she was coordinating and knew I wanted to work with her when it came time to start planning my own wedding. I'd say I reached out to her two weeks after I got engaged to ensure I locked her in.. I was not going to risk not working with her! From our initial meeting to my wedding day, Alesha was the most lovely person to work with! She is a true BOSS who made sure our tight timeline was executed perfectly while also bringing a true sense of calmness and kindness. She and her team that day (Bella & Jessica) are truly the reason why our day was PERFECT. There was not one hiccup and the day flowed so beyond beautifully. It was our dream day. Not only did my husband and I love working with her and the team, but my parents and so many friends spoke so highly of them. I loved how every time I needed Alesha, I didn't have to look far. She was always by my side, while also making sure our wedding was flowing the way we wanted it to. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, Alesha for being the most perfect wedding coordinator a bride could ask for. Wedding planning can be stressful, but not with de la planning. We worked with Maegen. She was so helpful with every little detail and made our wedding day more perfect than we could've imagined. She was always available to answer any questions and so helpful with reminders throughout the whole planning process. I would not hesitate to recommend her and her team. If you want a fun and stress free wedding planning process, look no further as Maegen and her team were so fun to work with and on beyond on top of things wedding day!
Maegen and her team at De La Planning are fantastic. We went with the Wedding Management Package with a Design Add-On since we felt a little lost in making everything feel cohesive. Maegen was extremely helpful and worked with us on creating a design board, which was perfect for sending to all of our vendors to communicate what we wanted our wedding to look and feel like.
Maegen was always quick and professional with her response whenever we had questions. She also handled so much of the communication with our vendors and the venue itself, which truly helped ease our stresses as the wedding date got closer.
The day of our wedding went so smoothly, and we have Maegen and her team to thank for it. Maegen handled everything with such grace and professionalism from the very start. Cannot recommend them enough!
Originally we weren’t planning on having a coordinator because we were having a small wedding and holding our reception at a restaurant which we already booked along with our ceremony venue and photographer. However we ultimately decided we didn’t want the stress for ourselves or anyone attending our wedding to manage the timeline or details for the ceremony. We found De La Planning through our photographer and are so happy we did. I’d reached out to a few companies to inquire on the cost for a month of coordinator and they were within our budget and after speaking with Maegen we knew they were the best choice. She was professional, communicative and well organized answering any questions we had and making sure we were all set before our wedding. Maegen really helped us enjoy our day with her calm and collected demeanor. Even if you’ve planned most of your wedding I would suggest having a professional and reaching out to a few companies to find not only the one within your budget but who’s style and personality fit yours and what you want. I would recommend Maegen and De La Planning for your wedding needs so you can enjoy it all because it really goes by so quickly.
Alesha was absolutely amazing!! She went above and beyond for us!! HIRE HER, we could not have pulled off this beautiful wedding without her help. She is super organized and on top of everything! 10/10 recommend!

I don't know how anyone could plan a wedding without the assistance of a planner/coordinator. Alesha is AMAZING and I wish the wedding wasn't over so I could keep working with her! My husband and I are always super busy with work and in the process of planning the wedding we found out we were pregnant. During those busy times of working and doctors appointments Alesha was always there to make sure we were meeting our timelines and turning things in/making payments on time and it never felt like more pressure being thrown at us. She went above and beyond at all times to take things off our plates and it felt like she always had an answer for everything! I will tell every bride I know that they NEED to use Alesha to help plan their big day!
If I could give De La Planning 100 stars, I would. Alesha and her team are incredible! I had a very clear vision of what I wanted our New Year’s Eve wedding to be, and Alesha was the perfect person to execute it. She’s more detail-oriented than I am (which I didn’t know was possible) so it meant my family and I could breathe a huge sigh of relief on my wedding day. The strap of my wedding dress even broke during our grand entrance into the reception! You know who saved the day - Alesha. She kept me calm while we jerry-rigged my wedding dress. We were able to enjoy every single moment of our NYE celebration and it’s all thanks to the work Alesha and her team put into it. For all the things we planned for (and then the things we certainly couldn’t see coming!), it felt great to be in such capable hands. Thank you x a million, Alesha!!!

Planning a wedding during COVID was definitely difficult especially with all the uncertainties, but since our first meeting with Alesha we knew she would relieve the stress that comes with planning a wedding. We had met with other planners but none were as accommodating and understanding as she was. She based her services on our needs. During our venue search appointments she always knew all the right questions to ask and was always one step ahead. She is very detailed and organized. She was awesome with communicating with all our other vendors as well. They also complimented her work to me. They all appreciated how detailed her timeline was. I can't even begin to express how amazing she was the day off! She arrived to our hotel room and was so attentive to all our bridal party and family members present. She was constantly checking in on me making sure I had something to snack on or drink since my nerves wouldn't let me eat lol. I also appreciated how she scheduled alone time for my husband and I at the reception before our grand entrance. I was able to enjoy the night with no worry because I knew Alesha would take care it! Before I knew it the night was over and she had taken care of organizing clean up. I recommend Alesha for any and all event planning services! She is patient, detailed, organized, communicative and professional. She is everything you need in a planner! :)
I can't say enough about and thank Alesha and her team enough!! Alesha is truly so talented and made our wedding day the most MAGICAL, PERFECT, and UNFORGETTABLE day we will remember for the rest of our lives. From day one, Alesha made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. She is an incredible listener, no detail gets by her, so she catches things you wouldn't think of, plans + presents according to what you want/need, is five steps ahead of you, and consistently advocating on your behalf. Alesha was THE best planner! She made the whole process so smooth. Any questions I had she already thought of and had a game plan. She is super sweet, kind, and just a joy to work with. Her attention to detail is impeccable. If there were any mishaps or inconsistencies with other vendors she was on top of it. Her assistants were also amazing and super helpful. They were so attentive and always made sure I had a drink in my hand, which was greatly appreciated :) I am still in awe of how perfect the day was and we are forever grateful to have had her as our planner!
Since our first interaction with Alesha, she was professional, attentive, and knowledgeable. She was so prompt with her response and her social media and website page reflected the attention to detail that she puts forth in her work. Once we began working on our event, we were so glad to have Alesha on our vendor team. She noticed details that simply a professional would notice. I am incredibly thankful to Alesha and De la Planning for our wedding. From the moment we had our consultation I knew I wouldn’t have to worry or stress about anything wedding-related. She helped with all of the vendors and made things run so smoothly that I was able to actually enjoy our wedding and wedding weekend. Not only did she help plan our wedding once, but she helped with two postponements due to COVID and I cannot tell her thank you enough. She is a total professional, highly communicative and compassionate. We had a small intimate wedding but still absolutely needed her expertise. Alesha missed no details and was amazing to work with. I don't know where to start! Planning a wedding is extremely stressful, and there are so many moving parts. From the groom's perspective, I am a type A person in regards to budgeting. Alesha respected that and provided spreadsheets that made every moving part very clear and precise. With the Partial Planning package, Alesha and her team made us feel like we had the Full Planning package. I would literally text her at all times of the night and boom, a response came quickly after! Before and during our wedding day, her and the team were with us every step of the way, and provided much needed guidance to us, our wedding party, and all of our guests. From budgeting and providing contacts, to design and her professional feedback on our ideas, Alesha delivered on all fronts. They waited on us hand and foot, and we were not deserving of that, they were so good to us on our big day! If this review isn't enough for you to work with Alesha and her team, then please know that my wife and I actually consider her a great friend now and meet her occasionally for dinner and drinks after our wedding was over, and will continue to do so!
In the end, my advice is to work with someone who will celebrate your love story the way you see it, and the way you want it, because you only get married once, right!?!
I have been waiting to do this properly for three years and I am so excited to share how amazing Alesha and the De la Planning team is.
My husband and I started planning our wedding in 2019 and hired Alesha in April of the same year. I will say that my husband was skeptical to hire a planner at first. In his words, “Do we need to incur an extra expense?”, well let’s just say he ate his words after our first meeting with Alesha! After having to postpone our wedding twice due to COVID, Alesha was instrumental in making sure communication was smooth. I don’t know how we would have managed to connect with all our vendors and schedule a new date not just once, but twice! Alesha was an absolute lifesaver during those difficult times, but she always had a smile on her face and assured us everything would be ok and that it would all be worth it in the end, “You will have your perfect day”, and boy was she right!
Alesha is not only professional, sweet, and willing to help every step of the way, but she understood our wedding vision from the start! Joseph and I are a product of a long distance relationship who wanted to get married in the middle of a pandemic. We crossed paths with Alesha a month after our engagement. It ended up being one of the best decisions we have ever made. Her flexibility as a planner showed even with the custom partial planning service she offered. Alesha is very organized, proactive, and easy to communicate with. With less than a year to prepare, we found ourselves in a pinch because of our long distance relationship and our unfamiliarity with the Southern California region, not to mention the looming pandemic that provided a lot of uncertainties. We had an idea of how amazing Alesha’s service was, but we found out firsthand that the past reviews were just the tip of the iceberg. Even with just the partial planning, we felt that Alesha truly wanted us to have the dream wedding we desired. Her attention to detail helped us stay on top of things before, during, and even after the wedding. She did not just provide service that met the bare minimum but went beyond than what was expected of her. She was helping us even though we had to pause planning due to personal matters and travel restrictions were still in place. We were not even sure whether our wedding would push through. She also supported all our wedding ideas; she did not force any of her preferred vendors and was open into trying new ones. She made sure that even the new vendors were good to work with. She was on top of everything, from looking for the best vendors to constantly communicating with us every step of the way. Of course, the wedding day ran smoothly and it was truly a dream. Alesha made sure that we have nothing to worry on the day of; I had a personal assistant with me the whole time which was extremely helpful especially in any kind of emergency.

Alesha was amazing! The best wedding coordinator - due to covid there was a lot of stress and pivoting that was done from postponing my wedding - like many brides I opted out for a micro wedding . With only 60~ days to plan my wedding Alesha handled everything gracefully, punctually, and not to mention she made everything so easy! From the small little details such as the color of the wax stamp on the name cards to the timeline of the wedding day , Alesha executed everything beyond my belief. She is the sweetest and most patient person ever! I was so in shock when I saw the design,decor, and set up of my wedding ceremony and reception! It was my Pinterest wedding board came to life.
I recommend Alesha for any event big or small- long time line or a quick elopement , she will execute everything with great detail , stress free bride (&groom) , and in such a graceful manner!

Alesha planned our last minute elopement in less than 2 weeks notice. She is AMAZING. Everything she planned for us worked out perfectly. She is super attentive to your priorities and she had great ideas and connections. She was such a blessing to work with.
Alesha was amazing from start to finish. Our original wedding was supposed to be up in Banff in May 2020 but then COVID-19 closed the US/Canada border. We decided we still wanted to do whatever we could to get married in 2020 in spite of everything, and so we had to start from scratch to find everything locally in Southern California. I was looking around Instagram for a new venue and saw Alesha's stylized wedding and loved the details! We went ahead with booking both the venue and Alesha as our wedding planner. Best decision, because she stuck by us and helped us find another venue when that one fell through a week after we signed the contract. Wedding planning for us (and I'm sure many other couples this year unfortunately) was full of ups and downs, but Alesha made things much smoother and was such a bright light shining the way! We are so happy we found her. She became a close friend, someone I could just shoot a text to and easily chat with! She also connected us with wonderful vendors and managed all the communication for us, planning our wedding in 3 months - florist, cake, signage, live band, etc. The intimate wedding we ended up having was as beautiful as we dreamed it could be and we feel extremely lucky to have been able to get married in 2020 after everything. After we realized our original wedding in the Bahamas had to be canceled due to COVID-19 & soon after getting burned by our previous wedding planner, I was feeling frustrated and pessimistic towards the thought of re-planning an entire wedding in a state my fiancé and I had just moved to. Because we wanted to keep our original wedding date, I knew I had to find a wedding planner that I could trust & would be able to pull off planning a new wedding within about 5 months. Luckily, a friend of a friend recommended Alesha. We spoke on the phone & I was set. She was so sweet, calming & encouraging. From then on the entire process was easy, enjoyable, and stress-free. Being new to the state & not knowing any vendors or anyone who has gotten married in Laguna, I truly put all my trust in Alesha's opinions. To say the least, she nailed my vision. I was in awe on my wedding day & still am. On the day of Alesha was always one step ahead. She knew what my fiancé and I needed before we even asked. I can not recommend Alesha enough. Her and her team are the absolute best. I can't wait to hire her again in the future for major life events.

During covid we had to navigate through ever changing restrictions. With Alesha the whole process ran smoothly. From the smallest details to the entire vision, I felt confident knowing we were in the best hands. One of the best decisions made for my wedding was hiring Alesha as my coordinator. She’s hands down the best! Super personable, friendly, easy to work with, knowledgeable, professional, and displays a willingness to help in whatever way possible. Even our guests mentioned how great of a job she did! I have so many great things to say about Alesha and her team, It's hard to organize this into a single review... but the main thing is that Alesha was without a doubt the perfect coordinator for us and we would absolutely recommend her to anyone planning their wedding.
We had about 6 months to plan our wedding, which seemed like a lot of time at first but it went by so quickly. My (now) husband and I were pretty chill with our decision making and not too picky about what we wanted. On the wedding day she had two assistants who were both wonderful and their team made sure our day ran flawlessly.
Alesha as a person:
-So sweet and friendly, I wanted to be her friend from the beginning
-Calm and organized, which is so helpful during this hectic time. No idea how she stays on top of everything
-Genuine and truly cares about bringing your wedding vision to life
-Professional and has great communication skills!
The planning process:
-We had a general idea of what we wanted, and Alesha guided our thinking to plan out the details (like layout, wedding traditions we wanted included, timing of special dances at our receptions, etc)
-Asked the right questions to my vendors, one's that I wouldn't have thought to ask
-Helped me word emails to vendors
-Double checked my contracts
-Sent me recommendations for bakers and found me a great deal after our original baker discontinued the flavors we wanted
-Helped problem solve when we were stuck on decisions (for example, when looking for reception candles she found an option that was half the cost of the original ones we were looking at!)
-Responded to all my questions promptly
-Literally planned every detail
-Created a super detailed timeline and communicated with all the vendors involved in the set up and take down of the day
Wedding day:
-I surprisingly experienced no stress on my wedding day, and was amazed with how effortlessly the day went according to the timeline. It was really fun and cool to see everything play out as we had planned
-We had a day-of rehearsal which went super smooth because Alesha explained/communicated everything effectively
-My bridesmaids and I brought a bottle of Martinelli's apple cider which we didn't think to bring a bottle opener for, but Alesha came to the rescue literally 10 seconds after we found out we needed one
-There were little changes made throughout the day, which was no problem because Alesha made it happen
-All the vendors were communicating with Alesha and her assistants throughout the day so everyone was on the same page and knew what was expected
-Alesha fixed problems that came up, and I didn't even know about them until after the wedding
-My hair and makeup artists said she was the best coordinator they've ever worked with!
Even now I think back to our wedding day and think about how lucky we are that we found Alesha. She is truly one of a kind.
