When the big day came, let me tell you - this team was non-stop. From moving furniture in our hotel suite to get the best shots, to following my husband and his groomsmen to the hotel gym for a photo pop while they were working out - they did it all and did it damn well! Reena was just fantastic about everything (she gets bonus points for also being Filipino!) - even when we were tired from taking photos neither her or the rest of the team were pushy and gave us our space to enjoy the day. Our pictures came out to more than what I had expected. Thank you to Reena, Eli and the entire Dean Michaels team for capturing such a special day!!

ther vendors we vetted! From the moment we went to their studio to check out their offerings, we felt so comfortable. We had the same feeling the day of the wedding as well, just so effortless to work with this group. The team was candid, professional of course, but also made you feel like a friend. The team made all the planning super easy and helped to take each step with us so nothing was overlooked, both for the day itself and the schedule of finances. What I liked was that all the burden of planning was not on us, they really have great experience and made suggestions that really fit well and made it a stress-free process to capture our special day. We selected 2 of the higher end packages for photo and video. Although the prices seemed like a lot at the time (we had NO wedding experience through friends or family), we quickly learned they were right on target with the market and now post-wedding, we feel it was SO worth every penny and more! The quality of photos and the attention to detail is remarkable! No detail was overlooked and we have so many different angles and options to choose from. Making our album was actually really difficult because we had so many good options! Our album and video are absolutely outstanding! For the album, we went with a designer coffee table option and let me tell you, it’s huge! I couldn’t believe how heavy it was, due to the thickness of cover and pages which really give a great feel when looking through the album. Each photo is crystal clear and the arrangement and layout they created really makes it feel like a book of art, not just a series of photos. For the video, we received a minute trailer, a 10 minute video, and roughly 5 hours of raw cleaned footage. The effects they put into these videos is incomparable! This group really creates film, not just video. The artistic creativity is easily seen in how they overlapped our MOH/BM speeches with the day, with extreme detail to the words being said and the emotions being captured and displayed. The combination truly is amazing and no dollar value on a package can truly capture that. We will forever cherish both the video and album and the experience we had on our wedding day! rey showed up full of enthusiasm and energy that made us all feel comfortable. He knew the exact shots to take, and with such ease that we didn’t even realize he was taking pictures. My wife also said her photographer Reena was exactly the same way. We received our photo links quickly and couldn’t believe how beautiful the pictures all came out. I will say the hardest thing we’ve encountered with Dean Michael’s Stuido is which pictures we will be choosing. We highly recommend them and know there’s no other studio like theirs.

Michaels is they place you with a photographer who they believe matches with your personalities the best. We requested to have a photographer who was more traditional and we got exactly that. What's also great is they have a team that specializes in the different elements of photography. So, Rich took the photos while another person edits or designs your Save the Dates or Thank You cards. Not even two weeks later, we received our weddings photos...all 2,700 of them! Rich brought along Laurie as well as an intern Ben. We got a 3 for 2 deal! Rich and Laurie were almost exact opposites of each other style wise but that is why our photos have a great mix of traditional and modern photos. We just wished we had more photos of our family (our morning wedding was pushing the time). There were also some poses we were hoping would be better then how they turned out. However, everyone was professional and you can tell they truly appreciate the art of photography. It is a great company but it is a company. Therefore, if you're looking for a more personalized one-on-one experience, Dean Michaels may not be the right option for you.

I have to say my fiance and I have the best Save the date I've seen in a while! I initially walked into Dean Michaels because my fiance and I were looking to use the DJ they share an office with. We didn't have an appointment and stopped in to see if someone was available to chat with us quickly since we needed a photographer as well. Dean himself happened to be in the office late and took an hour out of his time to sit and talk with us about how much he loves photography and weddings.
