s not do half measures; within one conversation she was fully invested in the vision and success of our wedding. We had yet to sign a contract to hire her team when she already had all our vendor contracts in hand so she could familiarize herself with them, introduce herself, and start the living document that described our wedding. It is one thing to know that as a wedding planner Debra balances the outlines and desires of multiple brides, it is another to feel that despite this, she treats you like the only bride she has all year. Communication was constant, every question was answered promptly, her attention to detail impeccable, and above all her years of experience immediately shone with her extensive vendor recommendations (which helped us narrow down the last few we were missing), as well as her suggestions and advice to help the wedding flow seamlessly. Debra is not afraid to show love for her clients, and it reflects in her work. As the day approached every worry was managed, every detailed hammered out, and every conversation ended in encouragement for the happy couple so that we may enjoy what would otherwise be an incredibly stressful planning process. Our trust in her was such that, when the weather threatened to drown the event, she was able to convince my husband that she had the weather on speed dial. Debra was very forthcoming with us from the beginning and told us that, due to a prior family commitment, she would not be able to attend our wedding, but we would work with her right-hand woman, Erica. In our meeting with Erica it was immediately apparent why Debra places such deep trust in her team. On the day of the wedding Erica not only told the weather to wait it’s turn, her and her team rearranged a significant portion of the reception’s proceedings on the fly when a Temporary Flight Restriction issued over the airspace above our venue threatened to cancel a surprise drone show for our guests, derailing a significant portion of the night’s events. By the time we were made aware of this Erica already had a solution in hand and was able to sort out all vendors into a new timeline of proceedings for the rest of the evening. The process was seamless. Without this team the fairytale wedding we envisioned would never have been a success. The team took great pains to ensure the day was a smashing success, from Jerry standing guard at the drone show and helping coordinate between them and our DJ, Lorraine keeping the groom’s incredibly white jacket pristine all night despite his best efforts, Davone running in front of horse drawn carriages to divert traffic, this team was on point all day! By the end of the evening, we could not begin to comprehend how they managed to pull it off but they did so with none of our guests the wiser. It was an amazing experience from the first email to the moment we left the venue, exhausted and happy. The day of our wedding came and went in a flash. We were advised not just by Debra, but by every married couple we know how important it is to be in the moment, to enjoy every second, to take a step back and appreciate your wedding day. Without Debra and her team, we would not have been able to experience those precious few hours with all our friends and family so thoroughly and for that we will always be grateful.
