He put us completely at ease on our wedding day. He not only sticks to the songs that you request, but he is also an expert at feeling out the crowd so that the dance floor is always packed. Dalton, our fabulous DJ at the reception, just extended the fabulous hospitality Jimmy already established. Dalton announced everything perfectly, worked so well with my wedding planner, and played the best music! He also made it clear he was taking requests at the reception which I loved! He was so sweet and professional, and I now see why when I was searching for a DJ I really couldn't find any other recommendations other than DeepBlu. If you are in the Memphis area and you need a DJ, there really is no other option! DeepBlue is the BEST!

I'd walk down the aisle, cake cutting, etc. Everything went smoothly because of the schedule provided for every detail. I used a DJ for my ceremony and reception. He provided a clip-on mic for my officiant and did an excellent job timing the songs for each part of the service. He was able to fade out when people walked down the aisle too quickly. They also provided a mic for toasts. The DJ had a good mix of music for the reception and everyone got out on the dance floor, even my older relatives. Importantly, he wasn't overly cheesy when making announcements.

xactly what to ask and what to suggest if I didn't know what I wanted. We made some changes at the reception itself, like leaving early, and he was so good at just going with the flow, and working with our wedding coordinator to make sure we didn't worry about a thing.

rest and enthusiasm in getting to know us. He spend at least an hour with us on the phone - we lived out of state - discussing our wedding and DJ needs. We loved that all his DJs are/were musicians. We figured that they would be more in tune with music and have an advantage at sizing up a crowd and selecting the right songs. As we were having a formal wedding, we were delighted that his DJs always come to work dressed in a shirt, jacket and slacks. Lastly, his drive for making sure his team delivered the best service possible appealed to us. It was so easy to hear it in his voice and in what he said. Jimmy contacted us again a few weeks before the wedding to finalize plans. We were pretty stressed and appreciated how he took it in stride that we hadn't quite gotten to answering a few of his requests....questions we really needed to answer such as what kind of music do you want, what does the DJ need to announce and when, etc.. A few days after he assigned a DJ to us, Jonathan contacted us by e-mail and by phone to introduce himself and check in on us. As my fiancée is polish and we had several polish guests, she asked Jonathan to see if he could get a few polish songs from a list she sent him. Jonathan killed it at the wedding. He was super nice, so easy to work with and had no problem adjusting to a few things we figured out and asked for on the fly. Throughout the cocktail hour and dinner, he played lots of background music and kept the volume low so that everyone could talk. He even found and played some of the polish songs my polish bride requested! It wasn't until the end of the evening when people were ready to dance that he turned up the volume. That meant so much to us as our reception had a lot of people who we thought would probably not dance. Our cocktail hour started at 6 PM and I don't think anyone started to leave until 11 PM precisely because they were able to talk! As to the dance music, he read the crowd right and kept the floor packed. We talked with Jimmy again after the wedding and reception. He was keenly interested in hearing about our experience, what we liked, what could have been better (we couldn't think of anything!). Hire Deepblu. They're easy to work with, professional, and they deliver. We'd hired them again in a heartbeat! Oh yes, ask for Jonathan to DJ too :)

you want or do not want to play and they do respect that! Justin was our DJ on the day of and he was on time, professionally dressed and read the crow and provide a great time for all my guest, nobody was seating! I love and highly recommend them!

acking. Our photographer, venue, florist and cake person told us about deep blu entertainment and that was a call that we are so happy that we made. We talked to Jimmy about all of our plans and the things that were stressing us out and he took care of things that didn't even apply to music or djing. He was so helpful from the very start! As time went on I had a ton of more things that came up. He took everything in stride and assured us that there was nothing to worry about. He assigned Jeff to be our dj which was a really good move. We danced and laughed and smiled the whole time always knowing that everything would be great and it was! It was just perfect! Call these guys now before they book up because they do! The best in town by far!

Not only did he answer emails with the speed and accuracy of a ninja, he already knew about 90% of what we could expect for our wedding just by knowing where it was and who else we hired for the other important things like our photos, flowers, video, etc. When we were assigned our DJ, we were given Blake who was as nice as he could be. He was very well dressed and a true professional. He knew where to go with the music at the right times and no one that left our reception left without telling Greg and I what a great time they had. It was everything we could have ever dreamed of! Call these guys and just let them do what they do. They will not steer you wrong and I am happy that we followed the advice of our other vendors and used these guys for our wedding. It was a split-second decision but with all the awesome things that everyone says about them we did not have to think about it too much. It was for sure worth every penny! nd was very friendly and engaging. Great to work with! Randall was our DJ for the night and he played just about everything from our request list. He kept it a little low key while people were coming in and eating and recognized when it was time to get people on the dance floor and played some fun tunes. Absolutely everyone was out on the dance floor for about the whole time and they all had a blast. There did seem to be a bit of an issue at the beginning of the night where some of the songs skipped just for a second, but that problem got resolved quickly and I didn't notice it again. The one hiccup in the evening was that my sister was going to give a speech to introduce our first dance song and the song was just played without her being able to introduce it. Other than that, everything was perfect. These guys are great to work with and I highly recommend them.

emony singer. The DJ for the day was Ryan, who had emailed and called me the week before and the day before. He checked in with me to see if I had any last minute changes right before the ceremony and that was fantastic. He kept the party going through the reception. The only thing was the garter toss and bouquet toss were forgotten until late in the reception when many of the guests were gone. Over all DeepBlu was fantastic.

He met with us twice, to make sure he knew exactly how we wanted our reception to go, and what our musical tastes were. His set ups were awesome. We got married in the Balinese Ballroom, which has two floors, and he threw in an additional set up with a separate DJ for the upstairs ballroom at no charge. The music was great and he was a charismatic and energetic MC. Highly recommended!

This is the best experience I've ever had with any company in years and the best vendor we used for our wedding by far!
