If you are looking for a great DJ, look to further! From the moment I reached out, Jimmy was so nice to work with. He answered all my questions and made wedding planning a little less stressful. The online system was a breeze to plug in all my songs. Our DJ, Randel was great to work with. He knew all the songs to get my guests dancing!

Jonathan Simpson was our DJ and truly worked so hard ahead of time to make sure our day ran incredibly smoothly. I had a phone meeting with first Jimmy the owner and then later on with Jonathan, and both made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it to be. Everyone at the wedding loved the music and raved about the flow which is all thanks to Jonathan. Their online planning system is very useful and user friendly and really helped me to fine tune my music choices and activities that required music well ahead of the wedding day. They are highly professional and I highly recommend their work!

We used Justin Jaggers with DeepBlu Entertainment as our wedding DJ and we were very happy with both our ceremony and reception music. He did a great job playing a good mix of our requests and popular music that the guests all enjoyed. He was very professional and made sure that we had fun and didn't have to worry about the music at all! The last dance was a nice surprise that we really enjoyed. Would definitely recommend hiring DeepBlu for your DJ and we thought Justin specifically did a great job!

Love, love, love. I hired them before I hired my wedding planner. She has a rule that vendors either come from her list, or you have to let her know who the vendor is before you book them so she can ask around to see if they are any good. I told her I already booked DeepBlu. She said she loved them so much she booked them for her sister’s wedding. The portal for song requests is super easy to use. Jimmy was responsive to all of my emails. As for my DJ, Jonathan was fantastic. He had a wide range music knowledge which worked great for us. An extra plus was Jonathan called about a week before the wedding to go over details. I had an idea of my recessional song starting as we were pronounced husband and wife, but I wasn’t sure how to make it a reality. I explained it to Jonathan. He was able to hit play at the exact moment I imagined. It made an extra magical moment during the ceremony. As for the reception, he knew how to keep the flow of the music, keeping all of our favorite genres.

Very professional pre-wedding consultation with the owner and easy-to-use online portal for submitting music request. The DJ contacted us before the wedding to establish expectations and answered all of our questions. I was worried about people not wanting to dance but the DJ got everyone to the dance floor. Highly recommend!

DeepBlu was by far the best vendor we had for our wedding when it came to communication. Jimmy was such a pleasure to work with. He would respond to e-mails almost immediately, was more than happy to clarify things for us, and was so flexible with and supportive of our ideas. Come wedding day we were ecstatic to have Jimmy as our DJ – he was the life of the party and everything ran so smoothly. Jimmy surprised us with a video of our ceremony that I never knew I would have since we asked our guests to turn off their phones, but this was the best surprise we could have ever gotten. My family is not one to get out and dance in public. Randel and DeepBlu fulfilled my wildest dreams by keeping the dance floor packed ALL NIGHT LONG. It was the best way to celebrate our wedding day, and I want to relive it over and over and over. Randel oversaw our ceremony music, cocktail hour, and reception, and it all ran flawlessly. I am so thankful I hired DeepBlu!

We used DeepBlu for their DJ and photo booth services, and I highly recommend you join the DeepBlu fan club. There is a reason I had multiple vendors and newlyweds recommend this company. Jimmy leaves me in awe with the speed of his communication and his positivity. The only bummer is that you are not guaranteed Jimmy will be at your wedding, but he has trained a team of professionals to prioritize your day so it’s the best ever. DeepBlu truly has your wedding day joy at the top of their wish list when they have a contract with you.

Deepblu was super great to work with. He kept in touch throughout the planning process and always responded quickly to our questions. Their online planner tool was also super nice to use. Justin was our DJ and he was amazing and so nice! He picked and played great music, especially because I didn't give him a specific vibe or anything, and had everything moving smoothly. My guests and I had a blast, would 100% recommend.

We are SO glad we went with DeepBlu for our wedding! We had the pleasure of working with Jimmy, and it was such an easy process start to finish. Jimmy was completely professional both through contact leading up to the event (always responded quickly, got back with documents in a timely manner etc) and the day-of. I used DeepBlu Entertainment for my wedding ceremony and reception in January 2019. DeepBlu was probably one of my favorite vendors. Jimmy was so responsive and answered all of my questions very quickly (within minutes!!) DeepBlu's booking and payment process was so easy and I LOVED having a client portal for song selections. Everything was so stress-free. We had Blake as our DJ and he was absolutely amazing! He did such a great job and had everyone on the dance floor the entire night. I had a great experience with this company and I highly recommend them!

My whole experience with Deepblu has been wonderful! I had Jonathan and he was nothing but professional and very kind. I ended up having to make a few changes the day of my wedding and he let me know he could do it and kept me at ease. The music was perfect for all parts of the ceremony and reception. The lights were fun and the dance floor was full once it officially opened up! They assured me they did not want me to worry one moment about them and they delivered! Jimmy and his crew are fantastic! I had great emails with him up to about a month before the wedding, then we met in person for a quick overview of how I wanted the day to go. He got me in touch with my specific DJ (Jonathan) and we figured out all the little details. He worked with me on the phone until it was perfect. They really know what they're doing and want to make sure everything goes perfectly. When it inevitably ended up raining the evening, they were able to set up inside without a hitch, and were great at helping the rest of the night go smoothly. I will definitely book them again if I ever need another DJ!

The DJ made the reception! Dalton was amazing! We kept the party exciting and fun!! We had so much fun! I worked with Jimmy and another one of their DJ’s. This company is phenomenal!

DeepBlu came in to save the day when my originally hired DJ did not work out. I have never been so happy that something didn't work out, because DeepBlu did an amazing job! DeepBlu entertainment is absolutely outstanding. The planning process was so easy and makes any Type A Bride swoon. Jimmy is so invested, responsive, and just an all around wonderful person. He was genuinely excited for my big day, and was willing to do whatever it took to make sure it went smoothly. He was continually checking in to make sure everything was how I wanted it, and communicated so well throughout the entire process. Dalton, our fabulous DJ at the reception, just extended the fabulous hospitality Jimmy already established. Dalton announced everything perfectly, worked so well with my wedding planner, and played the best music! He also made it clear he was taking requests at the reception which I loved! He was so sweet and professional, and I now see why when I was searching for a DJ I really couldn't find any other recommendations other than DeepBlu. If you are in the Memphis area and you need a DJ, there really is no other option! DeepBlue is the BEST!

Didn't have Jimmy as a DJ, and was initially uneasy about that, but Randel was a wonderful DJ. I had a LOT of requests from guests and am generally picky about music, but he took them all in his stride and the ambiance at the reception was fantastic.

Jimmy at Deep Blu is like a best friend from he start. He was one of the most helpful vendors I worked with. He could answer questions about anything to do with wedding details and responded very promptly. The DJ we had, Jonathan was also fantastic. He called to go over the final list of songs a few days before and made sure we were comfortable with any and all aspects of the first dance, entrance music, string quartet options and dance music. Jimmy was very friendly and responded to emails quickly. They made it easy to organize our music through a website. We were able to select songs by searching a database. We could select favorite dance songs & songs for specific events like when I'd walk down the aisle, cake cutting, etc. Everything went smoothly because of the schedule provided for every detail. I used a DJ for my ceremony and reception. He provided a clip-on mic for my officiant and did an excellent job timing the songs for each part of the service. He was able to fade out when people walked down the aisle too quickly. They also provided a mic for toasts. The DJ had a good mix of music for the reception and everyone got out on the dance floor, even my older relatives. Importantly, he wasn't overly cheesy when making announcements.

Jimmy at DeepBlu was amazing! Very fun to work with, super organized, and patient. His sound system was incredible - the ceremony was so clear. We had a blast dancing with our friends and family all night and got lots of compliments on our DJ afterward!

We have been writing reviews about deepblu all over the internet and this is our last one. We did this because they are the best wedding company we used for our wedding and we can't tell you all how much we love them! We got our DJ, string quartet and wedding video from them and they did it all flawlessly! They provide a website to pick out all of your songs, which made the process so easy. We gave an idea of what we wanted played at the reception but let the DJ give recommendations as well. We had the best time with Jimmy as our DJ! He was so good at letting everything flow, and he had a website set up where we could put our songs that we wanted played. It was so easy to work with him, and he's been doing it for so long, he knew exactly what to ask and what to suggest if I didn't know what I wanted. We made some changes at the reception itself, like leaving early, and he was so good at just going with the flow, and working with our wedding coordinator to make sure we didn't worry about a thing.

We have so many good things to say about our DJ, Jonathan Simpson, and DeepBlu Entertainment, owned by Jimmy Harris. We contacted Jimmy, as a highly regarded florist in Memphis recommended him to us. From the get go, Jimmy showed intense interest and enthusiasm in getting to know us. He spend at least an hour with us on the phone - we lived out of state - discussing our wedding and DJ needs. We loved that all his DJs are/were musicians. We figured that they would be more in tune with music and have an advantage at sizing up a crowd and selecting the right songs. As we were having a formal wedding, we were delighted that his DJs always come to work dressed in a shirt, jacket and slacks. Lastly, his drive for making sure his team delivered the best service possible appealed to us. It was so easy to hear it in his voice and in what he said. Jimmy contacted us again a few weeks before the wedding to finalize plans. We were pretty stressed and appreciated how he took it in stride that we hadn't quite gotten to answering a few of his requests....questions we really needed to answer such as what kind of music do you want, what does the DJ need to announce and when, etc.. A few days after he assigned a DJ to us, Jonathan contacted us by e-mail and by phone to introduce himself and check in on us. As my fiancée is polish and we had several polish guests, she asked Jonathan to see if he could get a few polish songs from a list she sent him. Jonathan killed it at the wedding. He was super nice, so easy to work with and had no problem adjusting to a few things we figured out and asked for on the fly. Throughout the cocktail hour and dinner, he played lots of background music and kept the volume low so that everyone could talk. He even found and played some of the polish songs my polish bride requested! It wasn't until the end of the evening when people were ready to dance that he turned up the volume. That meant so much to us as our reception had a lot of people who we thought would probably not dance. Our cocktail hour started at 6 PM and I don't think anyone started to leave until 11 PM precisely because they were able to talk! As to the dance music, he read the crowd right and kept the floor packed. We talked with Jimmy again after the wedding and reception. He was keenly interested in hearing about our experience, what we liked, what could have been better (we couldn't think of anything!). Hire Deepblu. They're easy to work with, professional, and they deliver. We'd hired them again in a heartbeat! Oh yes, ask for Jonathan to DJ too :)

Great time with DeepBlu Entertainment, first Jimmy is VERY responsive and makes everything easy for you at your convenience which I truly appreciate among all the stress of the wedding. You can submit request prior to the wedding for music that you want or do not want to play and they do respect that! Justin was our DJ on the day of and he was on time, professionally dressed and read the crow and provide a great time for all my guest, nobody was seating! I love and highly recommend them!

We were so happy with our experience with these guys that we are trying to tell everyone about them so we are starting here. We came into this whole thing at the start knowing that we would have to take a class or something. It was very nerve racking. Our photographer, venue, florist and cake person told us about deep blu entertainment and that was a call that we are so happy that we made. We talked to Jimmy about all of our plans and the things that were stressing us out and he took care of things that didn't even apply to music or djing. He was so helpful from the very start! As time went on I had a ton of more things that came up. He took everything in stride and assured us that there was nothing to worry about. He assigned Jeff to be our dj which was a really good move. We danced and laughed and smiled the whole time always knowing that everything would be great and it was! It was just perfect! Call these guys now before they book up because they do! The best in town by far!

These guys score a solid "10" all the way across the board with everything. We needed help with everything from the get-go and it was all just a phone call or text away. Jimmy Harris is just about the easiest guy in the world to get in touch with. Not only did he answer emails with the speed and accuracy of a ninja, he already knew about 90% of what we could expect for our wedding just by knowing where it was and who else we hired for the other important things like our photos, flowers, video, etc. When we were assigned our DJ, we were given Blake who was as nice as he could be. He was very well dressed and a true professional. He knew where to go with the music at the right times and no one that left our reception left without telling Greg and I what a great time they had. It was everything we could have ever dreamed of! Call these guys and just let them do what they do. They will not steer you wrong and I am happy that we followed the advice of our other vendors and used these guys for our wedding. It was a split-second decision but with all the awesome things that everyone says about them we did not have to think about it too much. It was for sure worth every penny! DeepBlu was a great pick for our wedding reception! Our wedding was in October. We booked them in March and they only had one spot left, so they are definitely in high demand. Jimmy was fantastic. He answered all of my questions right away and was very friendly and engaging. Great to work with! Randall was our DJ for the night and he played just about everything from our request list. He kept it a little low key while people were coming in and eating and recognized when it was time to get people on the dance floor and played some fun tunes. Absolutely everyone was out on the dance floor for about the whole time and they all had a blast. There did seem to be a bit of an issue at the beginning of the night where some of the songs skipped just for a second, but that problem got resolved quickly and I didn't notice it again. The one hiccup in the evening was that my sister was going to give a speech to introduce our first dance song and the song was just played without her being able to introduce it. Other than that, everything was perfect. These guys are great to work with and I highly recommend them.

Our DJ was wonderful and all of our ideas were received with open arms. I very highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a DJ. There is not a single wedding service company out there that has better customer service! Didn't know it was true til I saw it for myself.

Originally we booked with Acadis Entertainment, but they merged with DeepBlu. We absolutely loved working all the details out with Jimmy. He makes it so easy going. They had all the songs we wanted and were very flexible to working with our ceremony singer. The DJ for the day was Ryan, who had emailed and called me the week before and the day before. He checked in with me to see if I had any last minute changes right before the ceremony and that was fantastic. He kept the party going through the reception. The only thing was the garter toss and bouquet toss were forgotten until late in the reception when many of the guests were gone. Over all DeepBlu was fantastic.

Our wedding day was so much fun and it was "classy"! This company is always there to help when you need them and they always answered all of our questions and never kept us waiting when we needed to talk about our planning. Our dance floor was on fire all night with our fabulous DJ at the wheel! We will highly recommend these guys to anyone looking for a wedding DJ. They are definitely the best in town!

I know now why this company has such high praise now. We could not have had a better experience with these gentlemen. From beginning to end we felt like we were in very good hands. All of my emails were answered fast, my phone calls were always answered and if they weren't I got a call back within minutes. We used DeepBlu for the wedding, reception, and lighting for our wedding May 2014. The music was played non-stop and the songs transitioned seamlessly. Everyone from my 10 year old nephew to my 80 year old grandmother enjoyed the music. The lighting set the perfect atmosphere for the event. We got everything that we wanted and so much more!

The company was very professional, however our DJ was not great. He didn't play songs we asked, he only played what he wanted and no one danced. We were satisfied with the company, but not the individual DJ.

Jimmy Harris of Deep Blu saved the day for my reception. The DJ who was going to do my wedding (a family friend) backed out 8 weeks before my wedding. I started googling, and found Deep Blu was really positively rated. I called Jimmy in a little bit of a panic, and he calmed me down, and told me he would personally handle my wedding himself (even though he employees 5 other DJs). He met with us twice, to make sure he knew exactly how we wanted our reception to go, and what our musical tastes were. His set ups were awesome. We got married in the Balinese Ballroom, which has two floors, and he threw in an additional set up with a separate DJ for the upstairs ballroom at no charge. The music was great and he was a charismatic and energetic MC. Highly recommended!

I felt so thrilled to find out that we were able to have Jimmy at our wedding! I had heard many great things about his company from many of our vendors so we just had to check him out! He was always there when we needed him and his talent is so far beyond anything I had ever seen at any wedding that I had ever been to. Jimmy from DeepBlu was the DJ at my brother's wedding just 6 months before mine. I got a taste of his talent and just had to have him at my wedding! He was incredible! He is so down to earth and understanding when I had a million questions and concerns about the music. After I met with him a couple times, he alleviated all of my worry. He is so confident in what he does. The sound equipment/lights are state of the art. He performed both the ceremony and the reception. I wouldn't trust anyone else!

We had NO IDEA we would have as many people dancing and having a great time at our wedding than we did! Sunday afternoon....no alcohol....we just knew it was going to be one big hang out, but no. It was an extremely fun party with so many people dancing, we had a hard time finding a few people in the mix. What a great time!
