llroom was the perfect size for our 185 person wedding with room to spare! The waterfall area was the most perfect backdrop for our ceremony and cocktail hour. I can’t recommend this venue enough! If I could do it all over again, I’d choose Deer Creek every single time!

eather impacting so it was important to me to find a space with an aesthetic back up option and Deer Creek has it! One of the things that sold me was that their backup location for if the weather did not cooperate is also lovely. The staff was attentive throughout the wedding and everything went smoothly! I also used nearly all vendors from their preferred vendor list and they all delivered as well!

itially chose Deer Creek based on its outstanding reputation and commendable reviews, but unfortunately, our experience did not align with these positive accounts. We perceived a potential decline in the overall value of the services provided, which may be attributed to recent changes in staffing. While acknowledging that our experience may be an anomaly, we believe it's crucial to bring attention to specific issues that we had along the way. Leading up to the wedding, we were pretty low maintenance. Hailey checked in every once in a while, we had a few questions but nothing crazy. However, around 10 or 11 days out we had final guest count due to the venue along with a final invoice. Hailey went on vacation during this time and nobody in the Deer Creek event staff could be reached. We sent many emails and copied multiple people to make sure they were going to the right place and did not receive a response. The phone would ring and nobody would answer, we left voicemails that were not returned. After a few days of not getting a response I had to send an email to the general manager to get someone from catering to reach out to me and finalize the details of the wedding. Finally after we heard back from Kylee the new Catering Manger, the ball started rolling in the right direction or so it seemed. She was underwhelming with her knowledge of how the venue operated or even the wedding industry as a whole. Even the smallest task seemed to rattle her and cause her to tailspin. We had to go sit down with her one night and go over all of the mistakes on the contract, and even after that the updated one still needed corrections. It was a battle to get the contract correct and finalized. Not to mention not what you want to deal with the days leading up to your wedding. During the rehearsal, the day of coordinator was out sick so we had someone else from the venue step in. It was very clunky probably due to her inexperience leading these kind of event which is understandable, but it is a little bit of a problem to me that they do not have solidified backups to such important roles. On the wedding day itself, despite adhering to specified timings in our BEO, there was a notable absence of greeters when we (the bridal party) or when guest arrived. The day of coordinator that Deer Creek provides per the contract was not present once again that day and the General Manager Marty expected other staff that had responsibilities in the kitchen and dinning room to pick the slack up. Fortunately our parents and vendors stepped up in place of the designated coordinator but there was still unnecessary stress felt behind the scenes knowing the coordinator was not there. The coordinator was very important the day of to be the liaison between us, the venue and the vendors. My wife’s wedding dress encountered issues due to unclean floors throughout the venue, which made it extremely dirty before even reaching the ceremony. The bridal suite had cleanliness issues, including dead cockroaches and dirt under the rug. Marty the General Manager did offer to cover cleaning expenses but that is beside the point and does not really fix the issue nor did he tell us how he wanted to cover it and since stopped responding to my emails. Despite these challenges, our wedding day was ultimately memorable, thanks to the exceptional performance of our top-tier vendors who displayed extensive knowledge of the venue and the wedding industry. It's unfortunate to note that our previous communication addressing these concerns also went unanswered from Marty. In sharing our experience, our intent is not to discourage but to provide constructive feedback for the improvement of Deer Creek which they seemed to ignore and not want to grow from. We had high expectations based on the venue's reputation, and while our wedding day was special, it was in spite of the challenges faced at Deer Creek. We believe in the potential of Deer Creek as a wedding venue and hope that our feedback contributes to ongoing enhancements, ensuring a smoother and more enjoyable experience for future couples.

The wedding day could not have been more perfect, perhaps a few degrees cooler 🙂 The care and attention we received from Giselle, Lulu, and Luke and his team was outstanding. I received plenty of positive feedback from the guests on how happy they were that they did not have to wait for water to be replenished on their glasses and plates taken away when they were done eating; the team was on point, the food was delicious, and the chefs were very pleasant and attentive. Thanks again for all your hard work. I will make sure to keep you in mind for any future events.

The venue has a beautiful waterfall, outdoor arbor and lots of rooms and space to have a wedding. They also in recent years completed some renovations, so the place looks brand new. We were also told that most of our guests really enjoyed the food and loved the buffet style option. Overall we had a wonderful experience and they helped keep the timeline flowing throughout the day. We were very happy we choose them for our venue and we could not have asked for a more picturesque and beautiful venue or a hardworking and dedicated staff. They really helped us create our dream wedding and we can’t thank them enough. We would definitely recommend Deer Creek 110%. Thank you for everything!

Hailey from the beginning was extremely helpful, kept prompt communication with me via emails, zoom, phone calls and consistently mentioned the phrase "let me know if you have any other questions." I felt so at peace as she made sure to get back to me fast with answers, important information and reminders that I needed. Thank you Hailey, it was so nice to work with you! I flew in from Seattle to see the venue for the first time two months prior to my wedding for menu tasting. I guess this is the only negative thing I could say about the entire experience.. I was told I could bring up to 4 people but upon arriving we were given only two plated meals to eat.. which to me was odd tbh but the bits of food that I did try were good so it was fine. The day of the wedding was an absolute dream. I felt like royalty waiting in the bridal suite with champagne and a small cheese and fruit platter with my girls. My ceremony could not have been more perfect, I appreciated the thoughtfulness in having a plate of the food from cocktail hour waiting in the reception room (honestly I wasn't even expecting to have anything from the cocktail anyway since I knew I'd be w photographer) Due to my guests arriving late (NOT ME!!!) we began the wedding about 30 min later which messed with the schedule and order of events but Giselle was helpful in adjusting and accommodating. From the entire decoration set up and everything else I could just say I was so glad to choose this place to get married and would have not done it differently. My guests, especially my husband, was in AWE of the beauty of those chandeliers. A dream. Thank you everyone at Deer Creek!!!

rought out anything” “Not enough people serving, not enough food coming out” “ 4 maybe 5 pieces of food on the tray” “They were very scare” Most weddings I’ve attended I eat so much at cocktail hour I barely want the main course. This is unacceptable. -We received our Wedding Cake from the venue through one of their vendors. There was lack of communication as our anniversary cake was also dropped off. When we reached out to the cake vendor to pick up our anniversary cake that’s when they notified us it was dropped off same day of the wedding at the venue. NO one from the venue made any effort to contact us and let us know so we can arrange to pick it up. That cake found its way in the garbage as result. -Kids meals: we had 3 kids at our wedding sitting at the front table and according to the server they weren’t able to provide them a meal without a place card in which the kids did have place cards and 1 was even written up at the table in front of the sever however it still took 1 of my groomsmen to go to the kitchen door to see what was going on with the kids meals. - Lastly another thing which I actually just read another review about is our guest let us know afterwards that their takeaway boxes were being collected by the staff while the reception was still going on! No clue whether they were being discarded or just taken for personal consumption but they were removing them from the table. I hope this review helps the next person.

the very end of our big day they were nothing but absolutely amazing. The food, the drinks, the atmosphere. I don’t have 1 bad thing to say about the venue or the people working with us. Sarah is head of catering and Hailey is her assistant. Both very easy to get ahold of through phone or email. We had changes left and right due to cancellations and they worked with every single change without blinking an eye! Gisele was our day of coordinator and from the tasting to the end of the wedding, she was fantastic! Luc was even a super sweet guy the times he was present helping Gisele etc. Every single person we have encountered at Deer Creek was upstanding, professional, and very very nice. I HIGHLY recommend you book here!!!

ek was the perfect venue for us. The new hardwood floors they just put in really add such another level of sophistication to the ball room. Those high ceilings, huge windows, natural lighting…the venue is just gorgeous. Giselle was amazing too, she definitely kept us on track during the wedding and was running around making sure everything was going smoothly. Food was delicious but definitely not as good as during the tasting, but what can you expect when it’s prepared for 5-6 people vs 100. Service was great and we received so many compliments after the wedding. Don't judge it because it's a golf course, it's one of the best underrated venues in South Florida.

Hailey and Gisele are so incredible and patient, I never felt uneasy about anything. Gisele is a dream day of coordinator and was always there asking what I needed and made sure the night went smoothly. We last minute unfortunately had to change our ceremony from outside to inside due to the weather, but it still came out so amazing. Every guest raved about how good the food and dessert were, and they were so in love with the venue itself. All of the staff the day of was so attentive and professional as well. I truly could not have asked for a better wedding experience or venue. I highly recommend Deer Creek if you want a gorgeous view both inside and out, and such professionalism on your wedding day. 12/10

Now let me say, we got engaged at the onset of Covid, we put off our wedding for 18 months, and it was WORTH IT! The ladies, Sarah, Giselle, and Jessica were so professional, and accommodating given the changes over the pandemic era. You start off with big questions spread out month to month, and when we were calling day by day a week up to the wedding they were there. We even setup a rehearsal lunch at the venue which they made so easy for us. The girls prepped in the bridal suite, the boys cracked open beers in the locker room. While the ladies moved everything into position that we had asked to be setup. Table placements, signage, gift area, etc. If you just got engaged you have to check this place out! My wife and I absolutely loved it, they knocked it out of the park, and we would gladly have future events at the venue too!

Honestly this wedding couldn’t have been done without the brilliant help of all these wonderful ladies. The venue by the way is beautiful and the food was delicious. Unfortunately I didn’t have time for my cocktail hour, but all I hear is compliments over and over again. But I’m given an excuse to go visit for apps when I get the chance since they have a separate restaurant there.

The director was so helpful, she went the extra mile when i mistakingly order 3 linens and it supposed to be 6 (I found out I ordered the wrong amount of linens the day before wedding at 7pm). She offered her self to go and pick them up for me so I didn't have to worry about adding an extra errand to my already fully-scheduled day. Also, the service team were super nice and always making sure everything was taking care of at all times, with any request from my guests when serving dinner, bringing drinks, and constantly check on everyone if they need anything, always with a big smile :D Everything was on point. I'm so glad i have them as my event venue. The experience went smooth and I felt their support since day 1 till the very end of wedding date, all the way!

They assisted me with everything from specialty linen to what nail color I should have for my wedding day. When I toured the venue I instantly fell in love. The main ballroom with the beautiful chandeliers and now newly renovated wood floors took my breath away. We knew we wanted an outdoor ceremony and when I saw the lush gardens with the waterfall in the background I knew this would be the perfect place to get married. I got married last Saturday and all of the guests are raving about how beautiful our wedding was! Giselle, the day of coordinator, along with Sarah and Jessica, were the DREAM TEAM. They made sure my day went seamlessly. We had an issue with a family member and they handled it very professionally. The food was amazing! Giselle ensured that I had everything we needed and I actually was full on my wedding day from all of the delicious food. I can honestly say my wedding was perfect! If you want a perfect day too I highly suggest you get married here. I can’t thank the staff at Deer Creek enough!

It came out perfect. The vendors they support and recommended were also amazing like Ron wood photography and DJ, honey bunches for flowers, and Nicole from Astoria beauty. Every detail was executed perfectly. Day of coordinator was Giselle and WOW. You can go without a wedding planner because she caters to every need. She spends every second on the day of making sure every detail is perfect and exactly what you dreamed. She also ensured the bride, groom and wedding party had every drink, food and support they could have needed. Florida (I think was her name) was another staff member and acted as Giselle’s right hand and she was incredible as well, so on the ball. If this review wasn’t enough to convince you to get married there, I should share that I too am now getting married there, that’s how well it went. Ty and Gisele were both professional, kind, attentive, accommodating, everything you expect wedding venue staff to be. I am a bit of a control freak and a perfectionist, but Ty & Gisele made it so easy for me to just let go of control and enjoy my day. Everything I asked for was done to pure perfection from the biggest to the smallest detail. We had a situation at the hotel I was getting ready at and ran over an hour late but Gisele took care of it all with keeping everyone calm, organized and on schedule. The food was AMAZING, our wedding guests are all still talking about how delicious the filet & chicken was. She was extremely knowledgeable and responsive prior to our wedding. It is evident that she really enjoys her job and strives to make your big day as seamless as possible. On the day of our wedding our officiant was one hour late. They were completely great about it. Giselle brought all of the guests inside and opened up the bar. She was so calm and her professional demeanor brought peace to us as we waited. After that point, the rest of the wedding was perfect. We really appreciate how organized they were and enthusiastically recommend checking Deer Creek our as a venue for your wedding.

But above all, we feel 100000% compelled to say that Gisele was the best part of it all. Never did we EVER expect such incredible service that we received from Gisele and her staff starting way back when I booked the venue over a year before our wedding day!!! We are more than pleased.. We’re BLOWN AWAY. I would recommend Deer Creek & it’s amazing staff over and over again. They helped us thoroughly enjoy every moment on the biggest, best, and most incredible day of our lives.

It's the perfect venue if you want something that looks churchish without being in a church, and it was so nice to have everything in once place (no needing to shuffle guests around town). We had a few staff changes throughout our wedding planning process (though we did have a year and a half engagement). They organized perfectly and our day came together exactly as planned. The food was SO amazing; we had tons of compliments. The staff was great and they had a great list of vendors that are familiar with the venue. The only downside was that the reception was very hot. I think guests would have had a better time if the air conditioner pumped more air into the reception room. Lots of guests huddled around the air vents on the floor. We did have a wedding in 100 degree heat in spring with around 160 people, but it would have been nicer if the room were a comfortable temperature.

We had the Prime rib of beef, Chicken St Germaine and Salmon as entree options. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't do anything different. My husband and I are over the moon. So helpful and caring she really was awesome. Our day went so smoothly with her. She is so professional and knows what is best for you. The food was beyond great for our wedding we chose Prime Rib and Pork Tenderloin to be served buffet style and wow it was good!! We received so many compliments on the venue, food and experience in general. We are so glad to have booked Deer Creek for our wedding!!

pecial despite what I went through with the event manager Stephanie and the owner Marty. My review is based on the treatment I received dealing with those two. I booked my event 2 years in advance and was dealing with a wonderful manager by the name Bridgette. 2 months before my wedding when it was time to do my food tasting.. I found out Bridgette left. The new manager never introduced herself at all to me. 2 weeks before my wedding there was a discrepancy on what was told to me about the ceremony. Stephanie was completely rude and spoke to me as if I was a no body. She was extremely condescending! When I asked to schedule a meeting with her boss she called Marty had words with him in front of me and hung up. She said that his response was he never made and exception before and he will not start now. I said I asked you to set up a meeting with him. She calls Marty back and he refused to set up time with me and she said his response was it will be a short call. By that time I was furious about how I was being dealt with. Marty called me the next day and when I expressed my dissatisfaction on how I was being treated and that I am paying thousands of dollars to host a venue there. He said to me he host hundreds of events and he doesn’t need my money. When I asked to speak to his boss he told me there is no one above him but God!! I COULD NOT BELIEVE THAT AN ESTABLISHMENT HAS SUCH NASTY PEOPLE WORKING FOR THEM. When I asked him do you think that’s appropriate to say to a paying customer he literally started yelling at me!! I ended up hanging the phone up on him. Your wedding should be an enjoyable time in your life and these 2 ppl made my wedding HELL! I literally did not want to having a wedding anymore. Marty, you may host hundreds of events but if you do not change your attitude and you staff attitude that number can quickly change! This place does not deserve to have someone like Giselle. You can tell she really cares for her job and enjoys the type of work she does. Hopefully, Marty as the owner changes how he deals with his customers and trains his staff better although I believe he is to arrogant to see the flaws. Beware!! The new managers are nice when you are looking around but once you are locked in there attitudes quickly change or maybe its because they want certain clientele there now. If these two were there when I first booked I would have gladly taken my business some where else!

They didn't take the time since they knew the wedding was far out but as the date got closer, they were much better. The email transaction was mainly dealt by Stephanie, she is sweet as can be, but it was not the easiest time to communicate with her via email, a lot of mistake and miscommunication. It was much easier when met with her in person. The day of coordinator, Giselle. she is PHENOMENAL. She knew her stuff! She made sure day went smoothly, took care of everything and didn't miss a beat. She went as far as making sure we had the bow for our dog who was the ring bearer. She had it on her clipboard!!! We LOVED her.
