From the first meeting where she joined us at the venue, I just knew Jyl was the right fit for us. Her calm and levelheaded demeanor is the constant reassurance that any stressed couple needs. Jyl responded to my one line questions, paragraphs, peppered thoughts etc via email (easiest for me during work hours) within minutes every single time. She communicated with me where it was most convenient for me, wherever that was and promptly. My venue coordinator still hasn’t answered an email and my wedding is over, this is where you will find the best decision you can make is hiring Jyl. Every other vendor lit up when I told them I was working with Jyl, her reputation on Cape with other business owners is top notch I loved that! I don’t think one truly understands the impact of a wedding planner and coordinator on your side in every moment of the planning and day of. I wasn’t anxious one bit and not worried at all that things would come together. It is so so easy to trust Jyl with everything. I handed over my fears and worries and never thought about them again. It was the most relaxed version of myself, someone who naturally will take the lead, to have no need or desire to do anything but live in the moment. Hire Jyl, I would do it again 10x over I will always feel in-debt to her for bringing our vision to live in more ways than anyone can see on the outside!

Our ceremony was outdoors, and there was a chance of rain, but she was in touch all morning and on-site for setup and gave us good advice for planning purposes. Leading up to the event she coordinated all the vendors, led the setup of all our decor and ceremony seating. And during the wedding, she kept us on track to make sure we did everything. And last but certainly not least, she coordinated all the cleanup and made sure that we had all of our possessions/ decor/ etc. This is something that was invaluable, as it meant we didn't have to worry about anything during the wedding :) Thank you, Jyl! It was wonderful and helpful having her take the reigns in connecting with our other vendors and keeping us on a perfect schedule the day of the wedding, so we had time to really enjoy ourselves. With a lot of moving parts, we always felt that we were in good hands with her and the team. One of my favorite aspects of having Jyl onboard was being able to take all of our decor (signage, polaroids, matchboxes, etc.) and having it perfectly set up without any direction at the venue.
