Defiance Ridge Vineyards

Defiance Ridge grounds are beautiful and the lake side wedding set up was perfect. We visited Definance Ridge multiple times before the wedding and had the rehearsal dinner there and every time we had a great time. The guests all raved about how good the food and drinks were and the fireworks over the beautiful venue were magical. The setups inside at the tables were beautiful. Hannah did a great job facilitating with our wedding coordinator and the other vendors and everything went smooth. She did extra accommodations for the wedding party and families for some special circumstances that made everything go so smooth. My 96-year-old Mom who recently had a dental plate installed and they worked with her so she could have a meal she could enjoy. There were other similar requests. She made accommodations for a photo booth close to the dance floor, set up the timing of the fireworks, worked with the band so they could have inside music and outside music for all the guests, provided the perfect outdoor location at the lake for the ceremony, and on and on. Any special requests we had; Hannah tried to accommodate. I would highly recommend if you want a beautiful outdoor wedding and the reception all together to have your wedding at Definance Ridge. We will remember the wedding forever. Thank you Hannah and Defiance Ridge Team! You truly made the wedding so special!

We absolutely loved our experience at Defiance Ridge from the first time we went there. We were always greeted by name and treated very well. Even though they had a change of wedding coordinator in the middle of our engagement they were professional, on time, aware of all of the details, and so willing to accommodate our requests! There wasn’t a beat skipped with the new wedding coordinator. Hannah was wonderful and worked so hard to make the final planning process easy. They were able to make small changes quickly when needed and it never seemed like an inconvenience to them. Most importantly, the staff was seamless on the day of our wedding! Food was served quickly, it was delicious, the staff was so eager to please us and our guests. We absolutely loved our experience with Defiance Ridge and hope to be able to attend a wedding there soon!

Our wedding at Defiance Ridge Vineyards was truly magical! Hannah and her team did an amazing job! Hannah was easy to work with and super responsive. Our wedding went off without a hitch. We took advantage of the setup/take down package and it was well worth it. They set everything up great, and it all looked beautiful. The whole staff was amazing, friendly and incredibly helpful. We couldn't have asked for a better venue!

We had our dream wedding a couple weeks ago at DRV!! The venue was prefect and beautiful to make my wedding dreams come true! I could not have asked for a better venue. Lauren and the staff were amazing and so helpful! They help everything run so smoothly. The food was amazing and everyone enjoyed it. Highly recommend this for venue for wedding!

Within minutes of visiting Defiance Ridge, my husband and I knew this was the place we had to get married. Lauren, our coordinator was absolutely AMAZING and made our day everything we had dreamed and more. They even catered to our special meal request to have breakfast for dinner and it was a huge hit with our guests. Even with a little sprinkle of rain, the team was able to get our ceremony set up outside and started just in time for a rainbow and sunset. If you have it in your budget and want to surprise your guest I would highly recommend doing the fireworks. It was such a special moment and the display was magical (and a perfect photo opportunity). I seriously can’t say enough good things about this place and the people. Throughout the whole process everyone we talked to was professional and friendly. The whole venue is gorgeous and has the perfect atmosphere for a wedding. The only thing I wish they could do is figure out how to reverse time so we could relive it one more time. BEST PLACE EVER! So happy we decided to have our wedding at DRV, it was beautiful yet affordable. Michelle is AMAZING! She can get it all done just how you want. She met with us for a planning meeting and then again for the dinner tasting and was so helpful! Easy to get in touch with and answers your questions promptly!

Our wedding was beautiful and Michelle was absolutely the best coordinator ever. So many times I thought for sure we were missing a detail or running behind, but Michelle was right there to help plan everything out before and during the event. Top of the line service. Thanks for making it great!

Michelle was very detailed and organized in helping us plan our day. She was so flexible and helped the whole event run smoothly. We were there on a cold day in November with about 150 guests. The venue was plenty warm enough, the lighting was perfect, and the dance floor was big and open. The transition from the open winery for the public until 5pm to our reception at 6pm was seamless. The staff was gracious and helpful the whole night including helping us take down our decorations at the end. The food was delicious. I would recommend Michelle and Defiance Ridge to anyone looking to plan a beautiful wedding any time of year.

Have your wedding at Defiance Ridge Vineyards!! One of our favorite things about having our wedding at Defiance Ridge was the ability to use different parts of the property for different parts of the day. Their property is beautiful in any season. This was our first choice of venue and we were so happy to be lucky enough to get a date when we wanted. Everything was beautiful. Michelle was absolutely amazing throughout the whole process, and she really made the day seem perfect. The food and wine is fantastic as well. Highly highly recommend if looking for a vineyard wedding!

What an amazing place!! We recently got engaged and then married at Defiance Ridge. Everything was perfect from beginning to end!! The venue was gorgeous, drinks were great, and the food was phenomenal!! All of our guests raved about the food. Michelle, the event coordinator, is a gem!! She knows her stuff, was easy to communicate with, and made my day super smooth! Michelle made sure to connect and guide all of my other vendors like DJ, photographer, etc. I didn't have to think about anything the day of except just having a great time. They take care of everything at the venue from food to drinks to linens and chairs. This made wedding planning such a breeze so that we didn't have to book individual vendors. We definitely picked the perfect place and it will be a special place to continue to visit in the future! Highly, highly recommend!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If I could give DRV 10 stars, I would. We viewed two other wineries and upon going to DRV, we both walked out saying, that's the one. We love the ambiance, the views, the ceremony area and the reception space. The food was AMAZING and we received so many compliments from our guests regarding how good it was! The bar service was also on point. Several of our other vendors even commented on how accommodating and friendly every DRV teammember was while they were setting up. Last but not least, we had such a positive experience working with Michelle, the wedding coordinator. She gave us great advice, was always available for any and all questions throughout the planning process (never making us feel bad for asking so many questions), and was a great point person to help us navigate everything leading up to the big day. She is seriously amazing and DRV is lucky to have her. We would absolutely recommend DRV for your wedding ceremony and reception, or just the reception. We could not have asked for a more perfect day and that's thanks to the team at DRV.

Defiance Ridge was the first (and only) venue we looked at. We knew right away it would be perfect. Michelle, our coordinator, was so helpful in the planning process and when it came to the day of. I knew I didn’t have to worry because she is so great at her job. I had planned for an outside ceremony, but we had a cold day in March, so we were able to have a beautiful ceremony inside and Michelle and her team quickly flipped the room. We got so many compliments on how good the food was, and how much fun our guests had at the reception. I couldn’t imagine a better venue. Everything was perfect!

Best Wedding Venue Ever! The whole experience was so amazing we got married there twice! The first one was a super small last minute ceremony because of covid but we had a big celebration at the same place the next year. The event coordinator, Michelle, was so helpful and really made us feel like we were in good hands. The winery is beautiful and there are so many great places to take pictures. The food was so good it was hard to choose what to put on the menu for our events. I loved the indoor-outdoor space that was perfect for the uncertain weather in October. Everything was amazing I highly recommend getting married there or just going on any other day for great wine and food!

Defiance Ridge Vineyards is an absolutely beautiful place to have your wedding. Michelle is amazing at her job and answered any questions that we as a couple had and even ones that our parents had about the process and the venue. She made sure we understood everything and had all our bases covered. Additionally, because of COVID we chose to reschedule from October 2020 to Nov 2021. We were extremely lucky she had dates available, and we were so grateful that she was so flexible with our decision to push it back. She even stayed part of the night to make sure everything was running smoothly! The food was also absolutely amazing, everything we tasted at the menu tastings was delicious it made it hard to choose! They were luckily very accommodating with the food menu offering vegetarian, kids, and were sensitive to the food allergies of our guests. Everyone loved the food and our signature cocktail, a sangria, was a big hit too! The room is super spacious with the fireplaces on either side of the room, which kept things toasty even in November. Additionally, she allowed us to take some beautiful pictures on the property beforehand! Everyone was talking about how beautiful everything was! Everything was simply perfect! My only wish is that the night would have lasted longer because it seemed like the night just flew by!

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Defiance Ridge Vineyards. This was only the third venue we toured and we knew immediately we wanted to get married here. It’s beautiful as it is, the food is impeccable and the staff was extremely friendly. Big shout out to Michelle, the wedding coordinator, who went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect! We can’t thank them enough. All our guests seemed to have had an amazing time and enjoyed the food, drinks and atmosphere.

I don't have enough amazing words to describe this day. Michelle and her team accommodated every single one of my needs. The bridal suite was amazing and she accommodating letting us in early so we could finish in time. Michelle was great to communicate with via email. She gave great input when needed that helped make things easier with the photographer and DJ. Michelle made me feel at ease through out the whole day and into the night. She knew where to find people, when we needed to be certain places and how to make sure things ran smoothly. The venue was absolutely gorgeous. We had access to use the whole vineyard for pictures and Michelle made sure to have the staff clean the leaves from around the property. The food was absolutely INCREDIBLE. Days after the event, guests were messaging my husband and I letting us know how amazing the food was. The bar was staffed well and the wine was a hit as always. I would get married here 1000x over. Michelle even worked with my mom to surprise my husband and I with a firework show. This is the best venue and I am so happy I got to spend the best day of my life at my favorite place. We are so very thankful for the staff at Defiance Ridge.

My daughters wedding was everything she dreamed of at DRV !The venue staff were top notch! The food was delicious! I felt like I could really enjoy myself knowing they had it all covered! It’s a beautiful place and I highly recommend!

Wow! Just wow!! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to have our wedding! From start to finish, this venue and it's AMAZING coordinator Michelle, made our wedding everything we could've wanted and MORE! She is professional and knows exactly what she is doing! It made my life so much easier when I knew Michelle was in charge and she would do nothing short of an incredible job! This venue location is absolutely gorgeous!! Talk about amazing photo opportunities, we were able to have our first look IN THE VINEYARD! It was so romantic and the pictures were incredible! Having an outdoor (but covered) venue is perfect when your worried about planning a wedding during COVID! The breeze on the dance floor in the evening was so perfect! Michelle and her staff will make your day everything you've dreamed of for a perfect winery wedding!

DRV- where do I begin. The grounds are already beautiful- but the way Michelle and her team transformed the venue to our gorgeous ceremony and reception area was like a dream. Michelle is attentive, easy to get ahold of, kind, and one of the most hard working women ever! She and the rest of the DRV team truly make it their goal to ensure each bride and groom have the wedding of their dreams. ALSO- wedding food is usually so-so, but even a month later people are telling us how amazing the food was at DRV during our reception. To any bride considering DRV- please believe me when I say it’s worth it!! Ps- opt for their fireworks display! It was a huge hit!!

She's also enjoyable to work with! We had a lot fun in the planning process and working with DRV. We were overwhelmed with the table arrangements and all the options available, but Michelle helped SO much. Every time we reached out with questions, she had multiple solutions. The venue is absolutely beautiful, it had everything we could possibly wanted. The view and setting is picturesque, all of our guests were impressed! As we're getting our pictures back, I'm just stunned. The reception area is beautiful, the open sides allow for views of the grounds, the string lights give the best ambiance, and they were super flexible on the layout and setup of the area. The food and drinks were incredible. Numerous guests keep reaching out to us to tell us that this was the best wedding food they've ever had! Again, I cannot say enough positive things about Defiance Ridge. It was the setting I've dreamed about for our wedding and I'm just so grateful for the entire experience. We will definitely be back as guests and will be celebrating all future anniversaries here!

We spotted this vineyard while driving to a hiking spot during COVID quarantine – I half-jokingly said it was pretty and that we should look it up to see if they do weddings and I'm so glad I followed through! I don't know whether or call it luck, fate, or something else, but we had the most perfect wedding here. The staff – especially Michelle – are absolutely amazing. Everyone is so sweet and helpful. Wedding planning and the big event itself were a breeze in big part because of them. Michelle answered all my questions and was there the day of to make sure everything ran smoothly. On top of that, you really get it all at Defiance Ridge: gorgeous views, the ideal outdoor ceremony spot, and an air-conditioned reception space that lets you keep that outdoor feel while staying cool in the summer. Our wedding happened to be on a record-breakingly hot day in June (I think it hit 100) and everyone said the reception was great. And the food! Our guests were so impressed with their meals, everything at Defiance Ridge is delicious. Michelle and the kitchen staff are super accommodating of dietary restrictions. Plus you get to take advantage of all the delicious wines and craft beers. It's also LGBTQ+ friendly for any other same-sex couples looking a venue. Everyone on-site was extremely welcoming and happy to host an event with two brides. I genuinely do not have one bad thing to say about the place!

Defiance Ridge Vineyards was the perfect location for my wedding and reception. The outside and inside areas are very spacious and beautiful. There was plenty of room for our guests to roam but the dining room was still intimate enough for a perfect reception. The food was delicious and the bar was able to make my singature drinks without a problem. The best part about DRV is Michelle, the event coordinator. She is kind, flexible, and great to work with. I am so happy she was there to help me along the way and the day of, especially having to plan through a pandemic and needing extra questions answered. I highly recommend DRV as a wedding venue. I had the perfect night there and wouldn't change a thing!

First of all, my husband & I want to say thank you to Michelle & the Defiance Ridge Vineyards team for making our wedding reception spectacular! We got married on 4/10/21 and only have great things to say about our experience with Defiance Ridge Vineyards. Michelle, the wedding coordinator, was very sweet & helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process & on our big day. She listened to our requests, understood the vibe we wanted for our wedding reception & helped our wedding day go smoothly. She paid attention to the details that mattered to us. The weather was rainy/cold/yucky, but none of our guests noticed because they were having such a great time. We had planned fireworks & Michelle was flexible throughout the evening to ensure we got the firework show we wanted despite the bad weather! The firework show was awesome & definitely worth the money. Our guests loved it & it was a special moment for my husband & I, not to mention the awesome photo op! Additionally, we got so many compliments on the food at the reception. So many of our guests said it was the best wedding food they ever had. Also, the alcohol selection was more abundant than at a typical wedding venue, which we appreciated. With the upgraded package, we had all domestic beers, seltzer’s, craft beers, 6 wine choices & all top shelf liquors. There was something for everyone! My husband & I are so happy we chose Defiance Ridge Vineyards as our wedding reception venue. We had so much fun & we know our guests did too! The big fireplace, the indoor/outdoor feel, the string lights & the big dance floor were the details that contributed to the wedding reception we always imagined. We made great memories & will talk about this night for years to come. We would definitely recommended Defiance Ridge Vineyards for anyone looking for a beautiful, fun & spacious venue. Breathetaking views, beautifully decorated, and just a dream.

Defiance Ridge Vineyard was the perfect place to have our wedding. The views are breathtaking, the staff is top notch, and the food is some of the best I've ever had! The wedding coordinator, Michelle, is a PRO! She helped guide us through all the decisions before our special day, and made the day of the wedding flow so easily. She was on top of every detail, and was very accommodating to our special requests.

I do not think I could recommend this venue enough! It is a STUNNING location and Michelle is amazing! She is so accommodating to your specific needs. She and her team did such an amazing job setting things up that day. I got so many raving reviews about the location and venue from my guests, as well. There are many options within the venue to have your reception (inside, outside, or both). It was truly perfect!

Our venue choice could not have been better. The setting is gorgeous and clean, the employees & Michelle were polite and professional & really went above and beyond! I have already recommended the venue to my friend who’s engaged and they picked this venue for their wedding as well. From the moment I walked into the place, I knew it had to be our venue. The price, location, the way it's already decorated made the decision so simple! On top of that, Michelle made it so easy! She was prompt, responsive, SO SWEET, and when we would pop in for lunch, she made sure we were taken care of! The day of is always crazy busy, and that girl worked her tail off! She makes sure everything is set up and perfect. I am impressed with the services offered, the fireworks display, the food (mashed potatoes are so amazing), and the professionalism. I would do it all over again if I could! Thank you Michelle for everything you do for us brides!!!!!!

Defiance Ridge did a FABULOUS job hosting our wedding reception. The food was phenomenal. Michelle was AMAZING to work with. She is very responsive with communication. The layout of the venue is so spacious! I would highly recommend booking this venue.

Defiance Ridge was truly an incredible experience for our wedding on 8/8. The venue, ambiance, and atmosphere are unparalleled, and we were certainly picky in our selection! The inside space was perfectly appointed and channeled the best of Chip and Joanna Gaines vibe. The outside view was breathtaking with the vineyard and extensive mature gardens. Most importantly, the even coordinator, Michelle, was phenomenal. Unfortunately, our wedding had to move from 5/16 due to the pandemic and Michelle was such a source of comfort through the panic. She actively worked to find an alternate date for us and immediately reached out when a cancelation came through. Michelle was thorough, detail oriented, and agile. We had a firework show (all guests agreed this was the highlight of the night) and Michelle was diligently watching the weather and adjusting the timeline to ensure everything went off without issue. She’s a jewel!! Food was delicious, service solid... can’t say enough about this venue!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful Defiance Ridge Vineyards is! My husband and I knew very quickly that this is where we wanted to have our wedding. She's will make sure your day is perfect, and give you all the advise and guidance you need to make the right decisions for you and your day, and make sure everything goes off without a hitch. The grounds are beautiful, there are so many places to get amazing pictures! Not only did I have my wedding here, but my bachelorette party started here. Our friends and family that attending the bachelorette could not stop talking about how wonderful it was and how excited they were for the wedding! Our wedding was in November and our guests are still talking about it and many of them have been back! I would recommend DRV for any event, but especially a wedding!

We recently got married at Defiance Ridge on 12/14/19. Our Event Coordinator, Megan, was amazing. The staff was very quick to get all of our food served. The bar service was also quick and I got so many compliments on how good the drinks were. If you are looking for a beautiful and spacious venue this is the way to go. Also, this place was budget friendly especially for a winery. We had a blast and everything went so smoothly.

Michelle, the Event Coordinator, made planning our ceremony and reception at Defiance Ridge Vineyard so easy. She gave my husband and I such a confidence in the venue. Ryan and I like many couples had many questions and Michelle answered all our emails very punctually and made time to meet and talk in person too. But not only was Michelle great during the planning but her and the rest of the staff at Defiance Ridge went above and beyond on our actual wedding day. Everyone was very attentive and Michelle worked like secret ninja behind the scenes. One of the great things about Defiance is there ability to have a Plan B or indoor option for inclimate weather. We did have to decide to go with our Plan B the morning of the wedding due to rain. And the switch went off without a hitch. Many of the guest even commented on how swiftly the staff changed the space over. My husband and I would definitely recommend anyone in the market for a wedding venue to check out Defiance Ridge Vineyard. Staff was amazing to work with, the scenery is beautiful,and the food was amazing.

We worked with Michelle Serles and she was outstanding!! I am the mother of the groom but was very involved in the wedding planning and we made lots of changes that Defiance Ridge had never done before but they made it happen for us! Everyone's personality was amazing from day one to the day of the wedding. And the weather was awesome:-)
