Delamar West Hartford

We had our rehearsal dinner at the Delamar West Hartford and could not recommend it more highly. Erin and the team were so easy to work with. The food was fantastic, and the room + outdoor area were perfect for an intimate vibe during the dinner, and a much larger "welcome drinks" later that evening. We also had almost all of our wedding party stay at the Delamar, and everyone had a great stay. Diana was a great partner as we planned everything, and the team at the Delamar went above and beyond to make our stay feel very special. We felt very lucky to the Delamar play such a big part in our weekend!

We were so thrilled with our wedding at the Delamar this summer! From our first meeting with Erin to our wedding day, I always felt like she had thought through all of the details. The ballroom and dance floor were the perfect size for our 165-person wedding. We loved the combination of indoor and outdoor spaces for cocktail hour and beautiful décor of the hotel. Our tasting was incredibly delicious and it gave us peace of mind to walk through the wedding day with Erin and Debbie. It felt like we were their only priority and we never felt like a burden checking in on the smallest of details. They were able to customize the menu design for us to resemble our invitation and the signature drinks were a big hit. Erin and Debbie really went above and beyond to make our day stress-free, from greeting us with our signature drinks as we arrived for the reception to setting us up with a private plate of delicious hor devours at the start of cocktail hour. The rest of the staff was also very attentive and friendly. It was incredibly helpful that they set up and took down all of our décor and brought our gifts to our room at the end of the night. We ended the night with an afterparty at the tavern, and Debbie walked around handing out slippers to anyone with sore feet! Overall, we could not have been happier with our choice of the Delamar!!

More than a month later, my friends are still raving about our daughter's wedding reception that was held at the West Hartford Delamar. It was unanimous among our guests that it was the best food they had ever been served at a wedding. What's more, the Delamar takes your guests entree orders at the table, no choosing your entree a month in advance, very unique. The dessert, which is included, was absolutely lovely. A trio which included chocolate, creme brulee and a fruit sorbet; wonderfully delicious. What makes the Delamar so delightful, is that it is a beautiful hotel with staff that go above and beyond to make your experience at the hotel memorable, and dare I say perfect. Our wedding was in December, so the hotel was beautifully appointed for the Christmas holiday. Erin and Debbie made the process of planning the reception pleasurable and seamless. The tasting that is offered for the wedding menu selection is fabulous, an event in itself. While the bride and groom lived in Connecticut, 90% of our guests traveled to Connecticut for the wedding, most from Chicago. Consequently, we had a significant room block, which Diana was instrumental in helping us navigate. Everyone who stayed at the hotel said it was one of the nicest, if not the nicest hotel they have ever stayed in. Such an elegant venue, offering personal services and wonderful amenities. We were just so pleased with our experience. You simply can't go wrong in choosing the West Hartford Delamar.

We had our wedding at the Delamar this past fall and it was the most wonderful venue. The site planners and event staff were incredible. They were so accommodating and ensured we had the best day. Not only was the venue and staff spectacular, but the food/catering from the Delamar was also incredible. We cannot say enough wonderful things about the venue and highly recommend it.

Our daughter had her wedding at the Delamar Oct. 10, 2021 - it was absolutely fantastic! We were is great hands with Erin, Eunice and Janet. They are phenomenal, first class! We received many compliments on everything at the Delamar; beautiful venue, gourmet food, and friendly, competent staff. Shout out to Faith and Dom! Thank you for making it an incredible day!

We just had my daughter’s wedding at the Delamar two weeks ago. Not only did the hotel do an incredible job but Erin was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Erin works with you to make sure everything is perfect and doesn’t stop until it is. We can’t say enough wonderful things about Erin or the Delamar!

The Delamar was AMAZING. Erin and Eunice were our coordinators and they were so helpful. Any questions or concerns I had they were right there to help me. They were also super accommodating and organized. Fergy was an amazing bartender and the rest of the waitstaff was exceptional! I got so many compliments from my guests about how awesome the staff working our wedding was. The food was amazing as well (passed apps, dinner, everything!) the venue is absolutely beautiful as well. Thank you so much for everything! We can’t wait to come stay and keep the celebration going :)

This past weekend we were able to celebrate my daughter and son-in-laws marriage. We originally had the wedding set for last spring, but due to the covid-19 we needed to reschedule. The Delamar was a wonderful venue for this long awaited celebration. Erin Neagle, director of catering, helped us every step of the way. She was always quick to respond to our emails and very easy to communicate with. Erin navigated us through the event seamlessly. The entire staff of the Artisan and Delamar were pleasant and respectful to all of our guests and I felt they were truly happy to support us throughout the day. I will say they went above and beyond to make our weekend spectacular. We enjoyed the freedom our guests felt being able to stay in this luxurious space. The guest rooms were beautiful and allowed everyone to spend extra time together as we sat by the fire pit following the reception or had breakfast together the following day. Thank you!

The Delamar / Artisan team made my wedding day so much more beautiful than I could have imagined! After my big wedding (being held elsewhere) had to be cancelled due to COVID, I was looking for a venue that could facilitate a beautiful day for a group of about 25. The team put as much care into my event as they would have for a large one. Erin not only helped me plan a fantastic cocktail hour / lunch, but was extremely responsive to my many detailed questions and very accomodating of my requests. My guests raved about the food, venue and staff the day of the wedding. (The hotel rooms and staff are also wonderful!) If you are considering booking the Delamar for your wedding, just do it as you won't regret it.

You cannot even begin to imagine how amazing both your wedding and the whole planning period leading up to it will be if you choose The Delamar West Hartford. When we first visited The Delamar West Hartford, we were only thinking about having a cocktail hour there, as we were getting married in Elizabeth park and planning an outdoor ceremony and reception. When we saw their wedding packet, however, we truly fell in love with the food menu, and completely changed our minds. When we got to the tasting, it only confirmed that we made a great decision in switching. It was a beautiful experience for us, and our parents, with everything prepared as beautifully as it was on the day of our wedding. For months after the wedding, guests have continued telling us how spectacular the food was at every course, and how amazing the service was from all staff. What was really most memorable for us, however, was how wonderful Angie was all throughout our wedding. We had a great team leading us through all the details and logistics of the wedding day, but when it comes down to it, there's always one more thing you need. I never had to struggle to find Angie when we had a question, and she was there to support us with everything we didn't even think about needing (e.g. an appetizer plate while we were greeting everyone!)

Planning a wedding at the Delamar is an absolute breeze. Angie helped us plan the whole day and was always available to answer our questions. Her onsite coordination the day of resulted is everything going flawlessly. Our guests raved about the food and beverages and how beautiful both the outdoor and indoor spaces are. As the bride I greatly appreciated that a waiter was by my side most of the cocktail hour to ensure I was able to take advantage of the hors d’oeuvres we selected. Thank you Delamar!

We recently got married at the Delamar in December and there's not one thing we would change. We live right in West Hartford but knew we would have a lot of out of town guests, so it was really important to us to make sure that we picked a venue that our guests would like since they would be spending a weekend there. From the moment we first contacted the Delamar about our wedding date until the day of, everything went extremely smooth. At our first meeting with Erin to look at the venue, I had about 50 questions, which she answered right away and we gave a deposit at the end of that initial meeting - that's how much we loved it! Not only is the Delamar right in the center of Hartford, which is ideal for many reasons (rehearsal dinner, having out of town guests stay that can make use of the downtown, etc), but it's absolutely beautiful inside and out. We considered going to Elizabeth Park for pictures but ended up staying at the Delamar and doing all of our pictures outside the ceremony room and in the garden and they came out stunning. It is also extremely convenient that they have a retail shop for a Florist right in the lobby because we ended up going with that florist (Lane and Lenge) so all wedding planning ended up being very easy and convenient as everything was in one spot. Throughout the process, the entire team was beyond friendly and helpful - we had a ton of questions between wedding day decor, extending the room block, etc, and all of our interactions were very pleasant. We never had a meeting or email that left us frustrated or like we weren't getting exactly what we wanted. The tasting was a pleasant surprise - I was fully expecting it to be something with another group of couples, but our tasting was just us two with our wedding coordinator. We asked to make some small changes to a couple of the items we chose and it was no issue. And my husband asked for his meal to be different from the meals we chose to be on the menu that night and they had no problem accomodating that! He also asked for specific beers to be brought in and they were also able to accomodate that request - our guests even commented on the great drink selections after the wedding! I am sure that I am missing many other examples of how the entire staff at the Delamar went above and beyond from the first time we went to see the venue to the day of our actual wedding - but we really cannot say enough good things. I HIGHLY recommend this wedding venue - from management & the staff, to the location, to how picturesque it is - it is a perfect place for your wedding day!

The best wedding ever! The Delamar West Hartford completely blew away our expectations! The planning process was seamless, the staff was professional and eager to please, the food and presentation was amazing! The hotel is elegant and the rooms are top-notch. We would highly recommend this venue. Thank you so much for making our night the most memorable of our lives!

We got married at the Delamar in August 2019, and had a wonderful experience from start to finish with the staff at Delamar & Artisan. Cieara & Chloe were the best part of our experience. Cieara answered every question I had throughout the planning process, and helped to bring my vision to life. Chloe was a wonderful day-of resource, who worked tirelessly on our day to make sure everything ran smoothly. These two acted as our own private wedding coordinators without having to hire one independently, which was wonderful. The waitstaff and bartenders did a great job as well. My husband and I had a dedicated attendant throughout the night, Tiffany, who knew our drink orders and made sure we ate! Great service and full drinks all night long. Amanda & Samantha helped us with logistics towards the end of our planning and afterwards as well, related to billing, catering and accommodations, and were very friendly and easy to work with. The venue and hotel itself is modern and beautiful. We had an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, and our reception in the ballroom. I never envisioned getting married in a hotel, but the Delamar is different, as a boutique hotel with personal touches. We received so many compliments on our wedding day, and we know that the Delamar was a huge part of it. We have recommended it already to friends getting married in the future.

My daughter & son in law were married at The Delamar West Hartford last Saturday. It was absolutely everything we had hoped for and more! You will NOT be disappointed if you have your wedding here. We researched a few other shoreline locations but nothing compared to The Delamar - both in appearance and value. We worked with Cieara primarily throughout 13 months of planning and she is FANTASTIC. She responded to our many emails promptly and always was helpful and cheerful. Anything we needed the Delamar was able to provide. The service is amazing. The room block went smoothly and all our guests were in awe of the beautiful hotel and amenities. Everyone commented on how nice and accommodating the staff was. Amanda, Gabby & Arzeena were all helpful iin keeping us abreast of our room block count and guest lists. The day of we were lucky to have Angie as our point person. She is very professional and everything worked like clockwork. We never once had to worry about anything. She handled all the coordination of vendors, food, decor, etc. It was so nice to be able to sit back and just enjoy the day!! Angie and the staff were so attentive to the bride/groom making their day extra special. The service was top notch. The food was excellent. The bartenders and wait staff were so professional. There were never lines (we did add an extra bar) and the food service was on schedule all night. Every single person- whether it was the front desk, the wait staff, the valets, the wedding staff, the behind the scenes staff - everyone at the Delamar was so nice. They all seemed genuinely happy for the bride/groom and families. We had a suite for my daughter to get ready the morning of the wedding. Alberto was so helpful the night before and the day of, helping unload the cars and bring the many things we brought up to the rooms. Anything we needed he made sure we had. Having the reception at the Delamar where guests could stay over was the best decision- it was a weekend long event. We had an after party at World of Beer and everyone was able to easily walk to and from. The morning after the groom's parents graciously hosted a brunch at the Delamar that was equally as delicious and professionally staffed. The Delamar may be new to the Hartford area but it will quickly become a favorite spot for weddings. Book it while you still can!!

Our wedding was wonderful at the Delamar. Staff was very attentive. Food was excellent! Beautiful spot. Breakfast was the only area needing improvement but definitely recommend as a place for celebrations.

The best ever! We planned our wedding out-of-state and the team at the Delamar made it so easy. The ballroom and outdoor space were so beautiful. Our guests all commented “Best wedding food” and we couldn’t agree more! It was an easy decision and by far one of our best.

The food from Artisan is unbelievable. Everything was above and beyond delicious. The staff from Artisan and the Delamar were fantastic. They handled everything with grace. I cannot speak highly enough about the entire process.
