We had an absolutely amazing wedding at The Transept thanks to the DelightMore team! From our very first tour, they were on-top of every detail and responsive to every question we had. Corey, in particular, did an amazing job stepping in as our main point of contact from our tasting onwards and was always a delight to meet with. And speaking of our tasting… wow! The food they make is truly outstanding and we heard so many compliments from our guests on it. My 91 year old grandmother even declared her beef tenderloin the best she has ever had. :) Thank you all again for an amazing day. We cannot recommend The Transept and DelightMore more highly!

I can’t say enough about Shelley Evans and DelightMore. Shelley helped us every step of the way with the rentals and florist. The food was delicious and the staff at the wedding were professional and did a great job.

Delightmore is the perfect name for the merger of Funky’s and Vonderhaar's catering companies.  The name might as well be their mission statement because their services were absolutely awesome: We couldn't have been "Delighted More"!   Before I talk about the personnel, I need to review the food.  The food was prepared to perfection, served timely and hot, and was delicious -- we received so many compliments about the food. Lori Haines (Sales and Customer Service) was fantastic throughout the whole process.  This was our first wedding and we needed assistance.  Lori walked us though from the beginning to the end, promptly answering all of our questions, and providing us relevant suggestions / options. Her industry knowledge is invaluable.  The tasting evening was outstanding -- tough decisions because all of their food is so good.  The table decor (linens, flatware, and place setting) was perfect.  Garrett (Wedding Coordinator) was on site the day of the wedding and made sure that every detail was perfect.    Aside from Lori and Garrett, I want to thank the entire Delightmore staff that worked so hard to help make Kenzie and Eric's wedding reception a huge success.   The night was absolutely perfect. We have two other daughters and we will absolutely use Delightmore Catering again! 

The best decision for our wedding was hiring Delightmore! We knew we wanted to have American and Indian food, and from the start, Shelley and Chef Amy worked with us on every dietary need to make a menu that turned out to be delicious. Our families were especially grateful for the attention to cooking techniques that honored our particular south Indian traditions. Karen made our day run so smoothly, even as we had to change the location of the ceremony which changed the reception. Karen made sure that we were getting to enjoy our food and drinks too as the night progressed. We were so grateful to the Delightmore staff who checked in with us and helped our day go perfectly. Thank you, Delightmore team!

The Delightmore Team was incredible to work with and they helped make our wedding day perfect. Shelley helped us prep and plan everything smoothly, from the beginning she is super helpful and responsive to all our questions. Lacie was an amazing day of coordinator onsite during the day! She made sure everything ran according to plan and continued to check on my husband and I to see how everything was and if there was anything we specifically needed. She helped setup private drinks and appetizers for us to share alone right after the ceremony and was incredibly professional and efficient. The appetizers passed during cocktail hour were all raved about by our guests, people were following the servers to make sure they could get more! We had around 160 guests for the plated meal and it was all served with wine service without any issues. Having her with us throughout the day allowed us to not worry about anything and only focus on each other. I didn't have to even think about any details because I knew she had it covered. The food was DELICIOUS! We had people complimenting it as the best catered meal they had ever had during the reception. The owner even showed up and thanked us personally after dinner was served for working with the team and made sure everything was going how we would have liked. The whole team was so friendly and listened to what we wanted for our big day. I cannot recommend this vendor highly enough, they have surpassed our already high expectations!

I could not have been happier with delightmore as our caterer! The planning prior to our event was great, they helped me pick my meal and worked with me when I wanted to make changes. Day of, they couldn’t have been more amazing. The set up, food distribution, dessert serving, clean up, was amazing. We used DelightMore for my daughter and son in law’s reception this past weekend 12/9/23. Right from the start they were easy to work with. We communicated via email and phone and they were always prompt with info or answering questions. The prices were reasonable, food was excellent and the staff was exceptional-always wanting to meet our needs.

I would HIGHLY recommend DelightMore for your wedding in the Cincinnati area. We initially picked them to service our wedding at Music Hall simply because their quotes were more affordable than other options. We ended up being blown away by their service and the quality of the food! A few things that stood out - 1) Lori, our primary contact, was kind and helpful as we were making decisions on food and details. We asked her a lot of questions and changed our minds frequently, and she always handled it with grace and got us what we needed. 2) The food itself was excellent. We heard nothing but great reviews from our guests. It came out hot and the servings were huge! This was a standout compared to many other large weddings we've attended (we had 225 guests). 3) The service on the night of our wedding was impeccable! Karen was our contact on site and she helped us have a lovely private bride and groom dinner. There were plenty of event staff to feed our guests quickly. They even remembered small detail requests - for example, my grandparents love coffee and don't get around super well. While there was coffee served at the bar, DelightMore sent over a staff member to my grandparents' table to bring them coffee so they didn't have to get up. So sweet and special. Thank you to DelightMore for helping make our night so wonderful!

I would recommend Funky's catering to anyone and everyone. Not only was the food fantastic (seriously, AMAZING!), they facilitated my day at the Transept flawlessly. Every single person who had a hand in my day was so courteous and helpful, they took care of everything and all I had to do the day of my wedding was get ready and enjoy myself. The table-side ordering was incredible and definitely worth the extra money. We marveled at how the owners of Funky's were serving food to my guests during my reception. There wasn't a single detail that they did not think of and I could not have had a more perfect day because of them.

We worked with Sharon and Jennifer throughout our wedding planning process. They were both very helpful at answering questions in a timely manner and working with us on our concerns. We were very happy with how our wedding ended up and all their suggestions helped improve our day.

We had our wedding at the Pincroft, and let me tell you, having Funky's cater AND cook on site made for the most delicious wedding food I've ever had. Do not sleep on their vegetarian cannolini- that was the best thing I've ever eaten, which is almost never the case when it comes to vegetarian options. The chef came out and talked to us even, which we so appreciated - it's always nice to be able to tell the chef in person that they did an amazing job. We had so many people say it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding afterwards.

We could not have been happier with Funky’s for our wedding. The food was immaculate. The planners that we worked with were all so flexible and accommodating. Everyone we interacted with on our wedding day was so excited and energetic. They made sure that every detail that we wanted was taken care of, and that we didn’t have to worry about a thing from the very start of the process. Would highly recommend them.

This food was amazing. It was all warm and fresh and a TON of food on everyone’s plate. Nobody left hungry that is for sure. Everyone always talks about wedding food weather it was good or bad and I can say people are only saying GOOD things about our wedding food.

Funky's did an amazing job with our food for our wedding! Their menu provided me the exact food choices I had imagined for our wedding day. We did station style dinner with passed appetizers during cocktail hour. For the stations we did a mac & cheese bar (the gouda mac & cheese is hands down the best mac & cheese I've ever had), and their garden market station - which included salad bar, chicken, fish, veggies, and tomato soup and grilled cheese. With all the supply shortages that happened in 2021, they called me the day before the wedding to tell me that they didn't get their shipment in that they needed to make the tomato soup. However, they knew how excited I was to have that as part of the menu and they went above & beyond to find supplies to get the soup made for our wedding day! I was ecstatic!! Our guests raved all night about the quality of the food we had. They also efficiently were able to serve our ~200 guests in a timely manner. My only critique of Funky's is their communication. I am still giving them 5 stars and would recommend them despite this. 2021 was a challenging time for wedding vendors, and I am sure this played a part in why they didn't exceed my expectations in this department. On top of that, we did have some drastic last minute changes due to a change in venue from circumstances out of our control. The Funky's team did go above & beyond to assist us and adapt to the changes we had to make because of this. The team at Funky's was always incredibly nice and professional; but it often took extended periods of time for them to respond to emails and it seemed that our proposal had errors every time they would send us a revised version of it. This happened throughout the entire planning process up to the day before the wedding. Ultimately, we were able to get it sorted out without issue. Overall Funky's did an amazing job and helped us to have a perfect wedding day. Thank you Funky's team, we are very grateful for all your help!

If I could give Funky Catering 1 million stars I would. They were incredibly helpful and on the ball throughout our wedding planning process at the Pinecroft. But where Funky really stands out is on the day of your event. First, we were given a day of coordinator who was an absolute delight and the hardest working, most incredible help from the time we rehearsed our ceremony to when we left that night. Second, their on-site manager quickly pivoted from an outdoor ceremony to an indoor one with total ease and helped me feel confident in the pivot despite being disappointed the rain was ruining my outdoor event. And most importantly, when our florist dropped the ball, the entire Funky team on site at the Pinecroft pulled off the most incredible turnaround and made sure my husband and I had the reception we dreamed about. They built arrangements, pulled out spare candles and seriously performed a miracle. I do not know what we would have done without their tremendous professionalism and skill. I'm so proud to have been married at one of their venues, and I didn't even get into all the compliments we received on our food that night. They're simply the best, and Cincinnati is beyond lucky to have them.

Funky's Catering and the entire staff did a fantastic job serving our ~200 person wedding at Music Hall. Our guests all commented on how good the food and service was. Everything was fresh and served hot. The team worked around all the dietary restrictions our guests had and special requests we had to make our menu personal to us. Jennifer helped us with event design and rentals. Carlene, our catering manager, executed our plans flawlessly. Funky's is one of the most popular caterers in Cincinnati for good reason: the food is delicious, the service is great, and the people who work there are passionate about what they do.

People are still complimenting us on choosing Funky's as our caterer for our wedding! Each dish was incredible and it was by far the best wedding food I've ever had. The staff were incredible and the food was amazing!

Funky’s is the best! They catered my wedding for ~200 guests and the food was amazing. I am still hearing guests say it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had!! We served a duet plate that included the short rib which I cannot recommend enough. The staff was incredibly professional and on top of it. They know what they’re doing and are easy to rely on. They even took the time to prepare special dinner plates for me (bride) and the groom as we each wanted something a little different. Thank you Funky’s!!

Funky’s did SUCH an incredible job for us. With getting married in a pandemic they were flexible and understanding. They put safety first and had lots of protocol for Covid. On the day of my wedding I did not have to worry about ANYTHING. There was always someone there to get what I needed. I’m a control freak and so I was worried about the day of going smoothly but they managed the WHOLE process and made sure everything happened how it was supposed to. And they even helped me bustle my dress when we couldn’t figure it out, haha.

The food was first class and so incredible. Delicious! Funky's Catering is the very best all around to make your wedding over the top. We were the photography and video crew of Jill Matthews Photography, all five of us, and we were served just like guests. So many caterers serve a "vendors meal" of a dry PB&J and a warm can of coke, NOT Funky's. We were nothing but impressed. We heard only rave comments from the guest in regard to the food.

Funky's is the absolute best! Funky's catered our backyard wedding in October and both the service and food were incredible! Funky's staff was extremely professional and did a wonderful job. And of course, the food was delicious (we served the short rib-highly recommend!)

We were thrilled with our decision to have our wedding at The View at Mt. Adams a Funky's property. The space is absolutely stunning (and brand new!), between the huge chandelier, floor to ceiling windows and vintage bars, and the Funky's team - especially Emily, Bobby and Ashley - are amazing to work with, and provided exceptional service throughout the entire process. They made sure that every detail was taken care of, and went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt safe and comfortable. The food was also delicious - we had many people tell us that it was the best food that they had ever had at a wedding! We would highly recommend Funky's and particularly The View to anyone. One tip: we had both our ceremony and reception at The View. While they can flip the room while keeping everyone in the main space, we had originally rented a tent for the parking lot for the cocktail hour and could not have been happier with this decision (it also gave us an outdoor space for music after dinner). Emily and the rest of the team at Funky's handled all of the arrangements for the tent rental and draping, and it turned out beautifully.

Funkys not only has amazing food but they also have an amazing staff. They did everything they could to help my dreams come true during the pandemic and make my wedding happen. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone at Funkys catering.

We are so happy we chose Funky's for our wedding! From our initial consultation meeting to every check in or decision along the way to the actual day, everyone we and our guests interacted with were so professional and pleasant, providing their expertise while allowing us flexibility and options, which was important to us. We'd heard of other weddings where the bride and groom never actually get to eat the food, which we were definitely not going to let happen with how absolutely delicious everything was! We had 150 guests and chose passed hors d'oeuvres, 3 stations, and had a sweet treat, fruit and cheese spread as a dessert/grazing table - one month later, our friends and family are still raving about everything they ate (especially the tater tot bar)! Everything was perfectly executed, especially impressive considering our venue didn't have a kitchen and they still cooked everything fresh. Absolutely recommend!

Jennifer at Funky's was great leading up to our day- she was organized and very prompt to answer any questions we had. The quality and taste of the food was also great and there were meal options for all types of food allergies. The reason they are only getting 3 stars is because the service at our actual wedding was terrible. The food was a half hour behind schedule and when my husband and I asked our captain why we were behind schedule she blamed it on us for not being seated and then tried to recover by saying you could not rush the meals because they were individually made. Another server was very rude to one of our guest who has a gluten allergy and had a special meal requested (which they were aware of prior to the wedding) and told my guest that "she was making their jobs very difficult." Finally, despite it being written on our timeline created with Funky's prior to our wedding, our "captain" did not serve our sheet cakes to our guests. So many of our guests did not get cake and our venue contacted us the next day with 100+ servings of cake left in the refrigerator. My mom got in contact with the owner of Funky's and he was apologetic for the horrible service we got at our wedding; however I would not use Funky's catering for another event due to the bad service.

There are literally one million good things I could say about using Funky's. Their whole team is just the best. They know how to plan everything from the top down, and they make it simple and fun! We worked with Hilary, Beth, and Carlene for our wedding at The Pinecroft and have nothing bad to say. The food was AMAZING, the staff made the day like a breeze go by with no effort! They are prepared for literally anything, whether it is rain, or dropping your drink. They are there with an umbrella or a refill before it has even happened! I honestly can't thank the team at Funky's enough for making our wedding day absolutely perfect.

Funky's was so incredible to work with! They helped us create a menu that was uniquely us, and the day of they ran everything seamlessly. From curating the menu to include mini Cincinnati cheese coneys and other fun tapas, to their flexibility using a reception space with no kitchen - we appreciated the hard work and creativity of the team. When my husband and I arrived to the reception venue, a Funky's waiter was waiting with a celebratory drink for the two of us. Having the chance to take that moment to ourselves was really great. As dinner was served and we made our rounds to thank guests, they checked in and brought us food as needed. The food was by far one of the biggest hits of our wedding - our guests couldn't stop talking about it! Thank you Funky's - we really appreciate your part in our special day.

We can't say enough good things about Funky's. From the very beginning they were so incredibly kind to us. They made the whole process easy and simple. Cecilia, Michele, and Ashley were incredible to work with, they really made us feel so special and we really appreciate all their help. They not only did the catering but they helped coordinate with our lighting and rentals vendors as well as helped with day-of coordination of the ceremony, etc. It made our lives so much easier. Our guests raved about the delicious food and we were so happy with their service. Everyone on their staff was wonderful and kind to us and all our guests. We will most definitely use them again for all catering needs!

Funky's has a lot of experience running events, and their food is excellent too! Funky's ran our wedding reception and catered it at Pinecroft Estate. There are sooo many details involved in planning a wedding, and Funky's was very patient with me as I stepped through learning the process and options, and even changing my mind a few times. They were very helpful in planning all the details, offering advice, and cutting to the point. They ran the day of our wedding flawlessly. The food was delicious, the bar well-stocked, the service impeccable. They asked all the right questions leading up to the big day, and executed everything as we discussed. I definitely recommend Funky's for your event!

The food at our wedding was fantastic! We received a lot of compliments from guests, especially on the short rib and the salmon dishes. The tasting at Funky's was one of my favorite parts of wedding planning and their team was very accommodating and open to feedback.

Funky's really went above and beyond to earn our business and follow through. Unlike other catering services that have you come in with a bunch of other brides and grooms and try whatever they've decided to make that day, Funky's brings you in solo and makes the exact food that you want for your wedding. Keep in mind, the price difference between trying pretzels and hamburgers (and seriously, we all know what those taste like) with a bunch of strangers and trying LITERALLY EVERYTHING you think you want with just you and your future spouse is just an extra $15/person. (not exaggerating, that was our exact experience) Leading up to the wedding, the team at Funky's offered to meet with us at the venue so everyone could get on the same page, which was really great. Then, on the big day, they put aside a tray of hors d'oeuvres for my husband and I to enjoy in quiet before our big entrance (and went and got us drinks from the bar). We never asked them to do this, they just knew we would enjoy a little time to ourselves. I would also stress that we were not "big ticket" customers. This was a wedding of <55 people and they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great night. The food was amazing, fun and special and they made sure that our wedding cake leftovers were properly wrapped up and put aside for pick up the next day. Great experience, would definitely recommend them!!

The entire experience was awesome at Funkys. From our tasting, to final meeting prior to the wedding. Davidson was detailed, the staff was attentive, and all our guests commented on how delicious the food was. My groom also got 2 meals because he couldn't choose between 2 of the great dinners :) They were my favorite vendor at the wedding!! Highly recommend.

Literally amazing!! We had a duel plate of short ribs and salmon for our wedding this past weekend at the Pinecroft, and guests could not stop talking about it (especially the short ribs)!!! The service and staff could not have been better- they made sure the entire evening was a perfect event!

I loved Funky's vibe and menu ideas. I called a few caterers on the same day. Funky's was the last to return my call. I began working with Jennifer who missed our phone appointment. She called to apologize 5 hours later. This put up a red flag...if she couldn't make it to a phone appointment, would Funky's show up to my wedding? I then began working with Cecilia. I set up a in person meeting when I was in town, which she hesitated to even set up. The way she spoke at the end of the meeting, I thought I'd receive a proposal that evening or maybe the following week. Then when I didn't hear back a month later, I sent an email requesting the proposal. I never heard back from her or anyone at Funky's. I truly hope this experience was isolated, but also felt like I should warn anyone who has some hesitation about working with Funky's.

Everybody raved about how good our food was, and it was a buffet - which I know some people get nervous about! Everything was outstanding, and the flaming donut bar was a HUGE hit. From the time we did the tasting, we knew we were in good hands with the staff and were very impressed with their processes. They also helped us in a venue crisis about 4 months before the wedding and were super flexible to help us have the best day.

Funky's does amazing work! The food at our wedding was to die for and the service was top notch!!! My brother has a nut allergy so we made it a nut free wedding and Funky's was so accommodating of that. We had a wonderful experience overall with planning our wedding through Funky's. We are so glad we chose them!

We had Funky's Catering for our wedding at the Transept. They are incredible! The food was absolutely delicious, but even more importantly, they guide you through the whole process, help plan the entire day, and have amazing staff available the day of to help with anything and everything. I felt so at ease knowing that Funky's was handling setup, decor, food, and our timeline, for the big day. Funky's made our day the best ever!

Wedding catering - highly recommend. The food was amazing (just like it was when we tasted). Every guest that talked to us about food had a favorite and all items were mentioned several times! Our captain Davidson was a dream day of, everything went smoothly and I had no worries. Prior to the event, Davidson hosted a final details meeting and everything was set and replicated just as we talked about. A couple months before the event, we worked with our design coordinator Cecilia and she helped us come up with the linen colors and feel or theme we wanted to achieve and the final result was spot on! Throughout the initial tasting, Seth added a few items we had left off our requests that were crowd favorites and we even ended up selecting one of those! Overall it was a easy, stress free event because they thought of everything!

We got so many compliments on the food at our wedding, and we have Funky's to thank for that. They were great to work with; I highly recommend them!

Funky's is terrific-excellent food and service. I got many compliments from my guests about the food and how good it was. Best loved of all were the flaming doughnuts. They take Krispy Kremes, flambe them in liquor, which your guests get to watch, and then they have ice cream and toppings for them. If you hire Funky's, GET THIS. It's worth every penny. It will make your wedding unique and memorable. The staff was very professional and worked their butts off-Alyssa, our captain, was great. They are also very good about accommodating special requests-at least regarding the food. While they aren't the cheapest, they are at least straight forward and don't stick in BS fees like cake cutting. So I hear you asking, why only four stars, then? Two words-Bar. Package. Theirs sucks, and they are completely unwilling to work with you on it in any way unless you pay extra. First of all, there is ZERO excuse for a bar package that doesn't include tequila. That's ridiculous. It also doesn't include margarita mix, bloody mary mix, peach schnapps...I could go on. Name a popular mixed drink, it's almost guaranteed at least one ingredient necessary to make it is not included in the package. And they are completely unwilling to substitute ANYTHING. Believe me, I asked. Multiple times. Their bar package is geared to heavy liquor-scotch, bourbon, whisky, etc. I don't think I had a single guest who drinks scotch-but they were absolutely unwilling to substitute tequila or anything else for it. I'm pretty sure we never opened one bottle-and I paid per person, not consumption, so I had to pay for something I didn't want and didn't use. I resent that and it's why it cost them four stars on flexibility and one star off overall value. I am overall VERY satisfied with Funky's, and I do recommend them enthusiastically overall. I just think their bar package (and customer service regarding it) needs serious work.
