Desert Foothills Events and Weddings

desert foothills events is an amazing venue. as a COVID wedding party, we unfortunately had to reschedule our wedding several times. not only was the venue and its management willing to accommodate our needs, they went above and beyond the call to ensure our day went as smoothly as possible. We got so many compliments on the venue itself, and many said it was a perfect place to hold a wedding. We are so grateful for their part in our wonderful day. Huge thanks to Lisa and Amber as well as all the amazing members of their team.

Our wedding day at Desert Foothills was PERFECT! Lisa and Courtney are a breeze to work with and always quick to respond. We are obsessed with the beauty of this venue and love how secluded and private it truly is. Everyone that attended our wedding kept asking how we found out about this place. It’s a hidden gem. If you are considering it, do yourself a favor and see it in person!

The venues beauty and privacy speaks for itself in pictures! However, I cannot day enough good things about the staff and Lisa who was our planner from the venue. Even during COVID-19 they made our wedding happen for us and partnered with us as the numbers dwindled and times became more uncertain. The wedding ended up only being a handful of friends and family but we truly enjoyed it and cannot thank the entire staff and venue for hosting us. Book them - really they are affordable, responsive, flexible and the location/venue is so beautiful for a western wedding.

Had our wedding here in December 2019 and had the most amazing time. Awesome communication from the owner and planner all through out the process and especially within the 30 days. Bartenders and wait staff were excellent got a ton of compliments from guests. They had affordable pricing with options to upgrade. I used their preferred vendor list which was also great for a lot of our choices and we were not disappointed. Had a back up plan for rain which was nice because it did end up raining during indoor reception. Would highly recommend.

Excellent. Professional. Experienced. Recommended services that knew the venue and that she knew to make a smooth event happen. Accommodating in all ways. Made recommendations for rentals and services of Desert Foothills could offer as well as other options. Worked with non-familiar vendors that we had for a wedding event. Worked well with the wedding planner (Your Jubilee) in a professional manner. The venue was clean and accommodating at first meeting a year prior and was the same all throughout our experiences. Lisa was prepared for our walk through with suggestions on the layout in advance of our walk through and prepared for the day of the wedding. Staff was pleasant and professional. The venue was everything we expected. Bartenders were accommodating and there were two with a “bar back” at cocktail hour, and two for during the evening. There was still a long line waiting for drinks at the beginning of the cocktail hour, so it displays that the bartenders were not fast enough in accommodating the guests. With the exception that the MOB/groom neglected to order Scotch for the evening, the bartenders were satisfactory in trying to accommodate the guest’s requests. *Written on behalf of the MOB, my daughter was married February 2018.

We wanted freedom and natural beauty with our venue. Desert Foothills matched our simple criteria, but we got SO MUCH MORE than expected when we booked them as our wedding venue. Lisa and Courtney were amazing to work with. They will help you as little or as much as you want. Day of they pretty much took care of every worry we had and were super professional. The venue is hands down amazing. It’s stunning with string lights and draping. Of course, the ground is gravel, but I feel like it gave us a little excuse to let loose and have fun. We were able to customize our entire wedding & open to use the vendors we wanted. We were able to bring in our own alcohol, which saved us a ton. They make you pick one of their caterers off of their expansive list (they want to assure quality considering they do not have a kitchen) so we went with the house caterer. Our guests are still raving about the food. We are so happy we chose Desert Foothills and would recommend it to anyone who is not scared of a little dirt!

We wanted a venue that incorporated the natural beauty of the Sonoran desert, and this venue fit the bill! It is beautiful and relaxed, with special details like fire pits and twinkle lights that keeps it special. With such an amazing sunset that we experienced, there is little need for additional decorations. The coordinators were great to work with, making sure decisions are made in a timely manner without being overbearing.There are 6 caterers to choose from (we chose Cater Phoenix), and you get to bring in your own alcohol, which is awesome! The only downsides are that you have to do table/tablecloth rentals through them, and the floor is packed dirt. I'd absolutely suggest this venue to others if you are looking for a natural, desert-y vibe.

We had an absolute incredible experience at this venue and I can't imagine getting married anywhere else! I cannot give Lisa and Courtney enough stars for all of their help. We lived out of town so most of our communication was via email. Lisa and Courtney were super responsive, patient with our many emails, and are so experienced. They are the reason I did not need a wedding planner which saved me so much money! They made sure our wedding went off without a hitch. They thought of details that I hadn't and coordinated with all our vendors. They also helped us totally personalize our ceremony and reception by being creative. We ran out of some liquor at one point and they helped us out from their emergency supply. My out of town guests were blown away by this venue!

Lisa and Amber are amazing. They worked so hard every step of the planning process to ensure we were all on the same page. I could not have asked for a better team the day of my client's wedding.

My experience with Desert Foothills was truly exceptional!! The moment I saw the venue I knew it was perfect for us. The venue provided us with so many different options to make our ceremony and reception truly unique. I loved the open space, the ability to bring in your own vendors and the beautiful desert scenery. My husband and I received so many compliments during our reception on what a "perfect venue" this was. Beyond the perfect venue was the perfect venue coordinator, Lisa. She was outstanding from the moment I reached out and showed interest. She was so incredibly helpful, I really don't know what I would have done without her. I feel like she went above and beyond to answer my endless questions and requests. I had so many questions, many times sending her multiple emails a day throughout my year engagement and she was so prompt and thorough with every answer. She was incredibly helpful in giving me resources for decorations and advice in areas that I was unsure about. She even let us borrow 10 champagne glasses that she had so we didn't have to buy any! She truly was great and I honestly don't know what I would have done without her. The venue has so many options for tables, chairs, etc., that you can truly customize everything to fit you and your style. In addition, we went with the in-house caterer, Bobby Q, and we are so glad we did that. The food fit the venue perfectly and was unbelievably delicious. Again, we did not stop hearing compliments from guests on the food! I am so thankful to have found this venue and Lisa!
