She took the stress right out of worrying about the small details as our big day approached. We also cannot rave more about the food - it was incredible and by far the best wedding food I have ever had. And Robbie out does herself making you feel secure that everything will turn out great! All of our guests had a blast and raved about the bar selection. Not to mention their chef is well known in the valley and prepares the most delicious dinner options. If you want a bang for your buck this is definitely the venue for you!

p to the wedding, working with the staff was a breeze. Robbie Lomes became the new director shortly after we signed our contract for the venue, and after seeing so many great reviews about Ashley, we were initially bummed she wouldn’t be in charge. However, we could not have been luckier to have Robbie come on board and help us through the planning process. She is so sweet, helpful, and responsive, and she had years of experience from another venue. She always answered even our smallest questions promptly and thoughtfully, and we could not be more grateful to Robbie for how smoothly the planning process and the day of went. She even drove the golf cart around for us after the ceremony so we could get photos around the beautiful golf course! Additionally, all of the other Desert Willow staff were phenomenal, and we had absolutely no complaints. The venue and the golf course/mountain view are truly stunning. We had our ceremony and cocktail hour on the terrace (one of the only venues we looked at that didn’t require an outdoor ceremony take place on grass—huge plus for high heels). All of our guests were in awe of how spectacular the location was. The reception we had indoors and it was the perfect size for a 75 person wedding. Last, but not least, the Desert Willow has the BEST food we’ve ever had at any wedding venue. We were blown away at our tasting, and all of our guests were just as impressed at our reception. In terms of price, this venue was actually much cheaper than others we had looked at in the Palm Springs area or compared to any of the resorts we looked into. There were no venue fees besides the cost per person for food and drink. They provided the chairs, tables, arch, etc. and did all of the set up for us. We expected planning a wedding to be a difficult task, but working with Robbie and the Desert Willow staff truly made it a breeze. We couldn’t be luckier to have such a breathtaking venue and wonderful experience. I can not recommend this venue highly enough.

There was not a single aspect of my experience that was not superb in every possible way. We went through Desert Willow for our ceremony, food and beverage, rentals, and day of coordination and set up. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT! Every single staff member we interacted with (from managers/directors to wait and maintenance staff) were genuinely pleasant and happy to work with us on literally WHATEVER we had in mind. Our wedding was non-traditional, did not follow a normal timeline, and I had certain very specific ways I wanted things done. Every detail that I had planned-out was handled perfectly (and even the few details I hadn’t thought of were handled expertly without fuss or putting additional stress on me). I was very budget conscious and never once felt pressured to add or upgrade anything or uncomfortable for having a firm dollar amount limit. They actually worked with me to make sure that I was getting the most cost effective options available and were flexible to adjust the final guest count (more than once) up until literally a few hours before the wedding (yeah, some of my guests weren’t very considerate of my planning efforts). Our guests (from Texas, Washington State, New York, Georgia, and Pennsylvania) were all absolutely blown away by the landscaping and scenery as well as the décor and styling of our indoor event space. The Desert Willow crew made me look like the absolute champion at wedding planning and styling, even though they did all the work. Want a small, intimate, and personal evening? They can do that. Want a big extravagant affair? They can do that too. Want something different and non-traditional? They’ll knock that out of the park. Know exactly what you want? They’ll bring it to life how you envisioned it, to the letter. Have no idea what you want? They’ll work with you to figure it out and provide options, suggestions, pictures, advice, support, and expert guidance to make sure everything is perfect. Even if you don’t use them for day-of coordination services the planning, communication, and customer service from their director of Catering, Ashley is incomparable and cannot be beat. Whether you’re a chill, laid-back, go with the flow type bride, a high-anxiety, type-A, need to know every single thing type of bride, or anywhere in the middle, Ashley has this way of making you 300% comfortable and confident that everything is perfectly under control and is going great in less than 5 seconds, without coming across as patronizing, controlling, or any other negative word you can think of. I would joke with my fiancé and parents that sometimes I just wanted to call and talk to Ashley because I was stressed or worried and she would make me feel better (but really I was serious). Long story-short, every single aspect of our wedding was perfect and I wouldn’t change a thing. BOOK THIS VENUE.

he reception was amazing. The Desert views were stunning as a backdrop to our ceremony, reception, and photographs. We have not stopped receiving compliments on our wedding ceremony and reception. Our guests keep gushing over the food, drinks and service. I can say that working with Ashley, the Director of Catering , was an absolute blessing to us. We are so happy that we had our special day at Desert Willow.

f the best settings in the desert area. The staff was great and very helpful - especially Ashley and Jessica - they were always quick to answer questions and made the day as stress free as possible. We did buffet style food and it was hot and good - several guests commented that it was some of the best wedding food. I would definitely recommend Desert Willow!
