lp with hair, and both were so fun to have with us as we got ready. We were also so shocked at how quick and efficient both girls were at getting everything done. They made the whole morning run so smoothly for us that everyone was able to relax and hang out while we got ready. Aside from how great her personality is, her talent for hair and makeup is unbelievable. All of the girls looked so stunning! From the second we walked in to the venue, people kept coming up to me asking who did our hair and makeup because everyone looked so good. My photographer was also so impressed by how everyone looked and kept saying Anne did a fantastic job. All the hair styles were unique and exactly what each girl wanted. The girls who got makeup done looked so beautiful! I feel like some makeup artists put way too much on clients and they look overdone. Anne made everyone look so natural and just enhanced their natural beauty. Hair and makeup also lasted until the end of the night. It was a long, hot day and a night full of dancing and everything still held up. Very impressed with Anne and would highly recommend her!

just 4 hours! My makeup stayed absolutely all day through July heat, and my hair was out of my face without feeling tied out of the way. Really Anne was just so nice and so good at what she does!

cancel, saying there was a conflict with one of her Covid brides and had to cancel me because that bride rescheduled for my wedding date. Anne recommended someone else, so I emailed her right away and I still have not heard back from her. Although she did send my deposit back, I find it very unprofessional to cancel on me 6 weeks out for another wedding.

ake a lunch break and still had extra time for photos because she worked so efficiently. Also, I have very oily skin and my face stayed the same all day and night, even with dancing!! I had her for my mini-mony last year, too and I am sad all the celebrations are over because I would hire her over and over again. She's an amazing makeup artist and person!

nd her Venmo account for the deposit. I completed it and sent the deposit the same day. I asked for a copy of the contract when she signed it. I didn’t hear back for a few days so I attempted contact again. She said she was on vacation and would send it later that week when she returned. I never heard from her again. I emailed her mid-August to ask for a trial date because my wedding was approaching on October 3rd. She said she was available that Sunday. I told her I was available any time. She never contacted me back to set up a time. I didn’t hear from her on Monday or Tuesday, so I emailed her again and asked if she had a different date in mind. She said she was available on Friday, September 18, with no apology or explanation. Again I asked her what time and she never got back to me to set an appointment time. So at this point, I called her on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday telling her I was trying to make contact to set up an appointment time. She never returned any of my phone calls. So on September 12, I sent an email telling her I have tried to contact her several times to set up an appointment and have never gotten any communication from her at all. I told her I had no idea why she was treating a client this way. I told her I would like a refund of my money. Within five minutes she emailed me back and said that she had had surgery and had just recovered from it. I told her at this point I had been trying to set this up since July and had no confidence or trust that she would even show up on my wedding day and I would simply like a refund. It is October 31 and I still have not heard from her again or received my refund. I can only hope she is not doing this to a lot of people it was very stressful. My next step is contacting the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General.

wedding. My hair and makeup stayed put the entire night (and I sweat a lot dancing). Usually my hair doesn't stay curled, and somehow Anne managed to make it hold without too much hairspray! I chose Anne because her makeup looks very natural without being overdone. She even offered to drive my wedding party (low on car space) to the venue after our makeup and hair!!!! She is so kind and was always very responsive to my texts/emails. She is an amazing woman and if you are between multiple vendors CHOOSE ANNE! You won't regret it.

She was also great to have around while we were getting ready, as she easily fell into conversation with the group! Finally, she was incredibly responsive and easy to get a hold of during the planning stages and leading up to the ceremony. I did a trial run with her a few months before, which was great for helping me figure out what I liked and didn't like for my hair and make-up. In short, I was so impressed by how well she did hair and make-up for so many people, and that she was able to get everyone ready early for pre-ceremony pictures. Would definitely recommend having her do hair and make-up for your wedding!

ad makeup done professionally and have rarely had hair styled. I am no expert! So take this with a grain of salt, I suppose. Here’s the good and the bad. The Good: Anne was very friendly. She was patient with my M.O.H., who came late and ran her behind. She did a nice job with my sister-in-law, who was self-conscious about a pregnancy-induced break-out. The Bad: We were blessed with so many great vendors who made our wedding experience a breeze! Sadly, this was not one of them. I saw a few similarly negative reviews below mine here, which I didn’t catch when I first hired her, so I would just really advise to read them all and weigh the pro’s and the con’s. A couple of my trials were cancelled, one just maybe an hour before, due to conflicts with her schedule. I also had to do two trials. I told her via email and when we met that I don’t wear makeup and wanted very subtle, natural-looking makeup. My makeup was so heavy that I teared up when I saw myself. I didn’t feel like me. I didn’t even want to look in the mirror. I came home and washed it off. On the day of the wedding, she said she would apply it little by little and would stop throughout the application to ask me if I wanted more makeup, or felt it was enough. She did not do this, and I was not in front of a mirror where I could see it. She showed me my makeup at the end. It felt very heavy for me, but I know that I could’ve asked for no makeup, so I take the blame. What really hurt us was what followed after my wedding day. I paid by card and was overcharged $100 on the day of the wedding, right before I was about to walk down the aisle, so of course, I did not catch it. We came home from our honeymoon to a catastrophic flood and money was tight. As I was looking at bank statements, I realized she overcharged me. I brought this to her attention, and she argued with me! So I quoted the contract, gave her a list of services she provided, did the math, and very politely explained that the math did not add up. She continued to argue with me. My husband and I were shocked. I was in tears. But she did eventually refund me the money. Buyers, beware!

I respectfully declined the referral and expressed concerns about trying to find a suitable replacement with the wedding right around the corner (I booked Anne a year in advance). I told her I expected her to honor the contract. She never officially cancelled, and I never heard from her again despite multiple attempts at calling. I later received a PayPal notification that she had refunded my money. When I tried to confirm her cancellation via email, she never responded. I work closely with event planning in my profession, and this is the most unprofessional thing I have ever been a part of.

for my wedding date and also paying her $75 for a make up trial with an additional tip of $15, Anne mentioned I would not meet her minimum number of clients in my party for her to do my make up on my wedding day. This was not mentioned anywhere in her contract, nor in any of our correspondence over the last 8 months. She refused to refund me any of the money I paid upfront and would not call me or respond in writing- she only sent voice messages to me through text message, which disappear after you listen to them, so she didn’t have to worry about a paper trail. Please do yourself the favor of finding a more reputable business!

We all felt so pretty, and (even better) the makeup lasted all night long, even through sweating it out on the dance floor. Seriously, there were pictures from the end of the night where I probably should have looked like a gremlin but instead I looked like I had just finished getting my makeup done.
