Just watched our wedding video on our one year anniversary last night and once again we were stunned by how beautiful the chuppah looked. I mean...geez. They do an incredible job, and it was a no-stress process, they just made it happen.

I wish I hadn’t used them for my wedding day. Despite initial communication seeming to go well, I was let down on my wedding day and would recommend avoiding this company at all costs. Here’s why: 1) The day before my wedding I received a random e-mail from an employee I hadn’t spoken to before asking if I was ready to make my payment for my flowers. My flowers had already been paid for, whether this was an attempt at a scam or not, I don’t know but it didn’t fill me with confidence. 2) On the day of my wedding they forgot to include (an already specified and agreed) button hole for my now husband. We had to go ahead with the wedding without it, which was a stress and a challenge we didn’t appreciate on the day and something we can’t make up for. 3) When contacting to register this issue over two weeks ago, I was told that for some reason the buttonhole hadn’t been included in my total price and so it was left off. This was an error on the vendors part and I couldn’t have picked this error up otherwise I would have sorted it. I was offered as a ‘good will gesture’ a refund of my delivery charge. Which has never arrived. 3) Their flowers are average at best. What arrived on the day weren’t what I was expecting, despite us discussing example flowers (from their website). I honestly feel I could have put something better together myself from Wholefoods. I would honestly say - avoid at all costs. It’s not worth the stress.

Designs by Ahn delivered above and beyond my expectations. When I entered my venue day of my breath was taken away at the beauty and intricacy of the arrangements. I also got so many compliments from guests! They are professional throughout the whole process and listen to all of your input, taking everything into consideration. Highly recommend!

We ordered our bridal bouquet and buttonieres from designs from Ahn. I told them which flowers i wanted to be included in my bouquet. They reassured me my bouquet will be beautiful! I have been following them in social media and their flowers are gorgeous!! During my wedding day, when i got hold of my wedding flowers i was in bliss! It was the most beautiful bouquet i have ever seen!!

Designs by Ahn created a spectacular environment for my wedding. The room was completely elevated by the floral designs. Victoria is so creative and such an artist that we were truly speechless when we first entered the room. Victoria and all of the staff at DBA were receptive to our ideas and a genuine pleasure to work with. I couldn’t recommend them more. The wedding was postponed twice and Victoria worked with us to move the floral arrangements forward into different seasons. They were polished, organized and professional throughout. I am hugely thankful.

Designs by Ahn was an absolute pleasure to work with for my wedding! The look DBA creates is so incredibly unique it's like no other wedding flowers I've seen, and my guests raved about them. Every little nit-picky request I emailed them with they responded so quickly, politely and like nothing I could possibly ask was a bother to them. We came to see a sample arrangement a few weeks before the wedding and I wasn't completely thrilled with it due to a miscommunication about color scheme, but they listened to everything I wanted to change and on the wedding day they came out 10x BETTER than I even imagined. There was an actual blizzard on our day and they delivered all our arrangements on time and looking so pristine they could be in a magazine.

Designs by Ahn was absolutely fabulous in designing and planning the florals for our wedding. She brought our vision of a room filled with white and green to life and executed perfected, making the room the mosts stunning and breathtaking room ever! Victoria and Riane were amazing people to work with throughout the process.

Victoria and her team were amazing! I originally booked Designs by Ahn back in early 2020, when my wedding was a year earlier and at a completely different venue. When my venue closed and I had to start from scratch they were incredibly accommodating and made sure my new date worked for them. The flowers delivered were stunning!! I had a small vision of what I wanted but Victoria really helped bring it to life. I could not have asked for a better florist and design team!

Being that I'm a type-A Aquarius, I was SUPER excited to create the romantic and moody fall wedding of my dreams. Without a doubt, Designs By Ahn brought the vision to life. Victoria was incredible to work with, and an enormous support not only in terms of vision, but also in regards to budget. She was honest and solutions oriented. The ceiling of our cocktail hour tent was absolutely stunning, and the table arrangements were breathtaking. I can't wait to get back the rest of our photos to enjoy the intentionality all over again!

I worked with Designs by Ahn through my ~2.5 year engagement and COVID postponement. They were absolutely wonderful to work with - Extremely organized, communicative, and so so talented. I'm not the most artistic person but also know what I like and don't like and Designs by Ahn was able to take my vague directions and execute beautifully. The flowers at my wedding were beyond gorgeous and I'm so grateful to them for making my wedding day so perfect. Thank you again so much!!!

The floral design of our wedding reception was something I was very excited and particular about so I can't express enough how grateful I am to have chosen Designs by Ahn. Victoria's creations are absolutely stunning and I teared up when I saw the final product on the day of. She brought my vision to life and really went out of her way to find my flower of choice for the arrangements despite them not being in season. All our guests were in awe and kept complimenting the floral decor! From the hanging ceiling vines to the blooming entryway, everything looked like an enchanted garden. She was also very transparent with the cost of any additions to the invoice and worked to stay within my budget while not sacrificing the vision. Highly recommend if you want to have beautiful romantic floral arrangements at your event!

Designs by Ahn was on the list of required florists for our venue and holy smokes, they did not disappoint!! The centerpieces were exactly what I described and all of our guests complimented them all evening. The archway we ordered was massive and if I could have taken it home, I would have. It was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my entire life and fit perfectly framed behind our sweetheart table. Riane and Victoria were very responsive to all my annoying emails and proposal changes leading up to our big day.

I had a really specific idea of what I wanted and Ahn created it even better than I had imagined! I am so impressed!

Designs by Ahn went above and beyond. They are so professional, easy going and true visionaries to create unique and stunning flower creations. From the early stages of planning til the day of, the team is attentive to your ideas and needs and is comforting throughout the whole process. I was truly blown away and I am still dreaming of the flowers from that day. It was truly magical!!

Overall, DBA did an absolutely gorgeous job with our very large, complex order for our wedding weekend flowers. We used DBA for our rehearsal dinner, wedding, and Sunday brunch. They also did the various signs for our events as well. We especially loved the flower arch for our ceremony, the seating chart with everyone's names on it, and the flower wall they created over an old, ugly curtain that was on the wall of the dance floor at the venue. (Especially since it poured halfway through our ceremony so everyone had to impromptu move inside to finish the ceremony on the dance floor with the flower wall behind us!) They also were able to provide anemones in August which I greatly appreciated! There were a few items that were mixed-up day-of that we just wanted to touch on: First, we had mix gendered wedding parties and my husband's wedding party was getting ready at his parents' house while my side of the wedding party was getting ready at the hotel suite. DBA mixed this up and did it traditionally according to gender- bringing all the bouquets to the hotel suite, and all the boutonnieres to where my husband was getting ready. This was lucky in the end, however, as they had messed up the order a bit. In order to "differentiate" sides my husband requested my side would have white flowers and his would have blue. The blue flowers in the bouquets for some strange reason were white flowers that had artificially been dyed blue which we very much did not want or request. So, in the middle of getting my hair done, I stopped and disappeared into the bedroom of the suite for about 30-45 minutes with my Matron of Honor redoing the bouquets by hand with flowers leftover from the rehearsal dinner we luckily had lying around, calling DBA, and coordinating with the deliveryman where which bouquets and boutonnieres needed to go. The hair and makeup artist also became visibly annoyed by this and kept insisting I come back outside the bedroom to get my hair finished which added more stress. Not to mention some of the white flowers in the bouquet were drying/dying a bit, but the deliveryman managed to get us new ones from the truck. Additionally, I unfortunately did not get eyes on the flower girl's basket ahead of time but the ugly blue dyed flowers were in there as well. (I noticed mid-ceremony.) Luckily the blue dyed flowers didn't make it into any of the other wedding arrangements though. Finally, I had asked for an oversize, cascading bouquet for myself and it felt a little skimpy and was not cascading, save for maybe one or two small vines that hung slightly lower than the rest of the flowers. It looked nice, but wasn't quite what I envisioned or requested. It was quite stressful especially since I didn't have a wedding planner or coordinator that knew what the order was actually supposed to be, but luckily my Matron of Honor and I were able to fix the bouquets and reroute everything to where it needed to be. However, I would have preferred to have spent those 30-45 minutes with my family and wedding party. With all of that said, I do recognize how large and complex all the arrangements were for the weekend so something was bound to be incorrect and overall we were very happy with how most everything came out aesthetically. If your order is big or complex, I'd advocate having a wedding planner who knows the ins and outs so you are not managing vendors instead of enjoying your day. Thank you DBA for beautiful arrangements overall though!

I can't say enough about Ahn and her team (love you Judy!). They were absolutely amazing and a delight to work with. So responsive, so thoughtful- I can't say enough good things about them. Thank you for making my floral dreams come true!

When my now husband and I were researching florals for our wedding, we didn't know quite what we were looking for, but I knew I loved Victoria's work and her aesthetic. I loved the organic, soft, and wild-but-elegant-and-romantic vibe. Once we met Victoria in-person for an initial discussion and proposal, we knew she was the one we could trust with taking a vision and bringing it to life in her own way. Thank you to Victoria and the DBA team for leading us through the planning (from initial proposal to making countless edits over months leading up to the wedding and through to the day of!) and being true partners in the process. The team was very responsive and easy to communicate with, and when things were more easily discussed in-person, a face-to-face meeting would be arranged. We had 2 venues (cathedral for our ceremony and Essex House for our reception) and the coordination to make that it all happen -- and to transport some of the elements from cathedral to Essex House -- was perfection. Our wedding florals were breathtakingly gorgeous and we are so grateful to Victoria and the DBA team for turning our vision into a reality so beautifully and gracefully. STUNNING!!!

Victoria Ahn from Designs by Ahn truly defines professionalism and artistic talent all wrapped up into one. She has an incredible eye for florals and colors, and produced jaw dropping arrangements that we and our guests could not get enough of. Her team responded quickly to my emails, worked with me in my budget, and provided seamless delivery and pickup. I was blown away by the color scheme - it was exactly what I wanted without even really describing it. Thank you Victoria & the Designs by Ahn team, you guys are truly the best of the best!

I am writing this review to share my very positive experience of working with Designs by Ahn - from my initial proposal to my wedding day and after! The consistency of how pleasant the whole experience has been still nearly brings to me to tears so here is my condensed note to help other brides like myself who are looking for a creative, sophisticated team that will be trustworthy partners for a very special day. I knew some clear concepts that I wanted and had some notes when I first connected with Designs by Ahn (after another floral designer friend recommended her, which was already a good sign). We had clear and pleasant walk through of what should be included in her proposal and I walked away feeling heard. And I was right! The colors, styles, and my preferences that were important distinctions were all noted and accounted for in my proposal and I immediately felt at ease choosing someone who could listen to me, guide me with her expertise, AND be truly sincerely pleasant and friendly the entire time. The team and I connected at some point briefly prior to the my design meeting to quickly revise some estimates on the amount of candles and tables. This was easy to manage and set us up for an easy decor meeting that was a relief amidst a number of other more stressful wedding tasks I had. For example, I had stressed the importance of greenery to me and this was reflected. I had given specific numbers for candles (many many) and it was tracked, noted ... I felt both heard and guided leading up to the big day. And on my wedding day, Victoria earned all the reviews, recommendations, and future work I can offer due to a number of key items. Most importantly, the vision came alive as we had discussed! I felt like ALL the candles and ALL the flowers came together in the VERY BEST version of our plan. Second, she executed like an absolute pro - our venue had an extremely tight turnaround for the ceremony space and the team set up HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS of candles and flowers!! Lastly, she went above and beyond. For my mid-October wedding, I had wanted Lily of the Valley for my bridal bouquet but understood from early conversations that it is a SPRING flower and may not be the best choice. On my wedding day, months later, despite no other follow up from me, I stared in disbelief that the Designs by Ahn team had successfully found the beautiful flower for my dream bouquet. I felt special and prepared for an amazing celebration!!

Designs by Ahn was fantastic and definitely delivered. The flowers and overall decor were perfect and everything we envisioned and more! Victoria and her team were kind, attentive, informative & genuine throughout the whole process and most definitely delivered on the day of. I could not have been happier with the turn out and we got so many compliments about how beautiful the flowers and decor were; from the aisle decor, altar decor, centerpieces, boquets, etc., everything was beautiful & breathtaking and we wouldn't have changed a thing. Victoria's style is absolutely stunning! I wanted jewel-tone fall flowers for my NYC October wedding and it just looked so breathtaking. The communication style was a little touch and go throughout the process. I was a pretty passive bride throughout because I didn't wanna get overwhelmed. I first did my consultation with someone who does not work for the company anymore. She was great and I was very direct with my color scheme. I came back in a month before the wedding and did a review with Victoria and it was stunning. We corrected a few things and settled our payment. Two days before my wedding when all the stress started kicking in I received an email with a first look at the prepared arraignments and it was very different from what I signed off on. My fiance communicated with them because we honestly felt it was someone else's arraignment! All was corrected and I was very grateful for that email but it was something I think all brides could do without. It is important to remember that things happen, and it was corrected without any stress which is a merit to them. Victoria's style is chic, whimsical, and romantic. I would recommend her for someone who wanted to lay their trust in the designer, who wants their flowers to be a reflection of high-end style, and is playful. She is extremely talented and her team is professional.

Floral design was a very important aspect to us while we were planning our wedding. We met with several florists before meeting Victoria but once we stepped in to her showroom, we knew we had to work with her. Her designs are modern yet timeless at once and her use of color is incredible. Our venue, Tavern on the Green, already provides a lot of greenery as a backdrop and we really wanted the flowers to make a statement against that. We asked to have flowers hanging from our tent over the dance floor, but didn’t give much direction other than that. When we walked into our reception, we were totally blown away by what her and her team were able to create. The bridal bouquet, the bridesmaids bouquets, groomsmen boutonnieres, and even our dog's flower collar were beyond anything we expected - perfect use of color and greenery. On top of all this, their quote was very reasonable and worth every penny. Easily the best floral design team in NYC. Thank you for making our floral dreams come true!

We worked with DBA on our June 2019 wedding and we cannot recommend them highly enough! Victoria created the most visually stunning floral chandelier and floral arrangements we have ever seen - she was an absolute pleasure to work with and a true artist. Our guests could not get over what she created for us - it was absolute magic! Phenomenal - 5 stars!

We were celebrating our anniversary several days ago and we were looking at our wedding photos, and it reminded me to write a review for all our wedding vendors. They did a beautiful arrangement for the flowers and candles set-up on the dinner table. However, for the table with the place cards, and the bridal bouquet, I wished it was presented and arranged better. It was not as beautiful as what I was anticipating, and in my perspective didn't seem as creatively arranged. The flowers in the bouquet and the table for place cards also didn't look like they are still full of life. Hiring a florist is never inexpensive in a place like New York. We had couple's photo shoot overseas and for the same amount you will pay for a bouquet in New York, the quality had been better in France.

Designs By Ahn created the floral arrangements of my dreams for our wedding. We asked for two large altarpiece arrangements, several centerpieces, an escort table draping and some hurricane candles and DBA nailed them all, even including two large grey pillars that matched the altarpiece arrangements perfectly. The palette that I had asked for - deep purples, creams and lilac - was dead on. During the mockup, I asked them to remove a type of plant that I didn't find completely appealing (it had a more angular/bulbous shape), but I think they took this as a cue to lean more towards romantic/lush in the final pieces, which was exactly what I had wanted. There were some communication difficulties at times as there is only one central email through which all DBA staff replies, sometimes leading to reiteration of what has been already discussed. Also, something I found offputting was when I was emailed about 2 hours before the first consultation that Victoria was away on a 'site visit,' and was asked if I could reschedule. However, I arrived at the consultation unaware of this and was told that Victoria was away - but during my meeting with Emily (my contact throughout this process - she was lovely, prompt and communicative!) I saw a woman walking around the meeting area who was clearly Victoria (I would meet her during the mockup session later). I found this a bit strange and considered not moving forward with my order. However, in the end I am glad that I did, as the final product was 1000% to my liking. I honestly feel that these snafus were worth it because of the quality of the final flower arrangements!

Designs by Ahn did an absolutely AMAZING job with the flowers for our wedding. The flower backdrop for our ceremony and our bouquets were stunning. The color scheme was perfect and everything looked great!

The flowers Designs by Ahn provided for our wedding were simply unbelievable. The arch in particular took my breath away, and I couldn't possibly count the number of compliments we heard from our guests. I'm even having blooms from my bouquet preserved. Thanks to Victoria and her entire team for making our day beautiful beyond our wildest dreams!

That’s seriously the first thing I said when I saw the flowers - it was better than I could have ever envisioned. I have Victoria a super detailed PowerPoint deck with pictures of exactly what we wanted and she totally ran with the vision and made it better than I would have thought! They totally know what they’re doing and do everything is a super reasonable budget. Just walking into their cute studio on 5th ave, I felt like I was at home. It’s adorable decorated and all the woman are so friendly and very responsive and accommodating. I did soooo much research and interviewed over 10 different florists too and I couldn’t recomendable them more!

Victoria and her team completely exceeded my expectations! The reception space and the Church completely took my breath away. They were able to transform the industrial space at 26 Bridge into the most romantic indoor garden party I’ve ever seen. Every piece of floral was created with such care and detail. My day to day contact Emily was very responsive and did a great job helping us with any creative revisions we needed to make. I cannot thank Victoria and her team enough for their hard work, 100% worth every penny!

Victoria and her team are amazing! My husband and I were married in NYC in August 2018 and from the moment I contacted Victoria, I knew I found the right florist. I prepared lots of questions and shared tons of Pinterest photos. All the while Victoria took her time to listen to what we wanted and completely delivered magical wedding flowers. Her style is romantic and elegant - it was perfect. Her team is so great in fact that at the last minute we contacted them to help with the rehearsal dinner. They were accommodating and did a fantastic job decorating the space! I never worked with someone who understood exactly what I was trying to capture without me not fully being able to explain myself. The bouquet I received for our wedding day was the absolutely perfect compliment to my dress! I sent pictures for inspiration and was provided with the most stunning bouquet that were exactly as I hoped they would be!!

We finally decided to work with Designs by Ahn for our wedding, and we are very happy we finally did! From the beginning, Victoria and her team listened carefully to our interests, tastes and requests. Victoria, Emily, Jay and the DBA team are phenomenal! Victoria was very flexible and patient when we are discussing options and budget, even offered a preview before we booked. Emily helped us revised and followed up with every details leading up to the big day. Jay not only delivered the result but went above and beyond to create one one-of a kind asymmetrical alter decoration, geometric center pieces and amazing pie table arrangements. We had a a romantic fall Brooklyn wedding, thanks to DBA. If you are in the NYC area, look no further. This is the florist who does not have a minimal and will work with you until you are happy!

Ahn and Emily were wonderful during my planning process. Ahn, is an artist with flowers and candles!! My color scheme she helped nail down and everything from the bouquets, boutinaires to chuppa and center pieces were stunning! Her prices for the quality of her work are quite fair and her team a pleasure to work with.

The flower arrangements were exceptional. They captured exactly what we were looking for (even if when I couldn't put it eloquently into words!). I wasn't there when the flowers were delivered, but everything was set up and ready to go on time! The only thing (and it ended up being just fine in the end) was that the chuppah that they constructed was much much larger than we had discussed, so it through off some of the ceremonial plans that we had in place, but the chuppah itself was stunning and it frames all of our pictures so nicely. So I guess I'm glad we ended up with that one! Ahn is extremely professional and very easy to work with. They are a bit expensive, but well worth it in my opinion!

Designs by Ahn was a perfect decision for our May 12 wedding at Holy Trinity Catholic Church and Parker New York. Their work is so gorgeous and unique. They make even classic choices like white roses and peonies look new and interesting. They play with texture and shape in a way that is both traditional and classic while being totally modern and unexpected. I was in LOVE with everything about the absolutely beautiful work they did for us at our rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, and reception. The women on the admin team are so incredibly sweet, really quick to respond to emails and questions and are so thorough in everything they offer. They are so patient with changes and just really great to work with. All around - I would HIGHLY recommend Designs by Ahn and would, without a doubt, hire them again in the future!

Designs by Ahn was an easy choice for my wedding florist! I loved their work from pictures I had seen on instagram so knew I wanted to go with them as long as they were in my budget, and luckily they were! They were extremely reasonable when it came to cost and worked with me on my budget. My flowers were absolutely beautiful and exactly what I wanted. You didnt feel like you were getting cheated with volume either, the centerpieces and our bouquets were all filled with beautiful flowers and greens. Even the bud vases were much bigger than expected, so you really felt like you were getting value for your money which was so nice. They were so quick to respond to any email, and I had so many questions about candles, they were so sweet and flexible and worked with me until we figured out the best plan. Everything was beautiful and they made my day so special.

Outstanding! I was a week out from my Court House wedding and I realized I really wanted to have a Bouquet, Boutonnières and Corsages. I found Designs By Ahn and Emily and they were a lifesaver. All I gave them were my colors and two inspiration photos. The flowers that came were the most beautiful I've ever seen. My photographer told me that she took "an embarrassing amount" of pictures of my bouquet because it was the best she had ever seen. Every moment interacting with Emily at Designs by Ahn was easy, and quick. For a bride in the week leading up to her wedding I so appreciated it.

My wedding was at the beginning of September in 2017. I found Victoria from theKnot at the end of 2016 and I'm very happy about their beautiful work for our wedding! I talked to a couple of florists before I met Victoria, however, they either didn't have the style I want or cost too high. When I first walked into Victoria's office, I knew they could deliver my vision, because their florist arrangement, vases, candle holders, etc. in the office are exactly the style I'm looking for. We had two meetings before the wedding in person and I sent over all the pictures related to my vision for my wedding to the office through email. Victoria and her team are all very patient, polite and professional. On the wedding day, I was thrilled to see all the visions come to real life. Our guests gave us lots of the compliments of my bouquet and the decorations of the wedding. I will recommend Victoria to my friends and family going forward.

Victoria was absolutely amazing. She did exactly what she was supposed to do and she did a wonderful job of it. Incredible.

I used Designs by Ahn for my wedding and every person I've spoken to since has raved about the flowers (my wedding coordinator told me they're the best wedding flowers she's seen)! I met with Victoria 3 times before the wedding: 1 initial appointment when I was searching for a florist, 1 appointment about a week before my wedding to see the center pieces, and 1 meeting a couple of days before my wedding to see the bouquets. I'm not very knowledgeable about flowers, so I gave Victoria photos I had seen on Pinterest to show her my style and vision. Victoria and her team really understood what I wanted. When I saw the centerpieces I fell in love with them but wanted small changes with some of the colors of the flowers and on my wedding day they were perfect--exactly what I had in mind. Victoria and her team were responsive to emails and were always happy to make adjustments to the proposal over emails. Instead of seating cards, I wanted the seating chart written on mirrors (something I had seen on Pinterest!) and Victoria's team did a BEAUTIFUL job with the calligraphy and the mirrors. When I had guests cancel last-minute (like day before the wedding!) they happily and easily adjusted the chart and on the day of the wedding it was up to date and perfect. While I did assign sizable amount of my budget to flowers, I felt that Victoria's work was affordable and delivered beyond what I had expected for the amount that we paid. The day of the wedding I was in awe of what they produced, and every time I look at photos I am still blow away by the flowers and decor.

After meeting with/talking to over 20 florists (no exaggeration) in the NY area, Victoria seemed like a no-brainer. Aside from her beautiful aesthetic, she was really easy to work with. Most NY florists quoted me thousands over where we wanted to be, but Victoria was the only one who not only respected my budget, but made almost every single thing on my wish list possible within it. She gave honest opinions of what she thought was worth it - or what gave us the most bang for our buck - and I never felt like she was trying to oversell me on something I didn't need. I was a very nervous and indecisive bride - with LOTS of questions - and Victoria always made me feel like we could work through anything. She never said no! She was always upfront of what the cost implications would be or where we'd need to cut/get creative to make other things possible. I can't even tell you how many times I went to see her because I honestly lost count. She handled every visit and concern with professionalism and made me at ease with our design plan. She just wanted everything to be as perfect as I did. Even after our initial site visit, the venue changed the design of the reception area and she went out of her way to do another walk through with me! I can honestly say my breath was taken away when I saw the ceremony and reception areas for my wedding. EVERYTHING was stunning. Beyond what I even imagined. She truly made my vision come to life in ways I can't even begin to describe. Seeing her excitement on my wedding day, and how happy she was to see me and be a part of it, was such a joy. I am so, so happy I chose her to be my florist. If you want a thoughtful, hardworking, extremely talented NY florist that will work with you and your budget to make your dream wedding (I mean, who wouldn't?) book Victoria! I can't recommend her and her team enough. Her quality of work speaks for itself. But I hope this review speaks for all of the other intangible things a photo can't show you. :) Thanks Victoria!!!

After reading so many great reviews at Designs by Ahn, I was hoping to be impressed by them and their work. Unfortunately, while I was happy with certain things, for the most part I was disappointed. The bulk of my overall negative experience resulted from the fact that there seemed to be some serious lack of communication going on. I think that might have something to do with the fact that everyone there shares the same email account. For example, in advance of our sample arrangement meeting, I sent over some specific requests regarding color schemes to be incorporated into our designs (which my husband and I felt was necessary after Victoria barely asked us any questions about our vision when we first met with her). A different person replied to my emails every time, and as a result, our centerpiece sample did not reflect many of the requests we had submitted. Additionally, I was particularly bothered when, after we had submitted our entire balance payment to Victoria in person during our meeting, another person from her team emailed to say that our payment had not been received. It was highly unprofessional! We found their office to be very unprofessional as well. At both of our scheduled meetings, no one greeted us when we arrived and we had to wait awkwardly for some time before someone acknowledged us. Also, during the course of our second meeting, we were interrupted several times by dogs running over and jumping up as well as Victoria's young child. While we love dogs & kids, we found it frustrating to not have Victoria's attention during the course of our meeting. All that being said, we were reasonably happy with the final product. They didn't nail our vision, but they did incorporate a number of our requested changes and the flowers themselves were beautiful, fresh, and long lasting. Overall, I would not recommend booking with Designs by Ahn. While their prices are fairly reasonable, we found them to be too unprofessional to recommend.

Our venue recommended Victoria and we're so glad they did! She has a great eye for design and extremely reasonable prices. A few days before the wedding she was available for us to drop off some material from the bridesmaids dresses to wrap the bouquets, which were a lovely personal touch. She took our request to use sunflowers as the focal flower and built gorgeous centerpieces and a chuppah (marriage canopy) with that in mind. I had been hesitant about spending a lot on flowers but everything was tasteful and lovely, a perfect addition to a beautiful day!

I really can't say enough amazing things about Designs by Ahn, who provided the flowers and décor for my wedding this July. Starting with the first consultation, it was clear to me that Victoria and her team understood my vision (without me having to say much because I really don't know much about flowers and décor!). She also made sure to keep within our budget. Whenever I asked for something new, she would tell me right away whether it would impact it. She is creative when it comes to working within the budget - for example, she repurposed most if not all of our church flowers to be used at the cocktail hour and reception at no additional cost. Most importantly, the flowers and way she presented them were beyond my wildest dreams. I am not an emotional person and I cried when my venue gave me a private room reveal. Her taste is incredible and she works magic. Additionally, she and her team were easy to work with and very kind (non-intimidating, unlike other NYC florists). Also, her pricing is very fair. I met with other florists and they quoted me thousands of dollars more for the same thing. You will not regret choosing Designs by Ahn! I am already thinking of throwing other events just so I can work with them again - and I was never a flowers person before this!

Our June 23 wedding was just beautiful, thanks to the absolutely stunning arrangements Victoria and her team created. As soon as I saw DBA's website, I fell in love with her aesthetic -- just so elegant and lovely. Working with Victoria was a breeze; we talked through our aesthetic once, and then met her to see a sample that just nailed it. Day of, things were perfect: All of the personal flowers at the church were on-point and accounted for (even though we'd made some week-of changes -- late, but she was so kind to accommodate!). The altar flowers were stunning, and then her team moved them to the reception, despite it being over the Williamsburg Bridge on a rush-hour Friday. So many guests commented on the flowers, and just how gorgeous they were. HIGHLY recommend Victoria! You will not be disappointed.

It was the day after wedding day but I have to say, I (and everyone else) was so impressed with your artistry in the bouquet and boutonnière! Never have I seen such an amazing and beautiful compilation of flowers. I wish they would last forever, (although they did last for several days after even without a proper water vase!). It really made our elopement that much more perfect. Our photographer made sure to capture their beauty for our memory. Thank you so much!

Designs by Ahn did the flowers for our wedding ceremony and reception in Chelsea New York this April. They did an incredible job, from the planning stages to the event. The office staff, who coordinated with us ahead of the event, were wonderful to work with and top professionals. Victoria has a great aesthetic eye and is so easy to work with. Design sensibility is key when planning an event this grand and she does it with ease, style and grace! They were always quick to respond. And even though we made changes up until the last moment they never had a problem with it. On the wedding day, the blossoms in the church were perfect, in size, color and stature, and they put them in a perfect spot, where they created a beautiful archway for me to walk through. For the reception, the tables were more than exquisite. They helped me order and choose the tablecloths from a huge array of books that they had and they coordinated all of the details. I purchased some items for the table and rented others, and again they were flexible with it all. The florals were a muted tonality that matched my dress, which was a mocha cocoa blush color. They were perfect and talked about by all! They came in and set everything up during the day so by the time I walked in it was perfection! We used candelabras, candles, and votive candles, and these were magnificent and just as we had envisioned for the space. The professional way that Victoria’s team worked and got the job done was very much appreciated by all. They handled any last minute details and situations on the spot, were incredible to work with all the way from set up, moving the pieces from the chapel to the reception area, and the break down organization. We felt honored to work with Designs by Ahn and would highly recommend them to all. I am a lifestyle expert and also wrote a wedding book, so I was very particular about the aesthetic and the team I chose was very important to me.
