m us: guest list, music, final touches, etc. The vendor did not have pictures of menu selections which made choosing our dishes harder. We also had a lot of questions as the wedding approached and we would wait a while for responses. We didn't have much say over the wedding day timeline as it was given to us 2 days prior to the wedding date so we were unable to print things for our guests. Since the timeline is created by the vendor we also didn't have much of a say as to how the day would proceed. When it came to the wedding day the timeline was crunched. I (bride) had my makeup/hair scheduled last which went over and left the photographer waiting for me. Since the resort is massive and golf carts are the main source of travel some wedding party members and family were not picked up in time and were late for photos etc. The day continued on despite these small setbacks. The reception felt short as everything was go go go! First dances, speeches with dinner and then dancing! I think my one complain it that because the resort is so huge there were many weddings and other events happening at the same time or overlapping. As soon as we finishes photos at the wedding people started showing up and sitting down as a rehearsal was scheduled in the same spot. Then their was a large welcome event on the beach in front of my reception and during speeches you could hear that events music/speeches and see the fire show they had going on, which kind of took you away from the moment. Since the beach was accessible from our reception venue people were trying to cut through despite the "private event" sign and my coordinator didn't try to stop them. Some of my guests confided in me that they felt the coordinator was unkind to them as well. Additionally, when taking photos outside the flies swarmed my bouquet, the boutonnieres, and the corsages. I am glad I didn't spend hundreds of dollars on additional floral arrangements as I could only imagine the amount of flies swarming on landing of guests.

We had some snags with the wedding planner, rooms and resort and she was an amazing advocate for us and we got everything we wanted and more. She was patient with some of our family who needed some extra help and was a very timely communicator with all of us. I was expecting a stressful wedding planning process but she made it actually enjoyable.

She is the best and we are so glad we have her by our side when we’re planning our next anniversary vacation!
