We had a great experience working with Detailed Affairs Team (DAT). Our lead planner, Arun Bhambri, was kind, diligent, and very professional. Arun was incredibly responsive and communicative with us via e-mail, Whatsapp, cell. He always made himself available to us and would give us hours of his time for certain calls. Arun provided us with all of the detailed information we needed, and recommended great vendors while working within our budget. I found that DAT was one of the more affordable wedding planners as well, especially for big South Asian weddings. Arun and his team kept us organized and on track throughout the entire planning process. Arun had great working relationships with our DJ (Gaurav Sood) and Max (the manager at our venue, Crystal Plaza), which made the planning go more smoothly. Through DAT, we received a discount on all of our stationery purchased on www.minted.com, which was really nice. My personal attendant on our wedding day, Dhara, was so thoughtful and helpful. She anticipated my needs and waited on me like I was royalty. My husband’s personal attendant, Drishti, was great as well. The DAT team always made sure we had enough to eat and drink at all times. We highly recommend them as they helped make our magical weekend wedding dreams come true!

Detailed Affairs Team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We booked the day of coordination. Our wedding lead was Arun and our on site coordinators were Anmol, Dhrishti, Dhara and Gia. Arun and Anmol worked with us a couple months prior to the wedding and were extremely helpful. They helped me figure out the outstanding items that I had left, suggested vendors, and helped me with the timelines. Arun planned our site walkthrough a month before with our venue vendors, and families. On the day of, I had absolutely nothing to worry about! The team took care of all the details. For example, it rained throughout the entire day of my wedding. Arun brought and umbrella and we got beautiful pictures in the rain. Dhrishti, Anmol and Dhara were also helpful throughout the day- making sure I was hydrated, helped me carry my lengha and veil, etc. Our ceremony, vidai, and lunch all went according to plan without ANY time delay. Our reception order of events (speeches, dances etc) was perfectly planned and executed. Even months after our wedding, I continue to receive compliments regarding the coordination and organization. The best part of the entire day is that the team took care of everything and I didn't have to stress. I would highly recommend Detailed Affairs Team without hesitation.

The Detailed Affairs Team made our wedding weekend the most enjoyable experience for us and our guests. I can't express enough gratitude to Arun for his patience and reassuring messages when I would panic over anything and everything. He was so attentive to each detail during our planning calls, with a quick glimpse he even caught that there was no RSVP date on our wedding cards just before they were printed. The onsite coordination team was beyond anything we could've expected, they became our best friends for the day and anticipated every need. Drishti helped me fix my sangeet lehenga when it wasn't flaring correctly, Melissa ensured Parth was always on time (a miracle!), and Anmol, bless her heart, deserves an award for lifting my 30-pound wedding lehenga with ease when I needed to use the restroom and made me laugh all day long. A special thank you to Arun, Tripti, Pooja, Dhrishti and Melissa for helping us coordinate our wedding events. We hired the DAT for our Sangeet, Wedding, and Reception and all of our events were executed perfectly! Our guests were impressed by how timely all of our events were and how organized our schedule was. Tripti, Pooja, Dhrishti & Melissa were angels and helped us stay calm and excited. They made sure I was hydrated and having fun. It was great to know that someone was looking out for us on our big day. One big area of help was with room layouts and general timelines. The DAT team thought through things like table lengths for our reception and guest flow very well. We also really appreciated that we felt heard; we wanted to do things a bit differently and the DAT "can-do" attitude was great!

Detailed Affairs was THE best decision we made for our wedding day. Our wedding was complex, multicultural, and we had a lot of voices and opinions from family members. Arun and Gia were able to help us really focus on what WE truly desired as a couple and they ALWAYS pushed us to get the best of the best for us. Our ceremony started very early and we had a jam packed day - leading up to our wedding day Gia and Arun were on top of every single detail. They made sure they had contact details (phone number and email) for every family member, bridesmaids, groomsmen, and even our dog sitter!! They made sure that they had all the tools we needed to be successful and minimize the stress for us on our wedding day. On the day of, I actually never knew what time it was, I simply followed the instructions of their team and knew they would handle it - this helped my husband and I have an amazing time. Arun and Gia always guided us in the right direction, even if we didn’t see it at the time. For example, since our morning ceremony was very early, we were debating on if we wanted certain photos in the morning. They advised us not to skip out on those photos because they would be great memories to keep. Looking back, we are SO happy we listened to them. Gia also heavily leaned in with helping manage opinions and voices of family members. Our family was a lot at times, but she was calm and managed everyone with respect and grace. It takes a lot of patience and tolerance to be able to keep your cool amidst chaos, and for that I truly appreciate Gia. On the day of, Amnol was a sweetheart, I (the bride) was overly nervous about all the details of my wedding coming together and she was there to calm me down, bring me anything I needed, help me with my dress, you name it. I spent most of my “behind the scenes” time with her my whole wedding day and it was great! Detailed affairs even helped me with last minute clothing decisions, they facetimed me at 9pm at night on a week day just to help me pick out jewelry. They truly went above and beyond to meet our every need. We were able to truly see how much passion and care they put into their work, there were times they talked/helped us even though they really didn’t need to - but they did because they cared about us a lot. We felt so supported and guided throughout the entire process. We are so grateful that Detailed affairs was able to help us plan and execute this special day with for. From the bottom of our hearts, I could not thank them enough.

Arun and his team were so helpful throughout our wedding planning process. He had so many great vendor recommendations and took our concerns to heart when working to develop our timeline with us. We had a fusion indian - american wedding and the team was great about accommodating modifications. A true testament to the help of the team - we didn't have Arun's team booked for some of our smaller events and gathering family for pictures during those events was so stressful compared to when Arun's team did it for us during the other events! The team even helped to make sure we were eating, staying hydrated, and helping me carry me lenghas while walking! Such a pleasure working with them and truly so helpful to have with you on your special day.

Arun and the team were an amazing and integral part of our wedding!! We are fairly organized people and were initially on the fence about getting a planner but now we are so glad we did! We got the day-of-coordination package, and the best part is that the team helps for months before the wedding to make sure the day will run smoothly. Arun gave us spreadsheets, lists, and things we needed to get to make the day organized - then had several calls with us to check in as the date came closer. The days of, we didn’t have to think of a thing and there were no hiccups or issues - everything went exactly as we hoped. Everything ran on time (!), the team made sure we ate dinner and even brought my favorite dessert to me on the dance floor :). If you are even considering using DAT…I can tell you it is 100% worth it!

Everyone is hesitant about booking a wedding planner for their big day, but choosing Detailed Affairs Team (DAT) was one of the best decisions we made by-far for our wedding. Having a work from home job, I felt that I was going to be able to handle all of our wedding planning on my own. However, with the stress building up day by day, with all the smaller details of a wedding piling up, it was time to make some phone calls. With our first conversation with Arun over the phone, we knew that he and his team (Gia, Dhara, Anmol, and Tripti) were the ones that we could trust to make our vision become a reality. He went over all the smallest of details and obstacles that could ever come up before and during our wedding, and made us realize that we couldn’t do this without him and his team. From the first phone call to the day of the event, they made sure to provide us with all the details possible for our wedding. Arun and his team were available any time of the day to answer any of our calls and help with some of their own inputs to make our special day just that much more memorable. On the day of, Arun and his team put in all their efforts for us to make sure every little wish of ours was fulfilled. They ensured and double checked that there were no mishaps with the numerous dietary restrictions we had; they assisted us in adding our own personal champagne tags to all our welcome drinks; they helped in coordinating a first look, not with only the family, but also with the bridal party; they took care of us by making sure we were always fed and hydrated on our big day (of course, using straws so that my lipstick wouldn’t get messed up!), and made sure we got enough sleep before our big day. All of this would not have been possible for a bride and groom to control on the day of. With all the minor things we wanted to incorporate into our big day, DAT was there to make sure everything was just how we envisioned it and more! They truly made the whole day flow so smoothly; to this day, we still hear some of our guests tell us how impressed they were with the planning and felt as though it was very well managed. Clearly, DAT not only made us feel relieved and stress-free on the day of, but also made this wedding such a memorable one for so many of our guests. Throughout the whole process, they truly made us feel special and hyped us up all the way through the end of our reception night. We feel so honored to be able to work with them for our wedding. If the thought of hiring a wedding planner ever crosses your mind, I would recommend Arun and his team to clear all your doubts! DAT dotted all the i's and crossed all the t’s for us!

Arun, Anmol, Dhrishiti and the team were perfect! We loved their attention to detail and their help in getting even the smallest of issues sorted for us to have the perfect wedding and we had so many issues. Those issues included the bridesmaid suite not being open on time, the rain preventing the decorator from decorating till 4am, my skirt tassels falling apart last minute, etc. Anmol was the best bridal assistant I could ask for. She was a ray of sunshine when I'd freak out at the smallest issue. She was always there ready with a straw as to not ruin my makeup and reminding/helping me use the bathroom. All in all, you won't be sorry if you hire the Detailed Affairs Team for all your wedding planning needs. Arun and his team are the best of the best.

We hired Detailed Affairs Team for their ‘day of coordination services.’ Arun and Gia started helping us plan few months before the wedding and they were absolutely wonderful to work with. As the bride, I was very particular about every detail of the day, from the songs to the type of pictures I wanted, and Arun and Gia were very patient the entire time. They were always available to answer any questions we had, no matter the time of day. They provided great insight and advice and helped us create the perfect timeline for the wedding. The day of our wedding, Gia and the team were extremely thoughtful, helpful, and executed the timeline seamlessly. They carried emergency items for whenever we needed something and there were many times when we needed safety pins, Q-tips, napkins, etc. Dhara assisted me throughout the event and was absolutely wonderful. She carried my lipgloss with her, assisted me by lifting my ridiculously heavy lahenga and helped me change as well. The DAT was so much fun to work with--they got along with all our friends and family and took part in some of the wedding shenanigans as well. What I really appreciated is even though Arun had another event the same night, he still made the time to stop by our event to say ‘hi’ and to make sure everything went smoothly. Bottom line is Arun and his team are absolutely amazing! I can’t thank DAT enough for making our wedding so special and stress-free.

We used Arun and his team for our (very large) engagement party and could not say enough good things about them. From start to finish, they were so professional and helpful we 100% could not have pulled off our event without them. Day of, the team was phenomenal at making sure everything was running on schedule, wrangling 600 guests, and making sure my fiancee and I were able to enjoy our day with minimal stress. So, so happy we decided to hire Detailed Affairs, they made our engagement so special!

10/10 we would not only recommend everyone get a weekend coordinator if it fits in their budget for their wedding, but 1000% we would recommend the Detailed Affairs Team! Right from our very first call we knew they were the team we wanted to work with because we could tell how attentive to detail they were. I as the bride am extremely OCD so I wanted to make sure we were giving up control to the right hands, and we totally did! Leading up to the wedding they would constantly answer our many questions, give us tips, and get us pumped up for our special weekend. During the weekend itself they took care of everything ranging from big things- like when one of our shuttles didn't show up they called the vendor dispatch to sort it out, to the little things like making sure in between photos we had water (with straws to not mess up makeup). We honestly could go on and on about everything the team did for us but overall in the end, they were one of the largest if not THE REASON our wedding weekend went off without a hitch. We and our family could actually enjoy our wedding because we didn't have to take care of anything. Thank you so much to Arun who was our wedding lead and whom I would trust my life with, as well as our on-site coordinators who never left our sides, Tripti, Dhara, Roshni, Melissa. We owe the whole team a huge thanks from the bottom of our hearts.

We started planning our wedding in Feb 2021 for a June 2021 date. After lots of uncertainty with venues, vaccinations, and wedding details, what we tried to accomplish in a few short months was quite an undertaking. We decided on an NYC rooftop wedding ceremony, followed by lunch, and cocktail style reception all in one day with a different set of guests at each event to keep our overall headcount down. Knowing we needed serious help to make it happen, we brought the Detailed Affairs team in about 6 weeks before the wedding after our first failed attempt with a different wedding planner. If you take one thing away from this review it’s this: the team had their work cut out for them and delivered exceptionally. We cannot say enough good things about Arun and his team. From the very beginning, they helped ensure we would get the wedding we wanted and frankly the wedding that was feasible given the conditions we laid out. As a project manager, I pride myself in my organization and ability to execute and my only wish was that we brought them in sooner. The team’s responsibilities were as follows: help us create a detailed schedule of the day, coordinate with he vendors to ensure they had the info they needed, and to think through the potential mishaps and overlooked details. From scheduling arrival times, to sending text reminders to the bridal party, to ensuring everything ran smoothly day off, the team lived up to their names. When it came to creating the final timeline for the day, the team was able to identify numerous areas in which my initial draft had overlooked or had not thought to plan out. They also knew which areas I needed to schedule more or buffer time for events and where to cut time, which was important considering how much we were packing into the day. Though it was organized last minute, Arun made it a point to make it to come to the walkthrough and help figure out how to ensure the caterers had all they needed to serve two events in one day, how the layout should look for all the events, how to flip the space from ceremony to lunch to reception, and was able to foresee all the potential ways we might run into issues and proactively worked to alleviate them. A few weeks later, the morning of the wedding came, and in came the team bright and excited to make the day special with their matching, shirts, masks, and walkie talkies. From escorting the bridal party to and from the main room, to ensuring the DJs had a way to get their equipment up the stairs when the venue elevator broke, to personally bringing us our iced coffee and bagels, they made sure the day went off without a hitch (and when there were issues, they were taken care of quickly and seamlessly). Ultimately, I am so grateful to Arun and the whole Detailed Affairs Team for their patience and commitment to making our day so special for us. Through the hurdles that planning a COVID wedding threw at us, they had exceptional thought, service, and kindness throughout the whole process. I recommend them to anyone looking to plan a wedding in the near future. You would be in the best of hands.

If you’re thinking of a wedding vendor that will listen and make your day a breeze then look no further!! I was going back and forth with even wanting a planner due to our wedding being around the time covid restrictions were still in place and we weren’t sure our wedding was even happening. I was lucky enough that Arun and his team were available but if I were you, I would book them ASAP!! From the time we hired Arun and the team they went right to work and started organizing every little detail you can imagine. Things we tend to forget were all accounted for which was a major help. Arun came with us to our venue and spoke with our other vendors on our behalf and that definitely made me feel like we were in good hands. Now the day of the event, as a bride, I had a bridal assistant along with the rest of the team that made sure everything went smoothly. I don’t think I can imagine my day going that well and smooth if it weren’t for his team. My favorite was my bridal assistant Anmol who was like my shadow throughout the whole day and made sure I had everything I wanted. Not only did they make sure I as a bride was taken care of but they ensured everyone in both my families had everything they needed and were well supported. My mom who at first wasn’t convinced about getting a wedding planner, right after the wedding told me it was the best money we’ve ever spent and I couldn’t agree more. They’re worth everything and more!! Love the team and I can’t recommend them enough!

Arun and his team played a critical part in helping us pull off the dream big Indian wedding that we had always wanted. They helped us not only wrangle 300+ guests throughout the weekend but made the day so smooth and seamless that my husband and I didn't need to worry about a thing. Before, during, and even after the wedding Arun and his team were so responsive to all our questions, kept us on track, helped us find vendors, and made sure we were hydrated! We're 100% sure that the day wouldn't have been nearly as perfect as it was without the Detailed Affairs Team! Arun is a true expert and guided us through every minute detail leading up the wedding. He is clearly so experienced and it's a gift to be able to leverage that experience for your wedding day. What can I say about Arun and the entire Detailed Affairs team. We decided to go with Arun after he planned my SIL’s wedding.It was PERFECT so without a second doubt we wanted him to be our planner and it was the best decision we could have made. Our wedding was in middle of pandemic and we had issues with vendors regarding guest counts and tiny details. Arun would step in and helped us with everything . He listened and delivered! The day of the wedding was flawless! Arun and his team took care of every little detail…Dhara was so sweet and just AMAZING. She was by my side the whole time and made sure my duputta was just right, my necklace was not in the wrong direction, etc. I could feel I was such a happy bride and was not stressed at all.That is all thanks to Arun and his team who took care of every little detail from our morning coffee to vendor payments to making sure we had food waiting for us when we got back to our room after the reception especially lots of desserts :) I highly recommend Arun and his team for future couples. If you don’t want to be stress HIRE them.

Arun and the Detailed Affairs Team were the best and most important of all of our wedding vendors. Right from the beginning, they went above and beyond to make sure our other vendors were all perfect fits and everything was perfectly organized. Arun was obsessed with making sure we were happy and comfortable and focusing on having a great time instead of having to sweat any details. If we had a question, he had an answer. If an issue popped up, he took care of it. And when the wedding week rolled around, they were absolutely perfect. We trusted them fully and they made sure that everything went smoothly. We were at ease during our whole wedding day knowing everything would be taken care of, from wakeup to the dance floor at the end of the night. The attendants were great, the planning was great, and the coordination of events and other vendors was seamless. We really can't say enough good things about Arun, Anmol, Melissa, Amy and the rest of the team, and we would absolutely, unequivocally recommend them to anyone planning a wedding.

They are the best wedding planners. They were handling my best friends (Nikhil & Trushti) wedding and i’d like to say it was awesome. Every minute detail was looked into and they made sure that everything was on time. I highly recommend them to future couples.

Where do I even begin? Planning a wedding is already so stressful, but adding COVID to the mix makes it even more complicated. Arun was so good at handling all the details and made sure we didn't drop the ball on anything. We had to change our venue about 10 days before the wedding, but I was not stressed at all because I knew Arun would be there for us. There was a point where I was completely over this wedding, but he made sure to stay positive and continuously reminded me that love is not cancelled. I know it sounds so cliche, but you really start to believe it because it's true. The day of the wedding, the entire team came in with so much energy! I was so excited to get the day started. The team made sure Sagar and I were comfortable, had snacks and water available and were constantly checking in with us. We were actually way ahead of schedule, which was amazing because when does that ever happen at a guju wedding! All the onsite coordinators did a great job at making sure everything was perfect. All the small details, like the reserve signs and the sanitizing stations were perfect.  The entire team is so professional and thoughtful. They truly care about every detail as if it is their own event. Having Detailed Affairs be a part of my wedding was probably one of the best decisions I could have made. The vendor you NEED for your wedding I cannot stress this enough - this was the best money we could of spent for our wedding. Planning a multi-culture/dual-religion wedding is no easy feat...add on a global pandemic, multiple postponements, and endless vendor emails - it is easy to say we could not have done this without Arun & his amazing team. They were there for us every step of the way & went completely above and beyond what they were hired to do. They brought such ease to us & our families the weeks leading up to our weddings and of course on both days of our ceremonies. We had a traditional Sikh ceremony and traditional Catholic ceremony...so for guests that were unfamiliar with these traditions we knew we could count on Arun & his team to assist them. They helped us to make sure we had all COVID-19 protocols in place so everyone felt extremely safe and comfortable. I was completely blown away by the teams professionalism and I do not know what we would have done without them. I cannot recommend them enough & will guarantee you will not regret hiring this team!!

He was always reachable and took the time to listen, understand our preferences, and help create a vision for our wedding. We opted for the full package. Hands down this was the best decision ever. Arun and his team guided us through each step of the process and exceeded our expectations. His attention to detail is impeccable, his wedding industry knowledge, and contacts made for a seamless experience. Our wedding was originally intended to be held internationally, however to due to the uncertainty of COVID he helped us plan a smaller intimate backyard wedding with less than a months notice, and even officiated the ceremony. Even months later our guests continue to tell us how well planned and beautiful the ceremony was. Absolutely nothing negative to say about Arun and the Detailed Affairs Team! We originally booked Arun for our wedding scheduled in May 2020, and he continued to support us through our multiple date and venue changes. While I originally wasn't certain that a Day-Of coordinator was necessary, Arun's organization, communication, and support throughout the process and leading into the day of our wedding and reception, served to be phenomenal. In retrospect, I don't know how we would have pulled off such an incredible event without the Detailed Affairs Team. Arun and his team communicated efficiently and effectively with all of our vendors, venue, bridal parties, and family to make a very chaotic and hectic Indian wedding come together, especially during the pandemic. Safety was always a top priority and Arun's team pulled it off! Arun will save you from so many episodes of panic, stress and headache during your wedding planning and day-of! His ability to work seamlessly with all of the vendors and venue staff is something I can truly commend him and his team on. I cannot recommend Detailed Affairs Team enough for your wedding or event. Arun made an almost impossible event during a very difficult time, a reality beyond our wildest dreams!

We hired Detailed Affairs Team for my daughter’s wedding. Words can’t express how amazing they were to handle everything for us. Due to covid-19, many of the events, locations and vibes were all changed but the team still amazed us. They took care of all the details in helping us postpone and bring the vision to life in o cozy and intimate setting. We went from a 600+ anticipated guest list to about 60. Everything was perfect. Further on the day of the wedding, we weren’t bothered in anyway with handling the vendors or the logistics. They made sure we were on time and more importantly constantly reminded us to smile throughout the day. The entire team on site worked diligently in their respective roles. As a parent, I only know bits and pieces of all the planning. I know they spent endless hours with the children to map out many other details. At the end of the day it was just flawless. Please consider this professional team for your wedding.

Arun and his team did a phenomenal job coordinating our wedding ceremony and reception. During the planning process Arun was so helpful and was there for us when we needed him. His attention to detail is spectacular and thanks to him and his team my husband and I were able to have a stress free wedding! Every moment, they were by our side and made sure everything I had spent months planning had been fully executed! From setting our program cards on the chairs, to bringing us Starbucks the morning of our wedding, they didn’t miss a beat. The most memorable moment was when my husband’s niece (8 months at that time) was crying during our family photos and Arun remembered my sister in law saying she loved the song “itsy bitsy spider”, so he started singing the song to distract her and it worked! It was the sweetest and most genuine gesture and one of the reasons we love the Detail Affairs team so much. The morning of the ceremony, from getting ready in the hotel room all the way to the point we walked down the aisle, Dhara was with me and Anmol was with my husband making sure we were taken care of and had everything we needed even before we knew we needed it. I remember being really nervous before my entrance and Dhara pulled out my favorite chocolate and said “have this, it’ll make you feel better”. The reception night, Arun made sure all our belongings were packed up and in the bridal suite, along with some food for us because he knew we didn’t eat anything. There was a point in the night where a bunch of our family and friends were taking paan shots in the other room with the food, and Arun knew we wouldn’t want to miss that moment, so he pulled us over to take shots with our family and friends! It’s the little details that really stood out to us and we’re so happy we hired the Detail Affairs Team to help make our wedding magical.
