e. Alessandra was so sweet throughout the process and helped us throughout all of the changes we dealt with. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, and was everything we dreamed of thanks to Alessandra and the Details, Darling team!

She picked up our conversations with vendors, she translated our style into a gorgeous design (with an upcoming blog feature!), and smoothly executed all of the details. Kenzie's creativity, professionalism, positivity, collaboration, and proactivity allowed us to actually enjoy that amazing season in our lives. Many times throughout, with the weight of the global pandemic weighing on us as we dealt with downsizing, restrictions etc, I would ask Kenzie in a panic: "Is our wedding gonna happen? Are we gonna be okay?" and Kenzie would always smile and say "I'm not worried at all". I'll never know if she was secretly scrambling to make it happen behind the scenes because she kept her word and protected us from the fray. Our wedding was the small, intimate, fun, high-energy, blow out destination event that we dreamed about and our day was calm, smooth, and filled with joy. I can't recommend Details, Darling and Kenzie specifically enough for making our dreams come true in a little less than six months!

am at Details Darling have absolutely blown us away throughout the entire process of working with them. When any bride and groom think about what they want in a planner/coordinator, a few things come to mind: ease of use, having a vision, and a true partnership. Aubrey exceeds every single one of these qualities by a landslide. Simply put, I don’t know how she does it. She has an eye for design unlike anyone or anything I’ve ever seen on HGTV. She is incredibly quick to respond, knows the industry like the back of her hand, and *gets* *things* *done*. She could rule the world without a second of hesitation! Aubrey helped us plan and navigate not one but two weddings, the first of which was just a couple of weeks ago 3/13 at Sunset Cliffs. She planned and designed the whole thing and we couldn’t have asked for more. Aubrey “gets” us like no other. A great example of this is when she incorporated a small anecdote from mine and my husband (!!!)’s first date into an absolutely breathtaking design display with the words “hooked from the start”, complete with books, guitars, and all of the little interests and quirks that make us, well, us. Her ability to execute on a vision is truly unmatched and we are beyond grateful. If you’re reading this review, consider your homework done for the day. Details, Darling is your company, and Aubrey is your gal. Part 2: Monica at Details, Darling & A Raw Collection Photography: Monica at A Raw Collection is nothing short of a dream. I mean, a dream. She is the most lovely, pleasant, enthusiastic person to her core, and this permeates throughout every aspect of her work. It’s rare that you meet someone who genuinely loves what they do as much as Monica does. She’s not just capturing photos. She’s capturing moments, and telling YOUR story knowing that it is completely unique to you. From the very first conversation I had with Monica, she was as enthusiastic and full of excitement as my husband (!!!) and I were for our big day. She had us fill out an intake form that asked questions that any average vendor would never think of. She is thoughtful, intentional, and we very simply put could not have asked for more. Having Monica simply *there* on our big day was also such a joy. She spreads her excitement and genuine happiness with every shot she takes, and we couldn’t be more grateful. So excited that we selfishly get round two in November thanks to COVID, because we just can’t get enough of her work! Thank you, Monica, we will be recommending A Raw Collection to anyone and everyone we know for the rest of time!

ride (I'm guessing there are plentyyyyy of you here), this experience could've been, well, awful. It could've been stressful. It could've been UGLY. There could've been tears. I can say with absolute certainty that planning not one but now TWO weddings with Aubrey has been nothing short of an absolute treat. From the initial consultation to the day where we received the design board she put together, everything has felt SO personal. Tiny details or mentions you forget even referencing make their way into the design of the soon-to-be-best-day-of-your-life, and you're left scratching your head asking "how did she think of that?". If you're looking for a wedding planning team that will give you the feeling of knowing you better than yourselves, these gals are IT. I'll be posting another glowing review once (both of) our weddings go off without a hitch, but had to express my gratitude throughout this process. If you're doing your due diligence and considering any other wedding planners, save yourself some time and pour a glass of wine instead. You've already found them.

We will never forget the excitement of the mood board, the fun tasting and floral/decor walkthrough with Aubrey, the gorgeous and informative venue walkthrough together, and the whole wedding weekend - from rehearsal to wedding to reception. Aubrey really made sure the wedding day was as perfect as could be. Sending timeline in advance so we knew exactly what was happening when (really making Lawrence and me feel at ease right when we woke up on wedding day), and then being as assisting and thoughtful on the day of. I love how Aubrey came in to hair and makeup to say “hi!” and check in, as well as how visible she was when we needed her, but how behind the scenes she was when everything was going swimmingly well. She also provided me with an extremely thoughtful wedding gift, which I was able to include on my bouquet. Thank you. And finally setting up our bungalow for after the wedding beautifully was such a lovely surprise. Lawrence and I couldn’t imagine pulling off our magical desert oasis celebration without Aubrey and Team Details Darling. Thank you for always being available via email, text, phone... and for assisting when it was down to the wire (because planning a wedding is stressful enough but during a pandemic was even more stressful). So happy we were able to execute our celebration of love just as we planned 2 years prior! Aubrey, you will always hold a special place in our heart. We can’t thank you enough!

I am a very organized person and a bit of a control freak but I had no problem handing everything over to Alessandra because I knew how detailed she is! To top it off she basically helped me plan and organize two weddings. Two venue walkthroughs, layouts, and timelines. When we had to cancel our original wedding date (due to COVID) she was the first call I made. In the month following there were many phone call exchanges where I simply just needed her advice and she gladly always offered it so positive and so helpful. She was such a blessing throughout my wedding planning process and I know that everything would not have been as seamless without her! The day of, again she was nothing short of amazing, everything was perfect and she was there whenever I needed anything and made sure the day ran exactly as planned. I am sad I don't get to work with her anymore, but soon to be brides please book with Detail Darling they really are such an amazing team!

It was apparent to us that instead of that being something that bothered her as our planner (which I've heard can happen sometimes), she took it on as a challenge and use it as motivation to meet our expectations . She went above and beyond. Looking back on our experience with this team, I get overwhelmed with joy because I can't imagine for even a second, planning our wedding without Aubrey. "Details Darling" could not be a more perfect name for this team, because they thought of quite literally EVERY LAST DETAIL (My guests noticed them all, it was very special). I think beyond all of that, one of my favorite parts about my experience with Aubrey, is that I also feel like we have become friends and I will know her for a long time. She has the ability to establish a relationship very quickly with the people she meets and works with, and you almost get the feeling that she is just as excited about your big day as you are. Aubrey was incredibly professional throughout the entire planning process, and she provided honest feedback about how to stick within our budget. I consider myself very organized but not very design-savvy, so she implemented all of our design "ideas" into a perfect mood board that captured exactly the feel we wanted for the wedding. She referred us to almost all of our amazing vendors, who were priced in our price range. Aubrey responded to emails and texts immediately and even sent (very polite) follow-up reminders to make sure we stayed on task. She struck the perfect balance of ensuring we were staying on top of our to-do list without ever making us feel more stressed. Aubrey was always willing to hop on a call or review photos of random fabric swatches in the middle of the day. After our ceremony, she even had two glasses of champagne and a plate of appetizers waiting for us! Apparently at our reception there was a mix-up for the seating chart for some of our guests sitting at the wrong table, and she handled it seamlessly (without us ever knowing about it on the night of the wedding). Two of my (very picky) friends also used Aubrey as their planners, and they also can't recommend Details, Darling enough. Thank you for making the whole process so easy, Aubrey!

To me, those compliments are the biggest testament to Aubrey's skill as a wedding planner. I cannot recommend Aubrey more highly.

She was so positive and even when I thought something was impossible, she made it happen and was so cheerful about it! Our wedding ceremony was about a 20 min drive from the reception and Alessandra made sure everything was set up perfectly at both locations and somehow was still present for all of it! As it was leading up to the wedding I told her that I trusted her to place any of our decor wherever she wanted because I knew she would execute my vision so well! I’m sad it is all over and that we don’t talk as often because she’s truly the best coordinator and person ever!!

She was an exceptional problem solver (as we had a LOT more than expected). She stepped in and worked our rehearsal dinner last minute without any complaint and stayed up all night to finalize our escort table details!! h the overall design of our wedding but decided to go with the full wedding coordination package. From our first meeting, we felt she heard all our wants, wishes and concerns, and carried them through the entire 10 month process. We didn’t want a traditional wedding, and she suggested many ideas that were unique yet still fit our personalities. She kept us on schedule even though I keep a super busy work schedule, often times traveling in other countries. She made fantastic vendor suggestions for the DJ, florist, graphic designer, caterer, photographer, etc. it was often hard to choose one. And everyone was incredibly professional and fun, which adds to the overall energy of the day. On the day of the wedding, everything went seamlessly. The general consensus from the guests was that it was the best wedding they’ve attended. My partner and I were so incredibly impressed with the design, coordination, details and fun they made our wedding. The guests commented on how friendly and helpful the service was. I never once worried about something happening or not happening. Mackenzie and Monica ran a tight ship with a smile. My partner and I both work in film production and understand how stressful running an event can be, and appreciated how Mackenzie and Monica handled everything with ease. They truly made a very special day for us and all our guests. I’m just sad our time together has come to an end. I’ll definitely be reaching out for my next event or party. I never expected a wedding planner to be as invested as she was and she went above and beyond my expectations for what a planner would do. I booked the vendors (after recommendations from her) and she would take it from there. She has great relationships with vendors and we could tell that they all love working with her, which resulted in a totally harmonious wedding, in terms of style, design and vibes. One thing that particularly makes her amazing is how thoughtfully she organized all the information I gave her. She never missed a single detail, I never had to say the same thing twice, she caught mistakes I had made because she triple-checked everything I gave her, and she anticipated my needs before I even raised them. She appreciated my crazy excel sheets and instructions and improved upon them. She made sure that I was kept up to date with any developments and made sure I was aware of everything that was going on - even last minute shake-ups with our venue a few days before the wedding - but made me feel secure that she would handle everything smoothly, which she did perfectly. Most importantly, she is as cool as a cucumber and is a wonderfully pleasant person to be around. By the end of the wedding, I was sad I wouldn’t be working with her anymore because I enjoyed the process so much. Everyone at my wedding appreciated her calm, patient and warm presence. Alessandra and her team are absolutely the best.

king with Aubrey after I found my venue and I honestly wish I found her sooner. She is so well connected and has so many great ideas. I never felt insecure about anything that was going on during the whole process. She never pressured me to spend more money and gave me options. The day of the wedding I could really see how much she loves her job, everything was so organized and beautiful. She added so many sweet little touches, with even just how the napkins were placed. I wish I had more time to take it all in. I was lucky to have the privilege to see everything before guests arrived because we did a first look and I just about died. Everything that Aubrey and her dream team did for our wedding was amazing I could go on and on. One very small touch that meant a lot to me was that the night before the wedding she asked my mom what side of the aisle she would like to sit on. I know this sounds silly, but it truly made my mom feel so special. I think Aubrey could tell I wanted my mom to feel involved, she lives out of state and this really touched her to be given the choice. Even though it is tradition for the MOB to sit behind the bride, my mom sat on the other side so she could see my face. I recommend Aubrey to anyone getting married. You will not regret it.

onth of service and it was totally worth it. Any time I needed recommendations for vendors or throwing out weird ideas for the wedding, she was quick to respond and gave me many options for vendors. After I would book vendors, I would email Alessandra the information and she took over from there. They made me a stress-free bride... I know... Unheard of!!! The day before the wedding, she explained everything that would happen on the day-of to the whole wedding party and was very thorough with the rehearsal. Day of wedding- her and Ashley (her assistant) were amazing. My parents house was in Poway and it was HOT... but they were outside in the sun, making sure everything was perfect. They even helped nail down the runner.... like what?!?! Since my wedding had both the ceremony and reception at the same venue, they had to perform a switch halfway through the evening. And they KILLED it. Their organization skills and guidance made my fiance, Stephen, and my day an absolute dream! I would and will recommend them to anyone getting married. e and needed someone to "flip" the decor from Ceremony seating to Reception seating during cocktail hour since we only had one room. I was so happy that I spent the extra money to have a wedding coordinator. Alessandra took charge from day 1 up until the end of the reception. She took care of all of my vendors and made a wedding timeline. She even brought in an assistant to help flip the space for us. She was on top of everything! She made sure all of the vendors had a copy of the timeline and communicated back and forth between the vendors, venue and myself. She went above and beyond and was so sweet. Alessandra, thank you so much for all of your help!

People kept asking me if we were stressed about the wedding and we had to honestly answer that we weren't! We were able to fully enjoy everything knowing our wedding was in great hands. Hiring her full time actually saved us money in the long run because she was able to find us amazing vendors at a great cost, negotiate for us, and advise us along the way. Not only did she do full coordination for our wedding, but she also worked with my mother in law to plan the rehearsal dinner, which was INCREDIBLE, and a brunch my parents threw the day after the wedding. Basically she planned a three day wedding and did it with such style and grace. She, her sister and her mother are absolutely amazing. Hire them and know it's the best thing you'll do for your entire wedding.

Something that you cannot teach a wedding coordinator to have is cute style, so a huge huge plus was being able to trust Alessandra with the placement of little things during set-up on the big day (i.e. putting our seating chat in this corner or that, laying our favors on our napkins or on the table, which way to face the couch, etc.).
