We are so thankful to have had Details Made Simple the last 3 months of our wedding timeline! Jackie Diaz was THE BEST wedding planner we could have ever asked for! She was always kind, attentive, and helped us achieve our dream of a wedding. We would not have changed a single thing about our wedding day thanks to Jackie's incredible help! We will always recommend working with Details Made Simple -- but most especially, Jackie Diaz! Thank you for making our day feel so special!
We worked with Jackie Diaz and can’t imagine our day without her. She went above and beyond for us throughout the entire planning process. If we ever had questions, she was there to help us throughout the entire planning process, despite hiring her for day of coordination. The day of our wedding, it rained on and off the entire day. She was there first thing in the morning to help with everything and anything, and she also handled negotiating with the venue to set up inside and outside for our ceremony. We are so lucky she did that for us, and we were able to have the ceremony outside. She took everything that could of added stress that day off of our plates and we were so grateful. Her level of experience showed, and we didn’t need to ask for a single thing. She even left us written out instructions for our marriage licenses and handled having them signed for us. There are too many good things to say! If I was to do it all over, Jackie would be the first vendor I would hire again!
Working in the industry I did not know if I wanted to move forward with a Day of Coordinator. As our wedding got closer, I knew I needed someone who could be my voice on the day of and could also put me at ease. Details Made Simple is well known so I contacted them! Lexi was our Day of Coordinator and we could not have been happier! Immediately Lexi reached out and helped get the little details ironed out. Lexi came for a walkthrough at our venue, got along GREAT with all our vendors, and helped me plan out where we would put different elements on the day of.
I was making a 84 page binder (because I am extra) however the day before my wedding, it was deleted off canva and couldn’t be recovered in time. Lexi had the timeline and took care of everything! She made sure our centerpieces were perfect, checked in with each vendor, and stayed until we were good! She helped with photos, our flower girls and ring bearer and honestly if anything happened on the day of, I didn’t even know about it because Lexi took care of it! One amazing trait about Lexi was her proactive questions. Prior to the wedding she asked me what I would want to do in different situations and Day of- she just took care of it all.
We were on time in every way and that was Lexi running the show. Everyone LOVED her and the telling piece was that my Father in law had only great things to say about her (and he is the tough one!!)
We are so thankful for Lexi and would truly recommend her to anyone looking for a Day of Coordinator to put you at ease on your big day :-)
Kari went above and beyond to make our day absolutely perfect and stress free! She handled all of the COIs and coordination with our venue and vendors which was such a huge weight off our chest. I also could always text or call her with questions or concerns and she always helped me find a solution or talk through something. She seamlessly worked with our venue and their staff and coordinators and made sure our vision was being brought to life.
On the day of she took care of any set-up items we needed as well as helped keep our giant bridal party organized and running on time. She is also just such a kind and fun human and we loved having her a part of our day. Kari and Details Made Simple really gave us peace of mind and a friend throughout this whole process who cared the most about we wanted and needed. I could not recommend them or Kari enough and we are so so grateful to her!!!
Okay, full disclosure -- I work in weddings. My initial thought was, I do this every day and I know what I'm doing - I don't need a coordinator. Spoiler Alert - I definitely needed Carla Friday. I hired her a month out when I couldn't take the stress anymore and started second guessing everything I already decided on. Carla was there to be a professional sounding board on what would or wouldn't work for our event, she was there to be a friend to help lighten the mood when I got overwhelmed, and she was even down to fight for me when one of my vendors got out of hand and was making me mad. LOL.
Carla helped me make important final decisions, get all the vendor paperwork prepared and filled out for our venue, and kept revising our day of timeline up until the night before the wedding. On the day of the wedding, Carla was RUNNING around doing so many things for us that I didn't even know we needed. She handled so many tiny little issues that I didn't even know about - and that's the way it absolutely should be. If you're on the fence about hiring her, I say do it. You spend all this time, money and energy on planning this one day of your life, the least you can do for YOURSELF is to hire Carla and/or her team so that you can actually enjoy it too. Carla helped us do just that. She took care of everything for us and I can't thank her enough!!!
If you're looking for an absolutely phenomenal day-of wedding coordinator, Angelica is the one for you! We were recently married at Jasna Polana, and Angelica made our wedding day absolutely seamless and stress-free.
We were initially recommended DMS by friends who had also celebrated their wedding at the same venue, and they could not have been more right. We were initially assigned to a different coordinator who subsequently left DMS a few months before our wedding. We were very stressed that we were being swapped over to a different coordinator, but Angelica was the perfect fit. From our very first meeting, Angelica put us at ease with her professionalism and attention to detail. She guided us through a comprehensive list of questions that helped us consider wedding details we hadn't even thought about, ensuring that we were all on the same page.
Angelica was incredibly proactive throughout our entire wedding planning process. She took care coordinating all vendor meals and arrival times in the final weeks, which allowed my husband and me to focus on enjoying our wedding weekend without any logistical worries. She even went the extra mile by driving out to our venue for a final walkthrough, ensuring she was fully familiar with the space beforehand.
On our wedding day, Angelica was nothing short of a miracle worker. She kept everything running precisely on schedule and made sure all our decorations were arranged exactly as we had envisioned. The timeline she created was several pages long and incredibly detailed. Her behind-the-scenes problem-solving was also very impressive. For example, I heard from my mother-in-law after the wedding that she found a small hole in the dance floor during the venue setup. She told Angelica who immediately addressed it by finding venue staff to patch it up. I'm sure there were many other potential hiccups she managed that I was blissfully unaware of. The day ran perfectly because Angelica did such an amazing job managing the timeline.
Everyone was so impressed by how sweet, professional, and effective Angelica was. She truly allowed us to be fully present and enjoy every moment of our wedding day. If you want a coordinator who is kind, meticulous, and dedicated, DMS - and Angelica in particular - come with our highest recommendation!
Shadé went above and beyond for our wedding day! I hired a DOC just to keep the stress off of me the day of and she was absolutely outstanding! She filled the shoes of bridal assistant, wedding planner, photographer, videographer, time management coordinator, clean up crew, florist, bubble blower (for wedding photos), she locked up my house and packed comfy shoes for me without me even asking. She was just always 2 steps ahead and worked so hard to make my day PERFECT and I will forever be thankful for that. She was super helpful at the church and without her, I wouldn’t have been able to have my “walking down the aisle” vision. She put my veil on, fluffed my dress and opened the doors, so that I had the grand entrance I was hoping for. She was also so so nice and just very easy to talk to. She was prompt and showed up for all the appointments I asked her to be there for, even joining some meetings that weren’t super important for her to be a part of, just to give me piece of mind. She was very experienced in wedding planning and it showed. She was super professional, and she also brought everything back to my hotel room so that my husband and I could go straight to the after party. She was so caring and understanding about all my worries and quickly reassured me that she would handle it all. She also captured all the moments I wanted and was hoping to get (since we didn’t have a videographer). I am so happy I decided to go with DMS for my DOC. It was 10000000% worth it!
As the mother of the bride, having a wedding day coordinator who took the stress off of me was very important. From our very first phone call with Shadé Coleman to the very last minute of our daughter's wedding, she seemed to be one step ahead-always anticipating our needs and bringing utmost professionalism to every last detail. Above all, Shadé is a delight to work with and a genuinely kind and caring person. It never felt like she was just "doing her job," but rather that she truly wanted the day to be as special as we did. Five stars to Shadé and DMS!
If you are on the fence about a DOC, let this be your moment to hire Details Made Simple. I saw Carla and team in action at a friends wedding and immediately knew I needed her at mine. Carla and team were life savers- from helping me and my girls, to making sure my family and friends weee taken care of, to extending any and all helping hands to all my vendors - Carla was so incredible. Our day went so smoothly- Carla ensured all our ideas, plans and decor were set up properly; she communicated monthly to ask if we needed anything/had questions and the day of she was energetic, bubbly and my personal paparazzi!! I want to start by giving a huge thank you to Angelica with Details Made Simple, if I hadn’t had Angelica as my Day-of Coordinator, I honestly don’t know what I would’ve done. At first, I hadn’t planned on hiring a DOC, but quickly realized I needed someone to bring my vision to life and handle all the details so that I could actually enjoy the day with my new husband. From the very beginning, Angelica went above and beyond, answering every question I had and making sure I had everything I needed leading up to the big day. On the day of the wedding, she executed everything flawlessly—coordinating the vendors, ensuring all my decor was placed exactly how I envisioned, and just making the whole day run smoothly. When we began planning our wedding we knew DMS was a a necessary part of it. We feel so lucky to have had Ashley by our side throughout the process. The months leading up she was on top of everything and assisting with our vendors. Helping us perfect the timeline of the day was invaluable to the wedding planning process and assisted all of our vendors once it came time to do our walkthrough. Ashley was really a shining star on the wedding day. We knew we had nothing to worry about because she had everything under control. All our vendors were so grateful for her communication and organization. The day went off without a hitch and we will forever be grateful to Ashley & help from Daneska from DMS for that!

Sarah was incredibly organized and detail-oriented, which put mine and my husbands minds at ease during the planning process and on the day of. She took the time to understand our preferences and offered creative ideas that truly elevated our wedding, especially our timeline!

We had a lot of moving parts with unique decor touches for our wedding, and a tight delivery timeframe for our venue. But we were in such capable hands, we didn't need to stress. Ashley and the DMS team helped us stay organized in the months beforehand, and took care of all the setup and take-down so we could fully immerse ourselves in the fun moments of our day.
Daneska was our planner/coordinator whom we love(d) very much!! She was awesome and so supportive throughout. A wedding can be an overwhelming event to plan and having Daneska step in 3 months out was definitely helpful to keep me and our many vendors on track. She is organized and also very personable, so we shared a lot of great laughs together throughout. The Details Made Simple team was great and would definitely recommend them.
Alex Williams from Details Made Simple was the day-of coordinator for our wedding at Grounds For Sculpture in September 2024, and she did an amazing job. She was communicative and supportive every time we met before the event, and worked with us to develop a timeline and photography shot list that we were happy with.
We thought Alex did a decent job beforehand, but it was on the day of the wedding that her abilities really shone – she did all the obvious things, like making sure our vendors arrived on time and had everything they needed, but she also took care of a ton of small, thoughtful details that never would have occurred to me; things like making sure the groom and I had half an hour to ourselves after the ceremony when we were feeling a bit overwhelmed, even though it wasn’t part of our original timeline, or making sure the groom was happy with all the pictures he got with his 91-year-old grandmother. Of course, our wedding also encountered the usual number of minor mishaps, which Alex stayed cool, calm, and collected while handling: the florist forgot corsages for the grandmothers, Alex worked with the florist to get these in time for the ceremony; the ceremony site was too windy for our signage and ceremony programs to be placed out, so Alex worked with the venue staff to locate a more secure easel for the sign, and then worked with our family to pass out programs after guests were seated. My partner and I also didn’t have to hear about these things until after they had been resolved, thanks to her – only afterwards, she would let us know, “By the way, X happened, and it was resolved with Y”. She was really great, and the wedding definitely would not have proceeded as planned without her.
Carla was a lifesaver on our wedding day and we would absolutely recommend her!! She's very professional and knows exactly what she's doing, but she's also so fun, sweet, and an absolute pleasure to be around. We trusted her 100%, which helped us just focus on enjoying our big day, but she also knew when to ask for our opinion and check in on us. She was prepared for whatever we might need and proactively made adjustments (e.g., to the timeline) to ensure everything was running smoothly. I also really appreciated how she helped me so much with my 2 dress changes (yes, I had 3 dresses total!) so my mom and MOH didn't have to worry about messing with the buttons. All in all, hire Carla!
Choosing to work with Ashley Bradshaw on the Details Made Simple team was one of the best decisions we could have made. Their pricing was very reasonable for 3 month coordination and Ashley was so easy to work with and reliable. Our wedding was truly the best day of our life, and the timeline she made helped the day go so smoothly! She remembered all of the little details we went over and took so much pressure off of us and our family on the big day! I couldn’t recommend her enough.
We worked with Carla as a day-of coordinator (Peace of Mind Package) for our wedding in August 2024. She was so helpful throughout the whole process. She started emailing me before the 3 month mark, and was always willing to provide advice and recommendations. Her coordination over the last month before the wedding made my life so much easier and I felt confident that she had things under control. On the day of the wedding, Carla was the MVP! She kept me calm, helped manage a large bridal party, and got us to where we needed to be for our church ceremony and then reception. She even solved a few fashion emergencies! She was instrumental in my day being so special and amazing. She spent time at the venue before our church to make sure everything was perfect and all vendors were accounted for. I will endlessly recommend DMS and Carla to anyone getting married!!!!
Hiring Kari as our coordinator was one of the best wedding decisions we made. She not only gave us peace of mind before the wedding by checking in with us frequently, listening to our vision, alleviating our concerns, and assuring that she would do whatever she could to resolve any issues that came up and advocate for us if need be, but she also followed through on every one of these promises. There is so much that happens on a wedding day, and there is so much that Kari handled without us needing to be involved. From our meetings before the wedding, she knew how we wanted everything to be handled, and she handled it. This left us with minimal disruption, all while getting to spend the day with a genuinely fantastic person.
I can't speak more highly about Kari or Details Made Simple. Admittedly, we were on the fence about hiring a coordinator, but since the wedding, my entire family has named Kari and Details Made Simple the best return on investment. And everyone agreed that she was fantastic (including my bridesmaids, who gushed over her and were amazed that if you needed something, Kari had it in her bag). At weddings, issues often arise when you don't expect them, but Details Made Simple knows how to and is prepared to handle them.

While planning for our wedding, we received a lot of advice about how we couldn't control every aspect of the day. As someone who values organization and being in control, I knew it was important to find a wedding coordinator who understood our vision and would be as detail-oriented as I am. That's where Jackie came in! I had known Jackie previously and I knew she was the perfect choice for our Wedding Coordinator because she understood my perfectionist nature. Her professionalism truly made our wedding day perfect. When she had to break the news about moving the ceremony inside due to rain, she did so with such care and reassurance. She made sure my partner and I felt just as excited about an indoor ceremony as we did about an outdoor one. Her continuous check-ins with us, the wedding party, and the vendors were truly amazing. Both our families had nothing but praise for Jackie and her incredible work. If you want a beautiful, organized, and enjoyable wedding day, Jackie is the one to book! Carla, Katie, and the whole DMS made our wedding dreams a reality! Our wedding day and setup were a bit complicated and Carla and Katie executed every detail flawlessly! Not only are they amazing coordinators, but they are GREAT people and I'm happy to have gotten a chance to know and work with them! They were a calming presence throughout the night, keeping us all relaxed and able to soak in and enjoy every moment, which is what we wanted to do above everything else! If there’s one thing you should do for your wedding, it’s hire Details Made Simple/Carla. There aren’t enough stars in the world to give Carla. She is the consummate wedding professional. She responded to my texts, emails, and calls as soon as I sent them. She talked me off multiple ledges and kept me so calm throughout the wedding planning process. Whenever I was freaking out about planning, she would call me and talk me through it. Every time I thought I was screwed, she gave me a hundred options and let me pick what we thought was best. She made our planning process so much easier. And on the day of the wedding, oh my god I don’t know what I would have done without her. From fixing my father in law’s tie for pictures, to holding my mom’s diabetes medicine, to helping me change, to getting everyone in line, Carla did it all. I’m not kidding I felt absolutely no stress on my wedding day. Carla absorbed all my stress and handled it like the pro she is. By having Carla there, I was able to enjoy every single second of my wedding and trust everything was done. You NEED to hire Carla for your wedding
We cannot thank DMS enough! Carla was the real MVP at our wedding! She was so organized from the very beginning and her timeline helped us stay on track with the day’s events. Loved her positive attitude and flexibility not only throughout our wedding day but in the weeks prior. She was available to answer questions and take what she could off our hands. Carla communicated well and checked in often, which we appreciated so much because it kept us on track. On our wedding day she went above and beyond in making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. She made sure to go our venue early and set up our menus/seating chart in the order we wished, made sure all vendors received their tips and even went back to hotel to gather some things we needed!! We couldn't have asked for more, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Carla made our day so special!

Without hesitation I can say hiring Angelica was the best money spent in our entire wedding budget. From the start she was so engaged, responsive and on top of things. And she is sooo nice! I felt 10,000 pounds lifted from my shoulders once I sent her a list of all my vendors, and I NEVER had to do anything with the vendors after that! She took care of it all - collecting their insurance info (which I hadn't known was a thing), organizing the timeline of the day with all of them, and being the main point-of-contact so that it was all out of my hands. Angelica is incredibly professional while also being so personable. I did not feel that she tried to steer my vision in any way. She really listened and understood our vibe, our priorities, etc. And it was great having an expert to point out things we needed to think about that we would otherwise not have had on our radar!
On the day of, she was prepared, so on top of things, always ready to address whatever was needed, and she went above and beyond to make everything look amazing. She took it upon herself to repurpose flowers and candles to make our gift table, guest book table and signage even better than I have envisioned. She had at the ready band-aids for my feet, eyelash glue for my new daughter-in-law - I would love to know what else she keeps in her magical emergency kit!

The absolute WORST!!! Lets begin with the coordinator, Shade Coleman, arriving 25 minutes late to the church rehearsal. It was ALL downhill from there. There are so many other vendors to choose from. Stay away from Details Made Simple
Hiring Details Made Simple was truly the best decision we could have made for our wedding day. Our coordinator, Angelica, is an angel!!! As someone who is organized, detail-oriented and execution-focused, I sometimes have trouble handing the reigns over, but from the beginning, Angelica was supportive, communicative and beyond trustworthy - she matched the energy and showed up for us in every way possible. She understood our vision and ensured that every moment was met with clear eyes and intent. Her kindness and genuine happiness for us and our families made it all the more special. Everyone involved was able to breathe easier knowing Angelica had everything covered as we went though the day. From getting ready at our hotel in Center City, to transportation and our ceremony that was 30 minutes away at Villanova, and everything in between, she kept everything on track. It was the perfect day, and Details Made Simple/Angelica was a huge part of that. My husband and I are so grateful. There were several times throughout the day where we looked at each other and said ‘thank God for Angelica.’ We ended up DIY’ing a bunch of things (menus, name cards, seating chart, etc.) and Angelica was beyond helpful in setting everything up for us. AND, as someone who cares deeply about surrounding myself with people who reflect my world, hiring a Women- and POC-owned vendor was very important to me. Details Made Simple - it’s all in the name!! If you’re looking for a seamless day where you can be fully present and worry free, look no further. My husband and I could not be happier.
Details made simple is a great vendor to provide wedding planning and day of coordinating. Jackie was so attentive to me. I hired her as a “day of coordinator” and she was completely hands on with 2 months to go. She was so easy to communicate with and was on top of all of my needs prior to my wedding. She worked with all of my vendors and completed a detailed timeline for the day of my wedding. My wedding was more complicated than most. We hosted almost 300 people at our home.. so the vendors came to us. She was amazing! Highly recommend !!!
I had the pleasure of working with Carla Friday for my wedding day. Leading up to the wedding Carla was extremely responsive and excited to hear all about my ideas and plans for the big day. I was pretty organized and had a clear vision of the day and Carla was eager to jump right in and make it all happen. She took on everything with a positive attitude and was helpful in making final decisions in the weeks leading up to my wedding. On the big day itself, it was so nice to have trust and faith that Carla was taking care of every little detail. She was a pleasure to work with and I would recommend her to any bride looking for a trusty right hand :)
Kari helped with coordination three months up to our wedding and on our wedding day. She was so incredibly helpful and supportive, and she truly went above and beyond. Our day was so special thanks to her hard work, warmth, and attention to detail!
What can I truly say about my experience!?! Michelle was truly a godsend. From the moment we met, I knew she would understand what I envisioned and needed for my day. She helped so much leading up to my wedding day from her professional experience as a coordinator to her personal experience as a bride herself. She definitely talked me off the ledge a few times when the planning became stressful. On my wedding day, Michelle came in and got to work. She helped us keep our schedule on time and the wedding went off without a hitch. My family absolutely adored her. She was so good to us. We really wanted to make sure she was taken care of because she took such good care of us. I would recommend Michelle and Details Made Simple to anyone getting married that really just wants to enjoy their wedding day after months/years of planning. I am a DIY bride and I didn’t think I wanted a day of coordinator. I set up a meeting with Details Made Simple and spoke with Carla. And I am so glad I did. I was already stressed and anxious but after speaking with her, I immediately felt calm and at ease. I knew I needed her for my wedding.

We were lucky enough to snag Daneska from DMS for our reception day in Brooklyn. We went with the "Peace of Mind" package as my wife and I are in the logistics and management business, but we knew we'd need the extra help day-of.
The preparation work was straight forward enough; we had all of our vendors locked in and working with Daneska through the day's schedule was helpful in making sure nothing had been overlooked. At every opportunity Daneska made sure to reiterate that our happiness was key and if it was important to us, it was important to her, which she exemplified time and time again throughout the preparation period.
On the day of Daneska’s attentiveness and calming demeanor was the perfect fit for us. She was timely in showing up to collect items to bring to the venue and keeping eyes on the set up. We had a slight miscommunication with the venue about the family’s arrival, but with one call Daneska took care of the problem and what could have been a tricky situation was immediately resolved. Throughout the entire evening she was pulling strings and keeping everything on schedule all the while we were able to enjoy our evening with our guests, but she would still check in with us periodically to make sure nothing further was needed. And, of course, at the end of the night, all the items meant to go back to our hotel while we were still out celebrating made it back without issue.
Without a doubt it was one of our best investments of the entire experience and I cannot imagine where we would have been without Daneska. DMS’s coordinators are worth their weight in gold and truly made my wife and I feel taken care of. Highly recommend their services and personnel.
Kari was amazing as our day of coordinator! She was an amazing help to us even before the wedding in helping us stay organized and making sure everything was on track. I felt like I could always ask her anything. On the day of she took care of everything so that we could enjoy the day. She was also so nice and had a great energy to have around for the day :)

From the pre-wedding meetings and venue walk-through to the actual wedding day, she showed up x100 and made our day a success. I wasn't sure if I truly needed a coordinator since I am very organized, but hiring Angelica was one of the best decisions I made in the wedding planning process. Getting married in a church and then moving to the reception venue, it was especially helpful to have someone there to keep things moving smoothly. Angelica was so helpful, kind, and detail-oriented, which is exactly what I was hoping for. My mom and my sister (and MOH) loved her too and were so happy she was there to assist. DMS literally held my wedding day prep together. As the bride busy behind the scenes getting ready and doing portraits, I knew I could count on the team to make my wedding vision happen. Carla and Sade bent over back words to accomplish my wedding day goals. Carla was very responsive during the few months leading up, creating and changing my timeline numerous times. She is such a hype women when it comes to your day, she loves what she does and you can tell. Even when there were snags, Carla and Sade made sure the I did not have to worry, which on the day is MUCH appreciated to any Bride. Our wedding day would not have been as amazing as it was without Carla! Carla made us feel at ease from the moment we started planning our wedding day with her. The minute Carla showed up on my wedding day, all of my stress melted away. She is organized and timely, but also manages to be relaxed and fun. I was obsessive and meticulous when it came to all of my wedding details, but Carla built our timeline and executed every event and detail PERFECTLY! We were running early all day long and I was able to be relaxed while enjoying every moment with my husband and guests. This was only possible because Carla took care of allllllllll the little hiccups that popped up (and there will inevitably be unforeseen hiccups on your wedding day, no matter how well you plan).
My parents and bridal party have ALL mentioned how impressed they were by her on the big day. Even our other vendors mentioned how seamless the whole day was thanks to Carla. It also helps that she is well known and respected by many of the vendors we used. To paraphrase our limo driver: "As soon as I pulled up and saw Carla, I knew it was going to be a good wedding".
In the months leading up to the wedding, Carla asked all of the questions I didn't know needed to be answered. She constantly responded to all of my chaotic texts and emails SO quickly and was always so helpful.
I genuinely do not know what I would have done without Carla on my wedding day. Probably would have stressed, cried, been overwhelmed, etc. She was just so on top of everything. I can't properly explain it- it was like having another coordinating version of myself to execute everything perfectly while the bride version of me was able to be present in each and every moment without a worry in the world.

Lauren really made us feel at ease from the moment we met her! While she was clearly a "list person" and organized, she also took a calm approach which we much appreciated! When we'd get on a call or meeting with our venue, she'd repeat the direction or request from our last conversation without hesitation ensuring that she was listening, remembering, and noting everything down! My husband and I worked with Shay for our May 2023 wedding and she was absolutely amazing! Leading up to our wedding, we enjoyed meeting with her - she had a great vibe and gave a lot of practical advice as we prepared for the big day. Maggie was absolutely amazing!! She went so above and beyond leading up to the wedding - she truly kept me sane throughout the whole process! She understood my vision right away and she came to every vendor meeting so we knew we could relax on our wedding day because she had everything handled. Our timeline for the day of was so detailed and organized - it was a dream for a type A bride like myself. Maggie made sure everyone was where they should be the day of the wedding, made sure everything was getting set up correctly, and made sure I had everything I needed from start to finish. I’m not even sure where to start with my review. I was in a very desperate situation that turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I was married on 10/7/2023 and Details Made Simple (Carla) made sure it was the most beautiful, and least anxiety provoking day. I had previously booked a Day Of Coordinator in March 2023. This DOC promised me the world and more for my October 2023 wedding. We’ll fast forward to August 2023 meeting with my venue, I was alone and freaking out. My DOC (not Carla) bailed on me for the venue meet, and made me feel like I was panicking for no reason with a timeline that will be formulated week before wedding. (Again not Carla)
Thanks to my maid of honor coming through with an amazing recommendation, I was given Carlas’s number after feeling defeated and upset with my previous DOC not supporting me or showing up for me when necessary.
After 2 hour conversation with myself and my mom, I immediately felt at ease with Carla. My concerns were validated as “No way should a timeline be started 1 week before event”. With many tears had during our initial conversation, that night I slept the best I had in all my wedding planning with Carla coming to my rescue and the rest is history.
Details Made Simple is just that, Details Made Simple. From hiring (DMS) that August evening to my wedding on October 7, 2023, I was in The best hands Possible!!!
We had a few phone calls in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and the month leading up to the wedding, myself and Carla were in contact regularly. She never hesitated to answer and email, a text or a phone call. I received updated timelines in my email on the regular, she contacted any vendors with whatever tasks were still not done, to her absolutely loving on my 3 year old niece on my wedding day, Carla was like having an extremely organized “family”member take charge and make sure myself, my husband and my bridal party had nothing to worry about on the wedding day. I can not speak highly enough about DMS services, professionalism and overall delivery of event planning. Carla, I am forever grateful to you!

My wife and I got married in May 2023, at Crystal Plaza in Livingston, NJ. We used "Details Made Simple" as a day coordinator, but they were so much more than that. Prior to the wedding, Carla Friday made sure that we were on top of our game. When we needed something, Carla provided great advice and recommendations.
During the wedding, Carla and her assistant made sure that every detail flowed flawlessly. TBH, I don't know if any vendors were late or off beat, but it's because Carla was everywhere making sure everything was on point. She had to do at least 20,000 steps that day lol. On a serious note, Details Made Simple is the perfect name for this business. I 100000% recommend Details Made Simple to anyone that would like their wedding to flow seamlessly.
She even helped take care of our 4-legged son (dog)!!!

We worked with Sarah from details made simple and of all the millions of decisions we had to make around our wedding working with Sarah was the BEST decision we made. From the start she was a pleasure to work with and checked in with us each month to make sure we were staying on track. Even several months out from our wedding when I had questions or needed a second opinion she was always a quick phone call away and gave me amazing guidance.
Leading up to our wedding day Sarah was so helpful in putting together our timeline and work though logistical problems. We tweaked our timeline to be absolutely perfect and she kept us AHEAD of schedule on the day.
I can not thank Sarah enough for going above and beyond for us every step of the way. Due to weather and a tree falling in the driveway at our venue we had to cancel our rehearsal 1 hour before! I was planning to bring some items I would need for the next day there and when we realized not having them would delay the photographer Sarah stepped in to shuttle my many belonging there and keep things seamless. She was SO helpful on the day and my husband and I were truly carefree. The first thing I said to my husband when we got back to our room was that I was so glad we had Sarah.

Shanika was an amazing coordinator to work with! She made our day done run so smoothly and I didn’t have to worry about any of the small details. While me and my bridesmaid were getting ready we found out that our hotel had put us in the wrong suite, she coordinated with the hotel and clearly let me know what options I could take. She also had all of the tools to help fix my dresses bustle when it broke. I was able to stay calm and enjoy our fantastic wedding with the help of Shanika!
Sarah was my day of coordinator for my wedding. As you know a wedding can be so stressful but thankfully she took all of the weight off our shoulders by being so organized, detail oriented, and a great communicator.
