Details Made Simple ~ Wedding Day Coordinator

lanning process. She kept the entire day running so smoothly and made me feel completely calm, allowing me to be fully present and enjoy every moment. It felt like everything was taken care of before I even had to say it out loud—she was always one step ahead. I can’t imagine our wedding day without her and would recommend Alex to any couple without hesitation!

thing we hoped for, and so much of that is thanks to Carla. Her attention to detail was exceptional. She thought through every aspect of the day, kept everything running smoothly, and handled so many moving pieces that we didn't have to worry about. She took an incredible amount of stress off our plate, which allowed us to be fully present and enjoy every moment. One thing that meant so much to me was how comfortable and supported she made my wife feel throughout the entire process. Carla was calm, thoughtful, organized, and always one step ahead. Knowing she had everything under control gave us so much peace of mind. We are beyond grateful for everything Carla did to make our wedding such a huge success. If you're looking for someone who genuinely cares, goes above and beyond, and will make your special day feel effortless, we can't recommend Carla and Details Made Simple highly enough. Thank you for helping create memories we'll cherish for the rest of our lives!

with not 1 miss. She goes above and beyond for her couples and truly gets to know you as a person which is truly a gift. She was always a text or a phone call away when I had questions or needed guidance on decisions. The level of detail and care that went into our timeline was exquisite. There were even guests at our wedding that specifically reached out to me to tell me how kind and attentive she was. She is truly a master at her craft and cares deeply about her mission. Our wedding would not have happened without Carla and Noelie! Book details made simple!

me “Details Made Simple” couldn’t be more fitting. Carla’s attention to detail shines through in everything she does. Every timeline, email, and moving piece was handled with such care and precision. We truly don’t believe our wedding would have come together the way it did without her organization, coordination, and steady guidance. What stood out most was her calm confidence. She navigated complex and potentially stressful moments with total ease, handling every personality and situation so gracefully. Throughout the entire process, we felt supported, heard, and completely taken care of. We are so grateful for her communication, professional insight, and expertise. She didn’t just execute our vision she protected it, elevated it, and brought it to life in the most beautiful way. We couldn’t recommend Carla more highly. She was the backbone of our day, and we will always be thankful for her.

and my husband! She was there every step of the way, was extremely organized, knew which questions to ask us and our vendors, and let us actually enjoy our wedding we planned on the actual day. I cannot recommend Shade more and would tell every couple to use Details Made Simple for their upcoming wedding!

y. She anticipated every possibility—including things I never would have thought of—and took the time to fully understand the vision my daughter and I had spent 18 months planning. I had personally planned every detail of the wedding, but on the day of the event I felt completely comfortable handing everything over to Alexis—which is no small feat for a control *freak* like me. I had absolutely no concerns. If there were any issues, I never knew about them. Alexis worked seamlessly with the venue and all of our vendors, keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Because of her, I was able to truly be the guest I wanted to be and enjoy every minute of the celebration. I am so incredibly thankful for her and cannot recommend her highly enough.

at ease knowing that she's worked with our venue before and has experience with DIY weddings. This was a HUGE project as I am in medical school and my husband works full time but Ashley made sure to handle all the logistics and communications with our vendors, and even helped us find a new staffing company the week before our wedding! She was always available through email and text and always knew how to calm my nerves. One thing I especially appreciated was how she executed my vision so beautifully and the venue looked even more beautiful than I could've imagined!! And despite all the mishaps that came up on our big day from running late, to our unorganized seating chart to running out of food at the end of the night, she handled everything and I had no idea until it was all over!! Truly an incredible experience working with Ashley and the DMS team! You guys are incredible! 🥹🧡

rents to get everything in place for our August wedding. Carla was always responsive to our emails, texts, and calls, and she never left us with us a question unanswered or request unfulfilled. This, plus her infectious positivity, made working with Carla so easy and fun. Day-of...words can't begin to describe how much we appreciated her help. She kept everything moving like a well-oiled machine. She thought of EVERYTHING - down to the sewing kit (which came in handy when she helped fix my husband's aunt's wedding dress that fell apart pre-ceremony!). Every single one of my bridesmaids and the groomsmen commented on how awesome she was. Thank you SO much Carla. 100/100 recommend!!!

the wedding, she kept me on track with gentle reminders and made sure nothing fell through the cracks. Carla is incredibly well connected, and she knew all of my vendors already. It honestly felt like she was leading the Avengers. That level of coordination gave me so much confidence. What meant the most was how kind, sweet, and genuinely caring she was. She felt like a trusted friend from start to finish, and you could tell she was truly having fun with us. I felt completely safe and knew my day would be perfect because she was there. I definitely recommend working with Carla. She is amazing.

th a day of coordinator, someone had recommended DMS as a premier option. I interviewed a few different companies and people -- and honestly felt that Angelica was simply the BEST! Her attention to detail, level of professionalism, easy going & on pointe approach, allowed me to take a step back and enjoy our special day and the weeks leading up to it. She beyond exceeded our expectations, and made a new friend in the process. Would recommend Angelica and DMS, time and time again!

ing. At the time of meeting with Carla, I had been a stressed out bride but she quickly and without hesitation jumped in at the 3-month mark and helped me tie up loose ends. Carla is super detail oriented and has demonstrated a true expertise in the art of wedding planning/coordinating. She also is very well connected and respected in her industry. She can get the job done. Highly recommend.

e attention to every detail and handled even the most complex family dynamics with total grace — she even created separate timelines to help maintain privacy and keep surprises under wraps. Beyond her professionalism, she truly felt like a friend guiding me through the day, making everything smooth, calm, and enjoyable from start to finish. I can’t recommend her enough!

hen you’re a bride planning a wedding for the first time, there are lots of things you overlook or don’t think about. As the day of coordinator, Brittany made sure I was able to plan our wedding how I wanted, but was always watching over to make sure things were perfectly executed.  I literally forgot to confirm our order for plates for my wedding….plates! She got the exact ones I wanted from the rental company that same morning and it was as if nothing happened.  I honestly can’t thank Brittany enough. She absolutely went above and beyond

wedding planning!). I found our vendors and negotiated the contracts etc. but knew  I didn’t want to have to do the follow up re COI’s or the timeline and definitely not checking in with vendors on the day of. Lexi did it all and frankly reminded me of things I had forgotten. Details Made Simple delivered on

of - she made sure everything ran smoothly, and I never had to worry about a thing! Her monthly check-ins really made sure I never felt alone. Thank you for making my day so special!

in the right hands with her. She fielded questions well ahead of the big day and assured us we were in good shape. She was especially helpful when it came to scheduling out the day and making sure everything ran smoothly. Highly recommend!

my biggest cheerleader and advocate on the wedding day. All of my friends and family loved hanging out with her throughout the day, and she was always in our corner ready for whatever we needed! I can’t recommend her enough!

and patient, and we cannot emphasize enough how highly we would recommend her to those in need of a wedding coordinator going forward. Her attention to detail, communication, and ability to consolidate so many moving parts was essential, especially in the days leading up to the wedding. We couldn’t have done it without her! She was a pleasure to work with, and we will actually miss speaking with her as frequently as we did leading up to the wedding! Angelica truly made all of our details simple. Thank you, Angelica and DMS!

uch more than just that, we spoke regularly in the months leading up to our wedding, she helped us with recommendations for other vendors, and created a seamless timeline. The day of, Amanda was kind, and on top of every detail, it was like having another me to handle all of the logistics I was too busy to take care of. My entire wedding party and family raved about how competent, nice, and effective Amanda was. She was truly incredible, and I hope we have the chance to work with her again on other events!

ike she just got me. She was so real from the beginning -- and I felt like I could really connect with her on the realities/challenges of planning your own wedding. In the lead up to the wedding, she went out of her way to be helpful in whatever I needed. One of the great things about DMS is that because they only offer day-of services, she was willing to share with me other advice, guidance, tips, recommendations that a company who offered full wedding planner services would maybe be hesitant to (because they'd want you to invest in their other services). On the day of, she went above and beyond -- it made for such a smooth and seamless experience for us, but particularly our families who didn't have to worry about any of the finer details and were able to just take in and enjoy the day (especially with having a parent who doesn't get around easily). She is the best!

wedding hall would do for you. Carla did that and more. Not only was she super cool and fun to work with, she kept everything extremely organized and made sure that even IF something went wrong, I didn't know about it and she handled it like a pro. I recommend you just hire them and don't think twice about it!!!

with setup on the actual wedding day. She is super patient and kind, would recommend Shadé and Details Made Simple for any event coordination needs.

oach allowed us to truly enjoy our day without worrying about the details. We’re so grateful for everything she did to help things run smoothly!

f our vendors to make sure our day was set to run smoothly. On our wedding day we had issues with our hotel and Carla came in and literally saved the day! During the reception she made sure we had the best time and made sure we ate food from cocktail hour… ate dinner… and had our wedding cake! She exceed our expectations for a day of coordinator!

kind, attentive, and helped us achieve our dream of a wedding. We would not have changed a single thing about our wedding day thanks to Jackie's incredible help! We will always recommend working with Details Made Simple -- but most especially, Jackie Diaz! Thank you for making our day feel so special!

o help us throughout the entire planning process, despite hiring her for day of coordination. The day of our wedding, it rained on and off the entire day. She was there first thing in the morning to help with everything and anything, and she also handled negotiating with the venue to set up inside and outside for our ceremony. We are so lucky she did that for us, and we were able to have the ceremony outside. She took everything that could of added stress that day off of our plates and we were so grateful. Her level of experience showed, and we didn’t need to ask for a single thing. She even left us written out instructions for our marriage licenses and handled having them signed for us. There are too many good things to say! If I was to do it all over, Jackie would be the first vendor I would hire again!

f and could also put me at ease. Details Made Simple is well known so I contacted them! Lexi was our Day of Coordinator and we could not have been happier! Immediately Lexi reached out and helped get the little details ironed out. Lexi came for a walkthrough at our venue, got along GREAT with all our vendors, and helped me plan out where we would put different elements on the day of. I was making a 84 page binder (because I am extra) however the day before my wedding, it was deleted off canva and couldn’t be recovered in time. Lexi had the timeline and took care of everything! She made sure our centerpieces were perfect, checked in with each vendor, and stayed until we were good! She helped with photos, our flower girls and ring bearer and honestly if anything happened on the day of, I didn’t even know about it because Lexi took care of it! One amazing trait about Lexi was her proactive questions. Prior to the wedding she asked me what I would want to do in different situations and Day of- she just took care of it all. We were on time in every way and that was Lexi running the show. Everyone LOVED her and the telling piece was that my Father in law had only great things to say about her (and he is the tough one!!) We are so thankful for Lexi and would truly recommend her to anyone looking for a Day of Coordinator to put you at ease on your big day :-)

off our chest. I also could always text or call her with questions or concerns and she always helped me find a solution or talk through something. She seamlessly worked with our venue and their staff and coordinators and made sure our vision was being brought to life. On the day of she took care of any set-up items we needed as well as helped keep our giant bridal party organized and running on time. She is also just such a kind and fun human and we loved having her a part of our day. Kari and Details Made Simple really gave us peace of mind and a friend throughout this whole process who cared the most about we wanted and needed. I could not recommend them or Kari enough and we are so so grateful to her!!!

Carla Friday. I hired her a month out when I couldn't take the stress anymore and started second guessing everything I already decided on. Carla was there to be a professional sounding board on what would or wouldn't work for our event, she was there to be a friend to help lighten the mood when I got overwhelmed, and she was even down to fight for me when one of my vendors got out of hand and was making me mad. LOL. Carla helped me make important final decisions, get all the vendor paperwork prepared and filled out for our venue, and kept revising our day of timeline up until the night before the wedding. On the day of the wedding, Carla was RUNNING around doing so many things for us that I didn't even know we needed. She handled so many tiny little issues that I didn't even know about - and that's the way it absolutely should be. If you're on the fence about hiring her, I say do it. You spend all this time, money and energy on planning this one day of your life, the least you can do for YOURSELF is to hire Carla and/or her team so that you can actually enjoy it too. Carla helped us do just that. She took care of everything for us and I can't thank her enough!!!

absolutely seamless and stress-free. We were initially recommended DMS by friends who had also celebrated their wedding at the same venue, and they could not have been more right. We were initially assigned to a different coordinator who subsequently left DMS a few months before our wedding. We were very stressed that we were being swapped over to a different coordinator, but Angelica was the perfect fit. From our very first meeting, Angelica put us at ease with her professionalism and attention to detail. She guided us through a comprehensive list of questions that helped us consider wedding details we hadn't even thought about, ensuring that we were all on the same page. Angelica was incredibly proactive throughout our entire wedding planning process. She took care coordinating all vendor meals and arrival times in the final weeks, which allowed my husband and me to focus on enjoying our wedding weekend without any logistical worries. She even went the extra mile by driving out to our venue for a final walkthrough, ensuring she was fully familiar with the space beforehand. On our wedding day, Angelica was nothing short of a miracle worker. She kept everything running precisely on schedule and made sure all our decorations were arranged exactly as we had envisioned. The timeline she created was several pages long and incredibly detailed. Her behind-the-scenes problem-solving was also very impressive. For example, I heard from my mother-in-law after the wedding that she found a small hole in the dance floor during the venue setup. She told Angelica who immediately addressed it by finding venue staff to patch it up. I'm sure there were many other potential hiccups she managed that I was blissfully unaware of. The day ran perfectly because Angelica did such an amazing job managing the timeline. Everyone was so impressed by how sweet, professional, and effective Angelica was. She truly allowed us to be fully present and enjoy every moment of our wedding day. If you want a coordinator who is kind, meticulous, and dedicated, DMS - and Angelica in particular - come with our highest recommendation!

stant, wedding planner, photographer, videographer, time management coordinator, clean up crew, florist, bubble blower (for wedding photos), she locked up my house and packed comfy shoes for me without me even asking. She was just always 2 steps ahead and worked so hard to make my day PERFECT and I will forever be thankful for that. She was super helpful at the church and without her, I wouldn’t have been able to have my “walking down the aisle” vision. She put my veil on, fluffed my dress and opened the doors, so that I had the grand entrance I was hoping for. She was also so so nice and just very easy to talk to. She was prompt and showed up for all the appointments I asked her to be there for, even joining some meetings that weren’t super important for her to be a part of, just to give me piece of mind. She was very experienced in wedding planning and it showed. She was super professional, and she also brought everything back to my hotel room so that my husband and I could go straight to the after party. She was so caring and understanding about all my worries and quickly reassured me that she would handle it all. She also captured all the moments I wanted and was hoping to get (since we didn’t have a videographer). I am so happy I decided to go with DMS for my DOC. It was 10000000% worth it!

nute of our daughter's wedding, she seemed to be one step ahead-always anticipating our needs and bringing utmost professionalism to every last detail. Above all, Shadé is a delight to work with and a genuinely kind and caring person. It never felt like she was just "doing her job," but rather that she truly wanted the day to be as special as we did. Five stars to Shadé and DMS!

ine. Carla and team were life savers- from helping me and my girls, to making sure my family and friends weee taken care of, to extending any and all helping hands to all my vendors - Carla was so incredible. Our day went so smoothly- Carla ensured all our ideas, plans and decor were set up properly; she communicated monthly to ask if we needed anything/had questions and the day of she was energetic, bubbly and my personal paparazzi!! Hire them - affordable, and worth EVERY dollar. Thank you, thank you, thank you x10000 Lots of love and appreciation for you- Brenna and John D’Alessandro

irst, I hadn’t planned on hiring a DOC, but quickly realized I needed someone to bring my vision to life and handle all the details so that I could actually enjoy the day with my new husband. From the very beginning, Angelica went above and beyond, answering every question I had and making sure I had everything I needed leading up to the big day. On the day of the wedding, she executed everything flawlessly—coordinating the vendors, ensuring all my decor was placed exactly how I envisioned, and just making the whole day run smoothly. Thanks to Angelica, my dream wedding became a reality. She is truly amazing, and I would 1000% recommend her and Details Made Simple to any couple planning their wedding.

n top of everything and assisting with our vendors. Helping us perfect the timeline of the day was invaluable to the wedding planning process and assisted all of our vendors once it came time to do our walkthrough. Ashley was really a shining star on the wedding day. We knew we had nothing to worry about because she had everything under control. All our vendors were so grateful for her communication and organization. The day went off without a hitch and we will forever be grateful to Ashley & help from Daneska from DMS for that!

ncredibly organized and detail-oriented, which put mine and my husbands minds at ease during the planning process and on the day of. She took the time to understand our preferences and offered creative ideas that truly elevated our wedding, especially our timeline! On the day of the event, everything went smoothly thanks to Sarah. She managed the timeline flawlessly and coordinated with all our vendors, allowing us to fully enjoy our day without worrying about anything! It was such a relief to know that she had everything under control. If you're looking for a coordinator who's not only professional but genuinely passionate about supporting you on your wedding day, I HIGHLY recommend working with Details Made Simple, especially Sarah. Thank you again for making our day absolutely magical! -Mariel and Jonas Tuazon (Sept 2024)

Ashley and the DMS team helped us stay organized in the months beforehand, and took care of all the setup and take-down so we could fully immerse ourselves in the fun moments of our day.

in 3 months out was definitely helpful to keep me and our many vendors on track. She is organized and also very personable, so we shared a lot of great laughs together throughout. The Details Made Simple team was great and would definitely recommend them.

supportive every time we met before the event, and worked with us to develop a timeline and photography shot list that we were happy with. We thought Alex did a decent job beforehand, but it was on the day of the wedding that her abilities really shone – she did all the obvious things, like making sure our vendors arrived on time and had everything they needed, but she also took care of a ton of small, thoughtful details that never would have occurred to me; things like making sure the groom and I had half an hour to ourselves after the ceremony when we were feeling a bit overwhelmed, even though it wasn’t part of our original timeline, or making sure the groom was happy with all the pictures he got with his 91-year-old grandmother. Of course, our wedding also encountered the usual number of minor mishaps, which Alex stayed cool, calm, and collected while handling: the florist forgot corsages for the grandmothers, Alex worked with the florist to get these in time for the ceremony; the ceremony site was too windy for our signage and ceremony programs to be placed out, so Alex worked with the venue staff to locate a more secure easel for the sign, and then worked with our family to pass out programs after guests were seated. My partner and I also didn’t have to hear about these things until after they had been resolved, thanks to her – only afterwards, she would let us know, “By the way, X happened, and it was resolved with Y”. She was really great, and the wedding definitely would not have proceeded as planned without her.

solute pleasure to be around. We trusted her 100%, which helped us just focus on enjoying our big day, but she also knew when to ask for our opinion and check in on us. She was prepared for whatever we might need and proactively made adjustments (e.g., to the timeline) to ensure everything was running smoothly. I also really appreciated how she helped me so much with my 2 dress changes (yes, I had 3 dresses total!) so my mom and MOH didn't have to worry about messing with the buttons. All in all, hire Carla!

nd Ashley was so easy to work with and reliable. Our wedding was truly the best day of our life, and the timeline she made helped the day go so smoothly! She remembered all of the little details we went over and took so much pressure off of us and our family on the big day! I couldn’t recommend her enough.

the 3 month mark, and was always willing to provide advice and recommendations. Her coordination over the last month before the wedding made my life so much easier and I felt confident that she had things under control. On the day of the wedding, Carla was the MVP! She kept me calm, helped manage a large bridal party, and got us to where we needed to be for our church ceremony and then reception. She even solved a few fashion emergencies! She was instrumental in my day being so special and amazing. She spent time at the venue before our church to make sure everything was perfect and all vendors were accounted for. I will endlessly recommend DMS and Carla to anyone getting married!!!!

our vision, alleviating our concerns, and assuring that she would do whatever she could to resolve any issues that came up and advocate for us if need be, but she also followed through on every one of these promises. There is so much that happens on a wedding day, and there is so much that Kari handled without us needing to be involved. From our meetings before the wedding, she knew how we wanted everything to be handled, and she handled it. This left us with minimal disruption, all while getting to spend the day with a genuinely fantastic person. I can't speak more highly about Kari or Details Made Simple. Admittedly, we were on the fence about hiring a coordinator, but since the wedding, my entire family has named Kari and Details Made Simple the best return on investment. And everyone agreed that she was fantastic (including my bridesmaids, who gushed over her and were amazed that if you needed something, Kari had it in her bag). At weddings, issues often arise when you don't expect them, but Details Made Simple knows how to and is prepared to handle them.

ing her assist me on my big day. I highly recommend Details Made Simple !
