I knew immediately that she was not going to just help “plan the wedding” - she was going to invest in me. She and I worked well together because I am also very type A, so she didn’t have to prod me very much to make decisions and get things done; however, she got the other end of the spectrum with a million detailed questions, texts, and emails. She answered every question, and when she could sense that I was more stressed about something, she would call to settle my fears. She immediately had a timeline with goals for each month so that I would not get overwhelmed. I’m pretty sure she had more planning phone calls with me than were intended, but she recognized that I needed that. She recommended absolutely stellar vendors that I felt I connected with and who were cut from the same cloth as she is. She went with me to all of my vendor meetings, offering suggestions and solutions to fit my vision and my budget. When we got to 90 days out, she sent me a list of things that would be best to get done early, highlighting the most important. She created a detailed itinerary of the wedding weekend and sent it to all pertinent people well ahead of time. On the day of the wedding, everything went so smoothly, and my whole wedding party loved her. She checked in throughout the day and made sure we were on time. She was always smiling, even when I could hardly be pulled from the dance floor to cut the cake. She and her team loaded the car for my sister to take our stuff home so there was less for her to gather at the end of the night. Everything was perfect, and every detail was managed. At our venue walk through my husband and I were a bit overwhelmed but Libby kept telling us, "I got it all under control" and she most certainly did!! The day of the wedding, our linens came in the wrong color and out table stands were falling over due to excess wind (we were an outside reception). Libby came so prepared as she had a shorter table stands with her that worked so much better and she somehow got the correct linens delivered in time for the reception!! And they did such a beautiful job with the setup of all our decor and also the clean-up!!
