Thank you for making my 30th birthday celebration a fabulous dream come true. I did not give you all any guidelines to follow expect for color expectations. I must say CTE designed a masterpiece! Everyone loved it. I cannot wait for my next big event! Thank you Demetris and CTE staff.

Creative Touch did an awesome job with the decor of my wedding venue and reception. I received so many compliments. I only wish I had used them for every aspect of my wedding. They worked with my budget and really delivered. I will be using them soon to plan my parents 50th anniversary vowel renewal. Can't wait to work with them again!! Thank you again for everything...

Creative Touch did an amazing job with planning and designing our wedding. I have to say they went over and beyond for us. They covered every aspect of what we needed, from the design of my dress to the design of my husbands suit. Demetris put us in touch with all the top vendors and made sure we had nothing but the best service. He designed and black and white stripes and polka dot theme with a pop of yellow and it was to die for. Every one of my guest are still talking about what a great job Creative Touch did on our wedding. Our event started on time and everything ran smoothly, anything we needed his team was right there to provide. We asked for hair pins... We got them! We asked for sharpies.... We got them! We asked for safety pins... We got them! We even asked for food about 20 minutes before our wedding started and we got that too. Creative Touch truly provided The Dream Experience for us as well as our guest! We could not have asked for anything more! (And our Wedding went VIRAL) ~ Darrus and Shanna Cofield!

Creative Touch Events is the place of my dreams. I have used them twice. And once I think of a reason to use them again, I will do so. Demetris Faison and CTE made my wedding dreams come true a little over 8 years ago. So I knew when I wanted to plan a surprise 50th birthday party for my husband exactly who to go to…CTE of course. I had so many juxtaposing ideas for what I wanted for this party and I didn’t know how I was going to pull them together. Demetris heard all of them (King of NY, a sports theme and showcasing the 50th year without using gold like everyone uses for 50) and pulled them together so effortlessly it was as if they were born to be together. And it was done in a way that was classy like my husband and a little over the top like myself. He remembered details about us from 8 years ago to add to the event that I would not have thought of. The level of attention that he brought to the event was incredible. And on top of that, the attention he paid to me as a planner was awe inspiring. You see, it was my husband that kept me on track for things when our wedding was planned. Since this was a surprise party for him who was going to keep me on track? The answer…Demetris. I was on my way to a meeting he set up for me to meet a vendor at the same time he was about to board a plane to meet a client and he called to say, “Kym, you should be in your car on your way to meet XYZ Caterer.” Now that is service. He was that on top of things. No request was too small. He answered me no matter where he was. He emailed, called or text. He was always available. He was cognizant of the fact that it was a surprise and knew when to call and not to call because obviously there were times I would be with my husband. The day of the event was flawless. Everything looked fabulous. Much like on the day of my wedding, I walked into each room and was awed. Our guests are still talking about how everything looked and that is exactly what I wanted. One of my friends remarked “They must be the people in charge because they look so calm.” I asked who they were talking about and they pointed out Demetris and Derrick of CTE. That goes to show you that on the day of your event you have people taking care of you that look calm because they know what they are doing. And are not running around acting as if this is their 1st time performing. And that is exactly what you want. So for top notch planning and execution, design and attention to detail as well as attention to the client call CTE. You won’t regret it.

I can not say enough great things about Demetris and his team. He was beyond amazingly wonderful in the coordination and decoration of my wedding. I sent Demetris a few photos from pinterest to give him an idea of the style I liked and he created a wedding beyond my imagination. He is truly is a dreammaker of weddings! Demetris went above and beyond for me in so many different ways, I can not list them all. Demetris assisted in picking out my jewerly, hairstyling suggestions, and also coordinating the outfits of my wedding party. Again totally amazing!!!!

Creative Touch Design ruined my wedding day. We had spent over $20,000 on my décor for my wedding in Greensboro, NC in August 2014. DO NOT USE THEM AT ANY COST. First, they would not communicate with the managers at the hotel about their arrival times on the date of my wedding. Then, on the date of the wedding, they spray painted leaves for the décor on the dance floors of the hotel, ruining the hotel floor. They were disorganized, completely unprofessional, and rude to the hotel staff they were supposedly cooperating with. On the date of my wedding, which was a 400+ person event, they showed up at 3 PM to set up the décor for an event that started at 6:30 PM as Demetrius had scheduled 2 earlier weddings that day. On the day of my wedding, they delayed opening the hotel doors for 2 hours because the Creative Touch Design team was very busy scrambling to get the décor ready. I waited 2 hours in my bridal suite while Demetrius and 2 OTHER PEOPLE tried to decorate 40+ tables with elaborate décor. Then my wedding planners, The Event Trio, stepped in and tried to salvage the day to help Demetrius and his scrambling team. When I walked down the aisle, I could not pay attention to anything. Apparently they had promised my mom an arch for the entrance of the wedding hall filled with flowers. According to guests, it almost FELL DOWN on top of the guests it was so unsteady. Then, as I observed from the stage, things on the stage looked disheveled, half the tables didn’t have centerpieces because Creative Touch could not finish in time for the ceremony. Demetrius was impossible to get a hold of during the whole process and various vendors trying to coordinate with him also had issues –he never called back and never responded. I have not posted a review as I have tried to work out a deal with them but nothing panned out, so here I am. I am happy to talk about my experience in more detail– you can email me at mariamq786@yahoo.com if you have questions. In summary, DO NOT USE CREATIVE TOUCH DESIGN! They ruined my wedding. My mother’s heart was broken after she saw the pictures of our wedding stage – she only has one child and she gets depressed after she looks at the terrible, messy décor.

The ceremony was to begin at 6 pm, and the venue allowed vendors to start setting up at 4:30 pm. Understandably, it was not ideal in terms of the time allotted for set-up. However, on the big day, they did not begin setting up on time. They apparently arrived early, but waited until 4:30 to begin unloading the car instead of having everything ready to go. The 30 minutes they spent unloading essentially made them late - precious time which should have gone toward setting up. The person in charge was Demetris Faison, and he was rude/unprofessional. When the groom's mother asked him why he was starting at 5 pm, he snapped at her and said that the venue did not allow them to enter until 4:30. It was unnecessary to show anger toward a legitimate question. Due to their late start, the ceremony started 45 minutes late, which equated into time lost during the reception later that night. Venues can be strict about end times, and this venue did not allot extra time without cost due to a late start. Later, when setting up the reception, Demetris dropped the photographer's flash from a flash stand when trying to hastily move it without the photographer's permission. The flash fell about 8-10 feet and the photographer was obviously upset. When confronted by the photographer, Mr. Faison showed no remorse and walked away as if nothing happened. Additionally, Mr. Faison insisted on taking a photo for his website after his team completed setting up the reception, although we were running 1 hour behind - and 30 minutes of that lost time was due to his tardiness. At this point, it was past time for the reception dinner to begin (the ceremony and cocktail hour had been completed), yet he seemed more concerned about obtaining a photo. When confronted, he pushed hard for the photo. An argument ensued - which should have been unnecessary in the first place - and he lost his temper. He implied that I be a slave that holds the door open for all the guests that were waiting outside to enter the reception since that's what the wedding party wanted so badly. He then stormed off. It seems that he places the promotion of his business over the wedding party who paid him to be there. I believe that Mr. Faison is the owner, and that day he did not impress anyone. He is supposed to be leading his team with professionalism, but it was lacking. In the end, his team completed the job that he was hired to do, and he did do some things right. However, his negative attitude compromised the flow of the wedding, and in my opinion, customer service trumps all. Unfortunately, due to these reasons, I believe that Creative Touch is currently not worth the investment until they work on their professionalism.

a friend referred me to this vendor. i had seen the floral work he did at her wedding and it looked nice. met with owner and discussed my needs and expressed that i had been to another florist and what that person was going to charge and let him know that it was more than i was prepared for. also emailed him and in the email expressed that i would like to keep my budget under a certain amount. instead of taking both opportunities to say "you know i think your budget is too small for what you're asking for" he contacted me after sending me an estimate that was even higher than the one i had told him about that i had been previously quoted (it was even more than one i told him i thought was too high for me). when he asked me my budget and i told him as i finished talking i waited for him to respond....and heard silence. i believe he hung up on me. if he didn't, the call may have dropped, but he never called or emailed me again. Which was fine with me in the end considering he apparantly does not work with all budgets and it didn't seem that there would be anything we could do to get the total down from where it was to anything remotely near what i could afford. the way he handled things was just not professional in my opinion. he could have just nicely informed me that he didn't think i could get what i was asking for with my budget and made some other suggestions on what could be more cost effective...which was like my mantra through all of our meetings. i let him know what i liked and my colors and let him know that i was open to ANY ideas that could keep costs down...never got any of those ideas. he has nice work...but be up front about your budget and ask outright if it's something he can work with. hopefully he can be honest and let you know up front if he can't instead of sending you an invoice and hanging up the phone on you.

Professional planning from start to finish took care of ALL the fine details. Our Dream Wedding was made a reality!
