From the moment we booked our wedding, we knew we were in great hands. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, but what truly made our experience unforgettable was the incredible team behind it.
Ashley was amazing from the very beginning. Even while preparing for and returning from maternity leave, she was attentive to every detail and genuinely cared about creating a meaningful, personalized experience for us. No question was ever too big or too small. Whether we were discussing important timeline details or asking something as simple as what dinner options were available for our two-year-old daughter, she always responded with kindness, patience, and thoughtful solutions. Her communication and organization gave us complete confidence throughout the planning process.
On our wedding day, Peter was an absolute rockstar. He was everywhere we needed him to be, always with a smile, and made every request happen without hesitation. No matter what came up, he handled it calmly and seamlessly, allowing us to stay fully present and enjoy every moment. He truly was a gem and such an important part of making our day feel effortless and stress-free.
The only downside of our experience was that the attached hotel was still undergoing renovations during our wedding weekend, which unfortunately impacted some of our guests' stays. While that was disappointing, we don't feel it reflects the venue or the incredible events team, who went above and beyond to make our wedding day everything we had hoped for.
Because of Ashley, Peter, and the entire team, everything flowed beautifully from start to finish. We never had to worry about a thing—we were simply able to soak in every moment of the best day of our lives.
We are beyond grateful for the care, professionalism, and genuine kindness we experienced throughout the entire process. If you're looking for a venue with a team that treats your wedding as if it were their own, this is the place. We cannot recommend them highly enough!

Ashley was great to work with from booking our date to ironing out all the details leading up to the day of the wedding. On the day of the wedding, Peter was wonderful to have there. He made sure everything was in order, double-checking details without us even having to ask. Peter was professional, kind, and super efficient, ensuring our special day went off without a hitch. Food was delicious, served hot and presented perfectly. We got to do sparklers outside too which was wonderful as well. We highly recommend the Devens Common Center to any couple planning their wedding!

My guests loved being able to go out onto the deck since it was a beautiful night and everyone raved about the food. We had about 150 guests so the ceremony outside on the patio was perfect. calls back and forth , many trips to the venue to check things out and drop things off. I can't say enough good things about our whole experience working with Jen Roy and her staff. Every question was answered promptly. Any particular requests were followed through with .The facility is beautiful and very well kept- During our reception the rest rooms were cleaned and restocked 2x to make sure things were spotless. All the food was amazing. They have a tasting event so you have the opportunity to taste all the dishes offered before choosing your menu selections .The day of the wedding all the wait staff were very professional. The food was served hot with beautiful presentation. We have nothing but happy memories of the whole very special day!!

Each room also has a pull out couch, which was super helpful as we booked our room block a little late and the hotel was running low on rooms with two double beds. The front desk and housekeeping staff were extremely friendly and helpful and let us view an example room a couple weeks before the wedding. They also offer a shuttle service to various reception venues if you are getting married in the area. I would definitely recommend using this hotel for room blocks!

The reception venue is simple but elegant with spacious area for cocktail party inside, along with outside patio and great deck for guests to have a drink, smoke a cigar and socialize. The ballroom was set up perfectly, features a large dance floor with amply room for a band & dj, and well spaced tables with floor length tablecloths :) Dinner was delicious and guests continue to say how wonderful the day was! We booked over 50+ rooms at the "attached" hotel and proceed to Deven's Grill ( 2 minutes WALK , on the grounds) for the after party! This is the place you are looking for if you want beautiful reception venue, hotel accomodations for your guests and after party all within walking! A few minor problems were brought to our attention by our guests, but overall it didn't effect the fabulous time had by all!

We spent a good amount of time trying to find a place that didn't break the bank, but that would still provide excellent food and service. With Devens Common Center, we struck gold. We were able to hold our wedding on a Saturday in the summer because the minimum there was significantly lower than all the other places we looked at.
I would recommend Devens Common Center over and over to brides, and I would also recommend it for special events.

eeting with Jen Roy, we immediately called her twice & left voice messages and even wrote emails saying that we wanted to book it for our wedding venue. We were very confused as to why we never heard back from anyone! They clearly did not want our services, and after doing other searches found similar reviews of other people being disappointed with them not being able to book this venue. I don't know if you have to have "connections", a certain guest count (which ours was over 150), or what, but we felt that this was beyond UNPROFESSIONAL! However, things always do work out since we ended up finding a venue that provided us great services, quality food, amazing scenic views and all for an unbelievable price.

been better. We wanted a venue that would be able to accommodate many out of town guests, have a classy, fresh feeling to it and not break our bank. The Devens Common Center was it. I can't get over how absolutely incredible working with Jen Roy and the staff at the common center was. I am a little sad it's over, only because she is so incredible. I am a lady of many questions, clarifications and Jen was SO responsive and reassuring. She never once made me feel like an inconvenience and explained the process to both John and I to make sure we were in control of our special day. Her event manager, Nate, was great also. They made sure appetizers were delivered to the bridal party while photos were being taken and generally checked in on us all night. Everything was set up for us and all we had to do was show up. It was spectacular. My guests are all still raving about our wedding and how the food, environment and energy was the best of any wedding they have been to. I'm talking the prime rib was phenomenal. In fact, I think it was BETTER on my wedding day than at the tasting, if that's even possible!
There are 3 packages to choose from, but Jen was fantastic about helping us craft a package that worked for us and our budget. Our night in the bridal suite was included no matter what. We have NO regrets and ALL of the best memories. It really was the BEST DAY EVER!

rk with. No matter how many changes we made including menu changes or our guest count they were happy to oblige. Jennifer Roy was our Wedding Coordinator and she made me feel comfortable and helped us with suggestions the entire time. I thought I would have so much to do the day of the wedding to make sure things were the way I wanted them but her whole team took care of everything. Our 160 guests not only loved the service they were given but I heard nothing but wonderful things. The ceremony outside was set up just the way we wanted and the reception was absolutely gorgeous. I wouldn't say I'm a bridezilla by any means but the day of our wedding I was 5 1/2 months pregnant and without even asking the staff made sure I was comfortable and had water the entire time. We would recommend the Devens Common Center to anyone who wants to have a beautiful day without any stress at all. They gave us and our guests a day we will never forget and I'm so grateful for that.

perfect fit for us. From day 1 they were very helpful and always answered any questions we had. They have a discounted rate for quests that are staying at the hotel for the wedding and it really was helpful as we had quite a few out of town guests. We got the honeymoon suite included in our package and it is beautiful and very spacious for all 4 of my girls and I to get ready in. I loved how we could have the ceremony and reception in the same place and not have to worry about transportation. The food was delicious and got alot of great comments from my guests. The waitstaff was very nice and everything ran smoothly. The ballroom is so beautiful for both the ceremony and reception. I couldnt have asked for a better venue.

the location, staff, decor and prices. Devens is conveniently located right off the highway and was easy for out of town guests to find. It was big enough to hold our 185 guests with plenty of room for dancing and space between the tables. We had our ceremony inside and the walkway between the hotel and Common Center made it so I didn't have to go out in the heat at all. We were able to get ready with plenty of space for hair and makeup in the bridal suite and it was so nice to not have to worry about transportation by having the hotel next door. The staff were more than friendly and accomodating. They went above and beyone to make sure that we had a stress/worry free day and everything fell into place wonderfully. All of our guests commented on how tasty the food was and how helpful the staff were both at the Common Center and the Marriott. We made all of our centerpieces and they gave us a space the day before to assemble them and refridgerated them for us! Both sides of our families had a wonderful time and my husband and I couldn't be more pleased with the help we recieved throughout the planning process and day of. I think I was the least stressed bride my family has seen! Thank you to all of the staff for making our day exactly what we were looking for!
