A Romantic & Charming Keepsake from your Big Day

Accepting Inquiries for 2025 Events (2023 & 2024 books are closed!) If you're looking for a unique guest experience on your wedding day, and wish to gift yourself or a loved one a treasured artwork capturing your scene of choice, look no further than Live Wedding & Event painting by Devin Tormey Art. On the day of your wedding or event, I will arrive 2 hours before to begin setting up and working on the background. As guests arrive they will get to view the live painting experience as the work takes shape, and they are always welcome to chat with me and ask curious questions! You choose the moment to be painted, whether you'd like to capture your first kiss, first dance, or a stylized moment in between. I take pride in understanding my couples, their personalities & preferences, and work to guide them through the quick and simple booking process to secure my services for their event. My artistic approach pays attention to detail, capturing all the elements you’ve thoughtfully implemented into your wedding day. Your live painting will be a bright and endearing representation of yourself, and your background of choice. I pay close attention to proportion and color to realistically capture the individuals and event space. At the end of the evening, I bring the painting back to my studio for final touchups. From the dimples in your cheeks to the details in your attire, I strive to create a realistic and charming work of art that sparks conversation, inspires memories, and captures one of the most important moments in your life.

Devin painted our Sept 2023 wedding and was a huge hit!!! First off, Devin is extremely kind and such an easy person to work with. I reached out to her after stumbling upon her instagram page and I am so glad I did! She is an incredibly talented artist!!! Seeing her paint our ceremony scene during the evening was overwhelmingly beautiful. Our guests were shocked at how detailed and gorgeous her painting was, and loved interacting with her during the reception! Devin is one of a kind and we would recommend her to absolutely everyone!!!

Speechless. What an unbelievable talent Devin has! When we were looking for live wedding painters for our wedding, we came across Devin's work and knew we had to book her. From the start she has been so beyond kind, wonderful and helpful. She made the entire process so easy! While on the phone with her, she was so thorough. She made us feel so comfortable with her friendly and warm personality. Over the phone, she asked what location we would like to be painted in front of. She sent a whole presentation of suggestions. It was clear that she did so much research beforehand. We were so impressed! After our ceremony, she snapped a quick picture of us in the pose we wanted for the painting (not even standing in front of the location we chose). She was able to take the picture of us we wanted and somehow, with her Devin magic, placed us onto the background we wanted on her device and she made sure we approved of it before she began working her painting magic! The whole process was incredible to watch. When we lined up for our introductions, I was able to get a first quick glance at her work and I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY. Her painting looked just like our venue, it was perfect. It was a mind-blowing experience being able to check in on her progress throughout the night. Our guests were blown away, many checking out her Instagram (some honestly telling me they were up that night checking out her work). When we walked over at the end of the night, we were beyond impressed. Devin captured a moment and was able to make it come to life through her painting. It was everything we dreamed of and more! Devin was so kind and we could tell she was equally as excited when she saw our reactions. It's clear that Devin cares about every couple that she paints, and she pours so much love and time into her paintings. Devin is beyond extremely talented! She's easy to work with, organized, kind, and wonderful. I'm telling you, you will not regret booking Devin! Devin is SO talented! If you want a unique and unforgettable experience at your wedding - don't hesitate and book her! She captured our first kiss and it was so special to have her painting the scene live for our guests to watch and interact with her. The final product came out better than we could have imagined, and you can tell she pours her heart into each painting. We loved that we could watch her process from start to finish on her Instagram account too. She is so lovely to work with and very accommodating with any ideas or visions you might have. I can't recommend her enough!!!!

We are beyond words!! Devin is hands down one of the most talented and sweetest people I’ve met. She completed a live wedding painting for us March 11, 2023, and her talent was worth every penny and then some! She even was so eager to add our two pups in when we asked. We got so many compliments from family and friends about her work throughout the day. I am an admirer who wholeheartedly believes that life is a wonderful adventure. The special moments we experience deserve to be remembered, which is why I specialize in both live event painting and commissioned paintings that capture your most cherished moments and memories. I've been creating treasured oil and acrylic paintings for those who wish to commemorate life's beautiful moments since 2015, and I began my live event painting journey in April of 2022. Since then, I've had the pleasure of capturing over 20+ weddings, providing heirlooms for couples to pass down for generations.
