We absolutely loved working with Dahlia Events for our wedding. We went with their Rosebud collection and Deliece was our main point of contact, she was truly a joy and an absolute...
pleasure to work with from start to finish.
She took care of everything we needed, and so much more than we even knew to ask for. Deliece came prepared with spreadsheets, thoughtful questions, and clear guidance that helped us navigate decisions we didn’t even realize we needed to make, but that proved to be essential. Her organization and attention to detail made the entire planning process feel manageable and well-supported.
She handled communication with all of our vendors seamlessly and always made us feel completely taken care of, no matter the detail. When a few hiccups came up along the way, she addressed them with such ease, professionalism, and genuine empathy that we never felt stressed or worried.
Beyond her incredible competence, Deliece also brought the warmest, most positive energy, our calls were always something we genuinely looked forward to. And on the wedding day itself, nothing was missed (and I truly mean nothing). Everything ran so smoothly, allowing us to fully enjoy the day without a single concern.
We cannot recommend Dahlia Events highly enough. Working with Deliece was one of the very best decisions we made for our wedding.
From the moment we first reached out to Dhalia Events, we were impressed by their quick, efficient, and responsive communication style. They were so thorough in their planning that...
our wedding day felt completely effortless - the Dhalia team truly made everything come together seamlessly. I loved working with the entire Dhalia crew, they were all so nice and helpful that I was honestly sad to say goodbye to them when our day was over. I would recommend Dhalia Events 100 times over to any couple planning their wedding!
I highly recommend any bride to get a coordinator, even if you think you don’t need one! I got one to help with my stress with planning. I also had concerns about the venue commun...
icating well before the wedding and had high turnover with my venue coordinator. I wanted to hire a coordinator to advocate for us. I will praise all day long about Melissa and her amazing eye to detail and dedication to our wedding in the weeks leading up to the big day. We had several meetings- some between an hour and two hours long. She coordinated all vendors and tracked down the smallest detail. She texted, called and emailed my venue who was pretty unresponsive through the process. I handed over what I had- vendors and ideas and she seamlessly pulled everything together. My big day was everything I dreamed it to be and better. I had absolutely no stress whatsoever on the big day because I knew Melissa had it all taken care of. I had 5 guests who unexpectedly couldn’t attend day of, and I asked Melissa if she could coordinate with my venue to make the tables with those guests smaller which she had pulled off. Antonia, part of Melissa’s team was amazing and attended to my every need on the big day- from Advil to giving me water throughout the day. She was very caring and I appreciated her cheerful mood when I was overwhelmed at times. Guests complimented that the wedding was the best they’ve been to; that it was so seamless. The wedding was so well thought of with every little detail and I know it’s because of the team that made sure this happened! Thank you Melissa and the Dhalia team for making that happen!

he day of our wedding went perfectly - from the vendor coordination, from helping organizing the wedding party, and making us feel at ease and comfortable all day. They helped us to execute our vision above and beyond! Special shout out to Kimberly who was available and considerate to the bride the entire wedding day. Our wedding day exceeded our wildest expectations - with behind-the-scenes coordination from Dhalia. Bonus points for great sense of humor too! Would absolutely recommend them to any couple on their wedding day, especially ones that are hesitant with decision-making! They made the day, and we are so grateful to have been able to work with them.

osely with Melissa the entire time; she was incredibly thorough and genuinely cared about every detail. I didn't really have much help planning the wedding aside from the Dhalia team, so it meant so much that they took the role seriously and were there to guide me every step of the way, from vendor selection and managing the timeline to providing their general expertise, etc.
Despite having less time to plan the wedding (around 5 months or so), I felt confident that they could pull it off, and they did not disappoint. From our initial call, their confidence, experience, and professionalism assured me, which was exactly what I needed because my partner and I had no idea what we were doing. They executed everything perfectly and brought my vision to life. It really was a perfect day. On the day of the wedding, their additional staff was exceptional. A special shoutout to Antonia for her support and attentiveness. She was a literal angel!
You can't go wrong with Dhalia Events. They made my wedding day truly magical!
Dhalia Events holds a special place for my family! We worked with Deliece in 2019 for my sisters wedding, and again for mine May 2024. The attention to detail, the strong communica...
tion, and round the clock service could not have made wedding planning as stress free as it was without Deliece and her team. They all go above and beyond to make your day so special, meaningful, and absolutely perfect! I wish we could do it all over again!!
I had not felt that we needed a wedding planner as our venue provided a wedding consultant who was a pleasure to work with and assured me that he and his staff would serve all our ...
needs. My friends insisted that I needed a wedding planner so that I could enjoy the day, so I relented. After interviewing several planners, I chose Dahlia because of their professionalism and the variety of packages that they offered which allowed me to pay for the services that we needed. Melissa was a godsend. She met with us regularly beginning ten weeks prior to the event and made sure that we were organized and attending to all the details. She was incredibly thorough and always quickly responded to any of our questions. Our zoom meetings were productive, helpful, and certainly gave us piece of mind that we were going to be ready for the big weekend. Melissa was excellent at respecting our wishes and ideas and helping us to make them become reality. She is focused and practical. We had a few little glitches that I enlisted Melissa's help in and she always came through. The maid of honor’s dress got wet from sitting in a puddle in the car and when it dried it had a big stain. I called Melissa and she called me back five minutes later with the name of a local dry cleaner who she had contacted and was waiting for us to drop off the dress. They made it look like new and it was ready in plenty of time. On the day before the event, we met the rest of the staff at the rehearsal and knew that we were in great hands. Melissa, Delice and Antonia took care of everything. On the wedding day, everything went according to the schedule that Melissa had carefully planned and communicated to the wedding party and vendors. At the event, the team was everywhere and attended to every detail. I cannot say enough about how happy I am that we had the Dahlia team helping us. I had no idea how many moving parts were involved in a wedding and, thanks to Melissa, Delice, and Antonia, the day was a dream come true.
I cannot recommend Dhalia Events more! Melissa and Deliece are truly pros. I went into the wedding planning process thinking that I would have everything under control, but they go...
above and beyond and helped me with details that I wouldn't have even thought of. They made the process so seamless and really planned everything perfectly, so during the wedding, we were able to fully relax and enjoy the night. In addition to Melissa and Deliece's help throughout the entire process, Antonia's help on the day of the wedding was crucial to its success and the whole team really made our wedding absolutely perfect.
Deliece & Melissa were integral to the success of our beautiful wedding, and life savers in their day-of coordination of the event. I selected a ten week package where my fiancée a...
nd I selected our vendors and personalized the event to our tastes, but in the two and a half months leading up to the big day they dove in head first to get a handle on every detail and help us polish off any items on our to do list that we were struggling with.
After hours of meetings to extract information that had been swirling around in my brain for a year, we were provided with a minute by minute timeline of the day, along with an entire decision making workbook that lead us through ceremony choices, first dance planning and a comprehensive item inventory to make sure no detail was left behind. They provided a budgeting workbook that made my little accountant heart flutter, and offered guidance based on years of practical experience working events and seeing how guests congregate and react to specific elements. Once their package kicked in I was able to pass off tasks that were stressing me out and know that they were being handled completely.
Their additional day-of team member, Antonia, shadowed me (the bride) for most of the day and acted like a fairy godmother—handing me an already opened bottle of water or much needed electric fan, provided hair pins out of thin air, tackling my complicated bustle, and generally being warm, pleasant, and comforting in moments of anxiety. She melted into the background when I was on, and offered a protective enclave to sink back into when I needed a minute.
The Dhalia team was flawless in their execution of the plan, and tactful in their handling of complex family relationships and herding of guests. Their pricing was clear and uncomplicated, and they were happy to answer straightforward questions with concise answers and no awkwardness or pressure to spend more than planned.
Alanis Morissette prepared me for the possibility of rain on my wedding day, but Dhalia made sure my vision still came together perfectly! Thank you so much!!
Melissa and Deliece make a truly amazing planning team! We had a long (2 year) engagement and booked Dhalia Events as our planners roughly 18 months before the actual wedding day, ...
but that didn't stop them from going above and beyond from the start. Not only that, they were always extremely organized, receptive to feedback, and wanted to make sure they understood exactly what we wanted/envisioned for our special day. From helping organize the budget, to corresponding with vendors/venue, to being absolute rockstar day-of coordinators, we couldn't have been happier with our choice to book Dhalia. Thanks so much from the bottom of our hearts for making our beautiful wedding run so smoothly, Melissa and Deliece!

s team made our lives so much easier as we had been struggling to move forward with planning our wedding since we live in CA but having a wedding in NY. The monthly check-in meetings and all of the research and expertise they provided us were so well-organized and super helpful. From deciding our vendors and all the way to the day of our wedding, Deliece and her team were always friendly and professional, keeping you engaged and on track with everything! They eased all of our anxiety and worries and made sure that our wedding day would be perfect. I cannot recommend them enough, they were an amazing team to work with and easily the best decision we've made. It was an absolute pleasure to have them by our sides for our big day. Thank you so much for everything!

hing as stress-free as possible. When we had a potential disaster with another vendor just a few days before the wedding, the Dhalia team saved the day! They made sure our wedding day was absolutely perfect, and we loved having them there with us for the day of. I cannot recommend Dhalia Events highly enough!

ns we made for our wedding day. Many people warned me to be prepared for something to go wrong on the wedding day but with Deliece and her team by my side i was confident that it wouldn't and had the utmost faith that if something did wrong. it would be handled with precision and professionalism.
My wife and I feel relieved that we hired Deliece, Melissa, and the rest of the Dhalia team for our wedding. In the lead-up to our big day, we tracked our progress using a helpful ...
checklist they provided, and Deliece was always available for questions over email. However, we cannot state enough that across the final months and days, and especially during the actual celebration, they were INVALUABLE! They helped us respond to last minute, unfortunate surprises concerning seating and rain plans by asking us for our preferences, collaborating actively with us, and researching/proposing solutions. And their professionalism! The actual event went off without a hitch due to their careful and constant attention to detail; impressive systems (technological and otherwise); knowledge of us, our vendors, and our timeline; and coordination with me and my wife. We were able to enjoy our event to the fullest. Thank you, ladies!
The Dahlia team is amazing! As the maid of honor for my sister, I was prepared to do a lot of planning and keep the wedding party on track day of. Lucky for us, we had Melissa and ...
her team, who handled every detail and made the day so wonderfully calm, relaxed, and organized. Melissa and her amazing team took care of everything, and their expertise and relaxed presence made such a difference. Rather than worrying about timing and vendors and all the other million details, we were able to feel relaxed all day and actually enjoy getting ready altogether. Knowing that Melissa and her team had everything covered allowed us to actually have fun and be stress free! This team gets our full recommendation and all our gratitude. If you’re considering hiring a day-of planner, DO IT and hire this amazing team!!!!

ur wedding, Deliece was incredibly helpful in every way. She provided candid advice when we asked for it, kept us on schedule, documented everything in detail, let us lead on the things we wanted to organize ourselves, and took the time to understand our vision for our wedding so she could help us prioritize and spend thoughtfully. Where Deliece knew of multiple vendors, she gave us honest advice about whom to hire; where she didn’t, she reached out to her colleagues and was able to get us informed opinions about who to work with and why. Dhalia was also affordable, especially by comparison with some of the expensive (and overbearing) planners we spoke with before we found them. Our wedding itself was flawless - our friends could not stop gushing about how beautiful and well organized everything was, and how much it reflected us as a couple. There is no way we could’ve pulled it off without the Dhalia crew. In fact, I think our single biggest piece of advice coming out of our wedding is that hiring planners is critical - and I can imagine no one better than the Dhalia team. We are so glad we chose to work with them, and we recommend them without reservation to anyone getting married in upstate New York.

onestly were both so great to work with.
Throughout the entire process Melissa stayed connected with myself and all of our venues. She kept on top of every detail and made the process so smooth for us.
We had a backyard wedding and Melissa was great with ideas and suggestions for things I would not have thought of. It was so great being able to leave the day of stress and coordination behind knowing they the Dhalia team had everything under control!
Our day was perfect and Melissa and Deliece played such an important part in that!
The Dhalia Events team was absolutely one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. Their level of professionalism and attention to detail were truly outstanding - I have never ...
seen someone as detail oriented as Deliece!
In their hands I never had to worry or question if something was done. They kept meticulous track of everything and made the wedding planning process so enjoyable for me by stripping out my involvement in many paperwork signings and email correspondence, leaving my time for all of the exciting parts! Their team kept us on track with a schedule , recommending vendors as we went along if there was anything I felt I needed an opinion on. Although they have planned many weddings, they were fantastic in ensuring the day felt authentically like ours and helped keep aesthetic, vendor choice and details true to us. They were so kind and fun, and day of offered nothing but extreme support. The small team added a level of personalization that couldn't have made us happier. They are a must book!!

ed because I knew I could rely on her to make sure everything was on track. Our venue was also difficult to communicate with so Melissa took over all communications with them so I didn't have to deal with the stress.
On my wedding day, both Melissa and Deliece were there to coordinate the day. They had an incredibly detailed and organized day-of schedule (that they shared with our families and entire bridal party prior to our wedding too!), and there were zero issues that came up on the day that I was aware of because Melissa and Deliece made sure that everything ran smoothly and that me and my husband felt stress-free and could enjoy our wedding day.
I'm an incredibly type A person and still found a wedding planner incredibly useful. They help you with every single detail and our regular check-in calls were so helpful. If you're questioning whether you should hire Dhalia, you shouldn't- they're truly the best in the business and made my wedding day the best day of my life! I highly recommend Dhalia as a wedding planner!

e could not have done this without them. We were thoroughly impressed by the organization, tools, and insight provided throughout the entire time we spent together. Their vast knowledge of the industry coupled with the authenticity of their interactions was everything we needed to put our minds at ease. My husband and I knew that above all, we wanted to be truly present in every single moment that passed. The Dhalia team helped us accomplish that – time may have flown by, but it felt as though the world paused for us. That’s what a talented team of professionals create! Everything was seamless. From our first introduction to our wedding day and beyond, they created such a personalized experience that we will never forget. We absolutely recommend Dhalia Events to anyone planning a wedding or any special occasion and look forward to working with them in the future!

rdinators like Deliece and Melissa are skilled, experienced professionals in a niche field who can make a huge difference in the quality of your experience. And what's the point if you don't get to enjoy your wedding experience?
Here are some specific things that Deliece and Melissa did that were super-helpful on the day of:
1) I couldn't find the body tape I had bought, but they had some on hand.
2) I needed to stay hydrated after I got my makeup done, so they provided straws so I could drink without messing up my lipstick.
3) The groom's vest had fallen to the bottom of his garment bag after we dry cleaned it, but they had a portable steamer and were able to get the wrinkles out.
4) They arranged a tent for our DJ for the ceremony, which was outdoors, when they discovered at the last minute that the contract required a tent rain-or-shine.
5) They made sure we ate dinner (and dessert).
6) They made sure waitstaff were replacing our drinks at regular intervals during the reception.
7) They brought a handheld portable fan, which was a lifesaver since it was more than 90 degrees outside.
8) They provided transportation around the property, which was a vineyard that wasn't very walkable in my nice shoes.
9) A friend left something in their car by accident at the end of the night, and they arranged to mail it to her a few days later.
All of these things were nice surprises. It's not like we asked them to bring straws, it didn't even occur to us that we'd need them. But Deliece and Melissa brought them anyway because this is their job and they know what they're doing. They were PREPARED.
I also want to note that I did not buy full wedding planning services from them, just month-of coordination, but they never treated me like a less important client. There were cases in the months leading up to the wedding where I asked them for help that was actually outside the scope of services we had agreed on, and they were very professional in letting me know that it wasn't included in my package. I appreciate that they enforced their boundaries so politely and respectfully-- I like that in a person.
Overall, I can't recommend Dhalia Events highly enough.

nd they really took the time to learn every detail of our wedding to make sure they were prepared when the day came. I consider myself to be very organized, but they suggested steps for preparation that I never considered that ended up being absolutely essential for making the day go smoothly. On the day-of they worked INCREDIBLY hard making sure everything went according to plan. They took care of set up, they stayed late and took care of clean up, and they handled every single thing that went wrong. It's difficult to emphasize how much stress they took off my plate between coordinating with vendors, making sure everyone was in the right place at the right time, and fixing things as they went wrong. When it turned out the bustle of my dress left too long of a train they broke our safety pins and a sewing kit and fixed it themselves to make sure I would be able to dance without stepping on my dress. When the bus we hired failed to pick up our guests from the hotel to bring them to the ceremony they helped get everyone Ubers and got the Uber rides reimbursed by the bus company so our guests didn't have to pay out of pocket. I can't recommend them highly enough!

nto the big day. They had worked at our venue (and with some of our vendors) many times before so having those established relationships definitely helped to make things run smoothly leading up to and on our wedding day. Can't recommend them enough!

y helpful in making that happen. There was SO MUCH work to be done and they helped through the whole process. They are so detail oriented and the portal they provide is truly a life saver. Melissa and Deliece are so sweet and so accommodating and were there whenever I needed ANYTHING. On the day of the wedding I was also provided with a Bridal Assistant. Antonia was a dream. She was there by my side whenever I needed something even if it was just a water. I highly recommend the Dhalia team whether you are an event big or small.

anning a wedding. I had gone months without making any progress in my wedding planning since I got engaged. The second I hired Dhalia events as my wedding planners, we hit the ground running. Checking every box and making sure they were tailoring all of my wedding plans to fit exactly what I was envisioning was something they executed flawlessly. I cannot say enough amazing things about Deliece. She is organized, punctual, reassuring, and completely on top of it. Her expertise especially shined through on my wedding day. The entire Dhalia team treated me like a QUEEN. From making sure I was hydrated and well fed, to taking every pressure off of me, they executed my wedding PERFECTLY. I was able to completely enjoy my day stress-free from the second I opened my eyes to the moment I went to sleep. I couldn’t have felt more calm and present. Deliece and the Dhalia team is someone you can TRUST to make sure things go perfectly on your wedding day while you enjoy every single second. I am so eternally grateful they came into my life. Best decision ever.

ut the wedding day, 'you can tell they've done this before!' From our very first planning call straight through the wedding weekend, Deliece and Melissa helped to keep everything organized and on track, making sure we never missed a deadline or forgot any detail -- from rentals to our floor plan to hotel blocks, and all the other million things that go into a wedding day. I also don't know how we would have survived our wedding day without them. Their team handled every aspect of the day and if anything went wrong, I certainly didn't know about it, which is exactly the kind of peace of mind you want your planner to offer. Beyond our professional relationship, Deliece and Melissa truly are your biggest cheerleaders and support system throughout the entire wedding process. They were easily the best decision we made and I cannot recommend them enough.

ng experience. I can’t say enough amazing things about Deliece and the team. We got the package for the day of service but I didn’t realize the amount of work they would put into it leading up to the wedding. They managed all our vendors and gave us a great timeline of the day and we had to start early with a large wedding party. We were initially nervous because of the extra cost, so if that’s a concern, let me assure you it’s well worth it for the amazing service and planning received. Our wedding day was perfect because of their work.
Incredibly professional, outstanding at making our dreams come true for venue, comic book theme, etc. I'd recommend them to everyone. We loved having Dhalia Events as our planners.
Deliece and Melissa absolutely killed it for our wedding day and we could not be more thankful!!!

viate a lot of stress leading up to the big day for me, which was key in keeping my sanity for the entire weekend. I am someone who is beyond type A and have a working background in event planning/management and they were such a great crew to work with and thought of details that never even crossed my mind! Having my event planning background, I really questioned if I would need planners because I felt like I had everything under control, but having Deliece and Melissa as part of our special day was a no-brainer! Looking back, I wish I would have found them sooner, honestly!
We had many detailed pieces and small items to set out on the day of the wedding plus an end-of-night exit that took some coordination, and everything went off without a hitch. It was important to my now husband and me that during the time leading up to the day of the event, Deliece and Melissa were very professional and always responsive - even when Deliece had just welcomed her son to their family. They are great to bounce ideas off of as well and lean on for advice and support when the dreaded but inevitable hiccups happen prior to your big day (like me getting the stomach flu 2 days before the wedding and not being able to get into town on time).
During the wedding, when anything was adjusted or if an issue came up, they presented everything to me very calmly and with a solution which I really appreciated because it kept me from getting upset or worried knowing that they had it completely handled and had my back! My dress bustle was destroyed early on after it was accidentally stepped on multiple times while dancing and the ladies were able to save the day and make sure that train wasn’t moving anymore and was secure and I would be able to party the night away.
The best part of all (aside from them being amazing people to work with) was that they knew my schedule inside and out and did not let anything slip through the cracks, which was always something I was worried about before I had planners. All of their materials and plans they create are clear and straightforward and if you choose month of coordination, there are many follow up calls and these ladies work super hard behind the scenes to make sure everything is perfect.
At the end of the night, everything was carefully put away and handled which allowed my new husband and I to be able to go off with our friends and family and continue the celebration at the after party, which were are BEYOND grateful for since there was so much partying happening during the actual wedding.
Overall, our wedding was amazing and Deliece and Melissa deserve so much credit for that! My husband and I are beyond grateful for the whole team and for helping to make our day a legit fairytale!
There is not enough space for all of the wonderful things I have to say about Dhalia owner Deliece Knights-Barnett and her team of planners (particularly Melissa and Lady). The Dha...
lia team was organized, efficient, and phenomenal communicators; any question I ever had was answered in a timely manner and they always had great vendor referrals and suggestions. They were incredibly supportive through a wedding reschedule due to COVID-19 and were always flexible when scheduling planning meetings around me and my husband’s atypical work schedules. They treated me, my husband, and my mother like family and I felt well taken care of the day of my wedding. I did not have to worry about a single thing on our wedding day which went seamlessly. I would recommend them to family and friends and would hire them again for any major event planning in the future!
Dhalia Events truly made my wedding come together. I cannot imagine how much more stressful and chaotic my wedding day would have been if I did not have the Dhalia team by my side....
They went well above and beyond the month of coordination services I purchased. I felt like they could help me solve any problem big or small. They were excellent communicators and helped me stay on top of everything I needed to do for the wedding. I would recommend the Dhalia team to anyone getting married!

y planned and prepared every detailed step to make it a success, before, during and after the wedding. We appreciated sharing your planning tools with us for reminders and any unknowns we needed to address. At every wedding, there are always unforeseen circumstances that occur, and Dhalia Events handled them professionally at every turn. Even when my hair decided to fall apart, they were there with an emergency kit ready to go to help put my hair back together. It’s the little things that add up and we couldn’t have had a memorable and tranquil wedding without them.
Thank you to team Dhalia for helping make our day super smooth and special! Deliece was timely and help keep us on track leading up to the wedding and most importantly on the weddi...
ng day. Once they arrived, I put down my phone and let them tell me where I needed to be when, so I could be present and in the moment. Definitely recommended.
We honestly could not have had such a fun and enjoyable wedding without Deliece and Melissa! Having our wedding in NY while living in NC, and also working in an industry that makes...
both of us pretty much unavailable for 6 months of the year, didn't make it possible for us to plan a wedding without a planner in the area we wanted to get married. We knew we wanted Deliece and Melissa leading our wedding planning as soon as we talked to them on the phone for the first time. Their easy-going and fun personalities, and their attention to detail, made the whole process stress-free because they knew what they were talking about, made it simple to find out answers, and they kept us on track with the tasks we had to complete ourselves. They both took the lead in communicating with our vendors and the venue to bring everyone together on the same schedule, and on the same page, so there were no question marks once our special day arrived. We truly cannot thank Dhalia Events enough for how much they helped us!
We hired Dhalia Events about 17 months before our big day, and they helped us have the wedding of our dreams! We chose the full planning package, and it was well worth it. Every de...
tail, every thought came to life the day of our wedding. The entire team was fantastic. They were very patient and communicative, especially when I'd text them random thoughts and concerns at random times of the day or night. They truly worked so hard to make sure our wedding was exactly how we wanted it to be, and for that we couldn't be more grateful! They even addressed questions and concerns that our mother's had, which was no easy feat! We had about 240 guests at our wedding, and they are still calling and texting us about how beautiful our wedding was. Deliece and Melissa, we truly cannot thank you enough!
I hired Dhalia Events 7 months ahead of my wedding and they did a great job pulling everything together so quickly. The team did not waste any time trying to gain an understanding ...
of my vision for the wedding and quickly pulled together a list of vendors to lock down for my dream wedding. They were very responsive and communicative and super easy to get in touch with for any of my concerns. On top of that, Deliece, Melissa, and Leydi were such a joy to get to know and work with. Balancing graduate school with wedding planning was a tough endeavour but they sure made things easy. On the actual wedding day, the Dhalia team was hands-on from start to finish, from promptly removing the makeup stains I accidentally got on my dress (it all got removed thankfully!) to ensuring all our vendors were accounted for, they covered all big and small details of the wedding to ensure it was a perfect day for me, my now husband, and our loved ones. I had such a great time working with them in fact that I felt a bit sad during our last weekly meeting before the wedding! Lol I highly recommend the Dhalia Team for any New York bride!!
I do not even know where to begin! Deliece and Melissa have been such a pleasure to work with from day one. I hired them to help with my month-of coordination and planning, and the...
y took over immediately upon completion of our first meeting. From friendly advice, to timeline management, they seriously eased all of my nerves during the final scramble before the wedding. Day of, I do not know what I would have done without them!!! They kept the wedding party and family on schedule, coordinated the florist and transport as they arrived, ran the show at the church and kept our photographer on task with my provided shot list. These two women are absolute life savors and seriously diminished our stress levels. Because of them, our wedding day felt even more special. Thank you to the Dhalia Team!

wonderful to work with and always a listening ear. The team was not only there to help for the “fun” stuff but was there to care during COVID and the ups and downs of the entire year. All of the team members have a heart of gold and I truly hope our relationship doesn’t end from this wedding.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping us put together the most memorable day and night possible; and more importantly, thank you for treating me as your friend!
Xoxo - Adriana
Hiring Dhalia Events to do the month of coordination for our wedding was by far the best investment my fiance and I made in our planning process. I cannot say enough good things ab...
out Deliece (owner/CEO) and her team. These women are experts in event planning/coordination. From the first time we met all the way through our wedding day, the Dhalia team was friendly, supportive, communicative, prompt, and on top of everything. I felt like a weight was lifted off of me when we began meeting with the team the month of our wedding.
In terms of the planning process, the highlights for me were that Deliece took over all vendor communication, including questions, arrival/departure planning, etc. a few weeks before the date; my email was shockingly quiet since Deliece and the team assumed all of that hard coordination/communication work. Additionally, the team is highly organized which shined through in so many ways. They put together a beautifully detailed day of timeline which we constantly referred to. They sent action item lists following every meeting so the burden or tracking what had to get done was minimized for us (bride/groom). They had awesome planning software that we used along the way (the checklist was our favorite).
I also want to mention that Deliece and her team are so personable and friendly. Working with them was truly so fun. Its clear they take time to get to know their couples and they care about the relationship a lot! They made time every call to just check in on how we were feeling/if we had concerns. There were many times we got to just chatting or laughing about something random. This speaks to how kind and thoughtful Deliece and her team are, and made me that much more comfortable and relaxed on our wedding day!
I am so grateful that Dhalia Events was part of our wedding day and I would highly recommend them to anyone planning any kind of event. They are just stellar and worth every single penny.
Thank you Dhalia Team for being an integral part of our day and running it so smoothly from start to finish!!! I TRULY mean that we couldn't have done it without you :) xo

ngs my husband and I didn’t even know we needed to think about. We planned the ceremony outside but the weather did not hold up and the Dhalia team was able to navigate all the changes needed to create the vibe we wanted inside and allowing us to enjoy the whole day and magical moments of a wedding. They were very responsive, very approachable, straight to the point and had great ideas and insight to make sure our special day went as smoothly as possible. The timeline they created for the day was very detailed and ensured that we didn’t have to do anything just enjoy the day! I’m glad we were able to get you guys on the dance floor as well! I highly recommend this Team to work on your event. Thanks again Dhalia Team!

y wedding in 4/2021. They helped me find find last minute vendors just as the COVID regulations were changing and put me at ease by creating an extremely organized schedule for my wedding day. The team set up the wedding reception decor beautifully as well. They truly went above and beyond. When my husband lost a contact during our wedding reception, Deliece even travelled back to the hotel to get his extra pair. If you’re looking for excellent and professional planners then look no further!
We decided to switch from a venue wedding to a small backyard COVID wedding earlier this year. My mom found Dhalia Events to help coordinate all the moving parts of my wedding. I d...
on’t think I can say enough about how much they helped make my wedding day wonderful, stress free, and the best night of my life. From start to finish, everyone on their team was a delight to work with. Deliece, Melissa, and Lady had every hour from 9:00 AM to midnight completely planned and organized. Their timeline is a work of art! They all also consistently stayed involved throughout the process which I really appreciated. Lady and JP were on site all day to make sure everything ran smoothly, and they did such a fantastic job.
I am SO grateful that because of this team I was able to actually enjoy my wedding without worrying about a thing. I truly had an amazing night, as did all of our guests. So thank you so much for all you did! I highly, highly recommend Dhalia Events for any event you are planning!

on to hire this wonderful team! From coordinating vendors, weekly planning and design meetings, to helping everything run smoothly on the day of- they really gave me a huge peace of mind after having to postpone our original wedding due to pandemic. I received so many compliments from guests and the bridal party about what a wonderful job they did - from helping my maid of honor with an emergency wardrobe malfunction to making sure the day ran even better than I could have imagined. Deliece, Melissa, and Lady were a really wonderful team to work with- would hire them again for any event planning in a heart beat.
I can’t thank Dhalia Events enough for making my daughter’s wedding so fantastic. Deliece and her team were so helpful in so many ways--in ways that I never could have imagined. ...
Once they entered the picture, they took charge and I never had to worry about anything. Lady Sanchez was incredibly helpful the day of the wedding. She was on top of everything every minute and made sure that everything proceeded smoothly and on schedule. I am so happy to have discovered Dhalia Events!

d dreamed of and knew the details and the planning were what could make it so. Thus, wedding planners were not just paramount in this task but crucial—especially planners who were able to not only understand my partner and I as a couple but also individually and that’s where Dhalia Events came in. There was no way for me as a medical resident working 80 hours a week to plan our entire wedding alone, along with the fact that my fiancé at the time who lived in Maryland, 4 hours from where I live and work. We live in two different states and the wedding would be in a 3rd state. There are a lot of moving parts that two working professionals just don’t have the time or bandwidth to handle in what we expected to be a 400+ guest South Indian wedding in the US. Deliece and Melisa had as much a fingerprint on our wedding as my partner and I did. I’ll admit I can be a very particular bride, my time is limited, and I need answers in the small windows I have in between work to plan our wedding. Dhalia really answered the call of duty. They provided us an overall timeline to work toward for our big day, all on our very own wedding portal that was meticulously organized and maintained. They provided us major input and suggestions on all the venders we were considering. They were the single point of contact for all our vendors and regularly reminded us of upcoming appointments, whether it was tuxedo rentals, choosing centerpieces, finding and choosing printers for the programs and invitations, scheduling trial runs for makeup and hair, reminding us to make scheduled payments, and following up on the millions of other details. We have been pretty much talking about our wedding non-stop for the past two weeks and so have our parents, siblings, and numerous others family members and friends. There were small glitches on our wedding (as is everyone’s I’m sure) but honestly, Deliece and Melissa smoothed it out and no one even knew! We HIGHLY recommend Dhalia Events for your wedding or any other special occasion! We definitely will look to them for any future event we need.
