So, whether you’re on the property for one day or a full weekend, our ranch will continue to impress beyond your expectations. Diamond A Ranch Events is situated a one-hour drive southwest from the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. This is an event venue and a working cattle ranch, a piece of authentic Texas rural life with a history dating back over two centuries. Set in a 2,000-acre expanse in the Hood County hillside, these buildings stand over majestic views of the surrounding landscape. A major renovation in 2019 opened this as a setting for weddings, starting at the end of that year. Live oak trees dating back to the 1700s offer that special ‘something old’ for your nuptials as well as glorious photo opportunities. From this location, you can explore the countryside of Texas, with walking trails, fishing, cycling, and more upon request to the venue staff. There are four ceremony locations on the premises of Diamond A Ranch Events, ready for the romance of your vows. The Homestead House offers 6,000 square feet of space and accommodation for up to 18 people, ideal for both hosting and for overnight stays. Up to 250 guests can share in your wedding celebrations, with ample space for both indoor and outdoor festivities. The venue staff is happy to assist you with preferred vendor referrals as well as the setup and cleanup of your rental tables, chairs, and linens. From September 2020, the Reception Hall welcomes additional guests to this country locale. Wedding parties can expect a cathedral-style window backdrop, a 1,500-square-foot patio, climate-controlled ambience, indoor and outdoor bars, and a commercial kitchen.
