Picking out my wedding dress was so much fun. As a plus-size bride who does not typically like shopping, I was hopeful to find my wedding dress in only our second store, but still had plenty of doubts. With Jasmine as my consultant, I had nothing to fear. Jasmine was fantastic! Her service was wonderful and she was able to find my perfect dress within a few dresses. She made me feel absolutely beautiful! After purchasing the dress, Rebecca, in the alterations department was also amazing. Not only am I plus-size, but I am also short. Rebecca ensured the dress was altered to fit me perfectly. She also added thicker lace straps to form the neckline I was hoping for! She did so well, it looked like it was part of the original dress. Choosing my wedding dress was a 5 star experience. Getting it altered was subpar. The first time I went in at my appointment time and they spent 30mins looking for my dress. Then she made both shoulder straps the same without measuring me. Told me she would add the bustle but never did. I had to go in 3 separate times for them to get everything right. I ultimately took my dress to another alteration specialist to have everything redone

Jessica was absolutely amazing and listened to exactly what I wanted! I’m having a destination wedding and she pulled the perfect dress for me! She was very attentive and kind! Highly recommend going to see her!

Jonathan was outstanding! He was accommodating when I missed my original appointment due to the traffic I encountered driving all the way from Ohio. He helped me feel confident and shared tips and tricks for my dress and bridal party. Absolutely love my dress even though it is nothing like I expected! He could enhance my features and made me feel like a princess! Love love love my experience and dress!!

I found my dream dress at this salon! The owner is a little pushy but the sales team is very kind and helpful! I appreciated the time my bridal consultant took letting me look at all the gowns and chose others before putting on the one I came there for! Thank you so much!

I went here September 2020 to find my dream dress. I found it! I went in with my mind set on a certain design but Kim my consultant had her own ideas.. which ended up being the dress I chose! It was absolutely gorgeous and I cannot wait to wear it! They told me it could be around 6 months before the dress arrives, but Kim has already called and said it would arrive in December. Kim was super helpful in getting me in and out of all the dresses and helping me decide! She did not pressure me at all to pick a certain one! I’m so excited for my wedding and my Dimitra Designs dress!

So displeased with the service! My consultant wouldn’t listen to anything I said I wanted in a dress until I mentioned that I had been a bridal consultant myself. She kept pulling everything I didn’t want in a dress and was very pushy

I had a great experience with Kim when ordering my dress. I already knew what dress I wanted so it was an easy process. She's very sweet , friendly, and made me feel comfortable making such a big decision. I was not called when my dress arrived which was the only issue I had during the entire process which is minor. Any time I called or came in for anything the entire staff was incredibly nice and always gave me their full attention. I had a good bit of alterations done to my dress and Dimitra did an amazing job. When my dress first arrived after ordering I hated the fit. I wanted a very form fitting dress and my curves were lost in the dress. I'm very picky but also indecisive and was nervous making such big changes to my dress. All the ladies in alterations were very patient, listened to all my concerns, and seemed to really know what they are doing. On my wedding day my dress fit AMAZING and was exactly what I wanted. I had so many compliments on my dress and how my body looked in the dress! I would defiantly recommend to anyone needing a dress and/or altering for an event.

I'll admit I never thought I'd get my wedding dress here when they told me they don't let their customers walk around and look at the dresses. However, they proved me wrong. Once I told them what I was looking for, they found the perfect dress along with a beautiful veil. I received so many compliments on my wedding day, and I absolutely loved it!!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Dimitra's. I worked with Jasmine and found the Dress of my dreams. She spent nearly 3 hours with me, trying on all different dress types, let me FaceTime my mom to confirm my choice and even did an up-do so I could see how that hairstyle would work with my dress. I am so thankful for Jasmine and her kindness and patience. She was incredibly fun to work with, exceptionally professional and made me feel really comfortable!

5 stars for Jasmine who sold me the dress of my DREAMS! 3 stars for alterations. My experience getting my dress was amazing. Jasmine knew exactly my vision and we found my perfect dress on the 3rd one! It was amazing. I have told others to go to her for finding their dress and they have also bought from Dimitras for their wedding gown with the help of Jasmine!! She truly knows what fits best for you! We decided to get our alterations done there for convenience, and there were a few issues that happened. The first try my dress got taken in too much, and they ended up fixing this issue as I was continuing to lose weight so it should not have been too tight. The employees there are very nice, but the main issue I had that I did not find out until my reception is they did the bustle incorrectly....this caused me to wear my dress without the bustle the entire reception. A lot of people ended up stepping on my dress and it just caused me being uncomfortable while dancing the entire night. It did not hinder from my dress looking absolutely beautiful but hindsight I would have had my dress altered elsewhere.

DON'T BOTHER! All the employees lie just to make the sales.

6/10/2018 Literally the worst bridal experience and service I could have ever imagiened. I went a few months ago when I first got engaged to start looking at dresses, my experience was decent the first time fairly helpful and kind, ect. Well I made a second appointment a few months later specifically to try on a dress I found online and fell in love with and to hopefully try on some other similar styles because the style and fit of dress I wanted had changed from my first inital visit to the store. The lady that helped me was the same from the first visit and she did pull that dress and one other one but that was it. She was so uninterested in helping me this time with the dress or to pull any similar styles. There was no help getting in and out of the dress, my sister literally had to do it all for me from putting the dresses back on the hangers to doing the buttons, or clamping the dress tighter to see the fit better. Our assistance would come back maybe every ten minutes or so not because the store was busy or because she was helping another bride or coworker, but because she was sitting down at another area of the store talking to someone that obviously a male friend or family member. I would never ever buy a dress from here. I do not think it is weird or unreasonable to have wanted a second appointment or that my mind changed on what type of dress I wanted so essentially needed other dresses pulled than from the first visit because a wedding dress is an important and big purchase so if they are unwilling to help if a decision cannot be made on the first visit then they are in the wrong business. I am at the age where literally all my friends are getting married and planning weddings and I will not let any of them make the mistake to come this store there are so many more friendly shops in the upstate that let you take your time, take pictures, and actually help you with the dresses so your family can enjoy the experience and not be the ones to do it all. Also FYI if you happen to need a third appointment they charge you $100 so my suggestion is to never make the first appointment and go somewhere that is worth your business.

To start out, 5 stars for the dress and 1 star for alterations. My dress was amazing and Patricia the sales associate helping me was excellent! I loved it and got many many compliments on it. It was reasonably priced as well. When I got to the alterations department, I ran into trouble. First they did not see in the bra that I bought for the dress and I had to come back. It looked good when I tried it on in the store and i took it home and stored it in a closet until the big Day. I didn't mind, by what happened on the wedding day was much worse. I stepped into my dress and when my mom went to zip it up in front of the photographer the back of the bra ripped completely out of the dress. My bridesmaids frantically tried to pin it and sew it back into place in the 15 minutes before we had to leave for the church, but nothing would work. I had to leave it undone in the back during the ceremony, but it kept falling and I was forced to wear it with the bra showing. The hem was just fine, but be cautious if you're having a bra sewn in!

We canceled a dress order that had yet to be ordered. Had written confirmation. Was told we could use store credit for the canceled bridesmaid order for a new flower girl order. 3-20-2018 I was told by the store employee to get photo ID's and had written notes from the bridesmaids we issued cash refunds to. Since we canceled the order we didn't want the bridesmaids on the hook for the a store credit they couldn't use. We gave them cash and had them issue the store credit to us. When I tried to use store credit I was told I didn't have a store credit. I left to buy dresses elsewhere while questioning the legality of their actions. I get a call as I check out at the other location. They have now decided to re-issue the previously revoked store credit. I am sure it had something to do with them realizing they had the written confirmation for the canceled order and had no grounds to do what they did. I told them I no longer felt safe with a store credit since they had just revoked said credit. I would feel comfortable with cash considering cash can not be revoked. They refused. 3-23-2018 Returned to the store in hopes they had realized the customer service issue they created (revoking a store credit that was mine and had all documentation to use for flower girl dresses). They told me I could process the CANCELED order or take the re-issued store credit. They assured me they were unwilling to refund cash...I explained the trust issue considering they didn't honor the first store credit, and I feared they would not honor another store credit. So as of 3-24-2018 they have stayed firm in their actions and refuse to correct the customer service issue of issuing, revoking and re-issuing a store credit. I have little faith...but will update if they correct the situation. It's sad that this is what we have to deal with during this time.

Customer service left a lot to be desired. We were told they could order the dresses we wanted in slate, after contract was signed we were emailed the dresses were not available in slate. We were able to find beautiful dresses from another boutique that had dresses to us within a couple of weeks. We called and told them to cancel the slate dresses and to drop one of the ladies from the wine color list. The message never got to where it was meant to go, so when the 3 girls in wine ordered there order was never placed because it wasn't noted that the slate had been canceled. We didn't find this out until we called to see if we could pay for a rush on the 3 dresses that were paid for and should have been ordered. I was willing to take a hit and do what was right by the girls and give then cash from my pocket and take the store credit for flower girl dresses. While trying to deal order, the lady helping me that the owner decide to push the original order. I was irritated as the customer service and left to find flower girls dresses at another location since they told me there was no store credit because they pushed the order (after we had canceled the order). As I leave I call and question the legality of their actions. While I was paying for the flower girl dresses at a different location I get a call from the lady I was dealing with. It seems when I questioned the legality of their actions they realized they had messed up, she then informed me that they would NOW give me the store credit. I informed them that i had just bought the dresses because they told me I wouldn't have the credit and I wasn't spending money there after how they just treated me while I was in there willing to work with them just 30 mins before. Since that has happened I told them that I was unwilling to return to a store credit because of the insanely bad customer service and asked for a refund. They are telling me they will not refund my money because of the contract. My issue is no longer with the dresses or lack of communication. My issue now is how the owner and her in between person deal with customers that are in their store trying to work things out in a proper manner. The way they can force people to other stores because they tell them they have pushed a canceled order through so one is left to believe they no longer have a store credit and leave to shop elsewhere only to backtrack when questioned on the legality of their issue. I warn any bride...this is not what you want to be dealing with. The treatment I got yesterday is what they think of the customers. Sadly we also had to buy our gown from a different location because the dress my daughter wanted was discontinued and couldn't be ordered, they offered $100.00 off the floor model that had a few little tears that needed to be repaired, it was a few sizes large so lot of alterations, and it was very dirty from all the trying on. We told them we would pass and found the gown she loves more at a different locations. Sadly our experience and treatment from this business is not what I would want for anyone.

Dimitra's Designs offer a great selection of gowns and are easy to work with. I had an incident where I had picked out my dress and was making payments towards it (but had not yet ordered it) when I realized that a family friend, who would be attending my wedding, had gotten married in the same dress just a few months earlier. I was devastated...I didn't want to wear someone else's dress, especially when they were coming to my wedding. I went to Dimitra's to see if there was anything I could do. Since my dress hadn't been ordered yet, they were very accommodating and let me pick out a different dress, as long as it was of equal or greater value. My new dress was absolutely perfect for ME. I also got my alterations done at Dimitras. The staff was kind and very helpful. I didn't have any major alterations done on my dress, besides taking up the hem a bit and taking it in at the waist to provide a better fit. So while I can't speak to the alterations department for making large changes and adjustments, if all you need is the basics then they are a good option.

I got the most compliments on my dress! It was gorgeous, unique and so reasonable. Plus there alterations team does great work and is so kind!

Warning... if you need a tuxedo for a wedding and a business that stands behind the rental (which is expensive), DO NOT GO TO DIMITRA DESIGNS in Greenville, SC!!! For my daughter's wedding, after purchasing her wedding dress there (it came in way too big & cost an additional $350 in alterations and required at least 2 inches taken in on the sides) and we purchased all bridesmaid dresses here (also, extensive alterations required that for 2 of them cost alnost as much as the dress itself), we also used them for tuxedo rental....big mistake! Not sure why they even bother to measure. My husband tried on several jackets, told the lady the size to order. She disagreed and ordered a size down unknown to us until pickup 2 days before the wedding... it didn't fit, surprise! They had to reorder and on rehearsal day with the wedding out of town my husband had to travel back to Greenville to pick up the jacket. BUT THIS ISN'T THE WORST OF IT. The sweet ring bearer had to come in to be measured 3 times, what?! And did his tux fit, nope! Same as my husband, didn't know until 2 days prior. Nothing fit! Jacket & pants too small, shirt way too big ... had to roll sleeves several times & shoes were too small (they were told at the first measurement he needed a wide shoe & 2 days prior to the wedding after requiring full payment they said the shoes don't come in wide, their solution was to order a new pair a size larger for this child to walk down the aisle & up strairs in. Day of the rehersal his new tux & shoes came in, did they fit ..... NOPE! We refused the tuxedo & asked for a refund. The manager informed us that the owner is semi-retired and isn't on-site, after She called the owner and explained the issues with her she refused to give a refund. Not a single piece of the tuxedo fit after 4 visits and had cost $176 to rent. She would not give anything back, not a cent. Their explanation was that he was "hard to fit"! Wait, what ... isn't that their job, to fit? He wears a husky, so they could not fit him, but they didn't disclose this prior to requiring payment for services they could not provide. The strange thing is JC Penney had pants, a shirt and shoes that actually fit him and did not require multiple measurements, alterations nor excuses ... oh and it cost a lot less. But now my sweet friend is out the $176 plus the cost of the outfit he actually could wear. I ask, was my size 2 daughter "hard to fit" as well, or as my husband suspects is this just a way to get you to sirens more iv their alterations dept. What about the average sized bridesmaids, were they "hard to fit"? And my husband who is also of average sizing and told them what size to order, was he "hard to fit "? I can not in good conscience recommend a business whose arrogance and lack of ethics prevent them from doing the right thing. I accepted every issue in stride, kept quiet and paid additional $$ too make everything fit until the ring bearer.... that was unacceptable. I asked the manager if $176 meant that much to owner, answer is obvious. BEWARE, DO NOT COUNT ON THIS BUSINESS FOR SOMETHING AS IMPORTANT AS YOUR WEDDING! IF YOU HAVE ISSUES, THE OWNER'S STANCE IS OBVIOUS...TOUGH, YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN.

The lady that worked with us brought me dresses that didn't even match what I wanted. Not even close. She brought dresses either 3 sizes too big or 5 sizes too small. Very intimidating and very pushy . Not to mention, very pricey

I worked directly with Jessica and can not recommend her enough. Once I first met her, I told her my vision for the wedding (simple, classic and elegant) and she found the perfect gown for me!!! Their alterations department was super friendly and flexible. I also ordered my bridesmaid dresses and was impressed by their thoroughness. My only complaint was the dresses took almost the full time to be delivered (not an issue since we ordered early but something to consider if you're on a time constraint!)

My experience with Dmitra’s was mixed…the part that was amazing was my dress consultant. I had Jasmine as my consultant (she and her sister Jessica, who is also a consultant, are so friendly and sweet!), and she had a lot of patience and expertise. She brought me 4 dresses that all were in line with I wanted and they all looked beautiful and made me feel amazing! I had trouble picking just one because they all looked so perfect, but eventually made a decision on one of them. Jasmine definitely was enthusiastic about my wedding and seemed genuinely interested in all the details, even fixing my hair before putting a veil on me so that I could get an idea of how I would look on the day of my wedding in the dress that I had selected. Not all of my experience at Dimitra’s, however, was good. The day of my bridal appointment, I was waiting for about 20-30 minutes after checking in and my MOH had to ask what was going on in order for me to be seen. When my ordered dress came in, I tried it on and it looked way too big on me! The girl behind the alterations counter initially showed no concern and actually was borderline rude, but she eventually told me to make an appointment for a dress fitting. When I did, I was so disappointed in the alterations department. The alterations lady did not seem to understand what I was talking about (it did not help that she literally spoke a different language and used the girl who had been initially rude as an interpreter) and did not seem like she could make the dress look like it did on my initial dress appointment. I left the appointment in tears, but thankfully found another person who does alterations at about a third of the cost (obviously we did NOT use Dimitra’s alterations after that appointment). I guess my overall impression of Dimitra’s is that obviously some of their consultants are very good at what they do and can help you find the perfect dress; however, their alterations department and customer service in general are greatly lacking and can ruin what would otherwise be an amazing experience. My advice would be to look up the highly recommended consultants on wedding websites if you are going to go to Dimitra’s, and then get your dress altered somewhere else!

I went in with low expectations jasmine was way above my expectations I showed her the dresses I saved she came back with the perfect dress I was shocked but said yes to the dress I'm so excited no pressure just professional and friendly atmosphere

Wow, what a complete disappointment I don’t even know where to begin. It took me a few days to decide if I should post this but I wanted people to be aware if you aren’t buying a bridal dress or prom dress you need to avoid at all costs. I scheduled two appointments for the same day on a Saturday since my bridal party lives in 2 different states - one for my mother and one for my bridesmaids. We arrived early and had to wait 30 minutes since they were full in their back room, but once we were taken back the young lady that "helped" us lost complete interest. We had absolutely no help, I asked questions got ignored, of those she answered she answered wrong. This lady was far more concerned with gossiping then helping us. As we thumbed through the dresses it seemed obvious we would have to grab all the dresses we wanted to try on and go into the fitting room ourselves. We did this and ironically enough an influx of people from the prom dress section came into the same space and completely took over the dressing rooms - they even took the clips that we had asked for, for my mother to use since every size you can try on is size 12+...I might not have thought they treated people differently had I not seen another appointment right in front of us being taken care of with all the gestures we expected. Their person grabbed dresses, their person clipped all of their bridesmaids – they were a party of 8 and their 1 attendant was very nice to them and incredibly helpful. Ours literally never once came over to us. At the end of the day apparently buying a mother of bride dress was too menial for her but for us it was an experience and totally ruined by the poor service provided here. I went to four other stores and received 110% better service than this place and I am so excited that we bought not only my bridesmaids dresses but my mother’s dress as well at another store. As I was leaving I did attempt to let the management team know what terrible service they were providing and although I assume she meant the best, her fix for my problem was asking if I could make another appointment during the week (my bridal party lives in SC & NC) or come back for my second appointment that day and they would have a bridal consultant help us. I opted to not return. The lack of interest they showed my entire family was so ridiculous that regardless of the dresses available they wouldn't be getting any of mine or my families money. If you don’t have a large bridal party or a huge budget for your wedding dress – ABORT.

Jasmine is amazing, have her be your consultant! Had an amazing experience. I was listened to and treated like a queen! She heard all the things I like and listened so well that she remembered a dress she thought I would like, and it was the one! Only tried on 3 dresses and that was it. Also they listen to your price range and stick with it! Would recommend to all 😊

We had an appointment for 1:00. We arrived early and were kept waiting for over 35 minutes past our appointment time. We were not allowed to browse the racks for the types of designs/designers that we would like to try even with the "consultant". The quality of dress that we were shown was not what we expected of a bridal gown. Obnoxious signs are posted stating that anyone caught taking pictures would be asked to leave. While we were there we saw multiple people blatantly taking photos where this rule was not applied. I would never recommend this salon to a bride, am sorry that my time was wasted, and have no intention of returning.

I had a great experience at Dimitra! Was only the second place I'd gone to to look for my wedding dress and am SO glad my maid of honor got us an appointment here. We had Jessica W., who was so easy to work with, really personable and nice, and I wasn't afraid to tell her what I liked and didn't like. I told her what I was looking for and she brought out multiple options that I really liked, including my dream dress! Planning to go back for my bridesmaids dresses and my fiancé will go there to look at suits as well! Definitely recommend!

This place is awful. I called last week about picking up my dress and they couldn't find it. I called the next day and said it was just in the back. Well when I went to pick it up, it was darker, tan and not rosy blush. I kept saying it over and over and they kept saying it's because it's been a year. They convinced my mother and I to take it. We compared it to the picture we took and yep. They switched my dress. THESE ARE AWFUL PEOPLE HERE! Do not go here. I am in the process of contacting the better business bureau because they said I signed an "as is." Yes I signed as is but not bait and switch. Also the dress I tried on was a 14 and we were cutting it to an 8, now I have to cut an 18 to an 8 or buy a new dress. Seeing that everyone says it looks dirty, I'm forced to purchase another dress...thanks a lot! DO NOT GO HERE

I had a very good experience finding my wedding dress and my consultant Jessica Williams was the reason for it, with the help of David :). Jessica was very nice and pleasant to work work with, she was patient and really listened to what I was looking for. I do feel like prices are high at dimitras and I don't like that they take the designer name out of the dresses but other than that I had a great experience. I also made a second appointment to show my family the dress and it went great.

I had a wonderful experience at Dimitras! Jasmine was very nice and knowledgeable. I actually went with the first dress she picked, but she also allowed me to try on a variety of styles.

Dimitras is our local formal dress store, I have shopped here for prom and recently for a bridal gown. I honestly have nothing good to say about my experience. The staff is rude, condescending, and act like your opinion doesn't matter. They have hundreds of dresses but will not allow you to browse at all during your appointment. They also will not let you try on outside of your size range, although they can order dresses in any size. Overall, the few dresses that I did try own (that were nothing like what I had described) were cheaply made and tacky. I recommend going to The White Magnolia if you are looking for quality and a positive environment!

First of all, I will say that the store is beautiful and they have a huge selection of gowns. Second, Jasmine was fabulous! She found me my dress and spent hours with us to make sure everything was what I wanted. Now for the negative. They waited almost and entire month to order my dress, even though I paid in full for my $1200.00 dress the day I purchased it as opposed to putting down a deposit. So my dress barely got to me about 6 weeks before my wedding. Then, they ordered me a dress that according to my seamstress (not a Dimitria seamstress) was roughly four sizes too big, which meant my alterations were another $500.00. In the end the dress turned out beautiful, but it was none of this salon's doing! I would seriously consider other stores before buying from this establishment. Their service is fantastic when you are shopping, but once they have your money they really don't care about the customer.

Plenty of Choices! We shopped at Dimitra Designs for my bridesmaid's dresses for my October 2016 wedding. The best part of the store is that they have lots of dresses in the store to give you a good idea of exactly what you're buying. They had the dress ended up choosing for my girls in a different color than I wanted, but had another dress from the same line in that color, which was very nice to see in person. Their staff is very good, they're always busy, but for the most part, they do a very good job of making sure you are well taken care of as a customer. They're a little hard to reach over the phone or via email because their phones are almost busy and they don't respond very quickly to emails, but in the end, my dresses came 6 weeks early, so at least they get the job done. I would recommend shopping there because you'll definitely have a great selection to look through - on my first trip to the store 4 of my girls had purchased the exact dress I had imagined my bridesmaids in.

This was a terrible experience. The consultant couldn't have seem more bored or disinterested. This store was my 2nd appointment of the day, so I already had a pretty good idea of what I did and didn't want. She barely listened to me, stuck me in a room with a few dresses she picked out, no instructions/descriptions/feedback, etc. I would never go here again.

I adore this store. Jasmine helped me find my dress. She completely understood what I was looking for and my dress was the first one she pulled. She made the process so much fun and was willing to do anything I wanted (like letting me go to three other stores to try on dresses and eventually come back that night to buy the original dress I tried on after they had already closed). Even Sweetie and Lonnie in alterations treated us like family and altered my dress for me the week before my wedding as I had lost weight. I highly recommend checking out this store if you are looking for your dream wedding dress. I loved mine and it was beyond perfect for me.

I would rather put my hand in a meat grinder than to walk into this establishment, again. Truthfully, you would benefit more if you were to set your money on fire than to spend any of it at Dimitra's Design. With that said... I had a wedding dress appointment with Grace Gibson, who has the personality of a rock... you would assume that it would be a prerequisite to have a lively personality to sell wedding dresses, but clearly it is not at Demitra's Design. Stupidly, I ended up agreeing to a wedding gown, and immediately suffered from buyers remorse. I went back the next day, within 24 hours, and THEY broke their own contract bc it states no exchanges, no refunds, no exceptions. BUT. They took the wedding gown back and gave me store credit. Which was not exactly what I was hoping for, but Grace "helped" me special order two Sherri Hill dresses that I could use for my bachelorette weekend. I left Dimita Design's much, much, much happier than the time before. Once I got back to Kentucky I went to a wedding dress boutique and confidently committed to a dress that I absolutely {{L O V E}} not to mention the girl that helped me at this boutique made the experience SO MUCH FUN, unlike Grace. Anyway, after being back to Kentucky for a week or longer, I received an email from Grace saying both the Sherri Hill dresses are unavailable and that it would be best to buy something from the store floor. That is a complete inconvenience for me. It isn't like I can hop in my car and go there to shop anytime I want until I find something - it's a 7 hour drive. I browsed online at other designers that Dimitra's Design carries for dresses that I could use for my bachelorette weekend, since the Sherri Hill dresses were unavailable. I found two Jovani dresses and I sent Grace an email with the style numbers asking if they were available to special order. She replied with they were not available, and that she would no longer special order for me bc it was too time and too much effort and they were going to ship me the original merchandise back to me. It's funny that isn't too much time or too much effort to ship me the original merchandise, but it is too much time and too much effort to simply look up style numbers. Keep in mind I have the new contract which indicates them returning the original merchandise and making a special order. The truth of the matter is, I fully understood that I was an inconvenience to Grace and Dimitra's Design bc they already had my money. Yeah, as you can see, their customer service is top notch... MORAL OF THE STORY: I thought I could trust Dimitra's Design when I was told that I have credit and could special order with that credit and bc I trusted them and the NEW contract that I was given I bought another wedding dress in Kentucky. Which I would NOT have bought another wedding dress if I would have known that Grace and Dimitra were liers and could not be trusted. My only hope from making this review is to stop as many people as possible to NOT shop there chances are, you will regret it

Jasmine was wonderful. I saw a lot of positive reviews about her and called and scheduled an appointment. When I went she was so friendly and took time to listen and said we would try on every style until I found one that felt right! I ended up picking the 3rd one! Wasn't at all what I thought I'd love but she knew me better than I knew myself. Ended up picking the earrings, veil and belt she matched with it as well! We had a lot of privacy as well and very affordable prices! Highly recommend. ❤️

When I called Dimitra Designs, whoever answered the phone was so rude that I chose NOT to buy my $2,000 dollar wedding dress from them. They would not answer any questions that I had regarding the dress that I wanted, and I figured if this is how they treat brides on the phone, I cringe to think about how they treat brides in person. Not worth the aggravation, I will gladly give someone else my money.

My dress was beautiful! The employees went above and beyond to help me find the perfect dress for my special day.

I went to Dimitra Designs to work with Jessica as a recommendation from a friend. I LOVED IT! I had picked out several dresses on Pinterest and brought the images with me. Dimitra had most of the dresses in store to try on, and Jessica wasn't afraid to make recommendations based on my body type. She was fun, personable, and clearly passionate and talented at her work. I found my dress on DAY 1, and couldn't have been more happy with the quality of the store, as well as their incredible inventory and wide price range. The bridesmaids department wasn't quite as friendly, however, they have a great selection and made it simple for my out-of-state bridesmaids to place and order (and also gave them a discount since I bought my wedding gown there). Go to Dimitra, ask for Jessica, and find your dream dress too!

I needed to find a wedding dress and made an appointment for a Sunday at 2pm. I received a confirmation email a couple days later. Since I was flying in from Florida I even called them the Friday before my appointment just to reconfirm we were still on. The sales associate confirmed again my appointment. On Sunday my mother and I sat outside this store from 2pm til 3pm. No one showed. I called several times and left several messages. I still have not received a call back from anyone working for Dimitra Designs, not even the manager who I had also left a voicemail. I would not suggest even my worst enemy to shop here.

I had a truly wonderful experience at Dimitra Designs, as soon as I walked in I was greeted and assigned to a consultant. Jessica was my consultant and she was FABULOUS. I told her what style of dress I was looking for and she began pulling gowns. The dresses she pulled were all so beautiful, but I couldn't find the one among those pulled. Even though my allotted 1 hour for the appointment was up, Jessica took the time to continue pulling dresses. She ended up pulling the perfect dress for me! She also took the time to tie my hair up in an updo and provided jewelry, veils for me to coordinate with the dress. The overall visit, experience was a success and I would highly recommend them to others!

THIS IS THE WORST STORE EVER! DO NOT SHOP HERE! I gave them 3 chances and they failed every time and they DO NOT CARE. If you want a great BRIDAL EXPERIENCE, DO NOT GO HERE!!! I was waiting for a call back regarding a paticular style of dress and ties for the groomsmen. Luckily, I started planning early and there are other great store options. Weeks went by and when I did get a call back, the person that called me told me she found my number behind the register while she was cleaning. She asked if she could still help. I said yes, and explained to her what I initially needed. She told me she would have to call me back... go figure. I never received a call back. I visited the store with my mother who had traveled out of town because of a sale they were having, and the staff is RUDE and not very knowledgeable. There is one lady that was nice, and unfortunately I do not remember her name, but she works in bridesmaids and mother of the bride dresses in the very back. She is very tall and african american. I figured I could visit the store and it be a one stop shop... BOY WAS I WRONG! STAY AWAY.. By the way, my future mother-in-law left her glasses there by accident tonight in the dressing room and called the store right before closing time, and she was hung up on several times by the OWNER. I understand now why customer service is not very important!

Lisa was amazing and helped me pick out the most beautiful bridesmaids dresses. The alterations department did an excellent job on my dress, which needed a lot of work.

Jasmine and Jessica are two sisters that work there and they are wonderful. They were extremely helpful and they were the reason we purchased my wedding gown from here. If it was not for them, we would have gone elsewhere. The manager there was quite unprofessional and some of the other staff didn't put the customers first. Thanks Jasmine and Jessica!!

Our wedding day could have never been as perfect as it was without Dimitra Designs! From my first visit there to look at wedding dresses--until the day I picked up my beautiful gown, the staff was so accommodating! My bridal consultant, Jessica was absolutely amazing and knew exactly how to show me dresses I would love that also made me look beautiful. I found my dream dress the first day I was there and knew I had made the right decision. After picking up my dress I realized I wanted it to be a little different, so with the help of the alterations department, my dream dress was made by adding lace and making a custom dress. I have received more compliments on my dress than anything else at the wedding! We also bought 9 suits from Dimitra Designs which turned into a little more work than we had planned, but with the help of the staff we were able to get the exact suits I wanted and even have one custom made to fit a groomsman! The vision of my wedding day could have never became a reality without Dimitra Designs! I am so thankful I found them!

I started off my wedding gown search at David's Bridal. Their dresses were in my budget (which was $500) but I was disappointed in the options they had to offer. So i continued my search and ended at Dimitra Designs. I had never been there but I knew it was a popular place for Greenville girls to get their prom dresses. I had an appointment for Saturday afternoon and ended up there Black Friday afternoon instead. It was not a problem and they moved up my appointment to right then and there. The store was almost empty since most people do their black friday shopping elsewhere. It was awesome to be able to look through the racks ourselves and without having to compete with any other brides. I ended up finding my perfect wedding dress there and it was 50% off because of the weekend sample sale. It was a beautiful satin sweetheart that was really well made and was impressive quality for $300. This dress looked like it was close to $1000 at least. And the best part was my dress had detailing in a gorgeous cranberry color around the waist. The dress was the most unique dress I've ever seen. My consult was really cool and down to earth. She had previously worked at David's Bridal and told me that they make their dresses with our the linings so their customers are forced to buy their undergarments. My David's consultant told me that all wedding dresses were like that, but when I went to Dimitra's, I found out that was not true. My wedding dress had 5 layers to it and needed no undergarments. I was really happy and the Bridal Department at Dimitra's was really nice and helpful. They made me feel like a bride and that was really important to me. I only get to do this once! But that's where my good opinion of them ends. I came back a few months later to look at Bridesmaids dresses and their Bridesmaids department is awful. I went on 3 different occasions and was ignored for a lengthy period of time all three days. I ended up buying one of their dresses for my husband's military dinner and sincerely wish I hadn't. The dress was already $170 and when I got it altered there I paid an extra $70 for the straight simple hem at the bottom and to shorten one strap. They gave me a date of when the dress would be ready and I left. They called me 4 days later and left a message that my dress was ready to pick up. I went back in that weekend (which was 5 days earlier then they originally told me) to pick it up but they couldn't find my dress. I had 3 different service people looking for it and had to explain myself every time. Finally after 20 mins they found it in the sewing room and they hadn't even started on it yet. They were very terse and told me I was supposed to come in 5 days later to pick it up. They weren't apologetic at all for miscalling me or wasting my time for almost 30 mins. (An hour and 30 if you include the drive time.) I was extremely disappointed in their customer service and I've talked to several other people who have had similar experiences. They have beautiful gowns, and their sales are great, but on a regular day, doing business with them is NOT worth your stress, time, or money as a bride.

As soon as I walked in, I spoke with a bridal consultant about what kind of wedding gown I was looking for. She knew exactly the dress I would love. She brought it to me and that was the one I bought. I have a wonderful experience there! Even ordering bridesmaid dresses there was easy as it could be!

Great place to go if you can't find exactly what you want and need to make some modifications to a dress. They have a great alterations department and are flexible and willing to customize your dress to make it perfect for you. The consultants are extremely nice and helpful. I did wish they had a larger dress selection in the store to try on.

I bought my dress at a sample sale at Dimitra, and couldn't have found a better dress. It was truly made for me. The quality and the way it fit was amazing, and I loved it even more after seeing how great it looked on the day of! Their alterations dept is top notch - on service, quality, and value for the work they perform. So happy I went with Dimitra!

I went to Dimitra's several times to try on wedding dresses. I worked with Jasmine, and she's AWESOME. She's so sweet. I really felt like she got to know me through the whole process, and I got a hug from her every single visit...even if I wasn't there to see her. I also got bridesmaid dresses and tuxes from Dimitra's. Zane in the tux department is really wonderful and knowledgeable. My only problem was with the bridesmaid department. The range of personalities in that part of the shop really varied. I feel like I saw a different person each time I went in there. Some were nice, and one in particular made a rude comment towards one of my bridesmaids. Good value on the bridesmaid dresses (got a discount because I bought my dress there).

I had only wonderful things to say about Dimitra's until recently. I had the best experience with finding my dress (Thanks Jessica!!), headpiece, alterations, and bridesmaids dresses. I also received a complimentary facial and the esthetician was wonderful! Unfortunately, the associate who took down orders for the guys formal wear was torn between two customers. She was working with a bridesmaid group as well as trying to determine what I was looking for. Multiple times I explained I was fine waiting, however she insisted. We ended up with some missing pieces, however we were able to pick up extras at the store. Unfortunately, I was not there when they were picked up and no one thought to look before taking them out of the store. After my honeymoon, I called to let them know what happened just to make sure that no one else received that kind of service, however they immediately began blaming me for not checking! After I explained I was not looking for anything free and I only wanted an apology and to make sure they were aware of what happened, they were much nicer. I would still shop there, and recommend their shop to anyone, I was just very upset after all the money and time I had spent there, I was treated like that. Hopefully it was just a one time thing! All the dresses/formal wear were gorgeous!
