About this vendor
Disc Jockeys Now is out of Business.
Sadly, tragically, after many years of helping clients save a lot of money on their DJ or videographer by holding down prices, due to a serious medical situation and other circumstances beyond our control, Disc Jockeys Now has had to cease all operations effective immediately. This announcement is an attempt to give as much notice as possible for any clients to make other arrangements. In addition an email has been sent to all clients as well.
Client access to all online planning forms expires March 1, 2023 when Disc Jockeys Now’s subscription to that service runs out. So until then, for any future events, clients can use those planning tools (There is no deadline except March 1, 2023 and the password is still the 6 first digits of the client phone number including area code) but rather than submit any forms, clients can copy and paste them to a Word doc etc for their use. Here is the link that is available for log in until 3/1/23:

Disc Jockeys Now is deeply sorry for what has happened. Deeply sorry that after so many years of helping wonderful clients and working with great DJ’s and videographers, this sudden tragic end will bring disappointment for anyone effected by this. It is simply medically and thus financially impossible to carry on the business. As soon as this occurred all sales and operations ceased immediately. Again it was very sudden, and it cannot be expressed enough the regrets for what has happened.
A sincere Best Wishes to all.

I would give it a zero if I could. There was no email to notify us of this suddenly “out of business”. I’m beyond pissed at the fact that I don’t even have their full name to sue t...
hem for the amount of stress they’ve caused us before our wedding. There was no refund. He fucking us scam all of us of our money that we worked so hard for. Learn to live a honest life with honest work. This is beyond speechless! I wish them nothing but hell and karma. Hopefully this “medical condition” will take him straight to hell.
I am also out my deposit. Booked with this company in October of 2022 for my March 2023 wedding. Unless it went to spam and was autodeleted before I saw it, I never received any no...
tification they were closing. Went in to update my requested songs list and the website was gone. I tried calling Michael but the phone number was disconnected.
The website said only $100 down, but he had me pay over $500 in deposits. I'm working with my credit card company to get that back, but it's probably lost.
Stressful to say I’m in the same position as all these other clients of DiscJockeysNow. Micheal was very nice to speak to at first and all the sudden I couldn’t load their website ...
or access my playlist forms. I saw the reviews and knew I wasn’t gonna be getting my deposit back from Micheal. I’ve reached out to him and I haven’t heard back at all. My advice to anyone on this website moving forward is get a reputable DJ and get a contact written up and signed. No bride deserves this stress so close to their wedding dates! I will be reaching out to the better business bureau about this company since they stole our deposit.
These guys are a complete scam. It was two days before my ceremony that I finally got to speak to my "DJ". He told me that he would lay what he wanted and not what was on my list. ...
Also the only words he said the entire night was announcing our names. We also asked several times to turn down the music, but he never did. They didn't provide half the things I had requested and paid for. I finally asked him to leave with over 2 hours remaining in my reception. Michael said he would refund me and add an extra $50 so we could go out to dinner on them. Needless to say it never happened. Then my credit card was used to purchase online items. Luckily my cc company has a good fraud department and stopped 5 out of the 6 attempts. They have credited that first attempt that went through. Jennifer R
Hey there. Not a wedding but I needed a DJ for a conference . I originally spoke with Michael about what we needed and he was incredibly kind. Answered all the questions I had and ...
was upfront about pricing. I decided to book with them after reading a bunch of reviews, many of which were on this website, and having another conversation with Michael. He originally told me that he'd need to charge me the full amount now to secure my spot. I talked to him about how I would need to space the payment in half and he said that was fine.
He charged me the half and then was supposed to charge me the next half on the following Monday. He didn't. I reached out to ask about the transaction and didn't hear a response. Admittedly, I got busy with another project and forgot to follow up again. I followed up again and the email bounced back. I immediately went to check their website - it was gone. Their Facebook account? GONE. It was like they had disappeared off the face of the Earth. I called the number Michael gave me originally - straight to voicemail.
I've filed a dispute with the credit card company to hopefully get my money back but do not use this seller. Unreliable and shady business practices.
This company is a complete scam! He made us pay in full to book him back 5 months ago for our November 12th wedding and never showed up! We are out of 695.00$$ and can’t get it ba...
ck bc it’s been over 90 days according to the credit card company we used. We can’t get anyone to answer the phone and there’s no way to leave a message bc the mailbox is full. Someone needs to do something about this man! This is so unfair! I mean why make us fill out tons of paperwork and even call us if you weren’t really going to show up!
Absolute scam - we booked in 7/2021 for our 11/2022 wedding and paid a deposit to hold the date. In 10/2022, I was urged to complete the final forms by the deadline, got that turne...
d in beforehand, then got an "URGENT" text from Mike asking me to call right away - turns out that is just to get you to reply, it wasn't even urgent. Then I'm told I need to provide a generator for them due to the venue, despite the fact I had already provided them sufficient information on the venue - this was less than 6 weeks prior to the scheduled event. Mike confirms I'm making the final payment in the days following this call, which I did (10/28/2022). On 11/2/2022, I receive an email stating they're going out of business with no mention of a refund - He doesn't answer emails, texts, calls - nothing... You mean to tell me that you (CONVENIENTLY) didn't know you were going out of business until two days after I paid the final balance?? I've disputed the charges with the bank for the final balance payment, but the deposit is lost for good since it was so long ago. Glad I didn't pay a large deposit at least, even though he begged.
Pricks, This is a scam, it’s two weeks till my wedding and they have gone completely MIA I got no excuse or response and fully paid for their service. It’s so awful that people do ...

Our bridal party danced from the start to the end of the night. The setting was beautiful. The disc jockey was very accommodating to our interests and desires as the event unwound....
Our dinner was very nice with lighter background music playing while we met with friends and family. Disc Jockeys Now handled the entire evening just as we instructed. Our friends and family were very complimentary as we left to begin our honeymoon evening. Disc Jockeys Now was a very good bargain. Would we use them again or recommend this service to our friends? Absolutely yes, we most certainly would. Planning the wedding was a great deal of work but they helped make it much easier for the both of us.

Marvin and Ben nailed it on our special day!!! the music was awesome and everyone was out on the dance floor!! The videographer Ben, did a great job capturing every special second!...
! thank you for making our day beautiful and memorable!!!

ly 1-2 months before our wedding) and we found Disc Jockeys! I looked into their website and read the reviews... Needless to say, I called them the moment I could. They were not only affordable, but they were so kind, caring, and professional all the way through. The communication was absolutely on point! The customer service was amazing and our DJ, Doug, was fantastic! He played all the right songs, got people to start dancing, enjoying the music. He was just simply amazing and I couldn’t have been happier on such a beautiful day. Thank you, Disc Jockeys Now & thank you, Doug, for making it an even better day with your talent!
Fantastic DJ. He helped me plan my playlist for my big day. From the start, the music was just right, soft and easy kind of a blend that everyone enjoyed. Later we did our first da...
nce and father-daughter dance followed but our cake, garter and bouquet. The song we picked for the garter removal was a little risky, to say the least but it went over well, thanks to how the DJ handled it. He handled all our custom songs requests just as we had asked him to. He carried out our plan flawlessly. So happy with Disc Jockeys Now.
We needed our DJ to set up and perform our ceremony then play music at the reception a few miles down the road at the venue we had reserved for our party. He pulled it off like a p...
ro. He had a clear Dj sounding voice without being conceited about it. He was very down to Earth and made my guests feel comfortable right from the first song til the last. Our sendoff was really special and everyone wished us the best as we headed outside to our limo. It was a perfect way to end a perfect event. WE certainly feel good about referring Disc Jockeys Now to any future bride and groom.
Thanks so much for all you did for us. Our DJ was a very big part of what made our event such a wonderful occasion. We just could not have asked for a better fit with our needs and...
our guests. You were an easy group to work with and were prompt in responding to all our questions. My husband and I have very different tastes in music yet the DJ from Disc Jockeys Now was able to blend those tastes together all night. It just worked.
I Would not change a thing. Marvin Bass was an absolute blast and was down to make our day so memorable! We were really pleased! Super affordable!
We feel like we made a friend in Joe, our disc jockey that did our wedding. He works for disc jockeys now as a dj but also works as an IT guy which is cool because that is what my ...
new husband does so they hit it off right away. His music was all we wanted and then some. He knew when to speed it up and slow things down. It was a nice casual fun country wedding. The best kind!

My wedding was great.
These DJ's are the best we have ever seen. Our DJ was the best. He was so accommodating and easy to deal with. He played our important songs and took requests and made sure we all ...
had a good time dancing. We would use disc jockeys now again for sure and will let friends know. They offered us a really good price and then after we set things up with them, they let us log onto their site discjockeysnow.com I think, to pick everything we wanted. It was a pretty simple process. I give them rave reviews for price and quality and friendliness. I hope we can use them for a party or some other special occasion in the future.
We decided on Disc Jockeys Now after a friend told us to check them out. They were fun and easy to get along with on the planning part. Their songlist had everything that we wanted...
except for 2 of our songs but they got those for us without charging extra for that. I was very nervous on my wedding day but their dj, ray was really funny and helped me relax when I talked to him before he introduced us into the hall. My husband is a huge star wars fan so we came into the room playing the star wars theme music. It was pretty cool. The whole party just seemed to flow smoothly all night and the songs we danced to sounded great. We all liked him and we would choose him again. Sadly I can't say the same for my videographer! I found his business card at a hall I visited and he was a disaster. Complaints are too many to list. Now I just hope I get my video at all! I should have used the knot to find ALL my vendors. All my other vendors were great and I will be posting more reviews about them because they all worked together to make our party and ceremony turn out so nice. I have so many people to thank for all of this!
We loved Disc Jockeys Now! No complaints. The DJ was really fun to work with and treated us well. He played a good mixture of different songs that all of our friends liked.

rom this company's website song guide on discjockeysnow.com and it was worth the effort. He played a very nice mixture of different eras and tastes and everyone enjoyed it. We only had 50 people make it to the reception after our ceremony but the ones that did come stayed the whole time. We had a little trouble logging into their site to choose music which was frustrating but it turns out we had forgotten the proper password to use. Once we looked that up in our notes it was very very simple. We booked our DJ about 5 months prior to our wedding with Disc Jockeys Now. Complaints are tiny: The DJ came dressed down to set up his equipment but he did change into something nice well before everyone arrived. He had to let 2 songs play through while he went to the bathroom (apparently his stomach was upset) but it did not cause us a problem. The positives were many and lots of my friends told me he was great. About 6 of us danced non stop for what had to be an hour. It was a super fun time and myself and my husband Bill are quite happy, actually with all the vendors involved in our wedding.
What a perfect day. We asked Disc Jockeys Now to do the music at our perfect day and they were, well, just what we needed. What a wonderful selection of music to take care of every...
one's tastes. The older guests enjoyed it as much as the younger ones. The price and payment terms were more than reasonable for what we got. We liked that we did not have to pick all the music but we still got to chose the songs we really wanted. With Disc Jockeys Now, complaints, as I read someone else say, were few and far between: I wished he would have worn an outfit that matched our colors. He looked great but if it was color coordinated with my wedding colors it would have been even better. Maybe they could start asking brides about their colors. Also he only arrived about an hour in advance to start setting up his equipment, my friend who was there decorating thought he was going to be there way sooner but he started right on time just like he said he would. We used up the whole 5 hours they billed us for and it was worth the money for sure. We will tell our friends to book with this company. One of our best vendors for sure.
It was all just a blurr! We planned all of this in less than 8 weeks. I was given very short notice of a job relocate so we had to get everything done quickly. We reserved all our ...
vendors in less than 2 weeks and disc jockeys now was the entertainment company we chose. We really liked their prices and we got to have a lot of input on the dj. We picked some of the music from this big list they had on their site and we got to pick the important songs as well. He played a nice mix of our songs and some things he thought might be a hit. We had a few glitches with our groomsmen (They drove together and took a wrong turn, it was hilarious) so our bridal party introduction music got messed up but it was the best man's fault. It was all good though. the dj made it into something really fun. We all danced and had great fun but like I said it was over in a blurr. Our send off song was the perfect way to end a perfect night. We really enjoyed disc jockeys now and that discjockeysnow.com site they have was super awesome and nice reviews. I'd give them a 10 out of 10 and the price was a lot less than we had budgeted. We wish we could do it all over again it was so much fun.
My wedding was the best.
Wow that was all a blurr. Our wedding day was amazing. The ceremony was so romantic and sweet. Then when we got to the reception hall, the dj from disc jockeys now was there to gre...
et us and introduce us to the Aggie's fight song which was just what we wanted. He kept things real mellow in the dinner portion and cocktails but turned it up when we all wanted to stretch our legs and dance. He was a very considerate person and was just fun to work with. We ended the night on the dance floor together and our friends helped us carry the huge number of presents we got out to our van. We are glad we used disc jockeys now at the party on our wedding day.
We hired Disc Jockeys Now back in March of this year and decided pretty quickly that we wanted them to be our disc jockeys. Everyone was pretty helpful and nice. The DJ was on time...
like he said he would be. He started things off with lower volume music choices that worked great for the guests who were talking and socializing with us in the beginning, during cocktails and then dinner. The best man used the Dj microphone to give the best best toast ever. The dancing started with a few of our favs then the dj added in some that really worked with everyone. We are going to put one of these reviews on their website www.discjockeysnow.me because we were really pleased by all the things they did and we also cna plan on using them in the future. We have already talked about doing a 10 year vow renewal kind of party with maybe 100 people (We had 250 plus at the reception) and I know we can count on a great time all over again.
I loved Thomas from Disc Jockeys Now. However, everyone I spoke to throughout the process was very nice and professional. Thomas worked the crowd the entire night. I don't recal...

inking only about my dress. I wanted every stitch to be perfect. When we finally started lining up our remaining vendors for the wedding we made dozens of phone calls. The planning process for a wedding is way more work than they tell you. We called discjockeysnow.com and first of all liked their prices. Also we got through to a live person when we called. They were nice and got us a good deal on their 6 hours package with those dance lights. Discjockeysnow.com was on time and he played good music and kind of ran the reception along with our planner. We asked him to play a few more slow songs for my mom and dad which he did. They liked that. It's hard to please everybody, we had 250 people there cause Juan has a big family but the DJ did good for us.
My Dj was great. We didn't pick many songs for the Dj to play but he picked up the slack and filled in nicley. The volume was nice, softer in the start of the event then louder whe...
n the older folks had gone home and the real partiers were left. There were a few great slow dances that everyone liked and some oldies for mom and dad and my fav aunt. After a while we all started dancing like we did back in college and had a fantastic time. We asked him to stay longer so we could get our fill since we WONT be doing this again. We were made for each other and trust we will celebrate many more good times as husband and wife in our future. We like DiscJockeysNow and will call them again for sure. WE also saved some money that helped pay for a nicer honeymoon. We leave on our cruise on Monday. Can't wait, just gotta be careful not to fall over board lolol.
We reserved a DJ with Disc Jockeys Now 2 months before the wedding. They got there early and were set up and playing before anyone was there. The dancing didnt start until after we...
did our first dance because we wanted that to be the start of the party. The best man used the DJ's microphone and gave the best toast EVER. Really fun reception times and great songs all night with our DJ from discjockeysnow.com. We got so many gifts we had to use Ben's best friend's pick up truck to get them all back to our apartment.

loud like you sometimes see at other receptions. The DJ added some tunes that even my grandparents liked which was nice. All our formal dances went perfectly. Our first dance was so nice it was the high light of the evening. I absolutely loved dancing to that song with my new husband (xoxox) in front of All my family and friends and his too of course. My danc ewith my dad was really sweet. Dad surprised me with an extra wedding gift during the dance (extra money for the honeymoon) which was really sweet to do for us both. The DJ had us dancing line dances, dancing to rock oldies country disco top 40 you name it he had it ready to go. He even honored our request to avoid any dirty words and no rap! Late at night we were all getting tired but he still had us going over and over again. When it was all over, we cleaned up and headed out for the airport. We just got back a few days ago from an incredibly fun romantic thrilling honeymoon (best trip of each of our lives, no doubt about that) and are ready to begin our new lives together. Sweet!
Disc Jockeys Now is a great company to host your wedding reception. From the beginning they were easy to work with and quick at responding to any emails or phone calls. I loved the...
organization of their wedding playlist and wedding timeline and felt confident that the reception would run smoothy because of them. My DJ, Branson, was so much fun and kept the party going from start to finish. They are an affordable company that I highly recommend.
We enjoyed being able to reserve the date with a company, who then assigned a local DJ. The day of the wedding we recieved a voucher to give the DJ at the end of the night, but you...
only have to give it to them if you believe they deserve to be paid.

The DJ was good and played good music. The company was very easy to work with.
most of the time we had to ask them to turn up the music but other than that they did a real good job

I did want you to know that our DJ did an excellent job and we thoroughly enjoyed his talent Friday. Thank you again for helping us out.

We had an amazing, down to earth, very professional DJ. Thank you for your services. We had a great reception. Thank you all soooo very much! He was excellent....thank u!
I want to thank Disc Jockeys Now for their assistance in making the wedding a success. Our DJ was exceptionally friendly and professional. He ended up being a friend of one of the ...
groomsmen and we immediately hit it off. The DJ helped me through the jitters and kept the crowd engaged. Thanks Again.
I heard that several times. Everyone had lots of fun. Thank you for making this wedding reception a blast!
