DJ Connection

Unfortunately, we did not have the best experience with DJC. We partnered with them to play music during cocktail hour/dinner, for special dances and for introducing toasts (simple & straightforward). While we were working to finalize the timeline, I had to have multiple emails and meetings with the team to get edits pulled through that they kept missing, despite having conversations where we went over exactly what to update. This made me worried, so I printed out the list of our special songs to help ensure things went well (in addition to filling it out on their site). They played the wrong first dance song, and took a while for them to pick up it was the wrong song. They also showed up with two DJs, which was never communicated to us - we had only ordered for one meal. I will say they did a good job with introducing toasts, announcing things, etc. but on a special day, you want to be able to say you fully trust a vendor, and I can't say I had that experience. Also, I see on another 1 star review they say the client was difficult from the start. I work in client services too and I couldn't imagine putting the blame back on the client. I would encourage you to take the constructive feedback in stride and focus on how the feedback can help you better your business and as a growth opportunity, rather than blame your client.

Terrible services from this company. They gave us a quote which was not communicated to the rest of the company or at least saved to our client file so when it came to giving our final payment, our outstanding balance was different everywhere you check like invoices, calling in the office, or email correspondence. On the day of our wedding, the DJ came an hour late, which caused a domino effect: our sound check was pushed back, delayed finishing our hair and makeup and therefore, caused our wedding ceremony to start late which ate into our photography time. Not only this, but when it came to the sound check, the audio track that was suppose to be downloaded prior to the event was not downloaded and ready. The microphones kept going in and out throughout the speeches due to the receiver. They even had this “classic 1955 chrome plated Elvis Microphone” as a selling point which was nowhere to be seen in our event. Finally, the 20 uplighting I paid for was not setup properly. It was obvious that the set up was not done properly as majority of the uplighting was not even against the wall. One positive thing that came out of this was that our dance floor was never empty - thanks to the DJ that played every single song in our requested playlist. I highly advise to stay away from them.

I was SO impressed with everything this company provided. They were always super nice on the phone when you called to have questions. You are able to sign into your own portal to pick all of your songs. They are calling you to catch up with you and to see if you have any questions for them. They will get ahold of you the week of to make sure that you have EVERY song that you can on the list. The DJ was a blast at the wedding and keep you on schedule as well. I had DJ Rey and he was AMAZING! Very high energy and kept everyone dancing. Had a bunch of complements on not only the DJ but the company as well.

We were very impressed with DJ Connection's customer service and enthusiasm from the start. The online planning portal is very convenient and helped me plan down to the smallest details for the ceremony and reception music. They were very hands-off until the final confirmation call, but also very responsive if we had a question via email and phone. I was able to log on to the portal at my convenience until a week before the wedding when we had our 2nd and final planning call to confirm our music choices. We received the name of our DJ ten days before the wedding, although they do not allow you to contact that person beforehand. The planners at DJ connection ensure that all important information is relayed for the day-of though, and everything went very smoothly. We absolutely loved our DJ and we were very impressed with his professionalism and attentiveness to us throughout the wedding. He helped to keep things moving on the schedule we provided and made sure that we were having fun in the process. Highly recommend working with DJ connection!

We had Jeff as our DJ and he was so great! He made the whole night go smoothly and worked with our coordinator to keep on schedule. He even came before the ceremony to meet us and bring us a drink! We would recommend to anyone who wants a DJ and doesn't mind not knowing who your DJ will be until a week before the ceremony. The company has great customer service and will be your point of communication until the day of.

With a very non-traditional wedding, DJ Connection was very attentive, focused on our needs, and Tasha was excellent with our families and guests. While the dancing was not the primary focus of the wedding, they were very adaptive and everyone had a great time! The thank you note was the icing on the cake, with Tasha naming my father and the great time she had chatting with him! Thank you for making our day so special and being a part of it!

I won a package with DJ Connections that was a cheaper package price that included 4 up-lights for free. I was a little hesitant with this company since I was unable to speak with my DJ prior to the wedding day. Let me tell you...THEY BLEW ME AWAY!!! They give you a portal to use to make selections for every moment of your big day. I was able to request songs that we were not even sure were going to be able to be played, and they were able to get every single one of them. On top of that they also have an area for songs you DO NOT want to play and they stick to it. He was a great MC and was able to keep the party going. I could not have been happier with the service I received over the phone either. I wasn't a highly needy bride but anytime I had question I was able to get answers. I didn't always talk to the same people but the staff her is so fun and energetic. I HIGHLY recommend using DJ Connections.

We absolutely loved our experience with DJ Connection! It started with our first call from DJ Mandy who helped us set up our initial timeline and types of music that would get played. She even sung for us when we were unsure about how a couple of line dances went! 😀 Then I called in a couple of times with questions and the other DJs that answered the phone were always very nice, helpful and quick with an answer. Then DJ Callen for our ceremony and reception was out of this world! 🤩 He was so professional, yet so much fun, without taking over the show. He truly was exactly what we asked for in a DJ! We have had so many of our guests comment on how good our DJ was and ask where and how did we find him. DJ Connection spends so much time asking questions about what you want you reception to be like or what is your ideal DJ. Then they take all those answers and pick one of their DJs to match you. We are proof that it works and they are very good at their job!

DJ Connection was the DJ at my wedding in November 2017. They are unbelievably amazing. Not only do they travel at no extra cost they also make the entire process as stress free as possible. When you are on the phone with them setting everything up they make you feel like you are a star! Needless to say don’t look any further because you have just found your DJ! 😊

DJ Connection did an outstanding job for our wedding this past November. Jessie was our DJ and she did an amazing job. She got some "weird" requests and she always found me and asked if they were okay, for example "Baby Shark," which was totally fine because we had a lot of kids there. She kept the party going all night and I am so thankful for her handwork. Sammy was the producer who worked with us and she did an amazing job putting together our songs and accommodating our requests for some instrumental songs for the ceremony. The online portal wasn't the most friendly, but Sammy helped us out big time! So thankful for DJ Connection. I would highly recommend them to all my family and friends!

We used DJ Connection in San Antonio and had DJ Kyle. He was AMAZING!! He did a fantastic job MCing the evening and kept the party going. We greatly enjoyed working with the company! They had an awesome website feature to add songs you wanted played and songs you did not want played. I would highly recommend DJ Connection!

We lucked into having DJ Connection at our wedding by getting a free uplighting service from attending a bridal fair last spring. The production staff was thorough, helpful, and unexpectedly fun! Their playlist portal and planning software made the process easy. The DJ was punctual and kept everyone on the dance floor from 8pm to 1am! I was the one who had to shut the party down. Everything with DJ Connection exceeded my expectations. Our guests mentioned all night and after the wedding how much fun the reception was. I would highly recommend DJ Connection!

DJ Connection is definitely the DJ you should choose for your wedding. Let me just say...Tandy is by far the BEST DJ we could have imagined having on our wedding day!! He went above and beyond for us. There was not a moment during our day that we didn’t know what was going on or what was to come next. He was on point throughout the whole day. I was a little nervous to use DJ Connection at first because you don't find out who your DJ is going to be until the week of your wedding. A friend recommended DJ Connection because we were having trouble finding a good, affordable DJ. It ended up we requested to talk to our DJ the week of the wedding to get a feel for them and to kind of get to know him and for him to know our expectations. This DJ ended up not being able to come the day of the wedding, so DJ Paul covered for him, and he was simply AMAZING. Everyone had the best time dancing all night. I would definitely recommend!

DJ Connection went above and beyond my expectations of what a wedding DJ should be. Our DJ Telvis was not only an extraordinary DJ who knew exactly what to play at the right moment, he was a great dancer who truly enjoyed what he was doing. He made sure the music was flowing at just the right times. We always heard that a wedding DJ can make or break your reception and Telvis certainly made our day. Thank you tons for the good jams that kept people moving on the dance floor all night long!

I was a little nervous since you don’t get to meet with your Dj, but Dj Elijah in Cincinnati was awesome! He made sure we were having a good time & let us know what was going to be happening and when. He had everyone on the dance floor all night. He’s also someone who will play ALL of your song requests! DJ Connection was absolutely FANTASTIC!! Our DJ even asked us what our favorite drink was and he brought it to us after the ceremony! He played everything that we wanted in the right order and even when things got out of order because of our wedding planner, he was great at working with us so no one knew. He kept the party alive all night long and we received SO MANY compliments on him. The planning beforehand was seamless and everyone that we spoke to was SO friendly and made sure that our day was perfect. I would highly recommend them to anyone that is in need of a DJ.

Working with DJ Connection couldn't have been easier. I reached out to them for my company's Employee Picnic in August. When I first reached out (months in advance) we got all the paperwork taken care of and they told me not to worry if I don't hear from them for a while because they would be in touch to make sure they got all final details closer to the date. They have a very well planned out timeline that helps make sure you are on track, even if your event isn't for months. They weren't lying about getting back to you either. They reached out to me a few weeks before our picnic to talk through the schedule I had submitted to them on our online portal (that was another cool feature- you have your own online portal that allows you to lay out a timeline of when you want announcements made, certain songs played, etc.) to make sure our event ran as smoothly as possible. The day of our event, our DJ Chris, made everything so easy for me. Not only was he very easy-going and helped reassure me that he had everything under control, he also was very flexible to any last minute changes. He had all the equipment he needed with him including wireless microphones, which were super helpful when making announcements around the different park locations. He also got along great with our employees. If we have the ability to request a DJ again, we will definitely be requesting him. My wife asked me to take point on selecting a DJ and coordinating everything with them for our wedding. A friend recommended DJ Connection for our wedding, as he and his wife had used them about a year prior, so they were my first point of contact. From the beginning, it was a great experience working with everyone! There were a couple of minor communication mixups when it came to getting the contract written up, but they were very helpful in getting things cleared up and on the way. All the planning was easily taken care of in the online client portal. That system is a bit clunky especially in organizing the event timeline, but it's still nice to be able to know exactly what's going where and have things tailored to exactly what we needed. For our wedding, I have nothing but praise for the way things went. Timing was perfect, the DJ even was able to loop a few pieces of music seamlessly when we took longer than planned on the processional. Just a couple days before the wedding, we had some last-minute changes, and they were more than accommodating and happy to help! Everything went so smoothly for ceremony and reception, and I can't recommend DJ Connection highly enough!

This past April I had the honor of putting together my best friend’s wedding. One of the most important factors of the big day was definitely choosing the perfect DJ. DJ connection was it! Their process is different then anything I had ever seen and was so streamlined and organized. I got several calls to make sure that every detail was perfect and customized to perfection. From the coordinators to the DJ himself, everyone at DJ connection was so courteous and professional, making the process not only easy but enjoyable! Not every vendor was so understanding when speaking to the maid of honor instead of the bride, but DJ connection never treated me wrong. They were very modern and cooperative above all else. As for the music on the day of, it was perfect! The DJ followed instructions to the t, but also had his own DJ flair that was perfect for the mood of the reception. The ceremony music was great as well. His set up was quick and easy and he knew exactly what he was doing, he even brought a whole set up for a surprise performance by some of the junior members of the wedding party. Needless to say if we had the chance to do it over again we would definitely make the same choice. DJ connection was the way to go, professional, affordable, and the overall right choice. The perfect backtrack to the perfect day!

What a great group of people! Honestly, I always love when a DJ gets the party going and keeps it that way, and that’s exactly what DJ connection did at my wedding. Our Dj was easy to talk to, and so much fun! He listened to everything we asked for and when we hit bumps in the road on time after the millions of pictures we took after the ceremony he was right there to keep our guest entertained!! Seriously amazing!! I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a DJ! Thanks guys!!

We researched a few different DJ's in the Dallas area, and these guys came out on top. Needless to say, our DJ was great, just the perfect amount of energy and music was catered nicely just for us. Would definitely recommend giving them a call!

My husband and I had an amazing experience with DJ connection. We would both seriously recommend their services. It was really intimidating picking a DJ and they made me feel completely comfortable. My phone conversations with them always got me so excited. DJ connection has such a positive and charismatic vibe. I was always so pumped for our wedding after our discusssions, meetings and phone calls. They made thing so easy. I just had to go into my account and pick out our songs. They knew we had a 3 yr old too so we made some kids selections and even had a song just for our son. He was soooo excited and soooo cute when it came on. We had a family dance too. Their people are easily available and always helped me with questions and concerns. Everything was made super easy for us. The DJ that night was awesome. We had so much fun. I told everyone find me on the dance floor. I lived it up and had the night of my life thanks to DJ connection. Everything from planning, being there, professionalism, service, ceremony and reception was freaking stellar!! Thank you so much DJ connection y'all did not disappoint! We loved our experience with y'all. Thank you again for making our day/night it was perfect and so special.

This company is amazing!!! Their online portal is very user friendly and the whole process was streamless. Eric, our DJ, always knew what would make the guests want to dance. I would recommend them for any event, not just for weddings!

We hired DJ connections knowing we would not meet our DJ until the day of the wedding and yes it did give me anxiety because we had met with all our other vendors before hiring them but after two previous friend’s wedding, we loved what we saw and heard that we had to hire them. Plus, we had all sorts of discounts that allowed us to hire them for our big day and still stay within our overall budget! I also want to mention, from previous comments I have seen – I was never given a “nickname” or called other than my own name “Mikyla” and when I e-mailed them with questions throughout the planning process I received a reply within 24 hours if a weekday. About one week from the wedding date I had a final phone meeting discussing timeline and who my DJ was going to be. We rated our event from 1-10 a 7/10 (how much involvement and crazy haha you want them to be) and it was exactly what we wanted wedding day. I want to send major kudos to our DJ from DJ connections, Matt (Rhodes?). He was dressed professionally, we heard him loud and clear without covering our ears during the reception, he was super attentive and worked super well with our day-of-coordinator, he played the songs we wanted and he avoided the songs we did not want played, he even was super accommodating when my dad placed a honeymoon fund lantern for people to donate to our honeymoon at the DJ table (a Filipino tradition – although dad wanted the money pinned to my dress like Filipino style but I was not about to let that happen ahah so he settled for a lantern, which our DJ mentioned to donate throughout the night). I believe DJ connections mentioned Matt has been with the company for 7+ years and he is phenomenal! Throughout the night, he made it about us, for example right before a special event (i.e. garter toss) he would say, “Alright everybody, give it up for our bride and groom, Mikyla and Ian”)! I LOVED that he did this because throughout the night we would get claps and cheers over and over again! Matt with DJ Connections was definitely everything we wanted in a DJ. Our experience with DJ connections was a GREAT one and Matt was exceptional!

Loved having this DJ company as part of our wedding! I am originally middle eastern, however, I was raised here most of my life. For our big day, I wanted to include some traditional Arabic songs but also have some English songs as well. I was nervous that I wouldn’t be able to do this or that the songs wouldn’t transition so well but the process was so easy! The DJ mixed the songs so well, all we had to do was update the list of songs we wanted to play on our big day. They also had a “do not play list” as well which was great! I appreciated that they really took the time to figure out what kind of wedding and reception we were looking to have. They listened so well to what we were looking for and they gave us the HUGE, AWESOME upbeat, exciting and massive celebration we were looking for!!! The only thing I was somewhat disappointed in was that I was not able to meet or speak with my DJ until the week of the wedding. I was really nervous because I wanted to make sure the assigned DJ was going to give us the kind of party we were looking for, everything luckily worked out SO WELL but if you're looking for that personal feel of knowing exactly what you’re going to get, this probably isn’t your preferred vendor. Overall SUPER happy with our experience and beyond thrilled! Would recommend to all my friends and family!

Amazing! Not only did they play good music. Our DJ was a huge help in cueing bridesmaids when to walk in, they kept checking on my husband and I periodically to see if we needed anything or if we wanted him to do anything different. The customer service was astonishing and they were the perfect addition to our wedding!..

The team at DJ Connection are ultimate professionals. From my initial inquiry to our wedding day (and even after) they were open, listened to our needs, and created a wonderful experience for us! I highly recommend this company. They will take care of everything you need and make it look easy!

DJ connections was used for my sons wedding. The DJ was early. We had a home wedding and he came up with ideas for us to best utilize his service. He engaged our guests and kept all of us busy. Friendly and professional. I have another son getting married next year and we plan on using them again.

DJ Connection made our wedding the amazing success it was. My entire family enjoyed the night all night dancing and had an amazing time. Jordan was amazing and danced with us and was just an amazing DJ and made sure me and my new husband were taken care of all night. Thank you DJ connection for making our night one to remember. DJ Connection was amazing from the very beginning. They contacted us in a timely manner, were clear as to what to expect and financial obligations, communicated with us over the months prior to the wedding and had PERSONALITY PLUS everytime we spoke. When the wedding reception finally came, they drove everything to perfection and make everything flow. They never missed a beat and the dance floor was NEVER empty. Highly recommend.

I was nervous about using this DJ company at first, because you do not communicate directly with your DJ until sometimes, the day of the wedding. I literally did not meet my DJ until 30 minutes before the wedding. But, let me say, all my worries were gone as soon as the wedding began. He did an amazing job!! I could not have asked for a better DJ. Everything went perfect. The ceremony songs were all perfectly timed, and he made sure to play all my "Must Play" songs. It was magical, and I really appreciate all his help. The company was a dream to work with from the beginning. Communication is important to me, so they really proved themselves. I highly recommend this affordable and hard-working company. Great job!!

If I could give DJ connection 10/5 stars I would!!! Our DJ was so polite and professional. He asked me if it was okay to take requests and even allowed my family to do some karaoke. My dad and I were able to sing our favorite song together, how cool is that! The music was all exactly what we asked for, and was played so well. It definitely was a great addition to our day. I cannot say enough great things about DJ Connection!

They were amazing! Great communicators the day of and throughout the day. They know their stuff and followed the game plan exactly as we laid out. An incredible value over all!

I was so happy with this choice! I didn't even want a DJ at first but it turned out to be a great choice. Tandy was so professional and also brought us champagne to toast each other right after our "I Do's." He went above and beyond what I thought a DJ would do and I would highly recommend them! I also didn't speak to a single unfriendly person during the process. Everyone was more than helpful any time I had to call.

I can't say enough about our DJ, whose name was actually DJ! He made sure that the night was exactly what we wanted during our wedding. Everyone at the wedding was so impressed I actually have a niece who is having a wedding without a DJ that asked if she could hire DJ just to coordinate! He was so considerate and we had a great time! I would definitely recommend DJ connections especially DJ!

DJ Connection was one of the best choices I made for our wedding!! They were wonderful from setting everything up, to following up with my personal requests. Our DJ was amazing and so funny. He read the crowd the whole night and played songs that fit the mood. When he saw a song not working well, he changed into a different one. DJ Connection (and our DJ Chris) were awesome! From the moment we booked (a year out form the wedding) up until the end of our wedding, they were attentive, courteous, and professional. They spent a lot of time on the phone with us making sure that our day was going to be perfect. Then, the day of the wedding, our DJ kept checking in and asking if I needed anything (my DJ was getting me wine!). Now for the important part. The music selection was spot on. My husband and I like a lot of music, so we were giving him a high variety of artists and genres to play from, but our DJ picked all the right songs. The dance floor wasn't empty once, and everyone commented on how awesome the music and music flow was. I definitely recommend DJ Connection!

The DJ was on time and set up ready to go. He did a good job keeping things moving along, he just didn't have the energy level that I was hoping for. He was kinda dry and didn't really interact much with the crowd. We also wanted to play the shoe game and he never did that.

DJ Connection was the best part about our wedding! Our DJ Ryans helped us with everything from the music to decorating. he even let us use the party lights for free! he helped our coordinator keep track of everything. This was by far the best investment we made towards our big day 5/5 would 100% reccomend to anyone planning a wedding or any other big party!

I actually wasnt going to hire a DJ but I won a discount on their package through a wedding expo. Looking back I would have booked them regardless! Love their work and they handled my guests like pros and got my dance floor going! We were so incredibly disorganized the day of but they were able to make changes and make our day run smoothly! Sam was our DJ for the day and he did an amazing job!
