We had DJ Fritz at our wedding and it was a blast!!

Fritz delivered a remarkable and forever-memorable performance as our wedding DJ. He perfectly captured the vibe we were shooting for and he was able to read the room and keep everybody engaged and having a good time! Fritz was extremely professional and well prepared and he made everything look easy! Everything from pre-ceremony to our grand exit went smoothly with zero technical issues and we only heard positive comments from our guests about Fritz. You’re in great hands with Fritz!

We went through our venue to book DJ maestro as an associated vendor. We had a few issues (detailed below). But overall, they would get a passing grade. First off, we didn't get to even meet with our DJ or discuss what we wanted until a week before the wedding. I tried to contact them about a few things before and our emails went all over the place. We didn't even know who our DJ was (Fritz) until the week before via video. He logged on from a public space (coffee shop?) and so we had some trouble hearing each other. Maybe that's where all the other issues stemmed from? Second, we paid extra in advance for our first dance song to be edited down to a shorter length by DJ Maestro. We really didn't want to just awkwardly fade the song out at 2 minutes. They took a while to complete this (~2 months). But the edited version ended up being what we wanted and so we paid the $30. Then when our first dance came along, our DJ did not play the edited version. Instead he played the original song in its entirety and then cut it off half way through (EXACTLY what we didn't want). We had practiced and paid for dance lessons for our first dance to the edited version we paid for. So it threw the whole thing off and we were unable to have that special moment. They did refund the $30, but honestly, I'm just sad all that effort was wasted and that moment lost. Thirdly, the DJ went off book from the playlist we provided him during the reception and cut off songs mid way through (cut off "Shout!" during the "a little bit softer now"... I mean, come on!). We specifically requested he not do these things in our meeting. Finally, despite asking us ahead of time for all of the specific songs to be played at each part of the wedding, he started playing a Chopin song before the ceremony instead of the music we had discussed. This was pretty minor, as things hadn't even started yet. But still. Overall, we still had a great wedding and people seemed happy enough to dance to the reception music. He didn't miss any other important cues or songs other than discussed above. But I was pretty disappointed in the DJ's performance. Especially with the first dance. That made me really sad. We would go with a different DJ (if not company) if we had to do it again.

We could not have asked for a better DJ than Tim from dj Maestro! He was confident, professional, and super prepared, but also fun and flexible, like when I asked him to give some birthday shoutouts to a couple of guests, or to play a certain song. He went above and beyond helping me curate special moments, like suggesting fun reception events during our planning call, and even creating a custom instrumental loop for my bridal entrance, which are some of my favorite memories. It was the dance party of my dreams, and we felt so at ease knowing he had everything handled. He’s a true pro and a gem of a person - we’re so grateful he was part of our day! Our photo booth attendant was lovely and fun as well!

Nate was such a pleasure to work with! He found the perfect balance of integrating our music into his style, professionally done. Our guests were raving about the music and his vibe!

Dj Maestro was the last DJ we spoke with before deciding who to hire for our special day. Jack O was our DJ for the wedding, and he was the nicest person and did a fantastic job. We sent him a playlist of everything we loved, and he put together the best playlist for the entire event and all of our guests loved the music and danced all night! The sound, up lights, and dance floor lighting was so perfect and worth the extra cost. We would highly recommend this DJ and would hire them again!

Do not look any further than dj Maestro - absolutely the best wedding experience one could ask for! The whole process of booking and setting up the song list was seamless, providing peace of mind when heading into the big day. Our song selections were quite unique with a blend of Greek, Polish, and English, but Nate blew it out of the water with playing the perfect amount of each genre. Guests could not stop raving about how great of a time they had on the dance floor...some even thinking Nate was Polish with how well he knew each song. This shows exemplifies the level commitment and dedication from the dj Maestro team to vet all songs before and ensure the ideal selections are worked in. Thank you again for everything!

DJ Zeyta was the perfect DJ for our small wedding in Boulder, CO last weekend. From the time we booked her until the very end of our event, she was professional and personable, and took time to understand the theme and mood we wanted our whole evening to have. She nailed it. From our ceremony to the last dance, we were so impressed with her. Her emcee style is relaxed and lower-key, which is just what we wanted. Our guests enjoyed interacting with her too! She even helped me pull off a big surprise for my new wife and adjusted her timeline for us accordingly. Highly recommend her and DJ Maestro! Thanks, Zeyta!

We could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding than Jack O. with DJ Maestro! He met with us beforehand and walked through every little music and emcee detail -- he even looked through songs he hadn't heard for our ceremony and first dance to find the perfect start and stop times. He was friendly, flexible, attentive, and made us feel celebrated! On the day of, he was very prepared and everything went smoothly. Guests commented that it was some of the best DJing, and our dance floor was PACKED the entire time! Would highly recommend.

We had DJ Fritz as our DJ for our wedding. Hands down, I could not have asked for a better DJ. He was very friendly, respectful and flexible with our requests. On top of that, he met all of our criteria to a T. All songs that were requested were played, and the timing of the songs were perfect. Our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were all perfected with his DJ skills. He also had an upbeat and fun energy that many of our guests enjoyed as well. I would hire Fritz for any event, he truly is phenomenal.

DJ Z was professional and friendly on the planning call. She listened to what we asked for (and it was a quirky mix!) and executed our vision perfectly! She kept things organized and running smoothly while also adjusting to our needs on the fly throughout the night. We had TONS of complements from our guess about how great the DJ was. She read the dance floor and helped create the perfect night. Truly one of the best choices for vendors out of our entire wedding. She’s also a genuinely kind, welcoming person. 11/10 would recommend.

Extremely Disappointed – Unresponsive and Unprofessional We had a very poor experience with DJ Maestro. My wife and I booked them for our wedding, but just three weeks later (and nearly four months before our wedding date), we had a change of plans and politely requested to cancel. Despite the very early notice—17 weeks ahead of our event—they refused to refund our $900 deposit, even though we hadn’t been assigned a DJ yet and no services had been rendered. What made things significantly worse was their lack of communication. After we sent multiple emails over the span of two weeks, we were completely ignored. It wasn’t until we cc’ed their general email and escalated that someone finally responded, only to reiterate their "non-refundable" policy and try to upsell us on photo booth services we didn’t ask for. Even after we were told the final decision was up to the owner (Tony), he never responded to us at all. This lack of accountability and basic professionalism from a wedding vendor is unacceptable. Planning a wedding is stressful enough—working with DJ Maestro only added to that stress. We strongly caution anyone considering this company to think twice. Their communication is unreliable, and they showed little flexibility or empathy for our situation.

DJ Maestro was the recommended to us by our wedding venue, and we’re glad we went with them! Madeleine was our DJ, and not only was she a terrific emcee, she also brought a great vibe to our big day. And when the reception (party) started, she rocked it! Highly recommend.

Our DJ Zeyta went above and beyond for our wedding! Not only was the music spot on she continuously checked on us to make sure we had drinks, food and were enjoying the time. Zeyta was fun, interactive and reads the crowd perfectly! Highly suggest!

We couldn’t have been happier with Marco at DJ Maestro. We worked with him at Wedgewood's Boulder Canyon venue. From the start, he was incredibly responsive and timely in all his communication. He listened carefully to our input and truly understood what mattered most to us on our wedding day. Classical music was central to our ceremony, and we had the unusual request of mic’ing acoustic classical instruments—cello and violin—in an outdoor venue. Marco delivered. While there was an additional charge for this specialized setup, it was very reasonable. We had been concerned there might be a high surcharge due to our specific requests, but that was absolutely not the case. On the day of the wedding, he worked quickly and efficiently to get everything dialed in with the musicians, and the result was excellent. He also handled all the sound and music needs for the rest of the evening, including the cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing from 8 to 11 pm. Marco has an excellent sense of pacing for the evening. As a professional musician who has played at hundreds of weddings, I would recommend DJ Marco in a heartbeat to anyone getting married. He is a true pro.

We had DJ Zeyta W-D. run our wedding reception and they were awesome! I would highly recommend their services. They were professional, flexible, organized, and easy to work with.

Katie at DJ Maestro did such a great job at keeping the party going! She played from our song list and kept a pulse on the mood of the party. She grouped songs together so the vibe moved along nicely. I loved how she danced as she DJ'd and even did the Macarena with us. When we met her she gave us big hugs and congratulations. Thank you!

Madeleine from DJ Maestro was my DJ for my wedding in mid-April and my husband and I have nothing but good things to say about her! She was professional and fun through our planning phase and super helpful on the day of the event! There were multiple songs in our list that she knew were important to us and she gave us a discrete heads up any time we were about to leave the reception hall before one of those songs, which we really appreciated! She prevented my husband from missing an important dance with his grandmother :) I also had some guests mention her specifically in the days after the event to talk about their favorite music moments. DJ Maestro (and especially DJ Zeyta!) was one of the best surprises that came with our all-inclusive wedding package at Ashley Ridge. We were matched with DJ Zeyta through the venue’s vendor team, and I genuinely couldn't have picked a better DJ myself. Not only did she completely vibe with us on a personal level, but she created the exact atmosphere we dreamed of for our wedding—fun, high-energy, and full of joy. She kept the dance floor alive all night, reading the room effortlessly and making sure everyone had a blast. One of my favorite parts? She even jumped on the dance floor with us a few times, which made the whole night feel even more connected and celebratory. Zeyta is someone I could absolutely see being friends with outside of the wedding world, and that’s exactly the kind of vendor I wanted—someone who felt like part of the party, not just working it. If you're getting married at Ashley Ridge and DJ Maestro is part of your package, consider yourself lucky—especially if you get DJ Zeyta. Highly, highly recommend!

We loved having Elizabeth Anaya as our DJ for our Boulder wedding! She was super fun and personable and made the night a blast. She did an epic job of fitting in all our and our guests' requested songs while keeping the vibes exactly what we asked for all night.

DJ Maestro is a fantastic company to work with and they did a great job DJing our wedding. When I first called, I talked to the manager, Kody. He is such a pleasant person and asked questions to get a feel about what kind of wedding we were having and more importantly, who we were. Well, we are a couple in our 60's with a large family and many children and grandchildren. We have a large variety of tastes in music! Kody was great and we filled out the info online which brought Kody to picking out DJ Nate for us! Well, DJ Nate was young, but boy did he know his job and he got us! Nate is such a kind person, and he knows how to DJ! He mic'd up my singers, the officiant, played all the songs we asked for at the wedding ceremony and at the reception. He MC'd perfectly and as a result, everything went as scheduled! Nate even handled with ease and a smile, last minute changes or requests! Your DJ (who wears a host of hats) and the music mean everything to how your wedding flows and it is directly tied to the fun everyone has. DJ Nate was the best! With such a variety of 170 guests, ages, etc., he got it all! Everyone had a great time, and we could not be happier! With just a few calls, Kody knew us, picked the perfect DJ for us, and DJ Nate's talents and personality were amazing! I highly recommend DJ Maestro, and with gratitude give them 5 stars!

Long review short- Zeyta (DJ Z) was one of our favorite vendors to work with, was extremely personable, got the party started & kept it going until the end! She was the most fun, engaging & picked up on our vibe very quickly to make the wedding & reception better than we could have imagined. Anneliese did a great job at our wedding. We went into it really not giving her a ton of guidance and she didn't disappoint. The ceremony and dinner music was classy, and she had everybody dancing until the very end.

Keeping people on the dance floor and having a great time was super important for us. I could not have imagined having a better DJ than Dani! She listened to every request we had for each part of our day and kept the dance floor filled with the best music all night. Thank you for all you did to make our wedding such a hit!

DJ Zeyta was our DJ for our wedding at Mountain View Ranch and she was awesome!! She was very thorough in our planning stage and we loved her vibe. We had a great experience using DJ Maestro for our July 2024 wedding. We were lucky to be paired with Sean! Sean made it extremely easy to meet with him. He listened to what we wanted to do for our whole wedding timeline. On the day of, Sean did an amazing job transitioning between our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception song requests. He took the playlist we sent him and was able to include all of our songs while making sure the music flowed. Our guests were dancing all night, and so many people mentioned that it was the best music they've heard at a wedding. We had an amazing experience working with DJ maestro and would definitely recommend requesting Sean for your events!

We had the pleasure of using dj Maestro at our wedding last weekend at The Pines by Wedgewood Weddings. We were paired with Madeleine and she was fantastic to work with from our initial consultation through the entire event. We provided her with a Spotify playlist that contained songs we wanted to hear, and she did a fantastic job mixing them together, cutting them at the right time, and continuing to play music when the dance floor was getting wild. She checked in with us multiple times during the event to ensure that everything was seamless. 10/10 recommend!
