DJ Sawyer was awesome and truly helped make our wedding. He was very helpful pre-wedding with planning, helping with our timeline, and allowing us to choose the music we wanted to hear. On the day of the wedding, not only was the music great but he was a very key part of making sure our wedding day was organized, on-time and went as smoothly as possible. In regards to music, we requested not-so-traditional music in the EDM/Dubstep genre. Let me tell you, DJ Sawyer crushed it. He not only played the songs we wanted him to play, but also took the time to plan a mix with them. It was exactly what we were looking for and we got so many compliments from our guests. We highly recommend Sawyer and we thank you for making our wedding day that much better!

Everyone inherently is selfish when it comes to music. They want to show you who they know, what they know, bands you don’t know… Sawyer doesn’t. It’s refreshing. He’s entirely focused on you, the couple, and what you want your wedding or event to be. We gave him an eclectic mix with everything from Tammy Wynette to Mariah Carey to Sabrina carpenter. He was able to match the crowds energy and find the vibe and NAILED IT. We are still getting compliments today on the music. Highly recommend sawyer for any event. Last point, we also had to move the entire wedding indoors. Sawyer calmly and professionally set everything up again inside and started the party. Professional, on time, killer DJ.

Sawyer is the best DJ! He was our DJ at our Lake Tahoe wedding in June. He was so easy to work with, he listened to all ggof our requests, is very easygoing, steady, kind, positive, and fun. Sawyer was amazing. We originally planned a winter wedding in Tahoe but then decided to elope 6 months earlier. We were able to move our deposit up and have him DJ our small reception at the Beach Retreat. He did such a wonderful job of reading the vibe and getting our small group of 20 to dance the night away. We enjoyed working with him so much we paid for him to travel down to our hometown 4 hours away to DJ our large 175 guest reception. Again he blew our minds. H let me (probably reluctantly to him) take the mic after a few too many whiskeys and he laughed and had fun with us the whole night. He has great energy and is so much fun. Sawyer was a pleasure to work with from start to finish! He was extremely accommodating with every request; we had two officiants and a family member sing, he even brought his son’s amp for us to plug into our keyboard! We wanted to incorporate a few family-tradition songs and he easily transitioned in and out of them seamlessly. He did a great job during the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception with speeches, and of course the rest of the evening where the dancefloor was constantly packed. I would recommend DJ Sawyer to anyone! Sawyer was incredibly thorough and organized during the planning meetings. He gave great advice to help us finalize the little details we didn't know how to plan. He helped us select specific songs for each part of the ceremony and he made sure our post-wedding speeches were structured appropriately. We had DJ Sawyer for our wedding at Palisades Tahoe. He was incredible, he came to the welcome event that we hosted the night before and the wedding. Almost all of our guests commented on how great he was as a DJ. During the reception he helped make sure that everything was on time and that we always had drinks for the toasts and other important events of the evening. On top of that he did an incredible job with getting the party going both nights and making sure he had the pulse of the room without being in the way at all. He was flexible when we took golden hour pictures longer than planned and generally made it all about us. Before the wedding he worked with us to make sure that he knew what we were looking for and was very understanding when we took a long time to get our opinions to him. He made it very easy and took what we gave him and made it a great event. We highly recommend him for weddings or any event where you need music.

Music is such an important part of your big day, and Sawyer went above and beyond as our DJ. He was receptive to all of our music requests, and he brought his own creative flair to the music for the reception and our afterparty. Just as important, Sawyer is a really skilled MC, keeping things flowing smoothly and naturally from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception and to the afterparty. He knew his audience well and anticipated the right vibes at the right time. We did a silent disco for our afterparty, and Sawyer kept the party going with his music mix. Sawyer did an amazing job as the DJ for our wedding at the Chalet View Lodge. Sawyer took the time to understand what was important to us leading up to the event to ensure it went off without a hitch. At the event he did an excellent job announcing all of the important details like getting groups together for photographs and introducing the toasts. We booked him for our summer wedding in Tahoe and he was nothing short of excellent from the beginning of planning our day until the music stopped at the end of the evening. Sawyer was a diamond in the rough. My original DJ cancelled on me two months, or so before my wedding (for Health reasons). I did not panic but I also didn't just want to book anyone last minute. I did my research and scheduled a few phone and video meetings with prospects. I knew with talking with Sawyer on our first consult phone call that he was the one. His energy was exceptional and he understood what types of music I was looking for. He was easy to get ahold of throughout the process if I had a question. On the day of my wedding, I was excited to meet all my vendors in person. Mr. Sawyer attended looking very professional and he was so kind from the get. He definitely assisted in the flow of our timeline and was an attentive host. The songs were so right, and all of our guests were so pleased with him. Our closest family said he was so kind and such a cool guy. I ended up allowing guests to requests songs because overall we all like the same genres. Best Ever! I first used MMDJ in 2015 for first daughters wedding then again in 2016 for my second and then was incredible happy he was available again in 2022 for my last daughters wedding. He is extremely organized, efficient and coordinates very well with whoever is running the wedding. I honestly believe he is what made all three of those weddings so much fun and memorable! Moonlight Mobile DJ made our wedding reception a dream. The process of selecting which songs to play was one of our favorite parts of planning the wedding. I cannot say enough good things about DJ Sawyer, from day one he went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and have the perfect wedding day. Our first interactions with him where very pleasant and straight forward, and when he called us for planning a couple weeks before the big day he made us feel so much more comfortable on timeline and setup locations. He is easy to chat with and makes everybody feel comfortable. I had multiple friends and family come up to me at the wedding and afterwards to tell me how much he stood out to them. He was great at directing and making sure timeline was on schedule but was also comfortable when we had to make adjustments. Originally we were supposed to have an outdoor ceremony but with the weather had to make adjustments and he rolled with the changes no problem. I never once had to stress on my wedding day about timeline or music choice, and we are truly grateful for that. My husband and I love dancing, and once we got to the dancefloor at the end of the night everything was perfect. He got our music selection perfectly and kept all of the guests coming back to the dance floor. The lighting package was extra special and made our dance floor pictures come out so cool. Sawyer was the DJ for my wedding reception and did an outstanding job from beginning to end. Not only did he cover multiple genres (Bollywood, EDM & more) for a diverse group, he masterfully navigated the crowd and created a fun, energetic atmosphere. Everyone had a good time. Never in our lives had we seen our families dance so much. It was really nice to see that. Sawyer was also willing to extend for 2 additional hours on the fly as my group did not want to stop which I really appreciate. Before I had never considered how important of a role the DJ plays in all of this. I had inquired with multiple DJs and Sawyer was the only one that actually took the time and effort to build a genuine connection with me while covering all the details until I was good. During the reception Sawyer also acted as a coordinator, managing the timeline and execution of events (toasts, cake cutting, first dance). Sawyer was everything I had expected and more!

Sawyer absolutely showed up 110% for us at our wedding in the middle of a pandemic. He brought his own lights, helped keep the vibe of the party rolling and mingled with the vendors and guests so he felt like he was apart of our wedding just as much as the next person. We had a small 50 person wedding and Sawyer made sure that each and every person giving a speech had a mic, knew when they were going to speak and even prepared them long ahead of time that it was happening. Holy smokes, Sawyer created SUCH a fun, club-banger, EDM vibe at our wedding. It’s no secret that 2020 has been awkward for wedding planning, and after multiple venue changes and guest list decreases, we were just hoping for one incredible celebration together as we tied the knot. We didn’t want a standard “wedding playlist” for our dance floor, and we made that clear in the beginning. Sawyer played some of the best remixes of songs that had our guests talking for days! We even brought a wacky-wavy guy on the dance floor and Sawyer incorporated him into the whole party. Sawyer dj'ed our wedding and I could not have been more happy with the turn out. Getting married in July of 2020, there were a lot of restrictions due to COVID, which Sawyer was well-aware of and very transparent with us about. Leading up to our wedding, he really got to know and understand our music preferences and it totally showed during our wedding and reception which turned out to be a blast. Not only was the music and overall vibe "on point", but he did all he could to make it a great night to remember.

Sawyer was absolutely AMAZING! We got scammed by a “company” (NEVER USE PREMIER/FANTASTIC EVENTS!!!) that we had booked a DJ through and didn’t realize it until only a week before our wedding and so I started scrambling to try and find a legitimate DJ with very little time. Sawyer responded right away and made the whole planning process so fluid and easy. He did a phenomenal job at our wedding helping to organize everything and keep everything flowing seamlessly. He was professional, very skilled, personable and SO easy to work with! He also kept everyone out on the dance floor having a wonderful time up until the very last song. I have shot many weddings and no offense to other DJ's (there are obviously some good ones out there) but Sawyer is the only one I refer people to. As weird as it sounds, he has helped make my videos look more alive, as everyone feels the energy from Sawyer and he understands the flow of how the wedding is supposed to go and makes it happen with ease. Sawyer was so easy to work with. From the first call we were on the same page with how I was envisioning the wedding reception to go. He understood our taste in music (can’t beat tons of Michael Jackson mixed with what Sawyer felt would flow and be fun)!!! Every request I had he played and worked with. Sawyer offered some advice and suggestions as well which we appreciated. The wedding was wonderful!!!! If there was something that went “wrong” we were not aware of it. Sawyer introduced everyone and each toast perfectly. The music was just as we discussed with a few fun surprises! We were all dancing until the reception ended. Sawyer was very attentive to us during the reception and kept a good pace for the evening. We appreciated his connecting with us through the night so we knew what was next in the timeline and when. Overall, everyone had an amazing time! We are very grateful to Sawyer for his work and attention to detail! We had the best wedding!!!
