Where to begin? Naomi came recommended by a friend who had recently had a wedding, and we didn't even end up meeting anyone else - we knew from the questions she asked and her appr...
oach to planning in that first meeting that she and her team were the right event planners for our wedding.
While my husband and I are very proactive and had a vision, there was so much we just didn't know or didn't even realize we should be thinking about, and Naomi was incredibly generous with her time to walk us through what to expect at every phase, lay out the pros and cons of each choice we'd make, and map backwards from our timelines. We never felt lost or overwhelmed, and she is the sort of person who will make sure all of your questions are answered once you lay them out - she keeps meticulous track of your needs!
The day of was seamless - I have a hard time taking my "producer" hat off and being in the moment because I'm always worried about what could potentially go wrong, but she and her team were so on top of everything that I truly was able to not think ONCE about logistics and planning and I soaked up every ounce of joy during the big day. I had multiple friends come up and compliment me specifically on how on top of things she and her team were - she remembered every tiny detail we mapped out and made sure every vendor was up to spec on all of those details.
Lastly, her creative suggestions were totally ace. We weren't sure if anyone would totally get the vibe of our wedding (it was very retro and a little offbeat), but she immediately got it and was able to weigh in kindly with great direction about a few key items that totally paid off. She made our Saturday Night Fever disco dreams come true!
I truly could not say more amazing things about Naomi. Run, don't walk, to hire her for any event.
We worked with Naomi for our recent wedding (March 2024), and we had the best experience with her and her team! She worked with us for the last 3 months of planning and for the day...
-of coordination.Leading up to the wedding, Naomi was always well organized, quick to respond to emails, and knowledgeable about all wedding things. We felt at ease with Naomi at our meetings with our vendors in the month before the wedding. She knew all of the right questions to ask during the meetings with our venue, florist, and DJ. She always listened to our priorities and our wants, and all of her advice and suggestions were very welcomed and useful.Naomi was also on top of all the logistics for the day-of. She and her team took care of everything the day of our wedding, and my partner and I did not have to worry about a thing. Her team also helped set up the decor just as I envisioned it. The tablescapes and other decorations turned out perfect! Many of our guests complimented us after the wedding about how smoothly and seamlessly everything went. We have Naomi and her team to thank for that, and we are just so grateful to her.
Naomi's work at the lreception reflected excellent organizing skills. The service, the timing, and the coordination of the day's event were great. The reception was beautifully d...
ecorated, reflecting a welcoming ambiance. Her skill and efforts made the wedding memorable. Everyone had a great time. She was excellent in keeping us informed and up-to-date as the reception date approached. The budget, timelines, and coordination with the vendors were beneficial and allowed my family to minimize our concern and apprehension about such an undertaking.
The staff exhibited excellent work ethic-they were tireless and courteous in making our guests welcome. They reflected well on how well you and your company conducted their work. Many guests commented on how smoothly the reception was organized and asked for your name for reference.
Bride here- Naomi is AMAZING. She was so great to work with. I have a event producing background and wanted to be very hands on/lead certain parts of the design and planning of our...
day. I really appreciated how Naomi was able to create a wedding planning package just for us that had just what we needed since I would be doing some of the items a wedding planner may do for other clients.
First and foremost Naomi is really really good at what she does. She has an amazing eye and creative sensibility. I really appreciated her feedback and refinement to the design references I pulled together. She also has a top notch list of vendors to work with and they clearly love working with her. She gave us a full page of recommendations for each vendor type: florals, band, photography etc... and called out which ones she felt were in our wheel house and why. Every vendor we worked with was AMAZING! From there she was able to help us through all the steps of planning and made us the perfect timeline. She is so organized and always had all the information ready to go right away if we needed to discuss something.
We started working with Naomi right after we signed with our venue and it was so great to be have her and her team lead us through the planning and design processes and be the main point of contact for all vendors the weeks leading up to the wedding and the day of. They knew everything we were looking for and once we stopped reading emails and focusing on our wedding weekend we knew that Naomi and team had everything handled. Like any event they needed to make a few day of calls and Naomi knew exactly what our priorities were and made the perfect call without us even needing to know anything was happening.
Lastly, Naomi is just a joy to work with. She is so warm and full of joy and also concise and efficient when it comes to helping make decisions. Naomi made wedding planning much more seamless than I ever thought imaginable and I am so grateful to her for that. I highly recommend working with her if you can!
Groom here. Naomi and her team were incredible. During the planning process, her suggestions were fantastic and really helped streamline our experience. All of the vendors she recommended did an awesome job.
As for the wedding itself, from our day-of perspective it went off without a hitch. Any issues that did arise (they were relatively minor) were promptly handled by Naomi and the DNT Events team. They made sure that we, the bride and groom, were either unaware (so we could keep partying/being with our guests) or they gave us a quick synopsis and a recommendation for a solution (Ex. We were planning on doing a photo shoot with the full moon, but it was hazy and we were having fun with our guests, so they suggested we keep partying and to skip it. It was the right decision).
Additionally, they had our wedding planned down to the minute so they did a great job of keeping us on track and maximized our time for dancing and mingling with our guests.
In short, she and her team did a fantastic job! Would highly recommend!

Naomi and her team are the absolute best! They exceeded our expectations at every step of wedding planning process and execution.
Naomi was always proactive and clear about timeli...
ne, budgeting, vendors, design, and more. She gave thoughtful advice tailored to our desires, answered questions thoroughly, and offered to help with anything and everything wedding related.
We took Naomi's recommendations for most of our vendors, and they were all easy to work with, provided excellent quality, and were budget friendly.
We thought Naomi was probably one of the most organized people we had ever met while planning. Then, on the actual wedding day as we watched her manage a minute-by-minute schedule for multiple parties, vendor coordination, setup, details we'd never think of, multiple staff members, etc. with her color-coded clipboard binder thing full of back-up necessities inside... we realized Naomi is THE MOST organized person we know. To this day I am still in awe of how one person could have so much brainpower.
To add to that, Naomi always has such a positive attitude. She was so kind and patient with our wedding party (a group of people who always fail to follow directions and love to share their opinions... haha). Our families and friends were so impressed by her team and complimented the event tons.
Overall, Naomi made wedding planning enjoyable and the wedding day completely stress-free for us. The day was perfect, and we are so thankful! HIGHLY recommend having DNT take care your wedding!
Choosing our wedding coordinator was a huge decision for us. What if the personalities don’t match? Did we even need a planner? Is it worth the cost?
What if the personalities do...
n’t match? After just one meeting with Naomi I could tell that she exudes energy, positivity, and the most important factor: Get Shit Done (excuse my French). During the wedding, I was about as calm as a groom can possibly be, and Naomi had us on schedule every step of the way.
Did we even need a planner? Simply put, yes. There are so many details for a wedding day - where does this table go? What gets put on it, how do we arrange seating? Naomi had all of that covered. On our wedding day, I can think of only one part that didn’t go smoothly: we were short a few menu cards (I was in charge of printing and cutting them… whoops!) Naomi got me on the phone for 5 minutes and went over Plans A, B, C, and D to remediate. She also had contingencies for Plans A, B, C, and D. And contingencies on contingencies.
Was it worth the cost? Not only was DNT Events worth it for a well-run wedding, they put in so many hours before the wedding helping us negotiate with vendors. Be it some extra uplighting from our DJs, additional photobooth time, additional meals from our caterer, extra set up time at the venue, to even general price reductions, Naomi got us the results we didn’t even know we wanted.
To wrap things up - we had Naomi and Alyse help us on our wedding day, and multiple guests approached us throughout the night telling us how organized the wedding seemed. An odd word to describe a wedding, I’ll admit, but it just goes to show you how wonderful Naomi, Alyse and DNT Events were! I promise you won’t regret working with Naomi if you give them the opportunity!
Naomi and her team at DNT events are one of a kind and were crucial in our wedding planning process. From our initial conversation with Naomi, we immediately connected on what our ...
needs and what our vision was leading up to our wedding day and on our big day (we had interviewed a few other local wedding day coordinators as well).
I was a Type A bride and probably needed more assurance that we were working on the right things at the right time and needed extra advice on how to make our day that much more special for our guests. Naomi and her team have a wealth of knowledge and resources that helped make the planning process organized and as stress-free as possible, yet it still felt like our vision came to life. Naomi’s connections and relationships with trusted vendors was so helpful in ensuring everything that went into wedding was cohesive and handled in a timely matter.
We had a 20 month engagement and Naomi consistently helped keep us organized throughout that time via zoom calls, email touches, and in person meetings with our venue and vendors. One of my favorite attributes is we only had to tell Naomi something once and she remembered everything - even the smallest of details.
On our actual wedding day, Naomi and her team went above and beyond to make sure we, our wedding party, and our families were taken care of, checking in consistently to see if we needed anything and making sure everything and every detail was executed to perfection. We had complete confidence that Naomi and her team made sure the guests' experiences were top-tier. Our friends and family were raving about how wonderful Naomi and her team were and how hard they were working behind the scenes.
We can’t stress enough how invaluable Naomi and her team at DNT Events were to making the wedding of our dreams come true. And she will be invaluable to your wedding day too!
We had the perfect wedding, all thanks to Naomi's hard work, dedication, and attention to detail. She and her team at DNT didn't miss a single mark, and hit bullseye every time on...
our wedding. Things we took for granted, things we missed, she and her team had it all figured out and there were so many times we caught ourselves going "wow" on our wedding day, we were just in awe of the whole affair. Her vendors, her ideas, her communication, her style, everything about working with Naomi lead us to a perfect wedding and the best day of our lives. She can do the same for you, so hurry up and hire her!
Where do I even begin?!? If you are looking for a wedding coordinator and/or planner please do yourself a favor and HIRE DNT Elite Events! The team is fantastic and they know what...
they're doing when it comes to weddings/events.
Our wedding was supposed to be October 2020, but due to the world changing, we postponed our wedding to 2021. Naomi, made the postponement process easy for us. Throughout the process, if we had any questions or needed recommendations we knew we could reach out to Naomi. Naomi reached out to all our vendors to confirm the final details leading up to our event date. This really gave my now husband and I time to prepare our personal things like packing and running our last minute errands. We knew we didn't have to worry about anything regarding the big day.
On the day of, Naomi, Alyse and Melissa were so kind and attentive. With hiring DNT we knew we were in great hands. We were able to be present and enjoy our time with our friends and family.
We would recommend Naomi and her team to anyone getting married or having an event. Truly, we were so happy and couldn't have picked anyone better for making our day run so smoothly.

Your search for the perfect wedding planner is over--look no further and book Naomi now!
Whatever you had planned for your wedding, Naomi and her team will make EVERY part of the ...
process more fun, less stressful, and just better than you thought possible (or deserve). She'll find a way to help you get the wedding that you shouldn't be able to get on your budget, at your venue, with your vendors, etc....
She'll spot issues from a mile away and months in advance so there's NO possibility of something big blowing up in your face on your wedding day. But if you've already made a bad decision, she'll find ways to minimize the potential damage.
She'll keep your vendors honest and make sure you get that they deliver what you paid for (or she'll help you get your money back).
She spots money saving or value adding opportunities non-stop--we estimate that we got over $15K in direct savings and extra value, just from following Naomi's advice.
She's prepared for what-if scenarios you haven't even thought of. Ask her what she's had to deal with and you'll realize she can handle just about anything on your wedding day. Except if Chuck Norris shows up to settle a score, then you're out of luck. But that's about it.
After your wedding, you'll be wondering to yourself: How many puppies and babies have I saved in my past lives that we got to have Naomi as our wedding planner?
You'll feel underserving but you'd accept your good fortunes.
We were lucky to book Naomi. But she books up FAST and well in advance so don't miss out!

inator to handle our rehearsal and the event day so we could relax and just enjoy one of the most important days of our lives. That's exactly what we did, and Naomi and her team made it possible! We got ready in the morning, and Naomi made sure to check in with our Best Man and Maid of Honor (instead of bugging us) to confirm we were all together and on schedule.
The day flowed so nicely - we got ready, had our first look, went for couple and wedding party photos in DTLA, got back to prepare for ceremony, and got married!!! Then of course, partied and celebrated! Seriously the best day of our lives to marry each other, and DNT Elite Events really made sure we were taken care of. We couldn't have imagined our day without them! Naomi (lead coordinator) even had a mini handheld fan for me, which was great because I get hot VERY easily. She's soooo thoughtful and detailed - something I really appreciate since I'm in the industry myself and understand how important it is to be on top of things, especially on such an important day.
Prior to our wedding, Naomi made sure to review everything with me so that we were all on the same page. She knows all the right questions to ask, confirms everything with us and our vendors, and makes sure all is ready and set to go. She's great at what she does. She's super friendly, professional, honest, sweet and fun - she's the best!!!!
Our family and friends complimented on how everything was so great - from the music, to the food, to the service. My husband and I didn't have a care in the world that day, and we can't thank Naomi and DNTeam enough for making that possible! THANK YOU DNTeam!!!

helpful! I reached out to DNT and immediately got a response from Naomi Takahashi, who even through emails I could tell was warm and friendly. In our initial call, she let me know that she was already booked for another wedding on our date but that another option we could pursue was for her to plan the wedding and then to pass the baton for another DNT member to be the day-of coordinator. Based on our conversation and how comfortable I felt with her, we went for it!
So, about Naomi: let me just say that she is the sweetest and I had so much fun with her! She's very knowledgeable, had a great list of vendors, and was always on the hunt for creative and budget-friendly ways to achieve our vision! She constantly was poking vendors for discounts and got them about 90% of the time!
For our day/week-of coordinator, Naomi handed off all duties to Erica, and there was absolutely no missed communications or dropped balls. Erica and her day-of team were amazing - there when you needed them, but out of sight (and working hard) the rest of the time. I literally could not have done everything without them. I had the perfect wedding and I owe it all to DNT!! THANK YOU!! :)

ity. Naomi is very professional and has a wealth of knowledge in the wedding industry. Her creativity, organization, creativity and experience made a world of a difference in wedding planning. Naomi is very easy to work with listens to your ideas and the transpires that into a reality! During my wedding planning process, I didn't feel grounded and unsure if I had too many ideas and how they would all tie together, but after talking to Naomi, with her expertise, she grounded me and made me feel confident and well assured how I can tie all my ideas together. Not only does she have great professionalism, her connections in the wedding industry helped on cutting deals and saving money which I am sure all brides will appreciate! Finally, the day of my wedding, everything was so magical and the time, collaboration, and ideas came together! So many of my guest said "what a beautiful wedding" and "I haven't been to a wedding like this in a long time!" Naomi and her team were so great and I am so grateful to all of them to help me get the wedding of my dreams. Thank you Naomi and the DNT team! Please hire them, you will not regret it!!

wedding coordinator: professional, detail-oriented, organized, cool under pressure with a sense of humor, and flexible. She helped bring our wedding plans to life with great suggestions and invaluable experience. We hired her for the month before the wedding, but where she really excels is the week before and the day of the wedding. She helped tie up loose ends and then masterfully produced (it really is a huge production!) a wedding that our guests are still raving about a month later. She is firm but pleasant with vendors and helped us clarify issues with our contracts. I would wholeheartedly recommend DNT for any (not just wedding) event planning needs in the future!

m!
From the beginning she answered emails and phone calls immediately. She provided us with vendor lists and suggestions to help create the ideas ( and all the never-ending changes) we were constantly going through!
Honestly -- we could not have done it without her. She is an amazing person--and her team of girls at DNT ELITE EVENTS are incredible as well!! Professional, kind, helpful, hard working, knowledgable, and precise is how I would describe their work ethic and presentation. They could not possibly have done anything more for us on the wedding day than they did-- and everything was done so graciously! And---- --they are all beautiful on top of that!!
My husband (who has been in the food and beverage business for over 30 years - all over the U.S.)and I both felt that Naomi and her team were the "key" ingredient to the amazing wedding that our daughter had. Their competence level far exceeded any expectation I had or anything my husband has seen in his years of being in the business!
We are very thankful for her hard work and dedication in creating such a perfect wedding day and making it all happen so flawlessly!! Everyone had the best time ever!! Most importantly-- we were able to really take in the evening and enjoy everything without worrying about anything!
For anyone getting married in Southern California-- don't miss out on this extremely talented group of ladies who know their job and do it to perfection!

Naomi is the most wonderful event planner ever!!! She handled all my guests (including some demanding family members) with such poise and grace. She orchestrated all my vendors ( ...
i had to bring everything into the venue). I told her that i want to get married again in the future, just so i can work with her again! =D Yes, she's really that great. And her timeline... is amazing!
OMG! Naomi and her team are wonderful! She even spoon fed me my dinner during our wedding because she was afraid I was too busy socializing! Love her!!

le wedding planning. I decided way long ago that I wanted a wedding coordinator if I were ever to tie the knot. Just searching for one was so time consuming. so, let me save you brides some time and just go with DNT! I loved this most about Naomi, if I didn't know of an answer for something wedding planning related, I'd just look at her and she'd answer for me. It's like she already knew what I would want to answer. When you're planning, you kind of need someone like this or else you just get lost and distracted with all the details and choices. Naomi helped me find everything from the venue, photographers, flowers, chairs, etc. and everything in between. She's super organized too, which is a plus! On the wedding rehearsal, everyone kept saying how great DNT was with their organizational skills and everything. I felt it was little chaotic, but they handled it like professionals. On the wedding day, I was totally stress-free! I didn't have to think of one thing but just to get married to my hubby because I knew and was confident Naomi and her team would handle anything and everything should something go wrong. If we had to do it all over again, I'd def still choose DNT! Thank you Naomi and team DNT!
DNT helped to make my 200-guest Chinese 10-course wedding absolutely flawless. We were ahead of schedule and they thought of all the little things like tagging the gifts, standing ...
guard in front of the cupcake table when guests started getting grabby, working with the dj + Chinese lion dancers so that the dancing and announcements were well-choreographed. Naomi would ask me little questions here and there, but mostly just took care of it to make our day completely stress-free. Even all my hyper-critical older Chinese relatives remarked "wow your coordinator is amazing", "wow she thought of everything", "wow we are soooo organized!", "wow she's really great working with all of us". They called my wedding "magical", "perfect", "flawless". The best decision of the wedding was deciding to hire a coordinator, the second best decision was hiring DNT Events.
