Doggy Social or Doggy Social Weddings

I cannot recommend Doggy Social enough! After some issues with other vendors in my wedding who were the “budget” option aka no contract, I decided it was well worth the money to hire someone to handle my dog who I knew was going to show up! And I was not disappointed…the morning of the wedding, the person who was supposed to be my dog handler got sick, but never fear, a competent replacement with all of the pertinent information was ready to roll! My dog arrived on time, her handler was incredibly competent - like professional dog trainer competent- and her confidence handling my dog kept her calm. We got some absolutely amazing photos! This dog means the absolute world to me and having her be a part of my day in a way that was so well handled made my wedding day so enjoyable. And now we will get to cherish gorgeous photos of our WHOLE family on the best day of our lives forever!

I cannot recommend Doggy Social enough! I was not originally planning to have my dog at my wedding, but it was one of the best decisions I made!! Lara from Doggy Social immediately put me at ease and had extremely fair pricing relative to other vendors - she was responsive and kind and made sure that we had the best handler for our sweet Louis. Shannon who watched Louis was INCREDIBLE. She helped pose him in photos and ensure he didn't jump on any guests! It was such a sweet surprise when Shannon sent me many great photos of Louis at the venue that I never even knew she took (she did it completely without us asking). The Doggy Social team went above and beyond and I'll always be thankful they made it possible to have our sweet baby as part of our special day - if you're thinking about it, I HIGHLY recommend hiring them!

One of the most important pieces of my dream wedding was having our dogs in the ceremony. We love our dogs more than anything else and it would have been wrong without them there. I found Doggy Social's website TREMENDOUSLY helpful for planning on having our dogs in the wedding. Even if we hadn't gone through with working with DS, the site was wonderful. They have known dog-friendly venues listed and things to consider and more. I knew immediately I wanted to use DS for our wedding and I'm SO glad I did. I did not worry about our most important family members for a single second. The planning process was clear and easy, the pricing was reasonable in my opinion, and our attendants were incredible. The communication we got on our wedding day was fantastic. When I was pulled in 800 directions as the bride, I still knew our dogs were safe and cared for and would be absolutely fine until we got home- and they were. Our attendants were on time and very prepared. They helped with photos, made sure the dogs had breaks and even helped our nieces (the non-canine flower girl & ring bearer) practice walking down the aisle with the dogs while we were taking photos. I didn't think to do this step and my 4 year old niece told me the next day how glad she was she could practice so she could do a good job. Until she told me that, I didn't even know they had taken the time to do that. I was blown away by that attention paid that no one asked them to do. Our pictures were amazing, dogs were "dressed" and happy, and I got a photo of their snoozy faces after they got back home. Couldn't be happier with Doggy Social or with myself for making such a great choice!

We had Lara from Doggy Social at our wedding in Jan,2024 and I could not be happier with the decision. Lara was wonderful to communicate with and very thorough in the meetings leading up to the wedding. A month prior to the wedding, Lara made a house visit so Bailey could meet her which could not have gone better. Bailey (who can be timid around new people) just laid on the ground asking for belly rubs. The day of the wedding was so smooth with Lara attending to Bailey and ensuring she was cared for- it was truly a blessing to not have to worry about her. The best part was knowing Bailey was taken home after the wedding where her nightly routine was completed and then tucked into bed before Lara left. If you are interested in having your "furry" family member at your wedding, doggy social is the best investment to make sure it goes well.

I would hire Doggy Social over and over and over again!! We knew from the very beginning of wedding planning that our dog, Duncan, had to be at our wedding. When we found Doggy Social we just knew it was the perfect fit. I spoke with Lara on the phone first and you can just tell she loves her job! She was kind, professional, and so passionate about making sure Duncan would be safe and happy on wedding day. Our pet attendant, Shannon, completely blew our expectations out of the water. She cared for Duncan like he was her own. I cannot even tell you how at ease it feels knowing your pup is in good hands on such a big day. We had so many people come up to us and compliment us on her and for good reason!!

I'm so so happy we had Lara & Doggy social for our wedding!! I knew from the meet and greet when she immediately sat on the ground to pet Miko that he would be in great hands.My top priority after we got engaged was to make sure I could have my fur-baby be a part of the big day and I'm so happy we had doggy social there to help make sure he was taken care of. Lara walked Miko all over the venue for plenty of sniffing to get acquainted and to mark every tree at the venue (his fav). She did such a great job helping our photographer keep his attention, organizing the first look, and releasing him to run down the aisle! During our cocktail hour Lara walked Miko around to greet guests - so many guests said they loved this! Having Miko by my side meant the world and knowing that he was brought home safely with a tummy full of treats made the day even more perfect!Photo with Miko's new bestie <3

Lara and the Doggy Social team are AMAZING; you must book them NOW! I have two high-energy herding dogs, Benny and Jeter, and I am one of those dog moms with extremely high expectations over how they are cared for - they only ever go to "grandma's" house (even the mention of "grandma" gets one of my dogs to head tilt 90 degrees). When we started planning for our wedding, the anxiety set in over who was going to care for our two boys the day of the festivities. We were going to be away from home for 15 hours and all of our normal "go-tos" (aka, grandma) were going to be partaking in the wedding festivities with us - so who was going to watch our babies? I came across Doggy Social from the Urban Daisy (our wedding venue) website of "unique vendors" and from the first correspondence, everything was pawsome (as Lara would say). Maybe I'm overprotective, but I think our boys require special care given their herding tendencies - I wanted to be sure that whoever watched them understood their intensity, slight obsessions with people/toys/food, jumping, and sometimes legit herding. I wanted our boys to not only be cared for, but a part of our special day, and then tucked in for bed at night. Doggy Social went above and beyond in all of these! Lara and Annamarie picked our boys up from our house and brought them to our wedding venue where they let them sniff around to get comfortable with the venue before our “furst look”. With the photographer and videographers ready to go, they unleashed the boys and let them run to us - it was the most magical moment watching them mad-dash towards my husband and me. They used treats and squeaker toys to help them pose for photos and took them outside for walks and potty during downtime. Then it was ready for the big event. After I (the bride) finished walking down the aisle, it was the boys' turn. Lara and Annamarie let them loose once again as they ran towards us down the aisle and stood by our sides the entire ceremony with Lara and Annamarie close by in case they got too fidgety. They were able to hang out a bit more during cocktail before Lara took them back to our house for some more play, dinner, and snuggles. Lara made sure they were all tucked in for bed before heading out for the evening and even gave our kitty some love! As I mentioned, I have very high expectations over how my dogs are cared for. Anytime I saw Lara and Annamarie interacting with them I was blown away. They were so gentle and were able to guide them through a fairly chaotic day with lots of people moving about. Our wedding was a few weeks ago and we still get people commenting about how the dogs running down the aisle was one of their favorite parts of our wedding. We’ve gotten some sneak peek photos back and I am absolutely in love with the ones of our pups. I know they won’t be around forever, but I will be forever grateful they were a part of our big day in such an amazing way, all thanks to Doggy Social. Thank you! Doggy Social is amazing!! It was so nice to enjoy our big day while knowing our pups were being well taken care of. The pet attendants were so great with both of our dogs, who are quite a handful! They kept the dogs calm and had them where they needed to be throughout the day. I would highly recommend them as a great way to include your dogs in your big day!!

We cannot say enough good things about Doggy Social. Having our dog with us on our wedding day was a dream that Doggy Social made a reality. Shannon was very communicative at each step along the way. Our day of person was Owen, and he was such a joy to work with. We had a meeting in person the week before the weeding so Owen could meet our dog. They instantly got along well and we knew it would be a good match. Owen took exceptional care of our dog, and it was so nice to not worry about where our dog was, because we knew Owen had it all covered. Our dog was where he needed to be, both available for photos but also out of the way when needed. One of the best parts - Owen took a ton of behind the scenes photos for us, showing us the day from our dog's perspective AND they were one of the first photos I received the next day, giving us our first chance to start reliving the day. We would recommend Doggy Social over and over again!

Doggy Social exceeded our expectations! They made everything from beginning to end a breeze for us and our pup! Finding someone who we trusted to care for our pup the day of our wedding was extremely important to us. To say our pup Tito was thrilled is an understatement. Doggy Social was the best choice to have our fur babies with us on our special day! The amount of care and love our attendants gave to our pups was so special. 1000% would recommend to anyone who is as obsessed with their dogs as we are.

Lara was incredible! We knew our little noodle child was in perfect hands with her. She took care of him for about 9 hours and he loved her. She got him ready for our ceremony and pictures and made sure he looked amazing. Thank you so much Lara!

We had an awesome experience with Doggy Social! They were extremely helpful with getting our two dogs to and from daycare, making sure they were taken care of while we took all our pictures, and making sure they were able to play their big part in our ceremony flawlessly! We wouldn’t have been able to have the dogs in our big day without the massive help of Doggy Social! Their behind the scenes pictures were amazing too!

Doggy Social is truly amazing. From the beginning, they make sure to listen to exactly what you want and how you want your fur baby incorporated throughout the day. We had our pet attendant, Maddie, take care of our golden retriever. The second she walked through the door for her meet-up with our dog, she was so warm and extremely happy to hang out with him. For the day of the wedding, she was on time, she took our dog Jaxx on multiple walks, gave him snuggles, and sent texts updating us. She made sure he was fed and tired out before leaving for the night. Our dog absolutely LOVED Maddie, and so did we! She genuinely wanted us to have the perfect day all while making sure our dog felt like he was the star of the show (and he sure was!). My husband and I are beyond thankful to have had Doggy Social there to take care of our two dogs and have them be part of our special day. Laura and Annamarie took great care of them and I could tell they were having so much fun and were so happy to be there and celebrate our day with us. We were so happy when we found Doggy Social Wedding, because they offer services that allow for this without the hassle of us dealing with the dogs on such a busy day.
