My fiance bought my engagement ring at Dominion Jewelers, and we went back for our wedding bands. So happy with the service and the product - couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Go to Dominion for your wedding jewelry! Don't even bother looking anywhere else. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, selection immense and of high quality, and prices competitive. Our bands are beautiful! Dominion also customized my bridal earrings and necklace from other pieces of jewelry given to me by my parents over the years.

My husband and I bought our wedding bands and my engagement ring from Dominion Jewelers. We originally went to them because of their radio commercials. When we first met with them (to look at engagement rings), they were thorough in explaining how diamonds are graded and priced. My husband then came in later to buy my engagement ring, which they had ready in less than two weeks. Unfortunately, there was something wrong with my band, but they fixed it free of charge until it was right. We then bought our wedding bands from them, a short and simple appointment. We came to pick up the rings and they forgot to engrave them, but they did it on site while I waited. I would recommend as the service was nice and we both love our rings, but there was some headaches along the way due to the band and engraving.

Marsha is incredible. My husband had a wonderful experience with her designing my one-of-a-kind engagement ring, and I loved working with her for wedding bands. She is so friendly and really helpful. We loved that she made us feel like part of the "Dominion family." We know we'll be going back to her for anniversary jewelry in the future. (Hopefully many many times!)

I fell in love with my engagement ring immediately. It's has a very rare vintage look I haven't seen anywhere else.

My husband & I both got our wedding bands here after quite a bit of time spent looking online and in a few stores. The styles of rings they had in stock were great and we both found bands that we loved and were able to customize to get exactly what we wanted. Now, they aren't necessarily the cheapest around, BUT I think for jewelry you do get what you pay for, and we both didn't mind spending a bit more to get high quality pieces. And we now have these lovely, heirloom quality pieces that are perfect for us. Plus the staff was great to work with. We worked with Rachelle, who made the whole experience very pleasant. I'd highly recommend! We'll definitely shop here for future jewelry purchases.

Dominion Jewelers made my engagement ring and then both of our wedding bands. They recently moved to a new location, which is elegant and high class, and allows for much more private consultations, which was really nice during the wedding band process. My wedding band was custom made and they did a wonderful job at making sure it matched my engagement ring. All of the staff are very friendly and make sure that the experience is easy and enjoyable. We will definitely use Dominion again for future jewelery purchases. Love them!

My engagement ring has a filigree band and was bought from a different vendor. When we started looking for wedding bands we got a price estimate from the other jeweler for a matching filigree band. It was a bit higher than we wanted to pay so we decided to look elsewhere. We stopped in at Dominion by chance when looking for my husband's ring. He found quite a few that appealed to him. He really liked a braided white gold ring but it was a little pricey. I convinced him to splurge since it really is his only accessory and he loves it. While we were there we asked if they could make a ring to match my engagement ring. They said they could. The price was half as much as the other place and it matches perfectly.

When my husband and I started to think about getting engaged, he knew that I wanted something very specific for my engagement ring. There were about a zillion details that I knew I wanted, and I was the most obnoxiously picky person on the planet. Sergio made my two-tone gold, heart shaped amethyst surprise-stone, knife edge setting, antiqued style filigree with three PERFECTLY proportioned stones - dreams come to life. It was ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!! I absolutely love my ring, like, to the ends of the planet. It is the most gorgeous, perfect thing I've ever seen. It's so beautiful it distracts me sometimes. Then, as persnicketty as I was about the engagement ring, I was the polar opposite about the wedding ring. No idea what I wanted. i was completely over whelmed and confused. I made an appointment with Sergio to design it, and my plan was just to give him a bunch of "inspiration pictures" of rings that I liked, and tell him to work his fabulous magic. But when I got there for my appointment, he happened to be occupied, so i was just browsing in the display case, when BAM! i see the perfect wedding ring sitting right there in the case. I was scared it wouldn't look good with my custom-made engagement ring, but when he took i tout of the case, and put it together with my engagement ring, it was just perfect... totally meant to be. So I can vouch not only for their fantastic ability to make custom designed rings to very exacting specifications, but they also have lovely things in stock that are already made right there. I think my bridal set is the most beautiful, perfect thing on the planet, and I can't imagine having anything better!

My wonderful fiance designed my engagement ring himself. He is an engineer and familiar with CAD software, so it is not something I'd recommend for the novice. He was able to work with Marsha at Dominion to create his custom vintage-inspired design. For wedding rings, Marsha was extremely patient while we checked out all the rings and finally decided on a metals, finishes, clarities, etc. Our rings were ready in about 3 weeks, and we were able to split the payments. All in all a great experience and a very classy establishment!

My husband and I both got our wedding bands from Dominion. I went with 2 twisted rope rose gold bands, which I LOVE! I wanted something different that didn't necessarily match my engagement ring. They turned out beautifully!! My husband picked a tungsten band which was very reasonably priced! We will definitely go back for our future jewelry needs!

I purchased my husband’s wedding ring at Dominion Jewelers and we were very happy with the service. We showed them a picture of exactly what we wanted and Dominion produced the same exact thing, but for a significantly cheaper, reasonable price than the designer band it was based off of. The staff was very knowledgeable. Although we had to follow-up to figure out when it would be arriving, the band looked perfect and we’ve been very happy with it. The ring, nonetheless, is very large, and we’ve had to have it resized twice, so that was a bit frustrating. In the end, I will likely go back for additional jewelry in the future for the prices alone!

We had a great experience at Dominion Jewelers. The rings were exactly what we wanted and when there was a little miscommunication on the finish they took care of it right away. It was a big difference from the lackluster service we got from chain jewelers.

I can't claim to the be the one who found Dominion, since my now-husband went to them originally for my engagement ring. He was feeling a bit hopeless after visiting a couple of jewelers in our local Baltimore area. Upon my mom's recommendation (she'd heard about them on the radio), he visited Dominion and it was love at first sight. He had his grandmother's diamonds from her own engagement ring that he wanted to have reset, and he had a somewhat specific vision in mind. His words: "It was like they were inside my head." We worked with Rachelle, who was incredible. Not only is she kind and patient, she had wonderful ideas for how to make our vintage, inherited stones into rings (both engagement and wedding band) that are one-of-a-kind and absolutely perfect for me, just my style and taste. We also had my husband's band made there, based on a design they had on display but with some adjustments to make it ideal for him. Getting out to Virginia wasn't the easiest thing, but it was so worth the drive to wind up with rings that are so beautiful, so unique and so well made. I'd recommend Dominion to anyone and everyone--and I'd also recommend that you ask to work specifically with Rachelle. (Note the the cost I indicated is for all three rings.)

My husband bought both my engagement ring and the band from Dominion Jewelers. After telling me to "put my feelers out" to see what I liked, I got really flustered because I couldn't find anything that fit the role of the "perfect ring." I wanted an estate ring... something antique looking, and I had a hard time finding the one that fit my tastes. My husband surprised me by taking me to Dominion to an appointment that he had set up- when I got there... I was told that I was going to design the ring. Interjection: CAROL KUBE IS AMAZING. Carol helped me pick out the perfect band... the perfect diamond to fit the band... and even gave my ring a special touch- my husbands initials and my initials are in either side of the ring... not engraved... but built into the ring. A few months later, my husband took me back to have the band custom fitted to match my ring and fit the somewhat difficult/odd shape. I will stand by Dominion- they are really (shockingly) affordable... and you get the diamond that you want. My husband and I were really struggeling with the discussion of prices- estate rings don't come cheap- but we were well under budget for a ring that well surpassed my expectations. I cried when he proposed... because the ring was just so dang beautiful.

I spent a long time looking for my wedding ring, and this was actually one of the first places I looked at. I ended up coming back two other times before finally making the plunge on the first ring I ever tried on. It was just too perfect, exquisitely made, and different from any others I saw. The first times around, the customer service during the sales experience was just great. They were nice, not pushy, and simply stated their prices and answered any questions we had about the jewelry. I bought my ring, and they were able to turn the order around within 2 weeks (maybe less). I have my ring now, and it's beautiful, but I will say that the experience after I ordered the ring was a bit frustrating. I was getting down to the wire, which was partially my fault because I waited until the last minute, but they were willing to work with me, said they would get it done, and did get it done. The frustrating part was that the few times I called to try to get communication on whether or not it was going to be ready, I left messages that were not returned. I had to call several times, and wanted to make sure my ring was ready before driving through traffic and taking off work (since they keep regular working hours, which is not convenient if you work those too!) to pick it up. After getting confirmation, I got stuck in traffic en route to picking it up and they were kind enough to wait an additional 15 minutes so I could pick it up. They said they had taken a picture and weighed the ring for an appraisal and would send it to me. I had to wait 3 weeks afterward (and go on my honeymoon with an uninsured ring) before I finally bugged them a third time and finally received my appraisal. In summary, the end results were dazzling, and I had a great experience picking it out, but I wish that the end of sale experience was consistently great, and it wasn't. All told, I would go back to them again though, because they really have the most beautiful and unique new jewelry I've seen in the DC metro area at relatively reasonable prices.

My husband got me a custom engagement ring from Dominion Jewelers. It is exactly what I wanted and they worked with his budget! No haggling, and no pressure to buy a different ring out of his price range. I was so pleased that I went back and got his wedding band made there. We will be using them in the future. :)

Our rings are amazing and the best part is that they're totally custom and exactly what we wanted. My engagement ring appraises for far more than I paid for it. The only thing here is that you can't be in too much of a hurry. We got really down to the wire with the engagement ring because he wanted to propose on our trip to Hawaii and it almost wasn't done. Just give them plenty of time and call to check in. Amazing, beautiful work!

Rachelle was excellent in helping us design custom wedding bands. Their service was great and we'll be back again!

My husband (boyfriend at the time) purchased my engagement ring at Dominion Jewelers (working with Rachelle) and because he was so pleased with the service and I was so thrilled with the look of my engagement ring, we went back for my wedding band. The combination of the two are just amazing (the ring settings are gorgeous and the diamonds are so sparkly!) and because they were designed specifically for me, they are completely unique. We were both so pleased with our service and the products at Dominion, we ended up buying our wedding presents for each other there too (beautiful Movado watches!)

My husband had gone to Dominion Jewelers to design my engagement ring so when it was time to pick out the wedding bands we went back. They did a great job helping me find something to match my engagement ring and were very patient with my husband as he tried to figure out what type of ring he would be willing to wear for the rest of his life =) The rings are beautiful and I thought they were very fairly priced.

I cant say enough good things about dominion Jewlers. Esp Rachelle. She was amazing. My husband got my ring in NYC and it was beautiful, however it was set very low. We went to 20 different jewelry stores to try and find a weddng band, with no luck, Nothing fit flush with my ring. We then went to Dominion. With in five mins. Rachelle knew how we should re-set the ring, not only to make a band sit flush, but also to make my diamond look even better. After seeing what a grerat job they did, we had rings made for myself and my husband and they are perfect. In addition i bought a watch for him as a wedding gift, which he also loves. They cleaned my ring everytime i saw them. Great service and i thought very fair prices. Beautiful workmanship. They will be our jewelers for life!! Sherrie

We met with Sergio Rojas who sat down with us and patiently went through the diamond's 4 Cs. He priced different options out for us to help make the best decision of what we were looking for within our price range. He also helped design the band and made suggestions of what might look nice (or what to leave out). In the end, we could not be happier with our bands and will go back to Dominion for every piece of jewelry we buy from here on out!

I love my husband's wedding band- it's unique without being too over-the-top. The people at Dominion were so patient with us. Expensive, but beautiful stuff.

My finance had been burned at another jeweler with a false appraisal and went to Dominion after that experience on a recommendation from a co-worker. I was blown away with the beauty of the ring they helped him design and their customer service is top-notch. They did a beautiful job updating my ring with sapphires and creating my wedding band to match my engagement ring. This family owned and operated business is first-class, and their staff is more than helpful and wonderful artisans. They will be our jeweler for life.

We went to Marsha at Dominion Jewelers on the recommendation of a friend for our wedding bands. I really wasn't certain what I was looking for and needed time to make a decision. Not only was Marsha willing to work with us on the price, but she let us wear the rings we were looking at while we went out to lunch to make our decision. Even though I ended up going with a plain band instead of the more expensive diamond band, the service was great. We both love our rings.
