st to set up on Friday – one less thing to worry about on your wedding day! Becky and her staff do take the time to take care of our guests! We always do our best to make your day everything you have dreamed of – especially in your case -- where one week before your celebration, because of a family circumstance, we accommodated your request to postpone your wedding and reception from the planned date of August 4, 2018 to January 19, 2019 without cost to you. Chef Mike and his staff never disappoint when it comes to the food offerings! They consistently get high marks on all the foods they prepare. Honey Pecan Chicken is one of my favorites as well! I am sorry about the misunderstanding of the incident between the children and the banquet coordinator. Becky was stern with the children, but not for having too much fun; instead for ripping apart the bouquets and throwing the petals around the hall and dancefloor during the reception. Becky spoke with you at the end of the reception about the incident, and you indicated that it was fine that she put an end to it. If there is more to the story, please call me directly at 440.235.2646 x 100. The weather sure did make everything look beautiful, but a storm of that magnitude cannot be controlled. (We were very happy ALL our staff were able to make it to work despite Harper!) We did have the parking lot plowed three times during your event, and our staff continued to clear the walkways by shoveling and throwing down salt. I am so sorry to hear that some of your guests and even your new husband slipped and fell despite our efforts! Unfortunately, when your husband inquired at the beginning of the event about leaving band equipment at the venue because you had all arrived in a hired vehicle and were going to Uber/Lyft home, Becky had to turn him down for a variety of reasons including the fact that we had another event scheduled to be in the same space the next morning and space was an issue as we already had agreed to let your decorator leave their things until early the following week. Of course liability is an issue as well. When the same request was made again at the end of the evening, our reasons for denying it had not changed. Our banquet coordinator, Becky, is a sympathetic person, but must make decisions throughout an event and cannot accommodate every request. In your case, she was able to accommodate many requests including the request that your ceremony altar which was provided by an outside vendor be moved right after the ceremony by our staff and then again before our Sunday event, even though she knew nothing about it until the days before the wedding. She also was able to supply you with flower petals at no charge for your flower girls to drop because yours were forgotten at home. In another example, she was able to stay until 2:00 a.m. when the last of your guests and wedding party were picked up two hours after your reception ended.
