Con 1.We had a secondary photographer with our package. He showed up alone, informing me, the day of my wedding, the second quit 2 weeks before. He didn’t notify me & a replacement wasn’t with him. I was stressed, in the middle of getting ready. I called my photographer friend, who was going to be attending, handed him the phone & asked him to figure it out. He originally got equipment that would be set up to take different shots from a set location, but that was not the same as a second shooter to me. He got another shooter there after the fact. It wasn’t professional to do that, added unnecessary stress & put me in an uncomfortable position. Indifferences 1. His turnaround time is 8-10 weeks. We got one sneak peak the day after. 8 weeks rolled around, I reached out & he said about a week. 10 weeks came & I reached out, he was working on them & would have them to me by Sun. Mon he informed me he had travel & will get it to me by the evening. I’m a patient person, so I get things come up. I think an additional sneak peak would’ve been nice! 2. After the wedding, he asked if he could share my bridals on his pages, but I hadn’t received or seen them. He said he sent it a week or 2 before, he’d resend them. Turns out it was a glitch. I wish he’d verify that he sent the galleries so there is no risk of being missed. 3. I asked about getting specific photos while planning, he mentioned a shot list he’d send me to direct him on shots I wanted. He sent me what seemed to be general wedding information form & didn’t ask for specific shots. Seeing everything he got, he did not miss much, but it would’ve been nice for reference because when he got there he asked if there was anything in particular I wanted. I was in the middle of hair & did my best to direct him. We did miss a few things & I feel as if the shot list or at least better communication at a better time could’ve helped. Pros 1.First being obvious, his work is beautiful! He adds a flair of artist creativity along with classic ambiance. I’ve gotten nothing but compliments on how lovely his photos are & I’m love them. 2.He had a package with a deal including 2 shooters, bridals, an engagement shoot, an album & canvas. The price was really good for his incredible skill set & everything included. 3.He never denied us! If we had an idea, he was open to try it or break down an option to capture the look. 4.We ended our wedding early to get ice cream; he was flexible & went with us to get more photos. 5.I had my Polaroid & he took photos with it as I requested. It was a very personal touch which he was happy to accommodate. 6.We had over 800 photos from the wedding, 30ish bridals & 80 engagement. 7. For some reason the canvas was not being delivered, after 6 months of waiting he found a solution, offered an apology with a kind bonus to mend the unexpected delays. He went the extra mile which is so generous. I don’t want to let the hiccups I had repeat for another couple. I read reviews before signing our contract & decided to work with him because the good reviews outweighed the bad & his work spoke volumes. At the end of the day, they still do. He was a great photographer with great results, & I’m very happy. I hope this review helps you decide and DW grow!

Double Windsor was suggest by a couple friends and I didn't hesitate because I've seen their work. Engagement photos, bridals and day of all came out great. Communication was great so scheduling and coordination was very easy. All in all, not only professional, fun to work with. I'm not great in front of a camera but I was relaxed the whole time and we had a lot of fun. Day of went well, we moved quickly, efficiently and got to the party. I wouldn't hesitate to suggest Double Windsor to friends because of their value, and with everything going on, photography was the least of my worries

I've loved both my bridal and my engagement session with David. He knows how to get the perfect shot, and he's very quick and professional with shoots. My sneak peak for the wedding looks gorgeous, and I can't wait to see the entire gallery.

I can’t rave enough about David. I saw his photos online and fell in love with his style, so I knew he would be a good choice, but he completely exceeded my expectations. David did more than give us photos. It's easy for a bride to get hung up on aesthetics with how social media can be... David really listened to what was most important to me: he captured our life and love totally in motion. It's obvious he can conduct a beautifully poised portrait for the couples that desire them and create moody, romantic atmosphere if asked of him.... He can also run behind you, never taking you out of your moments and capture your wedding exactly for what it is and who you are. That's what I wanted. Davis is an excellent listener, and his ability to find those amazing moments without taking me or my loved ones out of it, is truly a talent. It actually shows how unselfish of a professional he is. I couldn't be more proud of my album or my decision to work with David.

The photos were gorgeous and not your stereotypical wedding photos. He was very easy to work with and easily reachable by text. David is absolutely amazing at his job! He is a solo photographer, but trust me that doesn’t stop him from getting the most amazing pictures to capture your day. He is very friendly and comforting. Someone that you just feel so comfortable with on your wedding day and feel like you have been friends with him forever. He will make sure you look like a super model in your pictures even if you don’t know how to act in front of a camera (like I). He is efficient in getting the post ceremony family pictures done quick and beautifully. He also is quick to get your final pictures done and will send you his top pictures the day of so you have a few to post on social media the day after. I 100% recommend him for your wedding festivities as well as any special event. He will be my family photographer from now on!

David is phenomenal! He was the photographer for my best friends wedding and I adored his work so much that I knew I had to get him for mine when it was time . I love his eye for great shots in great areas. He worked with me to get as many photos in every area that I could possibly think of. All of the photos came out high-quality. So planning a wedding during a pandemic was very stressful. I honestly cannot say enough about David...where to begin! Right from the start, David was so easy to get along with and immediately jumped in headfirst to give us the best experience possible. He helped us to get comfortable in front of the camera and helped us capture beautiful, natural pictures of us just being...us! Even with all the changes that resulted from the COVID-19 pandemic, David worked with us to make sure he was there for us on the day. Through 90+ degree weather, venue stress, and everything else, seeing David there and having him calm us both down made the day even easier. He made our guests feel comfortable, captured the most beautiful candid pictures, and felt like a part of the family. David, thank you so much for making this experience a once-in-a-lifetime! The quality of our photos were equally as wonderful as the quality of our experience with David and for that, we are eternally grateful! We will definitely work with him again in the future when we need a photographer (and I don't know that we could find another that we trust as much as David...if we ever move, I guess we'll just have to fly him out!) What can I say? We were so lucky to have David be an integral part of our wedding journey. I found his information through the knot and after very quick communication, decided to book with him. Something about the quick replies and patience with which he answered my milliins of questions told me he would be great! He took STUNNING engagement photos, was super accommodating with short notice; couldn't believe it! He was very communicative and I rarely had to wait more than a few minutes for a return text or email. In the days (literally days) leading up to our wedding, I asked if he knew a videographer, just looking for a recommendation and he blew me away by not only suggesting someone, but contacting them and negotiating on our behalf!! We were blown away. In person, he is personable and goofy without sacrificing professionalism. My husband and I felt really comfortable with David and felt like we could really relax with him; I think it shows in the out-of-this world photos we received. I cried when I got them and have looked at them EVERY SINGLE DAY since then. I can't believe how beautiful they are and will surely treasure them forever! One of the best decisions if our wedding was booking David!

David was fantastic! After countless hours of searching for the perfect photographer for our wedding, we decided to hire David and we are beyond impressed! My bridal and wedding photos are perfect! I ended up having to take my bridal photos the week before my wedding due to issues with my dress alteration, but David made it happen and had my photos to me well before the big day. On our wedding day David got every shot we asked for and handled all of the small details that I didn't even think to request. Not only did he make the whole process stress free, but he also had our photos back to us much faster than I expected. I could not be happier with how everything turned out and I highly recommend hiring David for your big day!

Very disappointing! First off he accidentally double booked the date with another wedding. He gave us the option to switch to an associate of his which only added needless stress but we ended up keeping him. :( Bridal pictures were fine but he had zero personality which made us uncomfortable during the shoot. Wedding pictures were extremely disappointing!!! The church pictures came out with a yellow tint. No pictures of our family together at our home. None of Father and bride at home. No pictures of one of the readers, the harpist, or musicians at church. We has a limo bus for the wedding party to the church and reception... absolutely no pictures of it or anyone on it or the bride and groom exiting at the reception. This was a awesome memory but unfortunately that’s all it is now. At the reception picture colors were more realistic but no pictures were taken in one of the 3 rooms of guest ; So my son-in-laws family and guest were completely omitted from candid shots. All of this is difficult to comprehend because I paid for a second shooter. The sad thing is this was a perfect day that we cannot ever relive and my daughters wedding pictures do not reflect that.

Our dear friends used David for their wedding in 2015 and based off of their pictures, as well as his work since, along with his personality, I knew he was the right fit for our special journey. David did our engagements, my bridals, and our wedding photos and we loved them all. He was extremely easy to work with, listened to our ideas, and had a lot of great advice for us to ensure we ended up with so many amazing pictures it makes it hard to choose any true favorites. I am a VERY picky gal and I was more than satisfied with the photos that were taken for my engagements, bridals, and wedding. David does not miss an opportunity to take an outstanding photo & quite frankly, he’s not scared to get down and dirty to get a good shot. One example of this is on my wedding day. David took the “ Champagne pop” photo, as I requested. Well the champagne popped quicker than I expected and I saturated Davis and all of his camera/ equipment with Champagne. My wedding day probably would have fallen apart if David hadn't been our photographer. We got married right in the middle of hurricane barry and David made the most of it. He had a great attitude the whole time and never once made me feel guilty about still having my wedding despite the conditions. He fit in perfectly with our group and did a fantastic job getting amazing shots I never even would have thought of. David went above and beyond what I expected and I am so grateful for his awesomeness and willingness to be there for his bride!

So first off David was fun to work with and we got some nice pictures from our wedding. However do not expect one ounce of effort once you get your images. When i booked it was on him being able to do certain composite pictures that i wanted. He agreed to it and even took the images and told em more then once that it was being worked on. I've almost been married a year and he no longer responds to my emails or facebook messages. I feel like it was very unprofessional of him to commit and then never deliver. I told him several times if it cost more that i would pay for it as it was something we really wanted! Some of my images did not have much editing, large wrinkles on my dress left in or bits of hair obscuring my face. Very frustrated and disappointed.

Double Windsor and David Morris are awesome! He is an incredibly talented photographer and fun to work with. I have done engagement photos, a bridal session and a boudoir session with him and the pictures are stunning. He will be shooting our wedding next week and I can't wait!

From a stereotypical frazzled bride to another—I HIGHLY recommend David at Double Windsor Photography. Photography is one the most important elements of a wedding, so the photographer you choose is a crucial and tough decision. I’d like to point out—I am no model—but working with David made me feel like one. And let me tell you, I am one awkward girl when it comes to posing for a camera. He shot my bridals as well as the wedding. Through both occasions, he went out of his way to make me feel comfortable and confident and beautiful. Before the wedding, my limited knowledge of photography was based on Pinterest photos that I thought were pretty. By the time I was ready to take my bridals I was worn down and stressed over wedding planning. My ideas and thoughts were all over the place. David and I discussed what I was looking for (I gave him a very vague description) and he brought my ideas to life. He knew the perfect angles and poses for my dress and location. He worked the lighting to our advantage. He took my every request and made it bigger and better with his creative intuition. David captured our wedding on October 8th, 2016. And I am beyond grateful for his professionalism and shear talent. Not only was he an amazing photographer with a great eye for shots, he also helped to keep everything on schedule with his phenomenal time management skills! He was kind, courteous, and fun! David was amazing! He kept me looking great all night and took some of the best photos I have of myself. I could not have asked for a better photographer. David Morris fit right in with all of us, so he made it fun for us not too staged or rigid. He was able to get the formal group pictures and family pictures done quickly. He has a great knowledge of what pictures are must haves and makes it easy. Our pictures came out amazing from the time of getting ready until the end of the reception. Next time I need a photographer he will be the first person I call.
