Finding a wedding venue is probably one of the most important decisions you must make when planning your wedding. Try planning a destination wedding in Florida while living in Vermont. I had to rely on reviews and photos to make our decision as we were unable to fly to Florida for every detail. I came across the DoubleTree in North Reddington with amazing ocean views, plenty of room for our out-of-state guests to stay, and from what the reviews said, a wonderful wedding venue. Upon communicating with Maire, I knew this is where we were going to have our wedding. Marie was kind, caring, thoughtful, and efficient. Even though she was helping many other brides, she made me feel like I was important, my wedding was important, and would do anything she could to help. After what felt like a hundred emails of defining details, it was our wedding day. She ensured everything went off without a hitch. Guests were thrilled, well-fed, treated with kindness, and loved our wedding venue at the DoubleTree. I credit so much of the success of our wedding to Marie. She truly makes the experience seem like a breeze. Marie, I can not thank you enough for the peace of mind and kindness you showed me along with your staff. If you were like me and looking for an oceanfront wedding venue, please look no further. With Marie leading her team, you will have a wonderful and enjoyable wedding day!

We had a very small intimate wedding and reception and it was all perfect. Marie and Deby were wonderful. I wish I knew the server's name during the cocktail hour and reception because she was so attentive and amazing.

We were SO lucky to have such an amazing ceremony and reception at the doubletree. We planned a destination wedding in 6 months and it couldn’t have been more perfect. First of all, let me say that Marie was amazing to us and helped us get everything we wanted from the venue. She was very responsive and attentive to details for us. We had an evening ceremony on the beach (which was nerve wracking since a hurricane came through that week!!) We decided to supply most of our decorations, but the venue had plenty of decorations to use! We dropped everything off and the staff did an amazing job placing everything in the right spot! The food was amazing and the buffet was a perfect choice for our guests! Another amazing perk of this venue is the choice of their vendor list! We did hire a photographer from out of town, but we used a recommended officiant (Calvin McIlroy), baker (Chantilly Cakes), florist (Steven Russell), hair & makeup for bridal party (MJ Richards), videographer (Fairytale Productions) and DJ service (Expert Productions). They were all amazing! The whole day felt like a dream and I cannot recommend it enough! Book the Doubletree!!

We just so happened to stumble across the Double Tree on a recommendation when we were looking for locations on the beach for our destination wedding. We had a list of 10 places that were ranked high on popular wedding sites to look at. We checked them all out and really didn’t fall in love with any or found they were not able or willing to accommodate a smaller wedding of around 30 people. We decided to just check out the Double Tree for the heck of it and we are SO glad we did!! We met with Marie who was our go to through out the entire process, and we hit it off right away. She was super informative from the beginning, and always had an open line of communication during the entire process. She never put and pressure on us, always available to talk through things, she made this entire process as seamless as can be. We then were faced with the challenge of pick our vendors. They offer packages that provide you with all the vendors you need, (Cake, Flowers, DJ, Photographer) as well as Officiant. Being 1,000 miles away and having met Marie and trusting her recommendations we went with all the preferred vendors and are glad we did! The Flowers from 2 Birds Events were gorgeous. They were so easy to work with the entire time and super patient with our indecisiveness! Everyone wanted to take home the flowers, they were exceptional! Cherish our officiant was awesome. Personable and really helped lighten the mood and put a few laughs on everyone face during the ceremony, which helped relax everyone. She was outstanding and happy that she was apart of our special day. Josh our DJ from Expert Productions was just SPOT ON for all of the song. We chose a few but found it difficult to fill the entire times work of songs. He filled everything in perfect, we had family members cutting a rug, that I never seen dance before! Everything was perfect! Roger from CCS did our photography I can’t say enough about. The only thing we can take away from our wedding, besides for each other, is the memories and that comes with photography. We both agreed what that was the most important part of the wedding. We loved the work they did, so this wasn’t a difficult choice and after meeting Roger, that faith we had in all Marie’s recommendations were confirmed. All the pictures we took went from classic, elegant, unique, and fun. Not only were the pictures gorgeous but we had a blast taking them all! With the sun setting, timing on these pictures was everything and he didn’t miss a beat. There is not one thing I would have changed from this day. I would recommend not only this location but all the vendors that come along with them. The banquet staff was super fun and friendly as well, which just added to the fun we had! We have 0 “what if” or “I wish we would have” after we left. This day was truly done so smooth and seamless and we can’t thank Marie and everyone involved enough for making the wedding of our dreams a reality.

Beautiful place for a beach wedding! The event coordinator, Marie, is top notch and the absolute best! All of the staff made us feel very special and made sure everything was taken care of so we could fully enjoy our day!

Even with a storm our wedding was perfect, thanks to Marie and her staff. This venue was perfect for our 33 guest. I can't tell you enough how professional and caring Marie is. She communicated well during the entire process, she was attentive and made sure everything went as planned. Thank you.

Wow! I'm so impressed! We had a beach wedding and indoor/balcony reception for 75 people. Having Marie was like having a wedding planner included! Her and her staff took care of everything I asked for. Fantastic customer service all around! Debbie set up and broke down everything for me on the day of. She even added little things beyond my requests! Additionally, the chef was able to create an entirely vegan buffet! It was his first time cooking a 100% vegan event and he nailed it! You seriously cannot beat the view from this hotel. It's a world class beach without all the rowdy party kids. Plus having the reception right there along with a restaurant, tiki bar, and heated pool was perfect! Thank you!

This was our destination wedding and reviews we’re extremely important along with the resort’s customer values. We made a great choice by choosing this resort and best of all we had the opportunity to work with Marie Molina who was truly an amazing person to work with. She took care of all my concerns and was always quick to respond. We had a vision for our dream wedding and Marie was more than willing to help out on our every need along with her coworkers. Debbie who also had to reassure my fiancé that every need would be taken care of did a great job. The customer was exceptional and clean. We literally supplied all the décor for our vision to come true but this would not have been possible without an amazing team. From one bride to another I highly advice that you consider booking your wedding at The DoubleTree Beach Resort.

My daughter got married here. It was perfect. I decided to use the same place for my wedding. It was wonderfull! The staff, accommodations, food, everything was first-rate.

My husband and I were extremely excited when we found this resort. We wanted a place that our family can come to, drop their bags in their room and not have to worry about anything. The planning process(about 14months) with the Banquest Mgr Marie was wonderful. Very detailed oriented, very caring, really felt that you were in good hands. Unfortunately Marie was on vacation during our wedding(which she completely deserves) and her staff completely fell short in all aspects of our wedding. My final walk through with Marie went great. She had her asst, Kay, and their head Bqt server Ryan sit in on the meeting. I origanaly had a day of coordinator hired and after the meeting with all 3 of them, they assured me that it would a waste of money and they would take care of everything. Considering the detailed notes and diagrams for setup and how thorough this meeting was, I was confident that they were right and I let them do everything. I was COMPLETELY WRONG. I was told that Kay would be at the event all night, -saw her 1 time and thats when I was walking down the aisle, otherwise no interaction with her whatsoever, was she there? They were detailed notes about the ceremony setup, (ie- chairs for our violinists and guitar, sand ceremony table, a memorial table for my grandparents) none of this was done. Also particualr details that were noted were not done. Our musicians were told by Marie that they would have an electric cord for them and when our Musician asked Ryan for it, he was rude and said don't you have one. Our forever frame was not setup (tablewas, no frame)& the memorial table and I specifically went over this with Ryan and Kay the night before at the rehearsal and they assured me they were taking care of everything. Needless to say lack of attention to detail caused a chain reaction for our ceremony because our pastor had to skip parts. Very embarrasing. When we tried to do the sand ceremony, our photographer asked Kay for something to pour sand in & her response was what do you want me to do about it. Really? Give us a coffee cup, something to impervise. After the ceremony, we had a very specific timeline to follow and I found myself running my own wedding. Did these people have a meeting to go over the timeline? I had to tell the staff, its time to do our entrance, its time for dinner, its time for cake, you need to move our table now. It was extremely frustrating. Where was Kay? Where was Ryan? Saw him a couple times and it was him walking by and giving a thumbs up. We had two older female servers working our party, they were rude esp when it was time for cake. They told me it was the DJs responsibility to tell them that. EXCUSE ME??? He is a vendor, not an employee of the Doubletree. Besides, why wasn't our timeline followed? The courtesy and professionalism was extremely disappoining. I can go on forever but in the end THEY MADE ME CRY ON MY WEDDING DAY!!!! the saddest part is I believe in my heart that if Marie was there, none of this would have happened. Being in this industry, I was truly appalled by the lack of aggressive hospitality of their banquet staff, esp when they are backed by Hilton standards. The front desk staff was wonderful, except the overnight manager that threaten us. (still havent received an apology)I have so more to say, but I have no room to write. Ultimately think twice before you choose this venue

The hotel is clean & comfortable! The food is superb! The location’s perfect! Sunset views are spectacular & THE STAFF IS THE BEST, THE WEDDING PLANNER, MARIE MOLINA, IS TERRIFIC! We picked this hotel because of our personal experience with their excellent hospitality. Every aspect of our wedding planning went smoothly. Marie’s highly efficient, friendly & organized. We're extremely grateful. I certainly didn't expect planning a wedding long distance could go so well. There're absolutely no glitches on our wedding day. We're relaxed & enjoyed every moment o b/c every detail was taken care of. She coordinated all in the most courteous way. From the beginning, she provided a list of various vendors, scheduled the tasting (by the way the food is delicious!), provided expert advice when needed but never argued or pushed her own agenda. She helped make our wedding truly ours & she paid attention to every detail. Best of all, we get to come back on our anniversary & relish the memories of a great beginning. Our wedding location is one we get to share for the rest of our lives! While Marie’ll always be very special to us, we cannot forget to mention how great the rest of the team is. The concierge was always ready to assist our guests, the housekeepers were great, the servers were very hospitable & the front desk staff very efficient. They all do their jobs efficiently & go above & beyond, but most importantly, they do it with the friendliest & most cheerful attitude we have ever found. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful & perfect! Everyone had nothing but great things to say & many of the guests, including the minister, commented that “this was the most organized wedding we have ever been a part of, we had a great time!” We highly recommend this hotel as a couple’s getaway, family vacation spot, & as the ideal destination for an unforgettable wedding! Kudos to Marie & the rest of the staff! Keep up the good work! See you next summer!

I can't begin to tell of all the wonderful things about this place. You would of thought I was a princess bride the Marie catered to me!!! No matter what I asked, Marie made sure it happened. We actually live on the east coast of Florida so all of the planning was done remotely and never once did I have to worry. The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting and the food was superb! My only concern was my guest list kept growing and I wasn't sure if the Sunset room would hold everyone. Well Marie made it happen and in a way that room still looked beautiful. Most of our guests (90%) flew in from another location. The staff treated everyone wonderfully. If you are wanting to give your quests welcome bags, you may want to hand them out yourself as not everyone got theirs. That is so minor compared to everything else though. I would definitely go back and spend a weekend there to relax :)

I can't say enough about my experience with the Doubletree Beach Resort and the coordinator there, Marie Molina. Marie was awesome! She was extremely helpful and always got back to me promptly along the way. The rest of the staff at the Doubletree was very professional and helpful as well. We had the perfect beach wedding and I highly recommend this venue. I have absolutely no complaints.
