This is our 3rd family wedding there but 1st for my daughter and son in law. From the minute we booked our rooms to until we checked out, the service we received was white glove first class! The responsiveness from everyone we dealt was with prompt, polite and professional. From the Sales and Event staff, front desk, bar/restaurant, and housekeeping all I heard was yes sir, my pleasure, we got you! From the bridal shower, to the rooms, the outdoor ceremony space and most importantly the wonderful staff, the Double Tree in Bay City EXCEEDED all our expectations!

t the DoubleTree were amazing. Everything was also at a very reasonable cost. The staff was very easy to work with and we always got quick replies whenever we needed help. We had over 150 people at our wedding and the venue did a great job accommodating for any allergies we let them know about. Everyone was very complimentary of the food and the late night snack of mac and cheese was a big hit! Lastly, I cannot say enough good things about Azurah! She was great to work with and provided great guidance and ideas as we planned our big day. You cannot go wrong with having your wedding at the DoubleTree.

dinator at the hotel, was tremendously accommodating! She always responded to me quickly, and made me feel as though I was her top priority. She is incredible at what she does and we are forever grateful for her!
Additionally, the Hotel Staff went above and beyond to deliver the wedding of our dreams, and all of our loved ones enjoyed their stay. Living in the Detroit Area, the attentiveness of the Hotel allowed me to feel as though the distance to Bay City would never stand in the way of my Wedding Day going smoothly. We had our Ceremony in the space as well, in addition to Cocktail Hour. We also got married in Off-Season, which opened up several perks including a Hot Cocoa and S'mores station at our Reception! The Hotel provided tables, linens, delicious entrees, and so much more. I would suggest the Hilton Doubletree Riverfront Hotel to anyone who is looking for an amazing and affordable venue!

! Azurah was always so pleasant, quick to respond, and was a huge help in making our dream day come together just as we envisioned! We also really appreciated that she was always honest, and never pushy; even suggesting us cutting down on the amount of hors douvres we were ordering, for the amount of people we were inviting. We reserved the outdoor ceremony area, but the day came, and it was veryyy windy & chilly, so we decided to have the ceremony and reception in the half ballroom. Despite us having our hearts set on having the ceremony outdoors, having it in the ballroom worked out beautifully! We really appreciated that we had a back up option! Azurah and the team checked in on us multiple times throughout the day, helping to coordinate everything and ensure our special day went smoothly. Towards the beginning of the ceremony, it started to get chaotic, with trying to coordinate photos with the bridal party, and getting everything together. At one point, I was going to be visible to all the guests (and groomsmen) before I walked down the aisle. I was starting to get stressed, but Azurah showed up to save the day, offering to unlock the room across the hallway, so I could wait with my girls, out of sight, until the big moment came. She even got me a water bottle, with a straw, so I didn’t ruin my lips! The ballroom was beautiful, the food was delicious, the drinks and bartender were stellar, and everyone seemed to have a great time. Thank you so much, to the hardworking and generous team, that worked so hard to make our day unforgettable! I’m so so grateful that we chose The DoubleTree for our special day!

work with, but her professionalism was top notch and her communication was phenomenal. We had a small 50 person wedding AND reception under the 'Pool Tent'. The Edison lights were perfect, the set up was perfect, the food was UNBELIEVEABLE, and every detail, even the smallest ones, were planned out. We used Samantha at Blooms Boutiques (a recommendation from the wonderful Azurah) for all of our flowers, tablecloths/setting etc. and not only did everything look BEAUTIFUL (even down to the flowers on the cake) but Azurah worked hand in hand with Samantha. They were so incredibly in sync with each other that on the day of (and for 97% of the planning), I did not have to lift a finger.

ou with a backup plan in case of rain. Our reception was held in their Davidson room and I must admit that I was a little nervous because none of the reviews mentioned the Davidson. I’m here to tell you that it was perfect! We had about 80 guests and I think that was the perfect amount, I do feel like 100 may have been a little overcrowded though. I love that they offer the services of setting up and tearing down. We personally didn’t utilize this service and having looked at other venues I think that it’s so nice that you’re not forced to use them for every service! Azurah was so helpful throughout the whole planning process and was so quick to respond. We checked into the hotel the night before our wedding and the front desk staff was so nice and went above and beyond. Our bartender was amazing, and we still get compliments on how good the food was! I highly recommend the Mac and cheese bar, it was a hit! There are so many great spots to get beautiful pictures too! and bringing it to life. The day of the wedding the room was set up just as I had dreamed with everything in place. The staff working the room, serving room and bussing tables, as well as guiding the bridal party and guests were incredibly kind and helpful. Guests repeatedly complimented the food throughout the night, the Double Tree dessert table and late night snack of fries were a huge hit! If I had to do it over again I wouldn’t change a thing- other than making sure I made more time to eat!

They gave us a packet to fill out all of our details which made all my decisions feel so easy as they were all laid out in front of me. We wanted to be a bit different and roll out heavy appetizers every hour and order “late night snacks” as dinner, and the DoubleTree made that happen (even though it wasn’t exactly an option on the menus). The wait staff and bartender were incredibly attentive and remembered what my guests were drinking. My groom and I had a personal note and boxes lunches waiting in our room from Deanna and Tricia when we arrived. The servers also boxed up leftovers for us because we didn’t have time to sample all of the food! I didn’t have to lift a finger - we dropped off our decorations and the room was set up and cleaned up perfectly. We have gotten so many compliments from our guests about the food, the drinks, and the service. We couldn’t be happier! The DoubleTree was 100% worth every penny!
