made our special day turn out perfect. The food was top notch. The roasted potatoes were a huge hit all the guests raved about them. The rest of the staff was very attentive. Overall our experience was a 10/10.

a breeze. She is responsive and organized, gives great advice and easily adapts to changes in plans. Hayley worked with us for over a year and always made time to answer questions and give direction. Her guidance and experience was invaluable. The space is huge and flexible. We reserved 3 of the 5 ballrooms and comfortably fit 200 guests. The space looks great as-is, but also is easily customizable for whatever look you're going for. We rented a dance floor, stage, bar and draping from outside vendors to get a particular look. DoubleTree and our vendors coordinated directly on setup and teardown, which made everything easy on us. We also used the foyer for our cocktail hour and liked how spacious it felt. The food and drinks were outstanding. Catering at large events has a reputation for being bland and mediocre quality, but that was certainly not the case here. Dinner was on par with the nicest restaurants in town and we were impressed by the wide variety of entree and side dish options DoubleTree offered. The appetizers at cocktail hour were also a hit with guests. The portion sizes are great (especially on appetizers), much more than you would expect for the price. DoubleTree also has a good selection of beers and liquors on their standard menu plus they can place special orders through their distributor. Several guests commented how they enjoyed the meal and drinks. We and our guests were happy with the rooms. The rooms are modern and spacious, and come with free breakfast and parking included. In particular, the suites for the bride and groom are huge. The block rate was generous, especially compared to the rates are similar hotels. We appreciated how attentive, friendly and gracious the staff treated us and our guests all throughout the weekend. They really went above and beyond for us, and you could feel that they were putting their heart into it. DoubleTree was the perfect fit for our wedding reception. They delivered a first rate event, all at a very reasonable price considering the quality and service level.

There were so many package options to choose from, for food or drink, and could fit many different types of needs. We ended up choosing one of the Buffett packages for dinner, and it was amazing. Our food was even better from what I had remembered from our tasting. Everything was perfect and I would definitely recommended having a wedding/event here!!

Double Tree was a perfect place because they have everything there......the room set up, some table decorations, food, and a place to stay if needed. We gave them the decorations and they set everything up for us and they took everything down after our evening and organized it for us to take home. They had plenty of staff to serve hors d'oeuvres (we had 300 people) during our appetizer time and 2 buffets set up to serve everyone quickly-everything was thought out and carried out! The reception area is beautiful and we even used their outdoor patio for our 'glow stick' send off. The food was delicious and we were able to sign a form 'releasing' the extra food that was left over (from people who didn't show up)-so the next day we enjoyed the food again once we were home. I can't say enough about this venue. It has EVERYTHING you need!!! Very easy planning!!!! We give it 10 million stars!!!

The staff was super nice and amazing as well! We were also provided suites so stay in , and get ready in making the day of an easier process. They also provided storage for our decor the day before so we didn’t have to set things up the day of or try and worry about getting everything together. As the bride I literally didn’t have to worry about ANYTHING. Not only is the double tree an amazing space to have a wedding but it’s affordable! So if you are struggling to find a venue Diana at the double tree is your go to girl!

ughout the whole process that Diana knew what my vision was. While being a bride through COVID, I had a million questions and Diana was so responsive and helpful throughout the whole thing. The staff was all so kind, the food was great and they were so accommodating at making my visions come to life while being a COVID bride. Last minute we had our rehearsal dinner location cancel on us and they were right there to make sure we had a spot to host! They took all precautions and made everyone feel safe through the whole wedding process. They take the liberty to make sure the bride and groom (as well as their families) don’t have anything to worry about the next day-all you have to do is pack your cars back up! I mean how awesome is that! I cannot recommend them enough to any bride looking for a vendor, everything was simply amazing.

She went above and beyond to make sure my MOH son had his own separate dinner for our rehearsal and actual ceremony and also was able to get the beer i like brought in ! She made sure masks were available as well as sanitzer stations as well to help keep everyone safe ! The food it was amazing! The catering department and chef are fantastic! Everyone honestly loved the food ! The servers were so amazing! We lost a apart of decor for the wedding and on check out day it was found! In general It was well worth our 2 hour drive ! She even made sure all of our wedding party got cookies and she even arranged for shots for my bridal party before we walked in to our reception! I would give her 10 stars if i could! She constantly kept in touch any question no matter how small she answered with in 1 day max! For any future functions myself and my husband have we will glad drive 2 hours away for Diana and her wonderful crew! Thanks for making our day amazing!

She really listened to what we wanted, answered all 9 million of my questions, and made sure that everything was just as we wanted. They have great package and food options, and ample space for larger groups - we had about 210 guests and 22 in the bridal parties and we did not feel crammed at all. One of the best parts was being able to drop off all of our decorations during the week before and they set everything up for us. This is such a huge relief not having to find time to go and decorate when you should be enjoying your time. After the night was over, everything was set over on one table which made packing up and loading super easy the next morning. I'll admit I was very picky and detailed, and I feel Diana handled that very gracefully. I absolutely recommend trusting the Double Tree and Diana with your special day.

iana Vincent is an attentive, trustworthy, and organized event planner for the DoubleTree and made sure every detail of the event was executed. The food is delicious no matter what you choose, the linens, napkins, pipe and drape, food displays, and every other event item and service they offer are of great quality and will give your event a sense of high class. Diana and her team set up our centerpieces, table numbers, guest book, favors, signs, seating charts, and card box in the most beautiful way, which saved my husband and I a lot of time and worry. I can't recommend the DoubleTree enough!

Kaitlyn took great care of us in the interim, and Diana immediately reached out to us upon her arrival to confirm our plans and details. We had a walk-through of all the details a few days before the wedding with Diana and dropped off everything they would need to decorate the space. Josh also took extra care to ensure everything would be just right for our reception and was protecting the space the night before as they were setting up. Knowing someone else was taking care of all the details and ensuring things kept moving while we enjoyed our special day meant a lot to us! The only hiccup we encountered during our weekend was ensuring our guests received the hospitality bags we had put together for them upon check-in. It took several contacts with the front desk to ensure all of our guests staying at the DoubleTree received their hospitality bags.

They responded quickly to my emails and were very patient when I made some last minute changes to the appetizers for cocktail hour. They made sure the ceremony space was set up with the aisle runner and rose petals and ensured all my centerpieces were placed correctly. They took care of the lighting during the ceremony and made sure we stayed on schedule for the whole day. I didn't have anything to worry about the entire time. Great job ladies. I really appreciate all you did for us!

flew back to Illinois to look at a few venues in the Bloomington/Normal area and were immediately impressed with the DoubleTree after meeting with Ashley for the first time. Ashley is AMAZING, super organized, prepared and responsive to all correspondence. When we met with her she provided us with a folder that included a packet of information including the packages they provide, food and drink options. Right off the bat she crunched numbers for us, so we knew exactly what we would be getting into. After meeting with Ashley we knew it was a no brainer that this was going to be our reception venue. Ashley advised me to give all of my vendors her contact information and she would schedule deliveries the day of the wedding for us, final numbers were requested only 4 days prior to the wedding and I met with her 3 days prior to the wedding to drop off our decorations for the staff to set up for us and everything looked perfect. The food at the reception was AMAZING! We had a plated meal served and I didn’t hear any complaints about cold food or it taking too long for our guests to receive their food. The next day we walked down and all of our decorations were boxed and ready for us to take home with us. Thank you so much Ashley and team for making our wedding reception and stay so memorable!
