This hotel does an absolutely amazing job with wedding receptions! We had originally decided to have only a celebratory dinner after our wedding but changed our minds less than two months before the wedding. The reception package options are exceptional! All of the benefits from a free suite the night of the wedding to the food choices are above and beyond what we expected. And I really can’t say enough about the Catering Manager, Katie Christian-Conwell. I had no clue what needed to be done AND we changed our guest count and other details a million times. She handled everything like a pro and wasn’t the least bit bothered by all of the changes; she just made them happen—she’s got wedding planning in her blood!!!!! Because of her, not a single detail of my wedding reception was overlooked and I had absolutely no stress at all! Our banquet manager Marcelo was amazing and the chef Brad delivered fabulous food. Our guests could not stop talking about the food. I highly recommend this hotel for wedding receptions, especially if Katie Christian-Conwell is making it happen for you.

This was one of the only hotels in annapolis that would allow us to book a block of rooms without demanding a 2 night minimum. We had a cocktail hour here that was on the pricey side, but was well managed and the food was good. The rooms each had their quirks and it seems that there were more than one billing problem. But the staff is attentive. They know how to work with brides and reach out and contact you often. They made life easy, each of my guests got their welcome bag One thing to consider, always ask what other groups are booked at the hotel. There were 2 family reunions booked that weekend and those guests were SUPER loud and had lots of parties all over the hotel and in rooms until all hours of the night. Luckily once you were inside your room you couldn't really hear them.

Katie Conwell, Terry Duley, and the entire team at the Doubletree made our wedding absolutely amazing. They are so responsive, professional, and kind and that meant a lot to us when first choosing our wedding location and throughout the entire process. They made us feel taken care of and every detail was executed perfectly. We felt so special and the staff took great care of not only us but our guests that day. I would have another event there in a heartbeat and recommend it to any bride in the Annapolis area looking for a venue.

The Double Tree was the perfect location for us! It was great to have our reception at a hotel so that our guests could spend the night. The food was delicious, and they set up all the tables beforehand! And when my DJ arrived late, they allowed me to have the room for an extra half-hour completely free! It was a wonderful experience!

This site met everyone of my needs with professionalism and a smile. They worked within our budget and threw in some extras to make my day special. The food was absolutely amazing, guests are still talking about it! The decor was perfect. The head of catering/venues made sure everything went smoothly and that I didn't have to worry about a thing!

The price, food, atmosphere and rooms were all outstanding. The day of the wedding the event coordinator left during cocktail hour and left us with a staff member who announced us to the world formerly of Mr. and Mrs. my maiden name!!!!! After this there was no direction about the timing of the usual goings-on during a wedding. Very disappointed in the event coordination.
