ommend going to the food tasting event they hold at the beginning of the year, it gave us such great insight into the options for food and decor as well as the overall vibe of the event space. The food was great, space was great, at a good price. Our event was on the smaller side, about 60 people, and they made sure we had enough space for us and all of our guests and a dance floor by combining two rooms for us at no extra cost without us even asking. They have a bigger event room for any bigger events. I would recommend their services and would use them again.

experience. They not only hosted our reception, but also our ceremony, catered both food and drink, and did most of the set up for the day of. Earlier in the year, they invited us, and all other engaged couples to be wed at the DoubleTree that year, to a taste testing expo, where we literally (not figuratively) tried almost every menu option they offered for cocktail hour and reception foods. Everything we tasted was so good that it was hard to pick! Our wedding was last week, and we are still getting resounding complements on both food and venue! The DT also offers a “get ready” room for the bride and her maids, which was really nice, and it gave us a lot of room to get ready in. Also- Melissa and Rhea left my husband and I a bottle of Prosecco, chocolate covered strawberries, and a mini cheesecake in our room, that we found after we came up from the end of the reception. I cried when I saw that, as it was such a simple but meaningful gesture. If there was *anything* remotely close to something negative I would say about DT, is that there was a miscommunication about the dismantling of decor. They had told us that they would set up and take down everything for us, and when it was taken down, it would be put in the bar; We assumed this meant the items would be packed and on the bar, but they weren’t, they were just sitting on the bar, which wasn’t great having to pack everything ourselves the next morning as we were checking out/leaving. But in the grand scheme, not a day ruiner, just not expected, and we felt it was worth noting.

throughout the entire planning process, and were very accommodating when we had last minute changes. The ceremony on the beautiful terrace overlooking the water was absolutely perfect, thanks to their excellent organization. Our guests were so impressed by the elegant decor, quality of the food and drinks, and attentive service from the waitstaff and bartenders. The Doubletree offered us the perfect all-in-one venue, with a stunning ceremony space, reception ballroom, and hotel accommodations for our guests. We couldn't have asked for a more special and memorable wedding day. I highly recommend the Doubletree by Hilton Niagara Falls to any couple looking for an elegant, quality wedding experience.

She put in an immense amount of effort down to the smallest of details and I cannot thank her enough! The reception ballroom was beautiful and spacious, the food was great, and the staff were attentive and friendly! 10/10 would recommend to any future bride and groom!

My expectations were completely blown away. When it comes to cost, for everything included it’s one of the most affordable and accommodating of venues in the Niagara Falls area. fect. They were so responsive to emails (since we live in Colorado). Since we live in Colorado I needed a venue that was all inclusive and we just had to meet food and beverage minimums, the DoubleTree has everything I was looking for. When we arrived for the weekend and our day was approaching, Melissa and Rhea did everything.. and I mean everything. I didn’t lift a finger to set anything up or anything. We had a plated dinner service and The staff was phenomenal. They were so incredibly efficient and all our guests kept commenting to me how great the staff was and how well put together this event was. If you’re looking for a place to get married or host your reception this is it.

Walking up the venue’s steps for the ceremony was a special touch. Their flexibility with remote planning was a relief. They were responsive via email and phone, and we appreciated being able to visit the venue while nearby. Since we couldn’t attend the tasting, they allowed my sister and her friend to go on our behalf, which was thoughtful. We also shipped items directly to the venue and could drop off wedding items at the front desk, which were passed to the coordinator—such conveniences made a big difference. The food was fantastic. Highlights were the grilled swordfish, lamb lollies, coconut shrimp, and broccolini, all of which got rave reviews from guests. The carving station was excellent, though the meats were mislabeled, causing some confusion. The panzanella salad was lacking, and there was a noticeable delay between cocktail hour and dinner, which disrupted the flow. Late-night snacks were popular, though the timing of the announcement felt off. Melissa was flexible with last-minute changes, such as beer and liquor selections, and was transparent about costs. The dance floor and included furniture were great, and our DJ had no issues with the sound system. The venue was also handicap accessible, which was important to us. The wedding suite was a comfortable place to prepare and unwind. The venue was inclusive and mindful of our same-sex wedding, thoughtfully balancing traditional elements with our unique celebration. However, we would have appreciated a list of LGBTQ+ friendly vendors, which would have aligned better with our values and streamlined the process. There were a few small issues: some guests didn’t receive their welcome bags, and our favors were not placed on tables as requested. Additionally, the "get ready" room was locked in the afternoon, which added unnecessary stress. The after-party room was also locked, and we had to involve the front desk to unlock it. One area for improvement was photography. The staff took photos for their Instagram but didn’t ask for consent until after the ceremony. This made us uncomfortable. It would be better if they offered a discount in exchange for marketing photos. Overall, the event was a success, and we’re grateful to the team for their hard work. While there were some areas for improvement, we would still highly recommend the DoubleTree Niagara Falls for anyone looking for a picturesque venue with great service.

The day of went so smooth I couldn’t have asked for a better venue and a better team to work with through this past year of planning! It rained the day of the wedding. They made it so accommodating to make our ceremony inside and it was still beautiful. We purchased the hospitality room to get ready and it was set up in the morning with breakfast. The room was huge and gave us girls a lot of space to get ready.

They gave us inspiration and support the whole year of planning. You are able to attend the annual tasting event, which helped us engage our family and bridal party. You could taste about 98% of the menu items, so come hungry. That helped us see what the space could be, inspired our menu choices, and meet vendors if you needed some. By then we had our vision and menu down. We could make that choice based on our exposure and experience at the tasting. We had another appointment to go over details. What really made this place the best was the staff. Melissa and Rhea, who helped my, now husband and I, with everything, from the planning process to the day of. They were professional, made us feel at ease, and were very easy to get in touch with. Regardless of who they were serving, the entire staff was absolutely wonderful. Each person I encountered, and had heard from our guests, was accommodating, respectful, caring, and hospitable. You can go as big or as small as you want. Have a comfortable place to spend the evening, have a beautiful outdoor space to have a ceremony (if you so choose), get ready in a hotel room or large hospitality room (again if you so choose). That’s the beauty- you have the choice and power to choose what is important to you and your wedding dream here. Location, choice, value, and professionalism were what drew us here. We both agree the value for what you get here far exceeded our expectations….i could go on and on. We will forever be grateful to the staff, especially Melissa and Rhea, for bringing our wedding dream to life.

desmaids made reservations for dinner at Parkway Prime the restaurant inside the hotel. They blew up balloons, set us up in a private room with bottles of champagne. It was a beautiful surprise. Wedding day was perfect. Everything was exactly as expected. Jill the banquet manager and Melissa were a great team to make sure everything went smoothly so that my husband and I were happy. For anyone looking for a venue, the Doubletree has everything you need!

But not only the staff was exceptional, the food was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the stuffed pork! Even my catering friend had no complaints. Highly ,Highly recommend!
