We used this as our hotel for the wedding, not the actual wedding venue, but we had such a great experience, that it deserves a review. Ashley and her team were incredibly accommodating to our family and friends, and made everything so seamless for us on our wedding weekend. We were originally booked at another hotel for our wedding, but due to a change in ownership, we were stuck looking for another hotel only three months before our wedding. Our venue recommended the DoubleTree Cranberry, and we were so happy with it. The lobby is gorgeous and great for everyone to see each other/hangout/mingle. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Ashley and her team made sure I was booked in the biggest suite to accommodate hair and make up the day of the wedding, then had house keeping come through after we left so my husband and I would return to a clean and fresh room. Neither my husband or I are from Pittsburgh originally, so we were going to have a lot of people in town for the wedding. We told them roughly what we were expecting for the room block and instead of fighting us on the number of rooms we wanted, they agreed with us and even offered to up it if we needed to. We stayed at the hotel for a total of three nights, and every night we felt like royalty. The staff was so friendly and happy to help with everything we needed. Dylan at the front desk was even so kind to print off my vows for me the day of my wedding. Anytime we drive past the hotel now, my husband and I call it "our hotel" and will likely end up staying there again.

We talked to a couple different hotels before we went to see the Doubletree. We really wanted somewhere we would have space to just hang out and decompress after the wedding as a group. The Doubletree was the most accommodating of all. The rooms were very nice, they allowed me to add rooms to my block as necessary, and gave us part of the lobby to hang out in. Kate was fabulous to work with and answered all of my questions. We had no issues and I would absolutely stay there or have an event there again.

Leading up to the wedding, everything was super smooth with booking. We mainly chose this hotel for our room block due to close proximity to our reception venue. Kate the coordinator was very kind and easy to communicate with leading up to the day. However, things went south as we checked in. We had discussed on the phone that my husband would check in the night before our wedding, and have his room to get ready in the next afternoon, and would check out when he left for the wedding. The morning of our wedding he was informed that he needed to be out by 11 (we weren’t to leave for our ceremony until 2) because they had another wedding party checking in. The only solution that was initially offered was for him and his groomsmen to get dressed in the pool locker room. This was cleared up, but was an unnecessary stressor the morning of. After speaking to guests at our wedding, we discovered that 2 rooms had to be moved due to flooding in their room, one room had to be moved due to the air conditioning not working, and one room did not have a working television. We only had around 10 rooms booked in our room block and it was upsetting that we had issues with 5/10 rooms. However, the lobby is beautiful, and the breakfast in the morning and the bar in the evening was excellent. It was a great place for us to relax with our wedding party prior to and after our wedding.

Choose this venue!! You will be so very happy you did! My husband and I had our wedding here December 2019. Working with Phillip made the whole process of planning so easy! Each detail was thought of and taken care of! The venue was absolutely stunning!!!!! Breathtaking! The staff on the wedding day was wonderful! They were very kind, helpful, and kept in communication with us throughout the entire reception. I truly can’t recommend this venue enough!!!! Thank you, DoubleTree Hilton Pittsburgh Cranberry!! :)

#Amazing!! My Daughter Haley had the absolutely most beautiful Christmas wedding reception ever!! The venue is spectacular! From the time you walk into the spectacular lobby you get the feeling your in a great place! The food was incredible! The Service SUPURB! It all starts with the most incredible wedding planner Phillip.!! He truly is gifted and I hope the Hilton corp recognizes his talent. He is kind and calming and makes you feel from the first time you meet him he is a pro! Phillip made my daughter’s dream wedding come true. Have your reception here if you want a perfect venue with no worries!! Are quests were amazed!!!

The staff at this venue, especially Phillip, were SUPER accommodating, organized, and made sure everything went smoothly for our big day. Not to mention, the venue space is beautiful, has a wonderful bar & restaurant (that we frequented with every planning meeting), and has the full capability of doing EVERYTHING there. We did our rehearsal, dinner, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, after party, and next day brunch there, and it was seamless. We wouldn’t have wanted to celebrate anywhere else.

So in August of 2018, we began a journey to find the perfect wedding venue. We looked all over North and West of Pittsburgh. We took a chance and snuck into the side door of the Hilton- Double Tree, located in Cranberry, PA. Since that hot summer day, our experience with Phillip, the Wedding Coordinator, was amazing. The big day was October 26, 2019. We had 120 guests for a buffet dinner and dancing reception. What a night!!! When Phillip gave my husband and I a tour of the ballroom before the doors were open to our quests, I was simply speechless. I had no idea what to expect. I was brought to tears as I made my way around the room. We have been accused of being very fussy when it comes to service and expectations. Well…the Double Tree has certainly raised that bar for the next big event in our life. The food, the lighting, the table set up, the cookie table, the memory table, all were beyond words. I gave Phillip boxes of items for each table mentioned and said do with it what you feel would fit and, wow, once again, speechless!! The staff as a whole could not have been more helpful and supportive to each of our guests, family, and Bridal Party. I do have words to share with you now. Attention you wedding venue shoppers, please go and see Phillip at the Double Tree, located on Rt. 19 in Cranberry, for a life time of memories, I promise you, you will not regret it!!

Our daughter's reception was at the DoubleTree Hilton in Cranberry. Phillip and his staff were amazing to work with. He was helpful and efficient with the reception planning, and everything was exactly as we had envisioned it. Also, the staff was wonderful after the reception with packing up our decorations ,etc. Everyone was friendly, accommodating and professional throughout the entire process!!

We had our wedding reception at the Doubletree in Cranberry and have nothing but amazing things to say about them and Phil! From the very beginning when we looked at the space and met with Phil, we knew that they were super experienced and we loved the updated modern space. Phil helped us throughout the entire planning process by setting up meetings to go over details at certain points and kept us on track. Phil was always very responsive and helpful with any questions. After meeting with Phil about a month before the wedding and then two days before, we went over all of the final details and I knew we were in perfect hands. He totally understood our vision for how we wanted the space to look and once we saw it the day of the wedding we were blown away. We were even running late after getting pictures after the ceremony and he was calm and collected and got us right back on track! During the reception, the staff was so friendly and fun, every time we got a drink from the bar they made sure we didn't wait! After the wedding was over, the staff cleaned and packed up all of the wedding decor we supplied and even took it back to our room for the night. From beginning to end, the Doubletree and Phil made our wedding so enjoyable and relaxing!

My husband and I got married on 12/31/2018 at the Doubletree, and where do I even begin? Our experience with the Doubletree was beyond amazing! Phil! I cannot speak highly enough of Phil, he is the wedding coordinator at the Doubletree and from the moment we met him he made the process so worry and stress free! Anthony, who also works the weddings, was great too! Anything we needed during the reception he was on it immediately! The food: I have received so many compliments on how wonderful the food was. We did a buffet style dinner and everything was hot and delicious! The venue: The hotel in itself is beautiful, so once we added our personal touches it looked amazing. The Doubletree let me personalize so many things to make my reception look exactly like what I dreamed of! The Doubletree well exceeded my expectations for our NYE wedding! I would recommend this hotel to anyone getting married because they make everything so easy for the bride and groom! The venue, food, staff, EVERYTHING was top notch!

From the day we started planning our daughter's wedding until the wedding day was easy and perfect thanks to Phillip Wintgens. We couldn't have asked for anything better. The ceremony room and reception area were absolutely gorgeous! Food.....delicious! We received many compliments from our guests all evening long! It was definitely the magical, winter wedding we envisioned. Thank you Phil, Toni, Anthony and the rest of the staff. Five star people working at a five star hotel

We couldn’t be happier with the service and experience we had booking the Doubletree by Hilton in Cranberry! Phillip was an absolute life saver, he was so responsive, organized and he truly and expert in what he does. From the first meeting to the end of our wedding night he and the staff exceeded our every expectation. They made it extremely easy during every point of the process. Their recommended vendors for the cake and flowers were also amazing and made for a seamless process. I highly recommend booking your wedding here, it was the best choice we made and couldn’t be happier!

The DoubleTree was an absolutely amazing wedding venue! Phillip was so helpful from day 1, he was friendly and always eager to help out when we had questions. The day of our wedding, we didn’t have to worry about anything. The staff set up our ballroom perfectly and handled all of our special requests. Also, the staff were so nice and accommodating throughout the whole night! My husband and I can’t say enough about this venue!

Choosing the DoubleTree - Cranberry as our venue was the best choice we made in the wedding planning process. I cannot say enough good things! We had our entire event at the DoubleTree - the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and after party were all just steps away from each other - it could not have been easier for guests to move from one part of the event to the next. Phillip, the event coordinator, was amazing from day one, as was everyone else we encountered throughout the entire planning process and the day of the wedding. Phillip was organized, responsive, knowledgeable and his well timed sense of humor kept me laughing through the stress that the final weeks before the wedding brought. It was refreshing to talk to him in those stressful moments, I always left our conversations feeling confident that all would go as planned. The food was great and the event staff could not have done a better job. The hotel bar/restaurant were the perfect atmosphere for the after party. The guest rooms were wonderful and the breakfast buffet the morning after was a big hit! We also had walls draped and lighting in both the ceremony and reception rooms that was done by the DoubleTree. They made great recommendations and everything looked fabulous! We used outside vendors for musician/DJ and cake that were recommended by the venue and they were fabulous as well!

I liked Phillip from the get go when planning our daughter's wedding reception. He is very efficient, experienced & knowledgeable in this field and a lot of fun to work with. He answered every question that I had promptly and was very informative. The newly remodeled ballroom is beautiful, the food was delicious (we chose prime rib, asiago chicken, garlic mashed potatoes & green beans). Our guests all commented on how good their meal was and they were very pleased with the variety of liquor and did not have to stand in line to get served. We would not have changed a thing as everything went just as we had planned. Toni, Eleanor & the rest of the staff could not have been any more pleasant and accommodating. I would highly recommend the Doubletree in Cranberry as one of the top places in our area to host a wedding reception. We had a great experience!

My family and I recently had the pleasure of enjoying my son's wedding reception at the Doubletree in Cranberry Twp, PA. As we live outside of the area, we also stayed at the hotel for several days before the wedding and the night of the reception. (we live in Florida. Other family members came in from Texas, Colorado, Ohio and Spain) Every member of the staff, from maintenance to housekeeping, front desk clerks to servers and management were courteous, professional and understanding with the myriad of requests we had to make. No question was too mundane, no detail too small to handle. Planning a long distance event is never easy, yet the staff of this hotel made it effortless and seamless. Particular kudos need to go to the catering manager Phillip. His knowledge, guidance and sense of humor were greatly appreciated. Any establishment would be lucky to have him in their employ. My husband and I, and the entire family, would highly recommend the Doubletree in Cranberry for any event or length of stay. They are that good.

My daughter, Katelyn, had her wedding on September 9, 2017 at the Double Tree Hilton in Cranberry. We were absolutely thrilled with the outcome. The ease of planning and coordination led to an easy execution of the event. The day of the wedding was flawless with the constant supervision of the wedding coordinator. The wait staff and bartenders were both gracious and pleasant to all our guests. We are still, weeks later, hearing rave reviews on the entrees/food served at the wedding. Perfect day! (In which the Double Tree Cranberry played a major role.)

We cannot say enough about how the DoubleTree by Hilton Pittsburgh-Cranberry treated us and our guests on our most important day. The wedding was perfect in every way. The renovations have created an absolutely beautiful environment for a reception but the staff at this hotel is what puts this venue over the top. The event coordinator, Phillip, deserves particular credit for his professionalism, responsiveness, and overall class that he showed from day one until the evening of our reception. Phillip and his staff made sure to take every detail into consideration. The staff worked with our videographer, DJ, photographer, and other vendors to ensure our timeframe and other events went as planned. This is definitely something that we appreciated on the day of our wedding, due to all of the planning that led up to it. If you are looking for a beautiful venue and a team that genuinely cares about the quality of your wedding reception, look no further. I would highly recommend this particular venue and team to anyone interested in a reception located in the Greater Pittsburgh Area.

From our very first encounter with Geri Sutherland a year before our wedding to work out details for our room block, to our wedding day, and all the work in between with Geri, Linda, Allyssa Tudor, David Blawut, Henry Seibert and the GM, Lance Rihn, the rest of the front desk staff, the wait and service staff, EVERYONE went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience. We did and then some. We had over 50 rooms booked, our rehearsal dinner, our wedding ceremony all at the Doubletree. They helped us with transportation back and forth to the reception as well. It was like working with family. Everyone bent over backward to make sure we were satisfied with everything. A special thanks to Henry for the fantastic food and to Allyssa for helping me make my ceremony site look so great. All of the support will never be forgotten and we hope we get to work with you all again for something else in the future, even if we have to make up a reason!!!

We had the most amazing experience here! From the initial visit to the actual wedding, Phil was above and beyond fantastic. The hotel is gorgeous and the food was so wonderful! This venue is perfect in every way. I suggest anyone getting married in Pittsburgh and looking for a hotel as their wedding venue use the Double Tree Cranberry! The hotel even froze our top of our cake for us since we weren't going home right away! It stayed frozen too even on the long car ride back across the state! Our florist forgot the vase my dad rented to put my bouquet in for the reception, Phil found one in his office and let me borrow it! Everything went so well the whole day and night! Thank you so much to Phil and the Doubletree staff!!

The Doubletree by Hilton did an amazing job in helping to make our wedding day everything that we imagined and more. We were referred to the hotel and it has since been newly remodeled.. From start to finish, Phillip did a wonderful job and made everything as stress free as possible. The day off we had all of the assistance we could ask for from the banquet managers, Tony was awesome... the next morning Harry made sure that our brunch was nothing short of perfect. thank you all so much for everything you have done! It was truly a night we will never forget!!
