I was married here in July. The space is just fantastic. There are beautiful floor to ceiling windows with a ton of natural light that really sealed the deal for me when we were choosing. There are balconies too! The room has a ton of different ways you could set it up. We had 200 guests, and it was the perfect amount of space. One of the biggest pros is that the food is AMAZING, and the service lead, Leo, was incredibly accommodating and helped to make our day a success. Guests still comment about how our wedding food was the best they’ve ever had. The options were unique and cooked to perfection. It was very easy to coordinate our own dessert here. The staff went above and beyond and let us use special tablecloths and bowls for our candy table.
A few cons prevent this from being a 5 star rating. First, you have to rent your own dance floor, which was pretty expensive. Most hotels have them available to you. This is likely due to the fact that it’s a new venue, and maybe they’ll get one for the future. Second, there are some issues with staff (turnover) that made planning more stressful than it needed to be. It was a brand new team when we had our reception, so hopefully they’ve worked some of the bugs out. The staff is nice, and they did their best to make things as smooth as possible, but there were some hiccups due to inexperience. Third, parking here is not ideal. Guests have to pay $12 to park their cars, and even though we informed them ahead of time some people were not happy about that. We tried to cover or subsidize valet with part of our package, but since it’s a different hotel budget from events, we weren’t allowed to. Finally, the bartenders had no idea how to make an old-fashioned.
Overall, despite the minor cons listed, it was a very positive experience here. I would get married here again and again and again!
