We can't say enough how wonderful this newly remodeled venue was for our wedding. The space, the staff, the location made for an epic 1920's themed wedding that we will forever remember. Our event coordinator Tracy was amazing despite all the changes she handled everything with calm and care.
The Holiday Inn provided a very organized all in one package. We loved how the hotel staff catered to us for our wedding and provided everything we needed. Lots of ideas and examples were shared with is. We did not feel pressured at all. Throughout the planning process I had a lot of questions. The staff was willing to meet with me in person as many times as I needed, and I was able to email my questions with quick responses.
We had our reception at the Holiday Inn on 09/26/15. We had the beef tenderloin and lemon rosemary chicken for dinner, and both were excellent! All guests raved about the dinner. We worked with Tracy Jo to get the details all worked out, and she was great with responding to emails/calls, as well as coordinating with my travel schedule (lived 250 miles away from reception venue). They were up front with costs of everything. There was a food tasting/vendor expo to help with all of choices that go into planning a reception. Having preferred vendors to choose from to get the best deal was nice.
We had a really great experience having our reception at Holiday Inn East. They were very helpful before and during the reception. They were really wonderful about making things run well. I would recommend others having their reception here!
Our catering manager, Marisa Hovde, was personal, professional, sensitive, accomodating and fun to work with. It was our first major event and Marisa made it a piece of cake. With little effort, the ballroom was beautiful, the italian buffet was exceptional and all the staff worked very hard. All our guests raved about it being an excellent dinner and so fun.
The only hitch was hotel check-in which was very disorganized and painfully slow. This area needs help.
