I never in my life wanted to have a “Wedding,” I always said weddings were a waste of money- just go to the courthouse and fill out the paperwork. After the wedding that Doug and Glenn put together for us, I would have one every year if I could afford it.

My wife and I live in Connecticut but had our wedding in Lexington, KY where my wife is from; so from the very start we were giving Doug and Glenn the challenge of working with a couple who was 700 miles away- didn’t phase them for a second.
Doug and Glenn were more like our Wedding “Counsel” than wedding planners. At every step they were there to guide us and give us advice about how to navigate whatever challenges we met- even when it was not beneficial to them. We came to trust them so much that our dialogues went from us asking for advice for each decision to us saying, “whatever you guys think” and even then they always gave us a couple options to choose from.
Whenever you hear about someone planning their wedding, amidst the excitement is almost always an equal amount of stress. My wife and I both work at least 60+ hrs a week yet we felt very little stress making choices and meeting deadlines during the wedding planning process- all because of Doug and Glenn. Even on our wedding day, Doug transitioned us so seamlessly between the different stages of the wedding that the whole thing seemed effortless.
My wife and I were laughing about similar experiences we both had during the wedding where we were mingling with the crowd and out of the corner of our eye we would see Doug standing quietly about 10ft away looking at us and we would immediately leave whatever conversation we were in and go to him where he would then direct us to a photoshoot here or there or our first dance or a cake cutting etc.
This is why I say that they are the wedding King/Queen makers. In shows and movies, whenever there is a prominent figure who looks like they have it all together, there is always someone in shadows who really deserves all the credit. That is who Doug and Glenn were for us. They took my wife and I who live too far away, work too much, and know too little to even THINK of pulling off a successful wedding and they turned it into the most amazing night that even our guests are still talking about.

They know the industry so well that they knew exactly who to call and how to best budget your money to be able to accomplish all of the things you want! They made the wedding planning process so much easier for me and removed so much of the stress! On the day of the wedding I was told many times I was so relaxed and that was honestly because I knew Doug and Glenn had everything under control and I just got to enjoy things! There were a few things that we noticed during the reception (like the band playing more slow music than we wanted) and all I did was make eye contact with Glenn or Doug and they were immediately headed my way and listened to my concerns then made sure it was taken care immediately. Also, they made all of my floral dreams come true! The arrangements for the aisle, tables, ceremony alter, and bouquets were all breath taking and exactly what I described to them! I have people asking me all the time who did my florals for my wedding! After Doug and Glenn have been apart of 5 weddings in my family, I still cannot recommend them more!

efore we arrived at the venue, until after we left. He was on top of every question and need, and made sure that every transition throughout the day went flawlessly. From the second we arrived, he was making sure everyone was comfortable and on track for the perfect day. Whether it was helping the bridal party organize their supplies and snacks, making sure the vendors were all on track, making sure the service was magical, or making sure we got our boxed up leftovers from the caterers, Doug was there every single step of the way. If you’re on the fence about hiring a coordinator, go for it, and hire Doug. Having him take care of everything freed up so much space for us to enjoy time with our guests and take in the day without stress.
Flowers: I simply can’t rave enough about the perfect florals from Doug. My bouquet took my breath away the first time I saw it. The guys’ boutonnières were the classiest ones I’ve ever seen. We also want to thank Doug for taking the time to get Lily of the Valley for our daughter's bouquet. Doug even took leaves from our yard and incorporated them into my daughter's bouquet as something old. As these plants originally came from her grandmother's house. thanks to their services — it was far from it. I hired Doug for day of coordination and floral services. Doug was always very attentive to my emails, zoom calls, and text messages. Answering my thousands of questions professionally and in a timely manner. As someone who had never helped planned a wedding before, his advice and expertise on every thing weddings was truly so valuable to me. Doug has a person for EVERYTHING. My wedding day ended up being so much more than I could have every imagined. My reception and ceremony spaces were decorated beautifully. They made all my visions and Pinterest boards come to life, and then some. As far as coordination of the day — everything flowed seamlessly. And PROPS to them for managing to get my bridal party and family to where they needed to be. If anything went wrong on my wedding day, my husband and I didn’t know about it. Doug and Glen had it covered without us ever knowing! I cannot recommend them more.

When weren’t sure about something, they always had great ideas and were a wealth of knowledge. Our florals were absolutely perfect and the decor was everything I envisioned. I just shared a Pinterest board with Doug and Glenn with my decor inspiration and they made it happen! They are truly so talented.
Doug and his whole team really cared about making sure everything went off without a hitch. They brought donuts to our bridal suite getting ready and even brought us a plate of appetizers while we were still taking photos and ready to eat!
Wedding planning can be chaotic, but Doug and every member of his team is so calm and really puts your mind at ease so you can focus on having fun and enjoying the day. If anything went wrong, we did not know about it and everything was truly perfect for us and for our guests! We could not be more grateful to have had them as part of our wedding day!

They provided us with fantastic tools to help us along our planning journey, beyond what would normally be provided with 'day of' services elsewhere. We were nervous along the way and Doug and Glenn were both very professional and timely with any question we had, big or small. They were great to lean on as we rehearsed both a Plan A and Plan B ceremony depending on how the weather went. Finally, the day of – everyone tells you to prepare for something to go wrong. I cannot point to a single thing that went wrong, and my husband and I credit Doug and Glenn for this. If there was something that went awry, they must have squashed it before it ever reached us which is a testament to their capabilities. I called them just to notify them of the issue and potential for a shift in the venue and they went above and beyond to go check it out for themselves, just to re-assure me that it would be handled. Even though they had no part in working with the venue to remedy the situation, they knew how stressed I was and wanted to help alleviate that.
Anything that happened that would stress out a bride during wedding planning, they were there and handling it before I even had a chance to be stressed.
