Doug Todd Photography

I'm giving Doug 2 stars simply because the pictures did come out well, when he finally showed up. I guess we must have slipped through the cracks, but Doug pretty much forgot about us all through the process. He was supposed to do a site visit, never did, when we called a month in advance for our phone meeting (which we had scheduled), he didn't know who we were and started talking about his pricing (we had already paid the deposit), and on our wedding day, he had put us in his calendar for the wrong day. He showed up 2 hours late, the other photographer was 3 hours late, so we missed a lot of valuable shots, and it added a lot of unneeded stress. Disappointed all around. The shots were nice, but in most of the portrait shots the people are looking in different directions because both photographers were shooting at the same time and didn't say who to look at. We did receive a discounted rate, but was it worth it? I'm not sure.

All I can say is amazing! You will not regret hiring Doug Todd to photograph your special day! My husband and I were so impressed with the professionalism, creativity of Doug and his assistant.. but most of all the finished product! Our pictures were gorgeous! We cannot stop looking at them! Everything was just as we wanted it!

I'll start by saying that my husband and I are both photographers ourselves. I myself, am a wedding photographer, even. So we were fairly particular about who we hired for our wedding photography and we knew what we were looking for! Not currently Vermonters, despite the distance we felt a quick friendship with Doug that we knew would translate into a high level of imagery. Easy going and calm, Doug and his assistant Gabe were there for every moment, never missing a detail. They did a phenomenal job capturing the spirit and the emotion of our day in a way we will cherish forever. I recommend them very highly! Book with them, you won't be disappointed!

Recommended by our event planner, Doug Todd lived up to his excellent reputation. His photos combined his artistic eye and unique design skills to come up with photos that thrilled our daughter and son-in-law. His kind and gentle demeanor put everyone at ease and faced with some last minute and unexpected changes in the event were taken in stride by Doug and his assistant. We could not have been more pleased with him and his photos and would recommend him without hesitation. He was outstanding.
