DJ (There are two, I had Christian and he was amazing!), tables, linens, drink dispensers, heaters, umbrellas, chairs, an arch, decorations, signs; saved me SO much money not having to hunt those things and no additional stress worrying about getting them rented and to the venue. Plus, the venue coordinator Gayle is the sweetest person in the entire universe! She was always so eager to help, so sweet and kind, and is genuinely someone who loves and cares about what she does. She's all about making the bride happy, and it shows! She worked so well with my coordinator too, and kept me updated on everything right up until the wedding day (which is when she told me "No worries on your end, you just enjoy your day. We got this!"). Beautiful venue ran by a beautiful soul. Thank you so much Gayle! You made my day magical!

She is probably one of the sweetest, most accommodating, most passionate, and most caring humans my husband and I have ever encountered. She is available for Day Of Coordination services (a Day Of Coordinator is required for a wedding here), and we DEFINITELY recommend using her services. She is professional, experienced, and truly wants you to love your wedding. Fantastic venue, fantastic and EASY experience, best value for a wedding venue in probably all of Orange County.

ng! She does everything thing for you if you choose. She can be your Day if Coordinator for an additional $500 or you can have who you wish. This venue let’s you you bring in outside vendors or you can choose from their list of recommended vendors. We went with our own, we brought our own alcohol. The only thing we booked with them was Gayle as our day of coordinator, their clean up crew and The DJ is included for 5 hours. We paid an extra $150 for and additional 1 1/2 hours towards the DJ. It was a wonderful day and Gayle made sure we had the best time and I want to do it all over again!

would get the wedding of our dreams. At every visit it was nothing but "Oh yes honey, we can do that" "that will be no problem" "I can take care of that, easy." For example, I had asked on multiple occasions whether it would be possible to have our ceremony in front of the waterfall as that was my favorite backdrop and I was told "absolutely" every time. It wasn't until two weeks before the wedding that Gayle bothered to mention that "it wasn't the best location" because of the pillars that hold up the canopy and where the caterer would be set up. To be honest, I wasn't sure if she just didn't want to do the extra work this chair set up would require. From that encounter on Gayle was extremely rude. When my bridesmaid and I showed up to the venue for the rehearsal she couldn't be bothered to even say hello. My bridesmaid had to go up to her to ask her for assistance. She even cut off my then fiancé mid sentence when he was trying to explain our song choices for the ceremony to the bridal party. Gayle had said she would be our day of coordinator at no extra cost because she could easily manage 100 guests, and that she would only need 1 maybe 2 helpers to set up and assist during the wedding. (The helpers are not included in the venue fee, they are extra.) At the rehearsal, the night BEFORE the wedding she claimed to not remember these conversations and that she is the venue manager not the coordinator, and that she would need 3 helpers, not 2. We were clearly not happy about this, and reminded her that was not what we had agreed, nor what we had been led to believe throughout the months we had been speaking with her. I had filled out her checklist and information forms and drawn a map of how the dinner tables should be set up and numbered. Per her instructions, I had also included a list of the decorations we wanted to use from the courtyard and where they should go. I sent these to her via email days before the wedding. The day of the wedding none of this was set up properly! My mom had to "remind" her of the decorations and where they needed to go. Despite being given the detailed map of how the tables were to be arranged for the reception, how they were to be numbered and how many chairs per table, the tables were arranged completely wrong!! This resulted in our entire bridal party and some close family members being seated in the back! What was her response when my husband and MOH reminded her I had sent the email with the map? "Oh my guys didn't see this. They set up like we normally do." During the reception she proceeded to shut down the bar early and even had the audacity to tell the bartenders not to serve drinks to the entertainers my mom had hired. She also had me, the bride, sign the invoice for the caterer. Overall our wedding was lovely and the venue was beautiful. The Courtyard is great. It would be much better if it came without Gayle.

d you walk in, you’re transported into a storybook wedding! I admit I was doubtful at first, I’ve grown up in the area since I was young and only seen the venue from the outside. The outside does not give the venue justice! I highly suggest taking a visit there to see the inside, because you will instantly realize what I did, that I had no idea something so beautiful sat so close to me this whole time!!! And the package includes a DJ, DJ Jerry, and he was absolutely amazing and professional! He also has a photobooth for purchase and it is a must if you want a fun wedding! We had his photobooth at our wedding and the guests loved it and now we have a ton of great memories in a photo album they made of the photo strips! Such a great time!

dding planner, I work with new venues almost every weekend, and this team really has it together. I would highly suggest taking a visit there to see it yourself, you'll fall in love right away. As a side note, Jerry the DJ (who is included in the package) was fantastic and incredibly professional as well. He brought in his photobooth and the guests loved it and the attendants.

ating vendor I have ever worked with: she understood our need for a rushed wedding so my brother could be there after his deployment and she gave us the cheapest rate regardless of what day we chose. We didn't hire her as the coordinator, but she was there (even coming in early so my bridal party and I could get ready at the courtyard) all day. She was so attentive and it made for a stress free day. We did have a bit of a miscommunication about hired staff, but it was well worth the extra money to have them there to take care of my guests. The only negatives I have to say are that the cocktail hour was not set up when my guests arrived and the limo air conditioning did not work - and for a wedding in August, that was a bit problematic. Other than that, I am SO happy I found this little hidden gem!

ter and I could not get this beautiful venue out of my mind. They were so unbelievably easy to work with, and the day of coordinator, Gayle, made my day come together so beautifully. I am so happy I was able to work with someone who truly loves what she does and was able to put together my day better then what was in my head. I only wish I could have been a guest at my wedding to see how it all ran, from what I heard it was as beautiful and smooth as I could imagine :)

les and does everything she can to make your day perfect! The venue is in great condition and really gave us the garden feel we were looking for. We set up a cigar bar outside the side gate and that really was perfect! The smoke never touched any of the guests inside the walls of the courtyard and the cigar fans could enjoy their time! Do not be put off by the fact that the venue is in the back of a shipping center. It is truly a hidden gem in the back corner and the most affordable venue you will find in the area!

nd ultimately choose our own vendors and do our own thing. Gayle, the coordinator, was extremely professional. She went above and beyond, and I'm sure I don't even know all the loose ends she tied together and things she did behind the scenes to make everything work. The facility works very, very well with the flow of traffic. We had both our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception there and it went wonderfully. Her service staff is very efficient, and Jerry the DJ was also a blast to work with. Without an official wedding planner I was nervous to plan a larger wedding without professional help, but Gayle was just the right amount of supportive. She anticipated my every need before the wedding and certainly the day-of. She is extremely hard working but keeps the mood of the event so calm and serene. It was supposed to pour rain the day-of and they had pop-up tents ready and took every measure to ensure the day still went smoothly... and apart from a bit of drizzle, it was fine! I cannot thank them enough and I highly, highly recommend working with Gayle and her team.

sonal. She almost feels like a mom walking through the process with you making sure you have everything and also helping you stay within your budget. The courtyard worked for us because it allows outside catering. If you really want to personalize your wedding and don't want a place where they supply everything (I needed options!), then this is the place for you. Not to mention it's gorgeous! It may come off as unassuming considering it's in a strip mall, but tucked in the back I swear you are transported and forget where you're at. When I first drove by I thought, no way! But came back a few weeks later with my husband in the evening when all the lights were on and the fountains were flowing- we fell in love with it. A beautiful organza tent goes up November-March (we got married in February) and it really transforms the space and makes it look so elegant. Our guests really liked it too! We loved our wedding and Gayle and the Courtyard played a huge part. We are so appreciative for all Gayle did for us and happily look back on our wedding day. No headaches at the Courtyard,- Gayle will make sure of that!

lems was the venue coordinator Leslie and the DJ they provided. The coordinator got in a yelling match with my florist because she only would allow one vase per table even though we planned for three. So she threw the vases I paid for in the trash. When the florist confronted Leslie she ended up calling her a racial obscurity in front of a few of my guests. Then the DJ was so sweet and nice to me and my now husband but I am getting many complaints from my guests that he was very rude to them. He also failed to announce my bouquet toss and garter toss to any of my guests. Many have told me how upset they are that they missed out. I dealt with Gayle the other coordinator mostly before the wedding and she was amazing so I am sure not everyone will have this terrible of an experience.

extreme heat of 102 degrees at 5pm with nearly 200 guests and family subjected to sitting directly in the sweltering hot without any shade, canopy, umbrellas, to protect the sun sensitive and the elderly. The operators of the facility should be ashamed of themselves knowing full well the heat wave would affect many people, some who left before the event finished. Imagine dressed formally in this hot weather with only a bottle of water and a limited few parasols to hand out. Further, phone calls made a day or so earlier were never returned, a shortage of seating for the guests was noticed. Guests were left to stand up without seating for appetizers after the ceremony and table service was in short supply until set up nearly an hour later. Lines were formed for the only 2- restrooms unable to handle smoothly, the 200 guests. I have been to many wedding in my life and the family suffered needlessly from the heat and the wedding cake was gone before all had a slice. Added to insult, there was no coffee served after dinner or for desert. The one and only enclosed air conditioned room was opened late for dancing by the young bridal party and young friends and guests, total about 40 capacity. The elderly guests were left outside in the humid heat of the night at which point by 10:00pm it was down to 95 degrees. Out of town guests left disgusted and comments about your facility were heard by many as the night went on for the young couple. Sadly, they were not too concerned because it was their special night. The parent who paid for the event tried to make the best praise for getting through the sad situation. I have never experienced a wedding like this one. Your facility is pretty at night with the fountain and the twinkling lights but no place to book for a heatwave without a protective cover at any price. Your bargin wedding package is suitable only for cooler weather and under 150 guests. I suggest you compensate the paying parent for the lack of many things that should have been covered in advance. Something for shade should be kept on hand for daytime events like this one with a heatwave without extra cost to customer. Your reviews will reflect better if this were done. Return calls more promptly is advised as well. Be aware of this venue!
