My wedding day would not have been the amazing, incredible, joyful day that it was without Julia. Having been a part of many weddings, I know how hectic and chaotic things can get - and I've seen my fair share of stressed brides and family running around making sure every vendor has been paid and troubleshooting random issues that come up (shuttle buses, missing decorations, you name it). While we had a clear vision of what we wanted our wedding day to look and feel like, I knew we would need help bringing it to life. When Julia asked me to describe what I hoped for in a planner, I basically just said "I just want myself, my fiance and our family to be calm, relaxed, and present the whole day". Having Julia there made it possible for that wish to come true. She was in close contact with me in the weeks leading up to the ceremony - assuring me that she had every tiny detail covered and bringing up things I hadn't even thought of. She carefully reviewed every contract, timeline, and list, to make sure there were no inconsistencies, errors, or questions. She coordinated with all of our vendors to ensure seamless drop-off and setup, and she wrote out a detailed timeline for all of our wedding party, family and VIPs, to keep everyone on schedule and informed. I'm pretty confident that there are many, many little things she handled on our wedding day without me ever knowing - and this allowed me to be fully present and relaxed all day long. I can't recommend her more highly as a planner - she's calm, incredibly organized and detail oriented, and you know that she's got your back no matter what happens. She's also just an incredibly delightful person to be around! Julia, thank you for making my wedding day even better than I ever imagined!

Julia was a pleasure to work with! We hired her as a day-of coordinator and turned everything over to her in the week before our wedding. We were able to be completely present and in the moment on our day. Our wedding was absolutely flawless, and we have Julia to thank for that!!

Julia was a wonderful day of coordinator for us. She really did make sure that I did not have to worry about anything on the big day. She took care of everything from getting the linens on the tables to hanging the escort cards, plus so much more. She's also really someone I enjoyed having around...she has the ability to make sure things get done without stepping on anyone's toes. I'm so glad I had her there!

Hiring Down the Aisle Events was a no-brainer decision when my finacee became engaged and we started planning our wedding. I have seen Julia in action at several weddings where I have been either guest, attendant or officiant. Without fail, Julia is professional, cheerful, honest and gentle, consistent and even tempered. She is worth so much more than the money you will actually spend. The preparation worksheet I received well ahead of our big day helped me stay organized and on track with things I needed to do and when I started to panic that I might not get done, we met with Julia and went over the list and my stress vanished! Our wedding day was FLAWLESS! I wasn't aware of any snags, snafu's or giant blunders, if there were any, because Julia made it known to everyone that I was not to be bothered. As a result, my husband and I agree that our wedding day was the happiest, most enjoyable day of our lives!

Julia was absolutely invaluable. She orchestrated my rehearsal, ceremony and reception and all I really had to do was show up and look pretty! :) I can't say enough about Julia. I didn't want myself or my mother to get carried away, concerned with details on the day of my wedding. Julia made sure that didn't happen! If you can afford it, get a wedding planner. And if you're getting a wedding planner, get Julia!!
