Kerry answered all of our questions and responded quickly to the many follow up questions we had as the day approached. Nowhere other than the Downingtown Country Club (DCC) will you find quality of service, affordability, and most importantly a beautiful and well cared for venue. Another factor that made Downingtown Country Club stand out among other venues in the area was the staff’s professionalism and promptness to respond to any and all questions. Throughout the wedding planning process I worked with Kerry Connors, who is anything short of incredible at her job. She truly went above and beyond catering to any requests I had. I was planning my wedding out of state, which definitely makes the planning process all the more hectic, but Kerry was extremely accommodating making sure to promptly answer all questions and concerns and provided support and reassurance along the way. The menu and food at DCC was another one of many reasons we decided to go with this venue- our deepest compliments to Chef Brad who did an outstanding job on the food at our wedding, we receive compliments time and time again on the quality, presentation, and deliciousness of the food throughout and well after our reception. Another aspect that made me confident that I wanted to go with DCC was their all-encompassing services; we were able to have our ceremony and reception all in one location which eliminated the need for our guests to concern themselves with transportation from one location to another, the bridal and grooms suite on-site which allowed for myself and our bridal party to get ready directly before the ceremony took place which meant not having to worry about getting my makeup and hair done earlier in the morning and the potential for it to wear off later in the day, and the packages offered at DCC included our own custom cake and floral services from our choice of three outstanding local bakeries/ florist, which meant that we could rest easy knowing that DCC worked directly with other trusted vendors to make the some of the most significant parts of the planning process (deciding on cake flavors, design, floral center pieces and types of flowers) straightforward and painless. DCC also offered a preferred list of vendors (photographers, DJ, and such), which helped me to simplify the search and vetting process of outside vendors. On the day of our wedding we had a personal attendant who was there to accommodate us in any ways we needed as well as making sure everything went according to plan and we were on schedule (something that is very difficult to do when you are a bride and get caught up talking with family and friends). Travis and I cannot thank the staff at DCC for their support and dedication to ensure that everything was perfect and just as we envisioned on our wedding day!

e top of our list for reception venues. After a visit to another venue that left us disappointed, we went to DCC to check it out. From the moment we walked through the doors and met Kerry and Joe, we were sold. Kerry is the most down-to-earth and caring person and Joe is just the same. They whole-heartedly cared about us and helping us make our special day exactly how we wanted it. Kerry was with us each step of the way (even through her maternity leave!!). Joe was always there to help us out or to walk us through whatever questions we had. Kerry was so flexible with meeting dates and times and would meet with us whenever we needed, no matter how late in the evening. On the day of, Kerry was by my side, making sure each and every detail was perfect and making sure all of me and my girls needs were met while we were getting ready. I cannot express the gratitude my husband and I have for everyone at DCC. They are a top notch group of people that genuinely care about you and your special day. I would highly recommend them to anyone who asks! Heck, if we could do it all again, they would be my first choice for sure!

Kerry was always there to answer all my questions, and there were many, to getting the dance floor size right for our first dance, to the food, thecroom layout, etc. She had an assistant with us all day helping us with getting ready for pictures,and guiding the photographer to the best locations, to hopping in the limo to the church and back to the Downingtown CC for more pictures, to the cocktail hour ,dinner and dancing. Everything was just amazing and perfect. My guests are still talking about how much fun and beautiful the wedding reception was. I would not hesitate to do it all over again with Kerry. I felt pampered all day and the service and attention to detail was superb!

On the day she was here all day setting things up making sure everything was In order. I don’t know that my wedding day would have been the same without her help and coordination!

for a wedding, both inside and outside. Christina and Kerry were wonderful to work with throughout our entire engagement and leading up to the wedding. They answered any question we had at any point and always made us feel comfortable and calm. They were also so accommodating with any crazy idea or decoration I had in my head throughout the whole process and set it all up exactly how I wanted it. For our wedding on September 8th, things got a little hectic on my end, but only because the weather was uncooperative – no two weather reports were the same that morning, one calling for rain during the ceremony and another for nothing until later in the evening. Two hours before the scheduled ceremony time, Christina asked me to make the final decision, and we moved the ceremony inside and the entire staff worked miracles to get the entire thing set-up in such a short time. And I really mean that it looked like they pulled every single person who was working at the country club that day to make sure it was perfect before the first guest arrived. My personal attendant Downingtown provided, Leigh Ann, was just beyond amazing. I didn’t have a chance to want anything because she had it for me before I even realized I needed it, including food, drinks, and more. She went around with us for the pictures to make sure my dress looked perfect in every shot, and even got down on her hands and knees to wash some of the mud that had gotten on my dress while doing the outside photos. I really can’t express my gratitude for everything she did for myself, my now-husband, my wedding party, and even my parents. The food at Downingtown was spectacular, and all my guests raved about it (and continue to two weeks later). The entire atmosphere and the wedding itself was just perfect. It was everything I could have hoped for and more. If we had the option to re-do our wedding, I would pass because there is nothing I would change about it. Downingtown Country Club is, to put it simply, a WONDERFUL and PERFECT place to have a wedding.

Downingtown and when I saw the look on my husbands face when we visited I knew it was going to be the one. From the moment that we met Kerry, the wedding coordinator, we were instantly captivated and decided to have our wedding at the country club. Kerry and her team worked with us to make sure it met our budget criteria. Not only that, Kerry gave me the time to sit down with her and work out all the kinks I was not able to figure out on my own. She was simply fantastic through the entire process! The day of our wedding Kerry and her team were prepared for our arrival and made sure everything went super smooth. It allowed for my husband and I not to worry about a thing. Our guests raved about the FOOD and the wonderful atmosphere that was created. The grounds also allowed for us to take wonderful pictures with out photographers! I would highly recommend Downingtown Country club to any newly engaged couple to make sure you check it out!

Kerry Connors made us feel at ease from the beginning, worked with us closely throughout the entire process and when she had to transfer some of the oversight to Sharon Hegney, the transition was seamless. Both were an absolute delight to work with, addressing every detail, calming me when I was getting a little overwhelmed and making sure that I laughed throughout the planning. Our wedding on 8/12/17, was hands down the best day of our lives. The details were perfect, the food was incredible and the staff didn't miss a beat. Our guests all raved about the food and the amount of it! The reception room design and tablescapes were beautiful. We highly recommend this venue to all. We couldn't have asked for a better day, coordinator, venue, and food!

ordinators at DCC, and they were wonderful from start to finish, especially during those moments when I would ask them a ton of questions :) They didn't mind at all, and were very happy to listen and answer every single one of them. When we booked DCC, they were working on some updates to the ballroom and outdoor ceremony area. The updates look fantastic, and it has more of a modern look to it. They were very open with us about all of the updates and painted a picture in our minds of how everything would look. They seemed really excited about the updates, which made us feel even better about booking without everything being finished. Everything on the day of the wedding went very smoothly. We got so many compliments from our guests on many things about the venue: how beautiful it was, how delicious all of the food was, how awesome the bartenders were, etc. They really took care of the wedding party and the guests. And the chocolate room!! That was a big hit :) We entrusted the folks at DCC with figuring out where our decorations should go. The bride and groom definitely have the option to tell them where they want everything to be, but I didn't want to think about it at that point (I was just ready to get married). I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! They made everything look so elegant, and it all looked absolutely perfect. And Sharon had some great ideas and solutions to any issues I was facing (i.e. a round table wasn't big enough to fit all of the wedding party and significant others, and she suggested a King's table instead of trying to split the party between 2 rounds). There were only a couple of little things that I can really nit-pick about: The bridal suite and the ballroom felt on the warmer side. They had the AC in the ballroom as low as it could go, so it was definitely due to the number of guests we had. And all of our guests were up on the dance floor all night, so that probably added to it. At the end of the night, there was a TON of cake left. The groom and I had mentioned that we were running back to the hotel to get changed and then would be back to pick up decorations and any leftover food. When we got back to the venue about 30 minutes later, they had thrown out all of the cake, which I was really bummed about because I hadn't gotten a chance to have any at the reception (besides the one bite when we cut the cake). They reached out to us afterward and told us that they were sincerely sorry for this and that they were ordering us a small cake from our vendor to enjoy. Definitely super impressed and appreciative of this kind gesture! Overall, our experience with Downingtown Country Club was excellent. We are extremely happy with our choice :) We absolutely recommend them for your wedding!!

venue within a few weeks. Before we met Kerry, we were starting to despair of finding a venue in our budget! With Kerry and the Downingtown Country Club, simply saying “they were willing to work within our budget,” fails to fully capture the flexibility and generosity we felt we were shown. We had a strict budget, and she created a package, including an open bar, at a very affordable rate for us. (We even got to include an ice cream sundae bar and a gourmet mac and cheese station that was a hit with many of our guests!) DCC was by far the most affordable and flexible venue when compared to similar country-club/all-inclusive venues in the area. Additionally, after we received RSVP’s for a headcount slightly below our original guaranteed minimum, Kerry worked hard to make sure we still were fairly treated! On the evening of the reception, Kerry was present to welcome us, even though she was 8 months pregnant at the time! Sharon, the other wedding coordinator, stayed for the course of the entire evening and was fantastic. She helped the DJ keep the evening moving, and had the whole order of the evening covered, even when we asked her if we could extend the event by a half hour. The space itself is gorgeous! They’ve updated the curtains, and the bar area, since we had originally booked with them. The decorations were exactly how I had pictured them, and the space was the perfect size for our 165 guests. We loved the choices of all the linen colors and chair covers, loved the house centerpieces so much that we decided to use them at our reception. My husband and I made our rounds during dinner to say hello to our guests, and many of them had positive comments about the food and the overall atmosphere! Thank you to everyone at the Downingtown Country Club for helping us have such a beautiful celebration!

The whole day went smoothly, the food was INCREDIBLE (multiple people said it was one of the best steaks they had ever eaten, not just at a wedding), the service was fast and organized. I would recommend Downingtown Country Club to anyone. While we were able to have our ceremony outdoors, there is also plenty of room inside for an indoor ceremony if needed or desired. Beautiful photo locations as well, and golf carts were provided for us, the photographer, and the videographer.

We initially booked due to the wonderful service and personality of the club manager, Joe Dillon, who actually wound up officianting the wedding because we enjoyed his personality. We were very impressed with the staff from the golf club to the wedding coordination. We had a wonderful night! I feel like a wedding with three kids under seven and in scorching heat was chaotic enough, but DCC helped reduce the craziness so we could enjoy the night. Everyone commented on the beautiful wedding location and reception. Just a side note: Sharon was amazing the day of helping with anything and everything!!

uary of 2015, shortly before it came under new ownership. I loved it then but ever since new ownership came in it has gotten even better! The ceremony space has been updated to include a pergola and a waterfall. It's gorgeous and has just that little extra touch that's perfect for the ceremony. My wedding coordinator was Kerry Connors and, honestly, she is a wedding angel! Kerry took copious notes to ensure that everything and anything I had asked for she remembered. She remembered things even I forgot! Like any bride, I got stressed out a few times leading up to the wedding but after any meeting with Kerry, I was instantly much calmer. She worked with me to really create the perfect day. The day of the wedding was a blur. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate as it should have! It was cold and rainy even though the wedding was April 29. It has always been a dream for me to have my wedding outside, and Kerry knew this. So she did everything in her power for the wedding to remain outside. The rain held off and we were able to get married outside!! I also, unfortunately, came down with a stomach virus the day of the wedding. Needless to say, I was not feeling up to par at all. Kerry was quick to assist me. She even offered to run out herself and get medicine. Every single staff member I came into contact with was nothing but kind, professional, and accommodating. Not only is Kerry professional and absolutely amazing at her job (I would say the best in the business), but she is a real sweetheart, too. My grandmother died leading up to the wedding which, as the date got closer, made things very emotional. She was quick to offer a hug and a kind word. Honestly, if you want a stress free wedding this is the place to book! I would recommend this venue over and over!
