Nicole and her team at Dreams In Detail do such an amazing job setting up events! The renderings they create are super detailed, and I got to see firsthand how much effort and intention goes into bringing them to life. Everything is thoughtfully designed and looks even better in person. They are true professionals and can make any space stunning!
I can't say enough about Dreams in Detail. They found us a great venue, recommended top notch vendors, and handled every last detail. We got to enjoy the day instead of worrying about logistics. If you want a team that gets it done, this is it!
Where do I begin? I started working with Ashley from Dreams in Detail March of 2023 for our wedding June of 2024. Working along side her for almost a year we became family. I have never been more understood and guided in such confidence and reassurance. Me who I thought would be torn apart by the wedding planning process was able to enjoy every single detail of wedding planning with Ashley by my side. What I thought I wanted for my wedding weekend was far surpassed when my husband and I showed up for our wedding. I’ve never cried more happy tears at just the visions in front of us at every turn. My husband came out of his shell whenever asked about our experience with Ashley. A once shy man was moving mountains to tell anyone asking how amazing she is and who was in charge of how perfect this weekend was. He became her biggest supporter for not only helping us but for creating this entire weekend but for her unwavering support to me. Ashley and her team had thought of everything and had everything set up so beautifully. Even name tags they took time to place perfectly and cared about what I would think. I can’t say enough positive things about my experience. I am a very detailed bride but I trusted the process and Ashley allowed me to enjoy it. She kept me going every single day. With a groom that was more relaxed in the process she stepped in as my “groom” and completely guided me from head to toe. Its like she held my hand and never let go once I committed to her and her team. She understood everything I wanted and always had a way to surprise me and show me where details mattered and where they didn’t. I’m so glad I listened to her and we came together to create the wedding of a century. Our wedding memories will have us in the clouds forever. The value of Ashley’s work is unparalleled. I work in luxury sales and her dedication to the client, the vision, the couple, the florals, the entire day or weekend is far and few. She is so special to us. If you are looking for someone who knows the in’s and out’s of wedding planning, has the best connections, and knows all the best recommendations for band, florals and vendors of all types, run don’t walk to work with her! I have never heard more guests losing their mind before during and after over everything Ashley put together. The band and florals will go down in history as 153 peoples favorite wedding of their lives. She always entered the room positive and smiling and looking for ways to help. She thought of everything. She knew the game plan for every single detail. Had golf carts ready to transport the bridal party, one for the bride and groom, kept everyone hidden to keep the surprise, she just had a way about her that you get through the day and you’re like I felt nothing no pull no stress no worries nothing to do but enjoy and take it all in. I can’t believe how she does it she has the weight of the weekend on her shoulders and she made it so fun. I would even find myself watching her cheer my bridal party on for our big debut. She just knows how to lead a room and she exuded confidence. I was in the best hands and I can’t say enough amazing things about her. I will be in her life forever I owe her my entire future and happiness. I won the planner lotto! We are forever grateful for her and wish her nothing but the best!
Ashley and Nicole saved our wedding! Hallelujah!!! Originally, a friend was helping us plan, but that didn't work out. (Learn from this bride: Don't have a friend plan your wedding, if you value your friendship!) I'm an attorney with a demanding job, so I couldn't spend time ironing out details. We were more than a month away, and I felt stuck - I didn't know what to do! I found Dreams In Detail on the Knot, and I was excited about supporting a sista's business!! I remember our initial call with Ashley and Nicole. I felt heard and appreciated! We were back in business! The storm had ended! I became excited about the process again! I regained my power, and these lovely ladies helped me do it!
Ashley worked closely with my husband and I. We were both VERY impressed with Ashley's professionalism, organization, responsiveness, and overall kind soul! She is the Queen of Checklist and post-call summaries. We always knew what our tasks were; Ashley held us accountable. She served as our Wedding Oracle. Ashley is always multiple steps ahead! This ain't her first time at the rodeo. Ashley anticipates potential issues. She gives you options to deal with changes as they come. She respected our budget, which was critical! Ashley always addressed our questions and concerns. She always texted and emailed us back. We loved how she treated and respected our guests, especially those involved in the ceremony. Ashley is a great manager of vendors.
Ashley suggested two white roses in my bouquet for my parents. She left two seats in my front row for them, as well. It meant the world to me that she was sensitive to my grief. Throughout the wedding process, I really bonded with Ashley! She and I made a great team (that's the Virgo - Capricorn compatibility).

Ashley, Nicole & Marine planned our wedding starting a month after we got engaged to the day after our wedding. They became our favorite weekly meeting and the only people we trusted when it came to hiring vendors, buying anything wedding related and a group of people we genuinely grew to love and deeply appreciate.
Their team went beyond the average wedding planner to make our wedding feel personal, magical and like a night we will never forget and that our family & friends will never forget while respecting our budget and helping get vendors we couldn’t even dream of without them IN OUR BUDGET! They truly are the ultimate dream team and fairy godmothers for their clients bringing magic to every event they're apart of. Every couple and bride needs them.
The day of the wedding (ours was a 3 day) they were on top of everything! From helping guest, setting up venue, vendors, delivering gifts & tips, checking in on everyone, taking care of anything that might be going on and creating a full production timeline to make sure each day is running smoothly. We didn't have to worry about anything. We got to enjoy our wedding to the fullest. They were the best decision we made when we started planning our wedding. Not only did we meet a team of amazing and talented women but we got to work with people who deeply care that the couples get to experience the wedding of their dreams (whatever that looks like) and actually enjoy every moment!
Because of them I was able to be present with my husband and family and friends at my wedding and they helped bring our dream wedding to life. I'd recommend them over and over again to everyone. They're top notch and have a heart for all clients.
Ashley was amazing and brought all of my ideas to life. Throughout the entire planning process she was helpful and informative. On the day of my wedding, I didn't need to worry about a thing because I knew Ashley, and the rest of the Dreams in Detail team, was fully capable to handle everything. My entire family commented on how helpful Ashley was and it was so great to be able to be more present with my family + friends on my wedding day. 10/10 would recommend the Dreams in Detail team.
Ashley Theimer is an absolute godsend! She surpassed all my expectations as a planner. Where to begin!
In the lead up to our wedding, we experienced multiple crises that Ashley handled with panache, grace, and professionalism.
We received a call two weeks prior to our wedding date from the venue manager, saying that due to Covid restrictions, they cannot hold 3 weddings in a row at the barn area of our venue, so they needed to move us to the owner's private home (on the property, but a completely different spot and setup). Ashley had just completed final walkthroughs with ALL our vendors at the original location, but didn't miss a beat, even while I was absolutely panicked. She drove out to the new venue site with 2 hours' notice, on a Sunday, to map out the location and begin producing a CAD drawing to provide the vendors to begin formulating a new floor plan. She led the meeting like a champ, negotiating new terms with the venue manager, pushing back when they backpedaled and became unreasonable, and advocated for me at every turn. I truly can't imagine what would have happened if she wasn't on my team. When the wedding day came, she executed it to perfection, and was the LAST person on site, supervising the venue manager's "inspection" to make sure they didn't try to charge me for something unnecessary... which they tried to. Let's just say that this particular venue seems to try to charge you for any and everything they can sneak by you, and they hit a brick wall with Ashley. She wasn't having it! In addition, we had about 15 people fall ill with Covid in the week leading up to the wedding, which threw the seating chart/catering into disarray. Ashley helped coordinate these changes with the caterer, advised me on how to best adjust the seating without overcomplicating the situation, and settled the issue.
Ashley is kind, but firm. She is a consummate professional; she is a boss. She is the captain you want on your ship in a storm. Once you communicate your vision to her, she knows exactly how to weave it seamlessly throughout your event. She keeps you on a reasonable, doable schedule during the planning process, completing tasks in order of urgency, and mapping things out with more than enough time. She touches base often, giving you status updates, reminding you of tasks you need to complete, popping in with ideas you might not have considered, or offering ways to save money (such as buying tablecloths & table number holders on amazon instead of renting them for triple the price, etc).
Ashley was fully available to me, 7 days a week, nearly 24 hours a day. There were times when I was shooting her emails at 10:30pm, to which she promptly responded. When I called her during the day, she never once missed my call, picking it up by the 3rd ring, even while she was physically setting up at other weddings. She has connections and relationships with vendors that will often lend you a level of service, or price, that is unavailable to others. There was a florist who wanted to charge me almost $40k for florals, and Ashley was able to get me the same thing for less than half the price. She understands the ins and outs of contracts, the industry norms, and she spots red flags immediately.
To say I highly recommend Ashley is an understatement. I can't imagine my wedding becoming a reality without her.
Dreams in Detail put together a perfect wedding weekend for us. We had a two-day affair with an Indian & Western ceremony, and everything went perfectly. We highly recommend Ashley, our main wedding planner & her team! Ashley spent so much time trying to learn about all the South Indian cultural aspects of it to make sure everything was taken care of; she helped us book the perfect florist and rentals for our big day(s) and made sure that we had nothing to worry about. We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding day. Huge thank you to Ashley, Nicole, April and the rest of the team!!
I can’t stop this constant memory of the most beautiful wedding ceremony, and it was mine! Nicole and Ashley put together something straight out of a vogue weddings magazine. I told her I wanted something timeless and elegant, and they delivered. What I really admire is the quality of the flowers, rentals, and vendors who were there. It was luxury on all levels.
Dreams In Detail has a team of incredible women who create art! I received endless compliments from guests telling me that they have never seen a more stunning wedding. We felt so proud of what was produced and felt like it was money well spent! We were surrounded by a cherry blossom dream, with 10 ft white cherry blossom trees everywhere. A masterpiece.
The details are what set Nicole apart from any other planner!!!!!! From the unique items inside of the welcome bags to the signature drink menu names, to how she incorporated our pets who couldn’t be there in person in the best way, amazed me! She personalized every aspect of our wedding and it truly felt like our own. I understand now how important it is so pick a planner who really “gets you” instead of who just fits the budget. We paid more for a planner than we initially wanted but it proved to be the best investment we could have made. Nicole is priceless! My favourite detail she thought of was when we told her very casually our love for butterflies and immediately, she coordinated a beautiful butterfly release at the end of the ceremony. Everything matters to her and I love it!
There were so many times during the wedding process where I turned to my husband and said “I am so glad we have her” when talking about Ashley. The wedding day and night were perfect. When we got ready for the day everything was on schedule and running smoothly, Ashley was in control of the vendors, timeline, and guests every step of the way. She was a true professional through it all. One thing I really wanted was for my reception to feel like the best dance party ever! Ashley made sure the floral installation over the dance floor was full of long and cascading in the most beautiful way, and then on the truss they had lighting that reflected down to the dance floor and created the most gorgeous club vibe. It was the best night of my life and there are no words to describe the feeling I had that night and even as I reflect on it. Hiring Ashley was essential!
I am going to cut to the chase here – Nicole got us through a COVID nightmare! We rescheduled twice and Nicole navigated us through uncharted territory like a BOSS! She went beyond the scope of her position and came up with 3 backup plans, put safety measures in place, and came up with the most unique ideas for us along the way to make our wedding special. She thought of the coolest ways to inform guests of the date changed and helped us get married twice! Once for our mini-ceremony and then again when guests felt safe to celebrate. I do not say this lightly – we could not have done any of this without her!!
Nicole, Ashley, and her team are the best planners in the world! I have been a bridesmaid 5 times so I have seen so many weddings and planners and I can confidently say I have never experienced better! We hired Nicole for our wedding at the Four Seasons and Nicole, Ashley, and their team coordinated every aspect of the wedding from start to finish. They were organized, beautiful, and I had a great time with them! We cared about every detail, every guest, and every aspect of the day and I loved how it felt like they cared about that even more than we did. They did not miss a single detail and made sure all guests were happy and most importantly that me and my husband were happy!
Nicole created a fairytale! From beginning to end she showed me design mockups and explained this dream of a transformation in detail since I lacked vision initially. It was hard for me to see an empty ballroom and understand what it could be. Nicole has incredible vision, creativity, and taste and was able to transform an empty ballroom into a whimsical fairytale wedding. The ballroom was unrecognizable! Not only is Nicole the best wedding planner in the business, but she is the best designer in the business. A true visionary. She is amazing and I could go on and on. Thank you Nicole!
The ladies at Dreams In Detail seriously curated perfection from scratch! We got married at a private estate and we had to bring in every vendor and turn a space that was absolutely not a venue, into the venue of my dreams. I was impressed by the organization of it all and I felt like I was in good hands throughout the entire process because of this. For example, they built a budget spreadsheet and updated it along the way so I was fully aware of all of the costs involved and was able to understand where we were financial. I loved how much she listed to our budget needs, vision, and wants/needs. We really felt heard and like she was ready to figure out how to get us the wedding we wanted, within our budget. I am very grateful for everything!
What can I say? I have no idea where to begin. I looked everywhere for the best wedding planner who will suit my needs. After what felt like forever of looking on Instagram, the knot, and google for planners I found Nicole. I saw her Instagram stories and tiktoks and felt like she was the perfect combination of fun and fancy. She was exactly that! She designed the wedding of my dreams and I was in shock at how it all came together. But also! She made the process so much fun, like best friends fun. Nicole really understood that I wanted perfection but without the stress on my end. Every detail was thought of, every item from the stationary to the vendors chosen, to the perfect alignment of the candles in the vases on the table… it all mattered to her and it showed! I would pick Nicole again and I recommend her to everyone.
I could not recommend Dreams In Detail with higher regard. With our very intimate wedding party of 9 people, I could not believe how much planning still needed to be done. DID offered the perfect micro wedding package for month-of and day-of services. Ashley was our point person day of and she had an answer for every single question (and there was a hundred). She had forethought and execution - and for two control freaks like my husband and I - that’s hard to find ! She made sure my dress was perfect at all times and took all of our iPhone photos of the ceremony that were were able to share with our family and friends that night. Everything went off without a hitch. We finished our photos at the beach 2 minutes AHEAD of schedule - the Type A love language LOL. I cant say enough how integral she was to our day - truly magic. 5 stars all around.
Hiring Nicole to plan my engagement was the best decision I have ever made. I couldn't plan a more perfect proposal if I tried (and I tried). At the time covid had a lot of restrictions and it was difficult to find the perfect location for my proposal. Nicole and her team not only effortlessly found a location but planned the most beautiful proposal my fiance will never forget.
There are not enough positive words in the English language to capture my praise and gratitude for Nicole and her team. She is an exceptional planner and an even better person and my best advice to you all is this: book Nicole asap if you want a PERFECT event.
When I first met Nicole at a bridal show, I immediately felt connected to her. She is smart, resourceful, compassionate and most importantly, assertive -- a perfect combination of qualities for an event planner. Even though I had no money in the budget for a coordinator, I knew that I needed Nicole in order to create and complete my dream wedding. I dug deep in my pockets to make it happen, and Nicole was worth every last penny. As an obsessive and controlling bride who is almost impossible to impress, Nicole was everything I could have ever wanted and so much more.
The best money we spent on our wedding was on Nicole! Over the months of planning I kept asking my fiancé what was wrong with me because I felt zero stress. He reminded me over and over again it was because Nicole was doing such a fabulous job and I trusted her. He was right and the entire planning process was painless and seamless. Every question I had, Nicole was already on it. The wedding was one for the books! We cannot think of a single thing that didn't go as planned. It was a week we will never forget and we will always be grateful we hired Dreams In Detail!
Nicole was absolutely fantastic!!! Nicole is extremely understanding and considerate of what the bride and groom want, even if it presents organizational challenges. We had some weather issues on our wedding day, and Nicole did an unbelievable job making sure we kept our ceremony outside as I wanted. She got each of our guests umbrellas in case the rain started up again.I cannot thank Nicole enough for making our wedding so special and I truly recommend her to anyone.
I'm not sure where to begin writing my review for our experience with Dreams In Detail. When planning your wedding, you want to make sure that everything is perfect from the decor, to the music to the food, and Nicole did just that. She not only helped coordinate between vendors, but she was patient and most importantly LISTENED to our needs and wants. She understood any concerns we brought to the table, and was able to make sure we went into the weekend stress free. Nicole brought some unique ideas to the table, and really just went above and beyond all weekend.
Nicole planned my destination wedding in CANCUN!!! It was the best experience ever and I have to rave about her. Nicole is absolutely the best wedding planner a bride could ever dream of having. Aside from being incredibly detail oriented, she has a powerful sense of calm that is entirely necessary for planning such an event. Nicole has the most amazing connections in the industry, even internationally and has developed relationships with the best, most professional vendors. I knew I was in good hands with her but nothing could have prepared me for how beautifully everything came together. My wedding was flawless, as though it had been rehearsed 100 times. It was a surprisingly stress-free process and I had a lot of fun working with her. I could not recommend her more strongly.
Nicole of Dreams in detail is the absolute BEST in the business and I could never thank her enough for how she made our destination wedding day so perfect. She is worth every penny. And more.From the moment Nicole took on our disorganized and already over-budget wedding, we felt this instant sense of relief. This lady is CONNECTED, let me tell you. The vendors adore her and respect her beyond measure. She is the most thorough, organized person I have ever had the pleasure of working with. As a super TYPE A personality, who could drive any person mad with my never-ending list of questions, I couldn't believe that not 1 of the ridiculous requests I came up with even so much as fazed Nicole. Nicole may be extremely busy, but will make time for you at any time of day and calm you down from any many forthcoming meltdowns. And she never skips a beat--doesn't miss one detail, not one email. Not one guest that wasn't counted. Not one vendor timeline request. When you ask for something, she replies in seconds. SECONDS! She will follow up with you 5x in the same week when she needs your answers to keep you on track (with time). She'll also give you a nice reality check when your dreams just cannot be achieved within your budget—which is so important when planning a lavish wedding. I could never find the right words to recommend a person as highly qualified as Nicole--she is quite simply the BEST
Do yourself one big favor. Hire Nicole at Dreams in Detail and you will have made the single best decision of the entire wedding planning process. Mark my words. And do it before you pick your venue--the earlier, the better. Even more time to spend with her!
Whew! I couldn't have done it without her, thats for sure! Nicole was such a lifesaver on so many levels. I had hired her for the month of/day of and she made sure everything and anything was taken care of. If you're considering a wedding planner look no further! And if you're not sure if you need one or not, you do. She thought of things that never crossed my mind. Most importantly she makes the day of as stress free as possible!
Next to finding your groom, hiring your event planner will be one of your most crucial decisions you will make. Nicole has been a godsend. I cannot thank her enough for her level of professionalism and commitment to my event. She was able to execute our vision beyond what we could expect. She was a calming force during the whole process, which is refreshing because as a bride to be, this process can be stressful and overwhelming. Between dealing with the vendors, getting thru sticky situations, and being organized and keeping me up to date throughout the process, no task was too challenging or impossible for her.
Where to begin... I could not have had my dream wedding without Nicole. After our first meeting, I knew she would be exactly what we needed. I typically like to be in charge of EVERYTHING and both the groom and I have lots of opinions on design, set-ups, etc. With our wedding plans, we decided that we were both already too busy at work that we would leave it up to her to make sure it was a spectacular! Nicole was timely, honest and very detailed oriented. I am a big believer in everything happens for a reason and out of all of the planners we picked her and there was clearly no better choice! Thank you Nicole!
Nicole lived up to her reputation. I hired her for day-of coordination initially and then opted for partial planning when I started to get behind. Nicole immediately hopped in to save the day to help with all of the vendor coordination in the couple of months leading up to the wedding. Now I understand why other brides who don't hire coordinators are stressed out close to the date - they have to do that themselves. I didn't have to lift a finger when it came to confirm the vendors would show up, what time they would show up, what parking validations they'd need, meals they'd need, summarizing their contact info for the vendors, etc. All of those tiny details, Nicole handled effortlessly! I couldn't have been happier with my choice of coordinators. I also had a few last minute (day of!) changes in the guest list, and she and her assistants took care of all of the downstream effects. I also hired Nicole for her tree rental services and while I provided the overall vision from my pinterest pics, again, the tiny details like the best places to display the trees and the design details are where Nicole really stepped in to complete the look... she and her rental team executed the design to my desires with very little input from me! Exactly what I was looking for
Hiring DID was the BEST decision! Nicole honestly exceeded our expectations. My husband and I had a clear picture of what we wanted our day to look like and Nicole made every wish come true. We had some wacky requests at times (like shots before the ceremony lol, or cars that had to drive to whole wedding party pretty far), but everything went so smoothly and Nicole seemed like she had everything under control the whole day! No question or request or change of idea was too much for her. She was professional, friendly and on point!!! Honestly, Nicole was the best investment of the whole wedding, our day would not have been as amazing without her. If I can give anyone advice when it comes to wedding planning, invest in your planner/coordinator, its worth it!!!! And well, if you are lucky enough to book Nicole, your wedding will be flawless
I recently worked with Nicole at Dreams In Detail for my 250-person wedding. She was such a lifesaver! She helped me have a wedding that reflected my and my husband's personalities and taste by keeping me on track as I thought through various options and details. She was also great at making sure I wasn't leaving anything out that I might want to consider. I really appreciated her calm, pleasant demeanor, which is a must when you're feeling a little frazzled by the craziness that planning a wedding can be.One of Nicole’s best qualities, in my opinion, is her honesty in telling you what she thinks of something combined with her belief that you should have the wedding of YOUR dreams, not HER dreams. I think Nicole got my vision for the kind of wedding my husband and I wanted to have very early in the process, so that made working through the details a lot easier.I am so glad that I had Nicole and her entire squad on my team to help me, my husband, and our friends, families and guests have a beautiful and wonderful day. Nicole is an exquisite wedding planner! She takes her job very seriously, and it shows in her work. I’ve never met anyone with a sense of style and taste quite like her. Nicole did an amazing job planning my dream wedding. She is punctual and very professional, but at the same time, she is young, creative and likes thinking outside of the box. I did not want a stuffy wedding, and Nicole understood and executed my vision perfectly. Only Nicole could seamlessly incorporate group tequila shots into a black tie wedding :) If you are looking for someone to take the stress out of wedding planning, Nicole is the planner for you. I actually enjoyed the wedding planning process because Nicole was doing all the legwork, and I just made the decisions. You will not be disappointed. She is AMAZING!

So think about the pickiest person you know, then times that by 10, and you'll get me! so imagine me as a bride! I like to think I was a super sweet but a very involved bride lol. I knew what i wanted and how i wanted it, some of my ideas weren't the best and Nicole was very good with politely letting me know. She executed and finessed my vision to perfection! I could not be more happy with choosing DID to be a part of the most important moment in my life.
My husband and I live and work in New York City but decided to have a destination wedding in Malibu.We initially disagreed on whether or not to hire a wedding planner.My husband did not believe that hiring a wedding planner was necessary at the time (to no real surprise, ha).I, however, knew better and started researching and contacting wedding planners.I came across Nicole’s work on several wedding blogs and Instagram and loved her style.As soon as I spoke to her on the phone I knew that she was our girl!Throughout the whole process she was extremely professional and knowledgeable, yet warm and personable.I am a perfectionist and slightly agonized over every detail.She would instantly put me at ease and replace any apprehension with excitement.She discussed and answered my every question and concern.She truly cares about your wedding day as much as you do.As for the design side, she instantly understood my vision for the day and ran with it.The tree rentals she produced for our day were nothing short of stunning. We actually hired ALL of our wedding day vendors off of her suggestions and were blown away by all of them.The day turned out exactly as imagined and our guests' compliments continue to this day.We can honestly say that we had the wedding of our dreams because of Nicole and I will forever love her for that!
Sigh... what can I say about Nicole that hasn't already been said. Yes, she's talented, creative, has great style, detail oriented, friendly, and organized. But everyone has already told you that in these reviews. So I'll start by telling you about Nicole as a person: She is a lovely individual. You feel instantly that she wants to genuinely be a supportive friend through one of the more manic times in your life (very stressful/extremely joyful). She randomly sent me thoughtful gifts (along with her other clients) that were packaged in such an artistic way that they encapsulated her aesthetic perfectly. She graciously adapted to my busy schedule (finishing law school, studying for the bar), by utilizing a spectrum of technology to efficiently make decisions. I chose Nicole’s partial planning package along with some of her rentals, yet I have a sneaking suspicion - to an almost certainty - that she performed way more work for me than I actually paid for, simply because (a) she legitimately cared about fully realizing my vision, and (b), as an artist, it was important to Nicole that her work product be perfect - regardless of the compensation. For this, I will be endlessly grateful.
If you plan on getting a wedding planner for your wedding or special event - BOOK NICOLE! If you are debating on whether or not to get a planner you should definitely get one and BOOK NICOLE! If you are not getting a wedding planner you should and BOOK NICOLE!!Nicole is so so so SO amazing!! SO AMAZING!! I can't stop smiling writing this review - she is seriously incredible!

Nicole Harris was my day of wedding coordinator for my wedding in June. Like some of the other reviews here, both my husband and I agree, she was the best money we spent on our wedding. We interviewed with five other planning firms and Nicole was by far the best! We clicked immediately. It felt like she was a friend and truly invested in the success of our wedding and marriage. Plus, I was so impressed that she had such knowledge of the wedding industry with her different backgrounds in all types of events, outside of weddings. It was comforting to know that she would bring in a lot of out of the box knowledge and ideas. But nothing could compare to all the work and overtime effort she put into our wedding. I honestly don't know if I would have been able to look back and have sweet memories of our wedding day if it weren't for Nicole. I doubt anyone else would have had the knowledge and resources to shift gears so seamlessly. All our guests loved our wedding! Personable, attentive, and on-top-of-it! That's what I was looking for in a wedding planner, and Nicole embodies it all. I interviewed 3 other planners prior to hiring her, and none of them seemed like the right fit. From first impression to the end of the wedding, Nicole was professional and always several steps ahead of us. Her know-how and the number of contacts she has in the industry is astounding. If one vendor wasn't working for me, she could send me several more to choose from, but it wasn't hard. She understood the style we were going for, and it was a matter of me simply getting in touch with the vendor. Everyone she recommended was great, they were able to give the same high-level service Nicole offered. I really valued her opinion. This woman does not hesitate. She knows what's right for you and is always looking out for you. She's simply the expert!The day of the wedding went without a single hitch. I was relaxed and calm, none of those butterflies-in-your-stomach feeling at all. I knew I had hired the best and had nothing to worry about (even the little bit of rain we got right before the ceremony!) The wedding and reception were fantastic, and I've gotten so many compliments about everything. As much as I'd like to think that planning and putting on a wedding was something my mom and I could do ourselves, the truth is that we never would have been able to pull it off without Nicole and her team from Dreams In Detail. From vendor recommendations to timeline and reception layout logistics to making sure everything was where it needed to be before and after the reception, they did an amazing job! We couldn't have been in better hands on my wedding day.Nicole worked with us throughout the planning process and set us up with her associates who were with us on the day of the wedding. Nicole is so much fun, and definitely knows when to get down to business and make things happen if they're for some reason not happening. My mom and I had a great time working with both Nicole and her entire team. They understood right away what sort of event we wanted, and steered us toward excellent vendors when we needed suggestions and otherwise provided lots of support and helped to work out the many logistical puzzles that a wedding entails.The value of what they do is extraordinary my parents didn't have to worry about a thing on the day of thewedding and neither did I, which frankly is something you can't put a price on. My parents told me that, after they sent us off at the end of the reception, Nicole handed them their car keys and said everything was ready to go. She'd already loaded in the gifts, leftover favors, and anything else they needed to take with them, and they didn't even need to go back inside the venue. Such service! Speaking of value, I don't think you'll find a better deal on wedding coordination, regardless of what level package you get with DID. It's a totally reasonable price, and they could easily charge more if they wanted. I'm thrilled that they were within my budget and recommend them to anyone who is planning a wedding in California, vegas, or nyc (or anywhere else they'll go, for that matter). They are so well connected in the industry, and, more important, they are a total blast to work with!
I think everyone needs a Nicole. Initially, I justified hiring a wedding planner because I was planning an LA wedding from the East Coast. However I don't think it matters if you are near or far. Nicole is invaluable. Planning your wedding is overwhelming. There are so many choices, considerations, and questions. Nicole reduced some of the noise by recommending great vendors and talking us through the steps. She asked questions that really helped us visualize the wedding and how we wanted to craft it. She made a timeline for us that we could send out to all our vendors. Most valuable was Nicole at the rehearsal and day of the wedding. She was so calm and professional. She totally made it happen. We had a ton of handmade details that needed to be placed and staged during the wedding. While we were getting ready and taking pictures she was overseeing all of those details with the vendors to perfection. She helped us and our family actually enjoy our wedding without having to worry what step was next. I can't imagine doing our wedding without her and I'm a huge d.i.y. person. I can't recommend her enough. If you are near or far- plan your wedding with Nicole. She rocks!
Nicole Harris helped us pull off our dream wedding and we are so thrilled we hired her for our day. There are too many jokers out there with a website -- Nicole knows who the real-deal DJs, transportation, and other vendors are. She completely hooks you up with the A-#1 providers. She handles conflict well -- including family, budgets, and even saving us from a hotel nightmare a mere 6 days before our wedding!! During the rehearsal and wedding day festivities, Nicole keeps it rolling and you end up with a gorgeous, stress-free, seamless event. I am so thrilled she was a part of our wedding. When I got engaged, literally every married couple I know told me that the one thing that was a must have in the whole wedding process was a planner. After making infamous comments about how hard could it possibly be that were bound to come back and haunt me, I found myself frantically googling wedding planners a few weeks after the engagement.

Nicole is awesome! I have no idea what I would have done without her. She personally took the time to do so much for us leading up to and during our big day. From the rehearsal to the final send off - everything went off without a hitch. She was great with our guests and family going above and beyond to make sure things were perfect - Nicole even personally was there as a shoulder to learn on and was very emotionally present with me when I was nervous before walking down the aisle. I had no issue communicating with Nicole, every time I called she either answered immediately or called me back within 30 minutes. Overall I couldn't recommend Nicole more. She was professional, creative, and a lot of fun to actually have at the wedding on top of all of that!!

Dreams in Detail blew me away with their portfolio. Upon meeting with them, it didn't take more than 5 minutes to know that they were going to be a good fit - Laid back but super on top of things, professional, on time, and took the time to get to know us well enough to know what wedding style would work for us. On the wedding day, I was able to go about my day and felt very comfortable with Nicole who worked efficiently to make sure that I did not have to lift a finger. I had a wonderful experience working with Dreams in Detail. They are an extremely professional, full service, wedding planning firm. I hired them for planning and used some of their rentals including their super gorgeous white flower wall for my ceremony backdrop. After, the team moved the wall to the reception and it doubled as a photo backdrop and it was a hit! I strongly recommend their services for anyone who is looking for a beautiful and elegant affair. Oh! And they've got a wonderful taste and provide WONDERFUL value, especially if you book their services with their rentals together! You cannot go wrong with Dreams in Detail!!
I hired day-of-coordination services with Nicole and her team and they were both GREAT - super organized, creative, kind, flexible, and understanding of all my needs (including financial). They never made me feel bad for my budget fluctuating. They adjusted the budget and worked with us to make sure we were properly matched with vendors. They were able to put everything together from all the vendors that I was working with and come up with an overall plan/aesthetic that tied everything together so that I had NOTHING to worry about on the big day!
