Drey Hotel

For a block of rooms for our out of town wedding guests, the Drey was PERFECTION. We (the bride and groom) wanted to cover as much of our guests' major costs as possible (all family) so we originally booked seven rooms for two nights and the Drey worked with our guests to add on nights to their rooms as some wanted to arrive a day early or leave a day later. We stayed in communication with the Drey and provided them a chart of the guest names per room and they made sure that each party had the same room throughout their stay and got to know our family as we came and went for several meals and the actual wedding. I was not surprised when the front desk knew that my dad's room was the "snack room" for all the kids! My mom made sure to give them some flowers from the wedding (held at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens) when it was done and they proudly kept the arrangement on the front desk. We truly felt like they were celebrating with us. Every request was met with a smile and they helped make our wedding SO enjoyable and relaxing. The only hitch was that the pools were very very crowded on Saturday with so many drunk young people and our guests under the age of eighteen were quite overwhelmed with the number of people and amount of alcohol in the pools Saturday afternoon after our wedding, but this isn't really a reflection of the hotel, just something good to know.

My husband and I were married at The Drey this past November and the experience was phenomenal for both us and our guests. When we started the wedding planning process we knew we wanted a "one-stop shop" venue. We wanted a stylish place where we could have our rehearsal, ceremony, and reception. Comfortable accommodations for getting ready as well as for our guests that would be staying overnight. A venue that included delicious food catering and bar services. As well as a location that felt intimate but also provided entertainment options within close distance for our guests. The Drey delivered on all of this and the whole weekend exceeded our expectations. Rose and the team at The Village were so accommodating in making our vision come to life. We opted to rent out both the Ballroom and Anise (the onsite restaurant) for our ceremony and reception, took advantage of the Village Country Club for our rehearsal dinner, and La Mina for a Speakeasy wedding party cocktail hour and afterparty. Since the hotel only has one ballroom and 38-guest rooms, it really felt like we had the whole space for our friends and family. The access to all of the other Village amenities, amazing restaurants, and shops, as well as the close proximity to everything else in Dallas was key for our out of town guests, many of who said they would stay at The Drey again if they returned to the area. Highly recommend!!

We couldn't ask for more from The Drey staff. They were wonderful to work with throughout the entire process from first meeting, coordination and collaboration, venue set up, quality of food and superb service. The staff was very professional, easy to work with, and very friendly.
