We had the most incredible experience hosting our wedding at Drury Lane and cannot recommend it highly enough. We were married on November 8, 2025, used two ballrooms, and truly could not have asked for a better venue or team.
Working with Tammy was an absolute pleasure. Over the course of a year, she patiently answered countless questions and accommodated every request we had. On the wedding day, she worked seamlessly alongside our wedding planner team to ensure everything ran smoothly, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy the day.
The facility itself was stunning, especially with the Christmas décor, which felt like such a special and unexpected treat. We also hosted our rehearsal dinner in the English Room, and it was phenomenal. Having both our Friday and Saturday events at the same location was incredibly convenient for our out-of-town guests, and the nearby hotel made everything even easier for them.
The food was outstanding both nights, and we received endless compliments. We also did our wedding cake through The Baking Institute, per Drury Lane’s recommendation, and it was fantastic. We rented our linens through BBJ La Tavola, Drury Lane’s linen vendor, and they were an absolute dream to work with. Everything came together beautifully.
I was initially worried about how our cocktail hour would work with another reception happening at the same time, but it was a complete non-issue. We even leaned into it by hiring a sax player to greet our guests while the other wedding had a pianist. The piano was set up in the cocktail space and the saxophone was in the main vestibule, which ended up being such a fun and unique way to make the most of both performances.
The Drury Lane team also set up our sweets table beautifully and flawlessly executed serving our wedding cake directly at the tables. This is no small task for a 300+ person wedding, and they handled it with ease and elegance.
From start to finish, Drury Lane exceeded our expectations. The service, coordination, food, and overall experience were exceptional. We are so grateful to Tammy and the entire Drury Lane team for making our wedding weekend unforgettable.

All of our questions were answered in a timely response, and she was great at communicating with us. Our tasting was delicious but the food on the wedding day was even better than we expected. Everyone was raving about how amazing our food was. Kellie worked well with us & our day of coordinator to make sure our vision came to life. Between our decor from our decorator and the gorgeous Christmas decorations our wedding was truly everything we could have imagined & more. With formal place settings anchored by gold chargers, the tables created a luxurious aesthetic that wowed our guests the moment they walked in. The waitstaff provided exceptional white glove service throughout the evening, as our five-course meal was served hot, fresh, and beautifully presented. All in all, we truly felt like we got the glitz and glamor of a Chicago experience but at suburban pricing. area. The Crystal Room 100% fit the vibe and theme of our wedding. They were very accommodating with us bringing in our own centerpieces and worked well with our other vendors. The food was great not your typical "banquet food" by far and the presentation was beautiful. Where they missed the mark just a little was the execution of after dinner service and "clean up". As the bride and groom if we did not have a wedding planner we feel we may not have gotten the attention we did, she checked in more than the servers. Maybe the banquet staff felt they could leave some tasks to her? Guests mentioned they felt rushed after dinner, with drinks including water being taken away any time they stepped away from the table to dance or go to the bathroom. They then would need to go to the bar for another. We had ordered the nacho bar that came out around 10:30. Later when some raved about this others reported it was not refilled and they did not get any. We know by 11:00pm several of our guest had left so I am unsure how there was not enough for the ones that were there when the amount was based on our final count. We chose to end the DJ early because the crowd was thinning but then felt rushed to leave to room when we had it until 12:00. With the after bar area reserved starting at 12:00 some of our guests were left roaming in main the lobby until the bar lights came on at 12:00. It was an awkward 20 minutes or so. When the bar opened up we did fill the space with 30-40 guests who stayed almost the whole extra 2 hours. So that was worth the extra amount spent on the deposit. Overall we had a great time, and a good experience. Our guests are still talking about the beautiful reception and great food. Megan even helped after the event with an issue we had at the hotel we stayed at as part of the package. We would hold another event there and would recommend it to others.

During our wedding day, Tammy helped us organize everything. The wait staff was outstanding. No one ever had an empty plate or cup.
I wish we could get married every weekend! We had such a blast. Drury Lane is stunning, affordable, and absolutely perfect!

had a lot of great advice for us. (I always felt bad for emailing her a bunch of silly questions, but she always answered them.) All of the event staff are very nice, but major props to Megan for helping us basically make our wedding a success in 6 months.
All of our food was fantastic (so so so many compliments on everything and how everyone basically cleaned their plates). Seriously, I almost wish I could have had more food on our menu.
We held our reception in the Crystal Room, and it looked gorgeous! In fact, if you decide to get married here in December, the entire building is beautifully decorated for the holidays. (We were also kindly let in to one of the rooms for some pictures that I can't wait to see.)
Seriously though, everything was handled wonderfully, the staff were great, and I couldn't be happier for how everything turned out. I can't recommend them enough and I'm excited for our 1 Year Anniversary brunch in the future!

Director of Events. From start to finish, he was amazing. Professional, responsive, efficient, and flexible enough to adapt to the most extreme conditions of trying to plan our wedding during a global pandemic! With the continuously changing rules and guidelines, Brandon made sure to let us know what we could and could not do, and always offered helpful ideas and suggestions. Coordination leading up to the event was excellent, but execution on the night was world class. It made our whole wedding celebration that much better as I did not have to worry or fuss over anything. Brandon, the banquet manager and our servers on the night made sure to take care of everything. We had a fantastic wedding at Drury Lane and will recommend to anyone looking for an elegant and glam indoor location.

The venue itself is stunning, without any additional decor. With its pillars and chandeliers and even greenery. Not only was it EXTREMELY affordable, but every single step of the process was done seamlessly with the help of their wedding coordinators, Tammy and Kara.
Kara was moving away and so she would no longer be with Drury Lane, so she introduced us to Tammy! Tammy and the rest of the staff at Drury Lane helped make our wedding a DREAM. Tammy was communicative from the start, responding promptly to e-mails and calls, providing thoughtful suggestions, and offering advice. She has done this many times, so she knows all the ins and outs. She coordinated the location of the table arrangements, the DJ, gift table, and the dessert table. She helped all of my vendors including the decorator, DJ, and caterers around the space, so we showed up to the venue that was perfectly set up. She coordinated with the bar staff (opening and closing the bars), opening and closing doors during all of our entrances, moving people out of the hall and into the venue when the events were about to start. I loved not having anything to worry about on the day of. Would highly recommend this venue. We had the best day ever!

dding reception. When we were looking for a venue for our wedding reception, we noticed many places wanted us to fit our wedding to their space. That was not the case with Drury Lane; Drury Lane’s goal was to make their space the perfect fit for our wedding.
Throughout the process of planning our reception, Brandon and the staff at Drury Lane worked together with us to transform our ideas into concrete plans. The communication and support we received from Drury Lane’s staff made planning a wedding reception so much easier than I could have ever imagined. From the food tasting, the choosing of linens, the collaboration with our vendors, and the planning of all our special details, Drury Lane went above and beyond to help us create our wedding vision.
On the day of the wedding, we walked in and we were blown away to see how the Crystal Room had been transformed into the most unique and stunning reception space. I had a handful of ideas I wanted included in our wedding reception and they made each of them happen. From the hot chocolate bar, to the grand piano for the band to play, to the special Caesar salad delivered especially to the groom, each detail had been executed perfectly. We are so grateful for all Drury Lane did to make memories on our wedding day that will last a lifetime!

She always answered our questions in a timely manner and always professional. She did an awesome job at making us feel important and had our best interest in mind. Christina became more than our coordinator. She was so involved in our vision, that by the end of it all, I felt like I had gained a friend. She made the whole experience very personal. Her recommendations from her personal experience were all great with five star reviews themselves. I actually ended up using a Pianist she had recommended during our cocktail hour. When we walked into our reception for the first time, I cried. It was perfect. The food was also fantastic, our guests are still talking about it! The hospitality from staff was wonderful. I do not have any regrets with our decision and if I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change one thing. I would highly recommend Drury Lane and to work with Christina, of course. I can't imagine planning our wedding without Christina. Bride to Bride, you will not regret it!

al. We didn’t want to end up in a cookie cutter hotel ballroom. But no matter where we looked, we couldn’t find a place that offered the elegance that we wanted more than anything. That is, until we visited Drury Lane. The minute we walked into the Crystal Room our eyes met and I knew we were in agreement, we had found our venue. The entire process was relatively seamless. The coordinator we were originally assigned left Drury Lane, and it ended up being a godsend! Christina was assigned our new coordinator and she became our right hand lady. No matter how many emails we sent her, or weird questions we asked, or details we threw her way, she met the challenge. And trust me, it was no easy feat, she literally went above and beyond. She listened to every single thing and made sure what we saw on our big day was exactly what we wanted. Even Megan, one of the other coordinators, was exceptionally kind and helpful when I showed up to drop off items for the reception. She grabbed carts and helped me to haul stuff in, with a smile on her face and nothing but congratulations! When we arrived on the day of, the venue was gorgeous and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Maria, who not only served us for our tasting, but was also our server the night of our wedding, is the kindest, most attentive and thoughtful woman I’ve ever met. She went the extra mile to make sure everything was taken care of and that we felt like a king and queen! The food was good - but there was a significant difference in the taste and quality compared to the tasting. But we knew that is to be expected when cooking for 100 vs cooking for 2. And a word of advise to future brides and grooms - always hand deliver your payments! We sent a payment via FedEx with tracking, and although FedEx shows it got delivered, we were told it was never received. So less than a week out we had to scramble to get a new check cut and get it there. All in all, with the complimentary valet and coat check, two options for hotels in the same parking lot, the beautiful ballrooms, and the amazing staff, you truly can’t go wrong with booking your wedding at Drury Lane!

Tammy was very professional, responsive, and accommodating throughout the entire planning process. Her years of experience working in the industry are evident as she always had a calm demeanor while still executing flawlessly with her staff on everything we requested. The food at our wedding reception blew us away, and we received so many compliments from guests on how much they enjoyed the dinner. We could not be happier with our experience and cannot recommend Drury Lane enough!

l suggestions, and offering advice. She was pleasant and sharp! She helped all of my vendors including the florist, DJ, and photo booth, around the space, so we showed up to a room that was perfectly set up and ready to party. I loved not having anything to worry about on the day of.
The space itself (my husband and I used the Crystal Room) was stunning and required truly minimal decorations - a huge plus, as we were on a pretty tight budget. The food was wonderful, as was the service by the catering staff. They were all kind and attentive. Also impressive was the chef's attention to detail. Out of an almost 130-person wedding, we had four guests with very serious food allergies. The chef created a custom menu for each guest and was even able to provide it for us in advance.
Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Drury Lane. Planning was minimally stressful since the pricing includes so much. And if you can, definitely work with Megan! She was truly a rockstar.

over those 18 months was so simple and straightforward.
We were looking for a venue that was beautiful on its own, pretty much all-inclusive, and reasonably priced and Drury Lane ticked all those boxes. Also, the food was DELICIOUS! Seriously, its a month later and people are still telling me how it was probably the food they'd had at a wedding (shout out to the champagne sorbet). So much parking, plus complimentary valet, hotels on-site (plus a complimentary hotel room), easy to get to from the city and just all that old-Hollywood glam.
We worked with Ruth, Lesley, and Tammy and each of them was incredibly helpful and so nice. It was so easy to arrange our tasting, pick a menu, discuss linens, arrange a rehearsal, etc.
I can't recommend highly enough!

If you are looking for a wedding venue in the Chicago area, Drury Lane is the place to go! I cannot say enough great things about this venue, Tammy Blachuciak and all of the staff....
From my first interaction reaching out to inquire about dates and pricing, I was surprised by how responsive and flexible everyone was, especially compared to experiences I had with other venues at the beginning of our planning process. My then fiancé and I toured Drury Lane on December 28th, 2018 and had it booked for our wedding date, October 5th, 2019 within one week because Tammy knew I was going out of the country for two weeks and worked extremely hard to work with me on the contract in such a short time frame. Having a wedding with 325 guests takes a lot of coordination and time and Tammy helped me with all of my random questions, last minute changes, and pointing out things that I hadn't even thought of. She was very flexible with meeting me at Drury Lane, even staying late to accommodate my drive in from the city. She even worked with my other vendors directly so that I wasn't stressing out right before the wedding. We had our wedding reception in the Oak and Brook ballrooms. It is hard to even describe how gorgeous and elegant Drury Lane is. From the beautiful entrance and foyer to the huge mirrors and stunning chandeliers in the ballroom, it is simply the most beautiful wedding venue I have ever been to. On top of that, the food is amazing! All of our guests were raving about how delicious the food was. The serving staff was great about getting all of the food out efficiently but also taking the time to make sure guests were done with each course before taking it away. As this was my wedding, I know that I am probably biased in saying this was the best wedding I have ever been to, but ALL of my guests said the same thing and I know this would not have been the case if not for Tammy and Drury Lane. Tammy truly cared about our wedding and making it as perfect as can be, you can tell that it is not just a job for her. I cannot recommend Drury Lane enough!

She was very quick to respond to any questions via email or phone that we might of had, no matter how small or silly they were. She met with us several times just to make sure she knew exactly what our vision was for our day. Tammy also wrote down that I (bride) was gluten and dairy free, and the food brought out to me was things that I could eat. Not many places would go that above and beyond for a complicated diet. The day of our wedding, everything went very smoothly. Tammy and others checked in with us throughout the night to ask if we needed anything, ask how food was and ask how the night was going. Tammy was helpful in making sure things were on time as well as helping with my dress when we couldn’t figure out how to bustle it. Our guests had nothing but great things to say about the day and the food! I would definitely recommend Drury Lane to any couple getting married.

the decor for the theater was so beautiful, it was an added bonus as we got married around the holidays. I would also like to point out the service during our reception. I have family members who have food allergies, and I had informed our server, they went above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect for my family and that there would be no issues. It was service that made such a positive impression that I had family members talking about it a few months later! If I had to host any events I would choose Drury Lane again. h Tammy, to the evening itself, everything was seamless, detail-oriented, high-quality, and beautifully done! The food was absolutely delicious, the Oak Room was beautiful, Tammy ensured every detail (even those I did not think of or mention) was done perfectly. I kept the centerpieces simple with the included package, and they were so lovely, beautiful, and classy (all styled by Tammy). Any miscellaneous items (memorial signs, hashtag signs, etc) that I had for decoration but didn't know exactly how or where they would be displayed, Tammy took care of without any problem. The ambiance of the rooms with the beautiful chandeliers and gorgeous table linens is exactly what you picture for a dream formal wedding venue. Tammy was so quick in her responses to any of my questions, helped my bridesmaids bustle my dress when I arrived, checked in with us (my parents, husband, and me) all evening long, and just did everything possible to make the evening everything we could have dreamed and more. We are so grateful to Drury Lane (and Tammy!) and highly recommend you book them for your wedding!
